Honestly, my rating is strictly based on my experience at the New Edition concert only. I didn’t eat or drink nor did I use the facilities while there. Let me first say if you’re unfamiliar with the arena please pay for parking in advance or arrive in enough time to park and walk as needed. We were blessed to find $20 parking right across the street literally and that came in handy when leaving. We were in and out the parking lot before the crowds even came. Now, let’s discuss the arena. We had floor seats (row 18 seats 5-6) GREAT LOCATION from the stage. I’m 5’3 and he’s 6’2 PERFECT for him and as long as no one too tall was in front of me I didn’t have to stand on my toes *insert eye roll* OMG I could see everyone’s faces so clearly! Just so you know the first sections to the right or left are GREAT SEATS as well if you can get the first few rows. I would have loved to been on the side once I saw how close they were to the stage. Thanks for an awesome experience Birmingham this GA Peach enjoyed herself.

Had an awesome time taking my son and his friend to the squadrons game. It was autism night and we had a great time. Food is affordable drinks are a little high. Very clean, seems very safe and all of the employees were very nice.

Surprised my daughter for her birthday by flying us to Alabama and attending the Billie Eilish concert at Legacy Arena. Great venue, no complaints. The sound was perfect and the view from our seats was amazing! They were side view seats, which ended up way better than imagined!

Venue was awesome ..it was packed and ORGANIZED.. Parking will always jammed and slow around ANY event...only negative is: IF you get seats and have knee, breathing or climbing issues DONOT get thise seats in section 214 A-and up...you will be an amateur climber getting up there.. Thank me later.

Attending the Men and Women qualifying matches for tumbling. The World Games 2022. BJCC needs to work on their concessions. Food was sub par, athletes were great. Love the new upgrades in Arena.

Paid $20 for parking right across the street from the arena and only had to cross the street to get to the door. So that was a huge plus. The staff was beyond helpful and super friendly. Checking in was a breeze. Literally no matter where you sit you have a great view of the entertainer. I sat in section 114 on row AA and could literally reach out and touch the pit area. I got fortunate enough to later be able to get into the pit area and see Kevin Gates up close and personal. I 10/10 recommend this place.

Disney on Ice. Had to scan tickets. I know how it goes. However, for some reason ours didn't scan ( and I was NOT the only one with that problem) we were told no problem. They can print them out. OK good.. after giving the lady my phone and papers I printed just in case. With everything on it to verify I did purchase them.. 25 minutes later, after missing the first part of the show. We finally got in. I paid good money to go. Time with my daughter and granddaughter was not very happy. Because by then I was ill and ready to tell them where to put their tickets. Again I get that's how they do things. Come on. They could perfectly see my confirmation and anything else they might might of needed. They could plainly see I had them.. I will not buy any thing else to get in the BJCC.

Attended the C.M Newton Classic with Bama vs. Gonzaga playing. Very easy in and out of the arena, pretty good beer and drink options, and a great view from any seat. The ONLY problem I had with the arena was immediately after the game was over, they shut the lights out in the bathrooms which isn't smart at all. There's no light switch in the bathrooms that any of us could find either and the lights were off in multiple men's and women's rooms.

I enjoyed the MJB Concert The chairs have been changed out but they are still too small and there IS NOT ENOUGH LEG ROOM AT ALL!!! Look at the picture the lady in front of me head is in my LAP!!!!?

I had no problem with the game itself. My problem is with the concession stands. I waited 45 minutes for nothing. They didn't have any hotdogs, pretzels, the water was lukewarm. With the prices they charge, you'd think they'd have food at the ready.

The recent renovation was well done with great seating, isle lighting, common areas, etc. Attended an Eagles concert and the sound was incredible, but that could’ve been due to their set up.

We went as a group to see Mary J. Blige Good Morning Gorgeous tour with Ella Mai and Queen Naija. It was packed from the bottom to the tippy top. When I tell you they sung me from inside the Legacy Arena to the outside parking lot to where my car was. Honey, we was up in there sipping our frozen daiquiris and cutting a rug. Mary J did most of her classic hits and some of her new songs as well. We had an amazing time and we really enjoyed ourselves, everybody was hoarse the next day. I didn't even make it to the bed, I made a pallet on the floor in my bedroom. Lol. All of the ladies was wonderful and it was a perfect match. They had the lights, audio, real fire, fog smoke, digital and all of the screens going. I loved how they panned the camera over the crowd and put the people in the audience on the screen. Take your debit card and cash in with you because some of the areas didn't take cash. Don't take a large purse in because sometimes they will turn you around. I would be livid if I had to walk all the way back to the car. Parking for me, was $30, that's the most expensive I've ever paid. It's normally $20 so I guess it's going up like everything else except for some people's pay. We were parked directly across the street from the arena. One thing I don't care for is when people will sneak and smoke. To the promotional team who made this happen, great job. I think that's about it, sorry for lengthy post.

Saw a concert, Legacy Arena was clean even the restroom and staff was very nice. Watched from the Coke suite. Had a burger and nachos from the food bar it was ok. All in all I would go to another show at the Legacy Arena

Hadn't been here in a while,the vast improvements were great, everyone i encountered were very friendly. just wish there were better free parking around the venue..I ended up parking in the deck behind bjcc on 11 Avenue north side..guys collecting money had on reflector vest but no uniform shirts ,I was second guessing whether they were legit or not..

Amazing the transformation the City of Birmingham has undertaken to again make this a gem of the 'Magic City'.. It is clean, well secured, & looks great! Saw ZZ Top here - April 1983; Def Leppard in the Spring of 1987; Phil Collins mixed in there somewhere. Back again to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra for the 3rd time.

I had a bad experience because I could not get to my seat because of the location. I wish they had a virtual map to show exactly where the seats are because I could not climb the stairs they were so steep and at the time I had a swollen knee. Had I known I would have never purchased the tickets. It will be some time before I return.

H-Town, Next, and 112 were awesome. BBD and Xscape disappointed me. The walking distance is terrible and the people that work there attitudes were horrible. I only saw a white supervisor and lower employees were all black which explains why the service was so bad.

Awesome place with great customer service most of the time. I've been in most of their auditoriums and halls. Always enough food & drink stands, and bathroom room too. Highly recommend, especially if it's in their smaller auditoriums where it's more intimate. Always purchase the Arena Club if you have floor seats!!!

Very clean. Seats are a little snug but ok. Cup holders on the seats. Went on a Sunday. They serve adult beverages at 12. The hamburger hot dog and chicken finger spot was ok the food was hot the portions were just enough. Price $12- $15 drinks are separate from the food.

The concert was amazing. The construction around the area is horrible. No direction on what to do. Very strict rules for entering so check their site before you go. I did not. They sent people away to put up their bags and belongings. Half the staff were so rude, mostly the outside staff, thank goodness for the few that were helpful. Food inside was good but VERY expensive. We had never been so had no idea what to expect. We had to wait in line outside until 45 min before the concert. It was very hot and muggy. We had walked there so made it even worse

Nice venue. Clean, plenty of restrooms and concessions. Seats are padded; there are areas for ADA seats. Some issues with noise from outside the seating areas coming through to the event. Overall it was a good experience. Construction in the area made parking and walking to/from a little inconvenient but not bad.

First time going and boy oh boy that gravel is a piece of sugar honey ice tea. I was terrified for my rims and tire. It should be paved. I've never gone to a rocky drive in. Where I'm from, it's paved and any car can make it through. Patrons were in their pickup trucks sitting on the freaking roof blocking the view because I have a lower sitting car. I just dealt with it. Ppl were parked weird. Majority parked facing the screen. People in vans were parked sideways so they could just slide the van door open but doing this meant they were taking up multiple parking spaces. I don't know the point of the employee driving around in a golf cart, they were correcting people sitting on roofs blocking views or parking strangely.

We went for a concert. The concert was good, however if you are a smoker, there is only one smoking area in the entire place. There was an issue in the smoking area with someone and the area was closed. There were some unhappy smokers. Drink prices are outrageous. Parking is a nightmare and paid $20 to park a mile away. The parking deck was full. If they book big acts, be sure to have enough parking and someone to direct traffic.

My Husband and I visited from Georgia to attend The Culture Tour. This was our first time staying in the area. Our seats were in section 131 row X we had an awesome view of the stage. The arena is well planned so you can't go wrong with any section of seating. We truly enjoyed ourselves!!!

Saw Jeff Dunham last night, and had a seat in the arena floor. My husband is disabled with mobility issues, and the escalator and elevator down to the floor level is on the opposite side of the general admission entrance for the arena. The food is ridiculously expensive. We paid $6 for a bottled soda. The folding chairs on the floor were very narrow. Not enough stalls in the women's restrooms. The line after the event was probably about a hundred people long. But the place was clean, the seats were a reasonable cost (relatively speaking) and the Staff were friendly and helpful.

The arena was great, I'm glad to see them refurbish this facility rather than tear it down to build a new one. Like i said the arena was great but the parking around the arena is ridiculous. They were asking for more to park ($20) than I paid for my tickets for the event. That needs to be addressed, bottom line is if I had not already bought my tickets I probably would have headed to the house.

Nice venue. Came for SEC Gymnastics Championship meet and had good time. Format of the meet meant we spent over 7 hours in the Arena but the seating is comfortable, there are lots of eating concessions from which to choose, and lots of room to move around.

First time there since it had been redone. Loved not having to climb all the steps to get in. Doors where opened late by about 15mins. Could use more ushers. Had problem with seats and had to go all the way out of seating to find someone to help, but they where very nice. Parking is ridiculous now. And one parking lot was permit only, and one parkin lot was closed. Drove around about 15 mins before found public parking deck.

Beautiful sports center, but their fast food on site is not well stocked. The kiosk we chose ran out of pulled pork and told me 20 minutes until it would be ready. Since she didn't know how to issue a refund I agreed to wait. It took 1 hr and 10 minutes for the pork to arrive (she never mentioned it was getting delivered) then when I got my sandwich basket it had about 2.5 oz if pork, when my husband who had gotten the pork nachos for the same price as my basket, had about 6 oz! Then she wouldn't give me the coleslaw that came with it because it was old. So $11 for a measly hamburger bun with hardly any meat and a bag of chips. Not impressed.

Nice updates to the building! Pay close attention to the bag policies. I couldn't take my very small bag because it had backpack straps but people with larger bags seemed to have no problem. Just double check!

Wonderful seating, no bad seats, plenty bathrooms, chicken finger a little dry but fries were good. Easy to get around to different areas and the score board and electronics cool. All in all I give an "A" grade for Birmingham.

I had a great time last night at the #WWE #Smackdown. It was an amazing performance. Got to see some of the greatest, to ever be in the business! Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, & the list goes on. I missed the Memphis Tennessee show recently, and I wasn't going to miss another one, being close to me. If you haven't been in attendance, I highly recommend it! Also the Legacy Arena was a very nice establishment. Bathrooms were clean! A+++

I only went to take and to get the icecream freezers for Mayfied Dairy after the Basketball game was finished but security is tight to access the entire building and they're always making something different or better inside. Look's good and much different from the 90's era from when I went to see the Birmingham Bulls Hockey Team..

No bags unless they clear or small tiny clutches they will not let you in period unless medications prescribed to you r in bag. Great big space ticket box open when event open so u can buy tickets when u get there

It's a nice complex but kinda of difficult to navigate if you haven't been there much and parking is a nightmare with how much it cost 20 dollars to park at the last show and no parking attendant when show was over to help people get out the crazy parking deck so a car ahead me broke the stop bar just to get out because cars were lined up 20 or so behind us

Had an amazing time. My family and I were there for WWE Monday Night RAW. The area was clean, didn't have anyone begging you to buy anything on the outside of the arena. No Hobo's sleeping on sidewalk or tents pitched. It was very clean, full of happy people, and easy to navigate to parking.
