They offered so many great tips and recommendations during the planning process and it was amazing to see it all come together with all of their help. We engaged Sidney and her team to be our day of coordinators and they did an amazing job throughout the planning process helping us make decisions and giving us advice. In addition, the majority of the vendors we used were part of the Engaged Library and they all exceeded our expectations! The teams worked so seamlessly together it made the planning so much easier! The day of the wedding, Lexie was our coordinator and did an amazing job. We were able to attend and enjoy our wedding and she handled all the details perfectly. The girls were so nice and friendly! They definitely helped my mom and I ease our stress levels especially with this being my mom’s first and only wedding as mother of the bride. The one time membership fee is worth it with all the perks you get with the vendors that they work with! My venue was not one of the vendors but Sidney reassured that they were working on getting them as one which that is good to hear that they are always trying to add more vendors! I would highly highly recommend coming to them whether you are the very beginning of wedding planning or in the middle. Before we met with Engaged, we were feeling really overwhelmed with all the options and details to consider. While there is plenty of advice out there, it was too much to filter through. After our consultation with Engaged, we felt like a weight had been lifted! Literally the first thing I did when I got engaged last year was become an Engaged Library member. The second thing I did was book the Engaged girls as my DOC. Not only did I end up saving almost $1,000 on my wedding, but I also was able to have an extremely smooth wedding planning process and wedding day. Summer was AMAZING and calmed all of my nerves. I wish I could give more stars. What an amazing business concept!! The Engaged Wedding Library has been one of the most helpful wedding resources. While talking to them about our daughter's upcoming wedding, they really listen and recommend the vendors that are a great fit...but that's not all. It's not just a recommendation, they get the ball rolling by starting off the communications with the vendor and bride/bride's family. I think the vendors are even more responsive because of this. Each vendor they have recommended to us has been so amazing to work with as well. This should be every bride's first stop if planning a wedding in the Birmingham area.

Yes, it really is free, and by far superior to racking the knot and other wedding websites trying figure out how to allocate your own budget and find vendors for all the many things you must book and commit to. It is a FREE service offered to Birmingham area brides to help you organize and plan your wedding on your budget. Even if you think you have it all planned out well, the ladies at Engaged Wedding Library will likely make a suggestion that you didn't think of. I have been stressed trying to plan my own wedding and they helped me tremendously. This is particularly an excellent avenue to venture down if you do not have a wedding coordinator. However, if you are looking for a wedding coordinator, they will definitely be able to get you in touch with one. It was also very nice to be able to sit down and look through a few local photographers' sample books and be able to critique it without them being present. Brides-to-be, do yourself a favor and spend an hour at the Engaged Wedding Library. It is well worth your time!!

Visiting with Steph at Engaged Wedding Library is , by far, the best decision I've made in the wedding planning process! Like many brides, I was feeling overwhelmed with websites, vendor names, pinterest, pictures and appointments. I had been to the "Southern Bridal Show" but was disappointed in the choice of vendors. I felt like they weren't really what I needed at the beginning stages of planning. I searched on Instagram and came across the Engaged Wedding Library. I noticed that they were advertising an Engaged Collective Bridal Event. I immediately bought the membership card which gave me two free tickets to the event. The Bridal Event was everything I needed and more! It was a gorgeous and highly organized display of vendors!! It was so wonderful to finally have a face to face conversation with people who wanted to be part of my special day! I was so thrilled and relieved after the show! Thankfully, Engaged Wedding Library had also provided me with a complimentary 1 hour planning session with Steph. I made the appointment with her, and that day in 1 hour we talked about EVERYTHING I wanted my wedding to be. She matched me with vendors that would not only fulfill my wedding dream, but also stay within my budget. She worked with me on my budget and was able to give me helpful tips on where to save and where to splurge. I can't wait for our next appointment where I can share all the wonderful vendors that will be part of our special day, thanks to the Engaged Wedding Library!!

Steph was kind enough to meet with me during a quick trip home and listened to me babble on about how much I wasn't sure about with my wedding.
