I consulted with many DJ services before finding Superior Sound Entertainment and we instantly clicked. Working with DJ Prez and DJ Szn was soooo stress free because they are so organized and responsive. They made sure that we talked about every aspect of the day in advance. Our guests could not stop talking about how much fun they had with the photobooth either! We loved that they were able to have instant memories from the day. DJ Szn was great at getting the crowd on the dance floor and playing all of the right songs. I didn’t leave the dance floor all night. We also got a lot of compliments on how professional DJ Szn and his assistant dressed!! You cannot go wrong with Superior Sound or DJ Szn.

My wedding became the party of the year thanks to Robert. When we first met, he made us both feel comfortable relaying our likes and dislikes. He created a wonderful atmosphere during all the phases of the night. Being Hispanic and marrying someone non-Hispanic, Robert was able to keep both sides of the family dancing all night long to English and Spanish music. No one wanted the party to stop! Cody and I received so many compliments from our family members on how good the music was. Even a few people said it made them feel young again and that they hadn’t partied like that since they were young. If you're looking to have a good time with your friends and families, Robert is your guy!

We hired Robert “DJ Prez” for our wedding this past Saturday and we are still getting compliments on the music! Prior to the wedding we were able to have a zoom meeting with him and also add music to our portal. Robert did such a good job of playing the songs we asked for, adding ones we didn’t even know we needed, and keeping the party going. We had a rather small wedding and were worried about the dance floor looking empty, but Robert kept it full the whole time! He did a great job reading the room, and seamlessly made impromptu announcements for us when asked. Not only was he a great entertainer, but he is just so kind. He was so happy for us and seemed to be having just as much fun as our guests. We could not be more happy with our choice!

Robert was absolutely amazing! He was upbeat from the very first time I spoke to him, so I knew he was going to be the right choice for us. We love to dance, but we love a DJ that understands the crowd… and Robert excelled at that! He knew exactly what type of song should be played given the people at our wedding! We had to move our reception indoors due to rain, and Robert was extremely prepared to make sure the speeches and music flowed properly wherever we were! He was also super responsive to emails and calls, and was very flexible when we wanted things changed or added. LOOK NOWHERE ELSE!!! Working with superior sounds made our day absolutely perfect. We had Robert for the ceremony, cocktail setup and the reception. I do not have enough kind things to say about Robert! Robert was actually one of the first vendors we chose for our wedding - we got excited just from watching the footage from some of the previous weddings he'd done, but when I reached out to him, Robert called me back unbelievably quickly! His timeliness and responsiveness pulled me in, but his outgoing personality sealed the deal for us! As we got closer to the wedding, Robert went above and beyond, scheduling a virtual meeting with us 2 weeks before the wedding to walk through our timeline and make sure the night would run smoothly. He even allowed us to easily add on a super fun photo booth that our guests loved (and I love that we got copies of the pictures afterwards)! Even though the majority of our guests were out-of-state and I planned on spending a lot of the evening talking, I could not stay off the dance floor! The energy Robert created was palpable, and Robert ensured that our wedding was one of the best events I've ever attended and one of the best nights of my life! Weeks later, our guests are still going out of their way to tell us how much fun they had!

It offered many options to customize our playlist for all phases of the wedding (pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) Their photobooth was also highly customizable and excellent. Our guests loved it. DJ Nobleman did a great job keeping our guests entertained throughout the wedding with his mc’ing and perfect song selections. Our guests were dancing the entire night. We booked DJ Szn to dj for our wedding in June and he did a wonderful job! We're so happy with the decision we made. We asked for a party and DJ Szn delivered! He did a great job of transitioning the music throughout the event from our reception entrance, to cake cutting, to the true party hour at the end of the night! I loved the fact that there is an interactive site that you get to use to set up your wedding playlist and even give guests a link to have them do requests as well! Brennan was our DJ for the wedding. Brennan was incredibly professional, organized, and respectful. He was a fabulous DJ and always had a warm, genuine smile displayed. His music selection and timing were top notch, resulting in extremely smooth transitions from one part of the wedding to the next! I cannot say enough good things about Robert aka DJ Prez! From the moment I requested info until our wedding day, Robert was professional, responsive, positive, and so easy to work with. He personally called me to provide information about Superior Sound’s variety of services which stuck out to me amongst other companies we considered. We used Robert for both our ceremony sound & reception. I loved using his online portal, which made planning the day so easy. Robert truly has a gift for “bringing the party” and his passion is so evident. He is able to read the room and effortlessly keeps the dance floor fun. On top of providing a wonderful atmosphere for our wedding, he was very flexible with us during some difficult circumstances. My wedding was held outdoors, and we had to deal with quite a bit of rain. As we figured out how to adjust our original plan, Robert continued to communicate and work with us as we pushed back events to deal with the rain. In the end, everything turned out great. Weddings are stressful enough as it is, so you don't need anyone around who adds to it. This review will be a little long, but I want to explain exactly what you can expect and why Robert (DJ Prez) is the best DJ! If you want a quick review my short answer is: Stop looking around for a DJ and just go ahead and book Robert. You will not be disappointed. He kept all our guests on the dance floor the whole night! If you want a party, he is your guy. Our wedding wouldn’t have been as amazing without him. Now, to go into more detail starting with the night of the wedding. First of all, he was on time, required little direction and nailed every single one of our special songs for the ceremony, first dance, father/daughter, mother/son dances, etc. We sent him a Spotify playlist with songs we love so he can get a good idea of the vibe we wanted. On top of that, I am Persian so I sent him a separate list of Persian songs and asked him to just feel the vibe of the night and switch it up. He nailed it and our guests were so happy. Robert is not one of those DJs who will just hit play on a playlist. I could tell he actually took the time to listen to the songs we liked prior to our day and his transitions from one song to the next were flawless and so upbeat and fun. There was not a single lull or pause during our night. We had a full dance floor the whole night. And he was just interactive enough to get the crowd going without making it cheesy. Next, I want to talk about the lighting. We got the Platinum package, which includes uplighting. I highly recommend you get this package at the very least. I thought the uplighting would just be one color the whole night. It was one color during our dinner, but once the dancing started, the uplighting would alternate colors for more of a party feel, so the entire room felt like a giant dance floor. Even our guests who remained at their tables felt like part of the party and were dancing in their seats! I highly recommend you get his uplighting, I was so impressed! The Platinum package also included moving dance floor lights and his DJ stand was also so polished and professional looking. Don’t pass on this part if you want your wedding to be a fun party. If I could go back, I would’ve gotten his biggest package possible. Lastly, I’m going to talk about the pre planning process. Robert is super organized and professional. He has an online portal that makes everything so easy to upload. He will also meet with you a couple weeks before the wedding to talk through everything. He put our minds at ease and then exceeded our expectations the day of! Plus, I was a Covid bride and we changed our wedding date twice, but he was so cooperative and understanding. He was my favorite vendor, hands down! I found Robert online just by researching (not by word of mouth), so I wasn’t sure what to expect and I am happy to say I was very pleased. I booked him initially because I could tell he took the time to keep his social media updated and put a lot of effort into his business. I didn’t just want a DJ that played music to make money. He actually cares about his business and cares about making your day special and perfect! I promise you, you will not be disappointed with Robert as your DJ!

I was given a list of recommended vendors from my wedding venue and decided to hire Robert “DJ Prez” with Superior Sound based on all of the reviews that said how fun he is, how interactive he is, how he seamlessly gets guests participating on the dance floor (many of whom normally may be too reserved), his ability to read his crowd, etc. Every single review I read, everyone loved him! I was very comfortable that it would be the same for us and was very excited he wasn’t booked for our date! (Recommend booking far in advance!) I loved his online portal that allowed you to select “must play” “play if possible” “later in night party songs” “dedication songs” “cocktail hour music” “dinner music” and really plan out the vibes for your evening. There were tons he couldn’t get to because of time, and there were others he added, but I believe it is because of crowd reading. Everyone told us how great he was and what a great time they had! All of this to say, the reviews were right, and we Highly Recommend! As far as value for $, I didn’t research beyond him, so I do not know average costs. One thing you can not do is try to save on entertainment. The entertainment can make or break a party. Who doesn’t want their guests to have the best time? :) Congrats to all the other Brides and Grooms, and for any other event too, call Superior Sound! You will not be disappointed!

Robert was on time. He got set up very quickly. He was so friendly and had the prettiest smile. He help get the party going by getting out on the dance floor and teaching us dances. He was exactly what our crowd needed!
