Reviews of The Baltimore Convention Center
Isabelle K
I absolutely adored the space because this is where I 1st came to a comic convention. It has now been a decade and the program gets better every year! Anyone creative is going to be here. It doesn't matter if you are a die hard fan of animation or not, you can find someone or something to inspire you. It is extremely spacious inside, Rest areas, Restrooms on every floor, escalators and elevators. Real talk, it doesn't always work the elevators and escalators, so be prepared to walk. There are food stations that are pricey for the amount and quality your receiving but hey, everyone is trying to make that money in the heart of Baltimore. Understand that the city is ALWAYS going to be expensive. Come with a $20 and you'll survive. Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Security is pretty tight, so please don't come to cause trouble, you will be removed. Other than that come with a positive attitude and you will have a great time expanding your horizons and meeting creative artists and artisans. Look for us: Art of the Black Lotus LLC

Was at the Convention Center during the Baltimore Comic-Con. Had a great time there meeting comic book artists from Marvel, DC and other comic book companies. There was also a big variety of vendors, and even an actor signing autographs at the Unusual Company booth. Several people were dressed is very good cosplay costumes.. The facility was very large and a perfect place to host the event.

Beautiful event center. Looking for somewhere in Baltimore to host an event? Here is your place. Huge halls and event centers with modern facilities; very spacious and comfortable chairs. Quality and well kept rest rooms. This event center can be easily located and you will not go wrong with this place. Hifhly recommended and will visit again when in the area. Not leaving out the customer service.. was top notch. Keep it up!!

Went for ICML 2022. Solid convention center, very big, seems clean. The bathrooms were fine, no complaints. Concession/food prices were really high, not sure if this is all the time or specific to my conference. But $4 for a can of Coke is insane…I’d recommend bringing your own food and drink if you’re going to anything here.
Dawud M
Hey family this convention center is really nice and conveniently diwyiwm with adequate parking for whatever event they're having here
Tony Alexander
Inauguration Ball for Wes Moore and Aruna Miller...one of the greatest no actually THE greatest event I've ever been to.
Andrew Burrell
The event I attended itself was amazing but it was put on by a different company/organization. The bathrooms are in sad disrepair(missing door locks faulty equipment) the food inside is insanely over priced 11 for a personal pizza 6 for a hotdog salads at 12. The building and rooms themselves are nice enough but what really really stands out is how amazing the staff and security are. By far one of the best convention crews I have seen.
Mike Parlon
Great place for comic-con nice and big
Alexia
Clean bathrooms for a long weekend of conventions. Nice staff security kept the building safe.
Abel P Desir
It’s very big. Multiple meetings can happened at once.
Bo Maxwell Stevens
I'm here for a conference. Some rooms had a weird buzzing sound similar to tinnitus. Some rooms also had an occasional humming noise, maybe from construction. The coffee was terrible. Morning Mugs, which is a 5 minute walk south, is way better. The nearby Baltimore neighborhood can feel a little unwelcoming. Otherwise decent venue for a conference.
Kest Schwartzman
I wouldn't review the place, but I did search for it and now it keeps asking for a review. The Baltimore Convention Center is an entirely average convention center. The staff is nicer than average, though, so that's a plus if you're working with them.
Gregory Dent
We are so happy with the work that this company did on our driveway! They paid close attention to what we wanted. Even though there were some problems, they didn't give up or leave.
Kandi Shah
Went to comicon. It wasn't as good this year as pre-covid, didn't like the layout and variety as much. I think they're still getting their groove. Parking in downtown Baltimore...ugggh!
Phillipe Sobon
I went here for the Natural Products Expo East and the convention center is perfectly setup. It has 3 floors that is will coordinated with all of the vendors and utilizes all of the space without feeling too cramped. Also. They have a great courtyard outside and a couple of hotels connect to the convention as well. Overall one of the better convention centers I have been to.
Tony Ma
Spacious, plenty of meeting rooms to host large crowds. Clean facilities and a lot of paid parking garages nearby.
Bluu Bird
This place was a fun place to see Comic Con. It was the same weekend as the Baltimore Running Festival, so there was positive energy in the air and people were friendly. I didn't know there was two sides to the convention center so you have to be careful which side you are entering so that you don't miss your event.
The parking is slim. Though there is convention center parking, because it was so busy, it was full. My advice is to head down early if looking to park for an event. Also be willing to park in the other parking venues that are available.
The bathrooms were clean and in good working order.
John Filer
Its HUGE, like Trump's wall. Easy walk to the adjacent Hilton via the sky walk. Clean, safe and lively place for a conference or convention. I come here often for work and have never had a bad experience, staff is friendly and service oriented. The food is amazing and 5 stars. I always enjoy coming here for symposiums and conferences.
Tanvir Prince
Huge convention center, four levels including basement. There are plenty of restrooms available. Skybridge is connected to the nearest Hilton hotel.
Nancy Penalver
Wow get time had by all at the Baltimore convention center.
I had a great time working with the staff and leadership here 🙌.. Its was my pleasure providing support and l hope you welcoming 😊 me back in the near future see you soon …
Keith Mathews
The convention center is set up beautifully what can you say at the convention center I have no complaints about it been there many many times for many many different conventions but I guess the fact that you have no complaints about it speaks volumes
Jezza Rat
Only went there for the last Bronycon. But the staff were nice and it was spacious to fit over 10,000 attendees. Comfy places to sit and nice views out windows and on balcony.
Nita Williams
I attended the B-more Healthy Expo. This year was fun after being closed for the pandemic.I could not wait to see what was new and informative. They did not disappoint😊👍 …
Michael Anderson
Went to the convention center to attend Jurassic Quest! It was epic! My 2 year old son loved it. He wasn't scared of the dinosaurs or anything. We had a great time. But when I say that this experience was EXPENSIVE please believe me! It was ridiculously expensive! Passes helped but not really! Next time I go and I will go again I'll be better prepared.....to turn my son's head in the opposite direction of pricier items hahaha.
Danger Smith
Went there for the MANTS convention and it is a great location for large scale gatherings. If there is a convention going on in that building it is worth going to...
Tanvirul Islam
Very nice place to have convention or big event. Petty well designed and architectural design. You can do lots of events at the same time. They have huge space to have event. This is the one of the tourist attraction in baltimore. There have hover and nice place to visit near convention center. First time i came this place to attend ICNA convention. It’s a biggest islamic event in America. I loved thus placed. In this area there have available hotel, parking and restaurants. Expensive and cheap combination.
m Foster
Went to the Tuerk Conference. It was nice not as congested as it has been (pre-Covid). This was the first one in person since the pandemic. There was only 1 side of exhibits, you actually had a chance to talk to reps and get info on the different programs and what they offer. I was able to update contacts! The speakers were very insightful and lunch ....umm lunch could have been tastier...lol! Our server went into the not understanding english bit whenever he was asked something!! Overall, a good conference!
Tyler Goff
Very cool place for a convention. Lots of rooms. A couple blocks from Inner Harbor and hotel. Great restaurants all around. Also has views of both the baseball and football stadium.
Tracy Stevens
This is my first inaugural ball and it was a history making event!
Congrats to Maryland's 1st Black Governor and the 3td black Governor in the US, Wes Moore.
Molly Wolfe
Went for the oddities expo this past weekend, the convention center is very clean and well organized when it comes to setting up for events.
Mary Jones
Very nice and large enough for all sessions and attendees to spread out! Exceptionally clean restrooms too.
Teresa Walsh
Nice, conveniently located convention center. Lots of good food options inside and near other restaurants if you want to eat outside.
DH DeCaprio
Went for Oddities Expo and it was rad. So many unique vendors! Definitely recommend hitting it up when it comes around again !!
Andrew taylor applegarth
Staff is always helpful in directing where to go, keep your eye out for tony!
jermaine chester
I went to attend the 2021 comic con at the convention center and had a nice time the safety precautions they had in place were great to keep everyone safe this was my first time actually back in the center in over a year it is a pretty nice venue
BJ T
Plenty of space and rooms to accomodate our conference. Baltimore hosts were very helpful and friendly. Be prepared for a lot of walking!
Antonio Jackson
No complaints other than nearby parking prices are esculated during events. Attended the Motortrend carshow.
Ellen M. Hernisey
Beautiful building! But not a lot of people walking around, really thought it was closed!! LOL
Dee MH
Food was expensive 60 bucks for 4 hotdogs and pizza but nice clean bathrooms. Great set up.
fademi IbukunOluwa
It's a really nice place for academic conference with breakout rooms and large ball room for dinner
Braden Walker
The Baltimore Convention Center features many different levels, shops and rooms for meetings that can house a large amount of people. The architecture is divine, especially the third floor's balcony. Many different events could be held here, large or small, and it's conveniently surrounded by hotels and has its own hotel in-house. However, just a ten minute drive away, you can find yourself in a very bad part of town without warning. However, this is a feature of the whole city of Baltimore, and I won't put the Convention Center at fault for that. There are escalators and elevators and stairs, so every individual has an opportunity to traverse the Center effortlessly.
Richard Lawwill
The American towman expo was awesome!! Huge convention center, The largest i've ever been to.
Lorenxo Dow II
Very nice building
Joseph Davis
Tha center is very nice! Finding parking was not easy! Sorry I meant to say parking for a van was not easy! I was at the Baltimore Antique Show!
High Roller
The con center has been a wonderful place to hang every year. Sad that my favorite con is ended
Rip bronycon.
Ripul Ghosh
A well organised place for conducting conferences, exhibition and demos. Very near to Inner Harbour and other popular places such as WTC Baltimore, Fells points and museum.
Gerson Gomez
My first Comic Con, it was fun.
Amy Wilson
The inside and the it side are beautiful. A lot of nautical artwork and displays. Fountains. The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired.
Daniel Mathis
I was there for the NFMT Conference. Very nice convention center! Well maintained and up kept. Numerous conference rooms and very large exhibit hall. Has a Starbucks cafe inside. Lots of lobby seating. The architecture is nice with lots of windows and open spaces.
S Bee
Went for COVID-19 testing. Accessible, fantastic staff. Signs showing where to go. Staff giving clear instruction. Bathrooms are portapotties and some are wheelchair accessible. No written instructions and staff won't remove masks, so bring an interpreter if you can't hear or have Google Live Transcribe ready. Bring a walker if you can't stand in line for long. Expect to be at least an hour, but the line moves quickly.
Zero parking. It costs a fortune to park in the garages nearby, and street parking is rare in the area, so get dropped off if you can.
KunSun Sweeley (KSweeley)
The Baltimore Convention Center is in desperate need of an expansion and total renovation. It has lost its largest event held annually (Otakon) which bought in approximately $50 million in estimated direct economic impact to Baltimore City to Washington DC.
Kris & Julie Traut
Great venue for Orioles Fanfest. More food and beverage options needed for people who have good sensitivities.
el trigo
Best convention center ever!!!
Virgil Rodriguez
Being with family doing something you love is the best thing, that is what builds memories and makes a person happy. Thank you, Chris😊❤😊👍👍👍 …
Michael Tindall
Dated Building, but nicely accommodated a Teenage VolleyBall Tourney!!
Julie Tauber
We went for alien con and had a fantastic time. The only issue is parking. Finding it and cost is outrageous.
William James
Excellent Crab Cake sandwich for those of us by Midwest standards. Service is ok but Covid has been brutal to everything.
Lloyd Marshall
The convention center is very clean I'll stand he was very friendly I give them a five star
Eva
I think for a hotel such as this one, breakfast should atleast be included. I was quite difficult paying that much and having to pay separately for breakfast.
sonicdude558 retired
One of the best convention centers I've seen so far. (Went here for BronyCon)
The con center is nice and big, roughly the size of a football field. It's sometimes tiring to walk through the whole place... The con center is very clean and well maintained, even in all the smaller rooms. The way the con is maintained depends on the event though. The con center is also very well laid out even for how big it is and it is very accommodating for even the biggest events. Security and staff were decent, but I didn't have to deal with them very much. The only thing I could say wrong is that the Air Conditioning is very cold in the summer time. Regardless the con center is great and I always look forward coming back every year.
Lonnie Love69
Great place for conventions! I go there regularly for rare coin shows.
BRYAN JOHNSTON
Big convention center older however well maintained. Very clean and safe, it’s in a good location to access hotels and restaurants.
Daniel Fetchak
Worked Natural Products Expo East this year at the convention center. This place is huge! I loved the outside atrium area.
Check it my picture of me holding Patch natural Eco-friendly compostable bandages made from bamboo. They let me wear the panda head to show off my to my wife!
P Sandlin
Attending MESC2017. Very nice facility. Appears to be well managed. Despite a rather large conference, the food was passable to good which frankly is a high endorsement. The staff are courteous and very helpful.
The one negative is more a matter of personal taste and may be a conference organizers choice and not in the control of the convention center. I like crab but seemed like crab meat was added to a lot of the food. Too much. Crab in my eggs was not a great combo.
Adam Roper
Came here for a professional convention and expo. The place is clean and spacious.
Andrew Stube
My how it has grown. Food courts and coffee are inside. Staff seems to be good inside. Competition venue was well. Parking although pricey across the street was expensive but cheaper than Manhattan and well lit. Restroom facilities were clean. Good Venue
Sylvia Denson
The Baltimore Convention Center is huge and some of the rooms were too cold. Great space other than the too much AC.
Steve Rath
At the ICML 2022 conference. Nice accommodations.
Shahreen H
The windows by the entrance were so clean that my dad walked directly into them, bashing his head quite hard, causing like 20 attendees to stare at him with concern and disbelief. Shout out to whoever cleans them, clearly you're doing amazing.
HEONYOUNG KIM
I've been there for a large conference. The place is clean. It is easy to reach there via the light rail in Baltimore from the airport.
Monty Wright
Very cool place for events like tattoo conventions
Paul Krzych
Attended the American Craft Show at the Baltimore Convention Center. Huge, spacious venue with talented artisans. Great space! Pictured is Eli Arenas jewelry. One of a kind!
Everett J. Smith
The Voice Auditions were the best experience of my singing career yet
Yary Dejesus
I loved ❤️ 😍 …
Richard Polanco
A very fantastic tow show with so many differen veneers
Ross Causey
Very very large Convention Center. Parking can maybe be a pain so arrange for that in advance or arrive early. Otherwise a great Convention Center.
Patrick Galland
Doesn't even have drinking fountains available so you have to buy bottled water
Geoffrey Hart
Not quite sure how one is to evaluate a convention center - especially as an attendant at an event. Should comment on the event or just the convention center? I am choosing to focus on the latter. As a convention center, the Baltimore Convention Center is a true gem for Charm City. It is large with plenty of ways in and out. The halls are clean. Staff feel friendly and courteous. I look forward to events at the Baltimore Convention Center. No hesitation attending at all and I look forward to the next one.
Andrea Mack
APCO conference was great , learned alot ,met alot of new people
rajesh sharma
Very nice convention center, quite spacious also
Khairul Alam Siddiqi
Beautiful venue, but very big. So need to walk a lot; poor elevator service!
Kimberly Barsy Robey
Nice to see they were doing COVID tests and checking vaccination cards. The hour and a half long line was excessive so hopefully they will work on improving the process to get you in. Great turnout and love seeing the costumes. Would like for some of the "ladies" to keep in mind that young children attend these events so try to keep your rear end covered.
Blue Monster
Baltimore comic con is amazing if you want to go to a great comic con come to this one
Tech Help Portal
Barley anythig. Here boring parkings a nightmare 60 min drive
Freddie Hernandez
Great show!!! Entry could've been more streamlined 1 to 1-1/2 hour line outside to get to the door, but overall a pleasant time. Everyone was friendly on the line. Once I side, it was smooth. Not too crowded.
Tony W
I went to my daughter's valleyball tournament here. The place is very big. The bathrooms were clean. They offer some choices of fast food onsite. The taste is just average and a little pricey but if you want better food, you can always go out and there are many choices within walking distance. There are many parkings in the garages nearby. I paid $11 for 9 hours, which is cheaper than I thought. It's only 0.3 miles from the convention center so very convenient.
João Couto
Came for COVID-19 test, more organized is impossible. Since you get here, you just sit for 30 seconds for your test. Amaizing.
Ps. My result was negative:-) let’s keep safe 😷 …
Nicholaus
So many events were happening simultaneously here yet it was still easy to navigate. The roof top garden area provides for some great scenery.
Patricia Ross
Thanksgiving Dinner provide my Goodwill at Baltimore Convention Center was serviced to community.
Valerie Ferguson
I met my sister here in person for the first time in Our life she was at a Funeral Convention.
Menachem Goldstein
The rooms were great, clean, and lit well, and the staff was nice. Great place for conventions!
Stephanie Lorraine
Food and drink are pricey as expected, but otherwise a good experience.
Travis Zeeler
This place is bigger than it looks. We were there for a gymnastics competition and it was very professional. Well equipped and it flowed smoothly. Concessions are ridiculously expensive and parking can be tricky and pricey.
Nat W
Good clean versatile place to visit a convention or event. The food should be cheaper but is good for a public space. Wish it was easier /cheaper to park near by but hey it's the city.
Fawzi Babtain
The amenities were well organized, and the services provided while visiting for a conference were well taken care off.
I didn't like the idea of attending the conference in Baltimore
Robert F Jr.
Fast moving lines and sharp individuals working the stands
Joshua Garman
MANTS was held here at this huge building, lots of room for big shows
Manish Sahi
Very confused staff. Facility is good. Bit old.
Amana Choudhri
Great location surrounded by many hotels. Convention center is huge but all areas are easily accessible.
Amarjeet Tandur
This centre is equipped with many facilities. The design & art here beautiful
Andrea Sloan
I was here for a cheer competition and enjoyed the venue. It was very clean and easy to navigate. The waterfall was a beautiful addition to the pictures we were taking.
Jimmie Presgraves
Very clean, easy to get around, and friendly staff.
Vonzella Parker
I love working here; I get to meet so many different people 😇 …
Rich Atwood
Best place to come down Thanksgiving dinner with lots of help
Veronica Valadares
Is very big, clean and it have a really good acoustic in the presentation rooms. A beautiful building
Irshadul Haq
Great facilities. Clean, well maintained and organized.
Had a great time at the annual ICNA conference.
Kizzy Hill
What day for tattoo convention and I had a wonderful time can't wait till they come back next year
Rusty Carr
It's a convention center. Parked at Sheraton. Easy in and out. $$$$
Ngo Dicoum Kon
Very nice place. I appreciate and will recommand the place to everyone.
Alex Jain
The little park that’s beside the convention center is very nice. Clean and properly lighted even at night and it makes one feel very safe. Good convention center and properly and adequately ventilated. Good decent concession stands with decent choice available. Even with the ridiculous heat it still feels good inside the convention center.
Ceara Sturdivant
I work at Convention Center in Culinary its my passion love it!!!!
Dhru Beeharilal
It's a challenge dealing with events of this magnitude in COVID times, and the Baltimore convention center did a pretty good job overall. My only complaint is that they could have streamlined the process a bit by having people pre- register with their vaccination cards and/or submitting the negative COVID tests before entering. That way the number of people waiting in line to verify would be significantly reduced, and people could get inside faster and enjoy the show.
It's a massive undertaking to put on an event like this though so I'm not super upset. They did a good job and they can learn from it and do better next time.
Anthony Stubbs
I HAD A BLAST AT THE VOICE AUDITIONS!! I UNFORTUNATELY DIDN'T GET A CALLBACK BUT THATS FINE, CUZ ILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR AND THE YEAR AFTER THAT!!
nellie hancock
Had a great time and felt safe
William Stokes
The Baltimore Convention Center has a convenient location near public transportation (Camden MARC and Light Rail) and is able to meet pretty much any group's needs insofar as space. When I visited, the Whitman Coin Show and an Anthropology convention were being hosted simultaneously. You could even dine on site but with Inner Harbor and many other prize areas nearby, why? Bring cash to spend and a healthy apatite!
Harland Abraham
I've always enjoyed coming to events here, but why build a convention center with no public parking at the site? This is so inconvenient and ridiculous. Very poor planning.
Jay Pipaliya
Great place to host the FBLA/PBL Nationals !
Desiree Caldwell
I love the convention center and everyone who is working there right now in the Covid unit has my appreciation. I was admitted there in December when I got Covid and my pulse ox dropped to 81. Maybe I’m biased because my wife works there as an EMT, but I think it’s a very well run facility and I received excellent care when I was admitted there. Thank you all for what you do!
Candy Jimenez
Always love coming there. Been going there since I was a kid. Its Beautiful as always and peaceful as well. Always very clean and in order. A little disappointed this year due to the covid I'm guessing. So many things are missing. One of my favorite things missing that really really really disappointed me was no dolphins. They hav enough space to stretch out people. But many go to see the dolphins at the end followed by the gift shop which is in the lobby now with not even half the things in the original gift shop. (They could have offered a smaller fee to get in due to all that was missing) 😔
niranjan kathe
Nice venue for conference. Lot of art pieces in there as well
Rhonda Long
Went to 👽 con. Big turn out. Enjoyed the conferences. A lot of TV personalitys from the Science Channel. Learned a lot. …
William Marcus
Auto show was a very good event.plenty of open space. cars were set up so people can see the exterior and interior of them. Specialty cars were set up so u could get a great view of it all around. Worth the price of admission. will go again next year
Rob Herion
Went to the Craft Show here and found it to have a fine layout with plenty of aisle room and easy navigation. They have a large area for concession where you can have something to eat or just take a load off. What I liked best was the temperature - very comfortable with a jacket on or off. Another nice feature is how centrally located it is. Easily walked to and from many downtown hotels and sights.
Tracey G
I've come here for different events and had a great time and new experience with each one. Staff are usually helpful with directing you to the right areas. Restrooms are pretty clean for the high amount of traffic they get. The events held here vary and there's something for everyone.
Alberto Mendez
This place is really comfortable and big.
Harmony Essence
It was a great experience, they were accommodating to our convention.
Sagnik Banerjee
A huge place that can accommodate over 4k people.
John Zisa
The DC car show has a lot more cars but this was very convenient and it was a cold day so I was happy to be warm inside
COREY WALTERS
For one I work here and the people are very kind. They have events for all types of people here. The Convention Center is located around shopping and eating establishments.
Terrence Chan
Solid convention centre with plenty of space, be sure to look at the map of the convention you are attending, there are multiple adjacent interconnected buildings.
Charles Acree
It has a very convenient floor plan. Nicely decorated and helpful and polite staff. Better signage could be posted to provide directions for events and labeling of the closest entrance. I was between two entrances, but could not see a sign that would have directed me to the entrances by the name that was listed for the event. So I had an opportunity to increase my step count for the day which was a plus.
Surdeep and Amit Kulkarni
This place is huge. However, doe not have many restaurants or cafe's inside. So eating if you are at a conference or a tournaments means limited menu, mostly fried food! Not many options. You will need to get out of the convention center to eat something healthy. The convention center is big, so going out to eat is a bit of a hike.
cueva93
Came here for the tattoo convention. The location was easily accessible, but I would highly recommend taking a ride sharing service as parking is either very limited or requires payment and there is a good bit of traffic. That being said the layout makes a lot of sense so you wont get lost very easily.
Sifat Sultana
Big and convenient, clean restroom 🚻 facilities …
Bridget Corry Morse
3 day international convention in July. Lots of hotels close and places to eat. Inside has nice meeting places, nice wide hallways for gathering and signage. Nice staff. Very clean. Starbucks inside.
Would like more food choices in the market place. No gluten free substitutions. A food concession upstairs would be great.
Samuel McClary
Had a pretty nice time at comic con
Eli Galloway
Great venue space and central location to everything. Lots of hotels and restaurants within walking distance. Enough space to host about anything. Clean and very well maintained building that keeps there heat on for a comfortable cold weather venue. A Starbucks is located inside for easy access during your stay....
laleethia nelson
Really enjoyed the Event for CIAA
BmoresBest
This place is super clean and very large. The only downfall is how large it is and inside can be a bit confusing. This place does perfect for a variety of conventions from car shows to alarm conventions. This place has tricky parking and it is hard to find parking spaces under 15 dollars on a normal day. The good inside is way to expensive when opened and people should bring outside good in to eat instead of eating inside.
jillian gilroy
Had a great working experience at this Convention Center.
Great staff who was very friendly and helpful with navigating.
Has it's own area to sit to order food, eat, and also near the stage to listen to presentations.
Parking is a bit tricky, you will have to walk if you're there for a Convention. There's tons of parking garages near the Convention Center but they are about a block or more away depending on which one you park at.
Geraldine Brown
The Department of defense held a three day event it was really nice a display in the lobby
Alyssa Young
Went here for the oddities expo and it was an okay event.
Omodaramola Oni
Was here for the Baltimore ComicCon. Had a swell time.
D M
It was a great Health Fair unfortunately some businesses never came or left prematurely. We stayed from 10 am till almost 3 and it was disappointing some businesses were reluctant to say anything. But it could have been better bathrooms were dirty and had no toilet paper I sat in urine once. They need more help keeping the restroom clean and for it being the health fair the only food was sandwiches and pizza pizza needs to be more healthier food options like vegetables and fruits. There were no real salads fruit choices at all. I think they offered one salad with lunch meat...
Charlene Corruthers
I was there for the home improvement show. It is nice and clean. It's a beautiful facility. The staff needs some customer service training. Showing disdain towards their employment and coworkers should not be revealed during a greeting.
Hannah Degn
Helped put on a show here. Great views from the Hilton side of the stadium!
Kirk Rose, Jr
Was here for a cheer competition. Layout and directions were horribly marked. Prices were absurd compared to other convention centers we've been to for our competitions. They could also do a better job of removing the beggars from out front. Rooms were a nice size though, and pretty clean considering all of the people in attendance.
SARA WISE
I went to the Baltimore convention center for my first tattoo convention and I am so happy that I went. I did not get tattooed but I did find a lot of tattoo parlors that I want to check out real soon.
Sandy Koonge
Always a pleasure to visit a convention here! The space is grand and amazing.
Oscar DeNessuno
Awesome venue! I attended the Baltimore Comic-Con here and was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to get to from the light rail. I also love all the Lime scooters hanging around the center in case you want to zoom around downtown to grab a bite somewhere near by (lots of places to choose from).
Mercedez Davidson
Great experience with the New York head start policy council. Lots of great sessions with wonderful things to learn.
Peter Moon
Came here to get my vaccine! Very organized and efficient, the line was long but moved consistently and I was done in about an hour (from leaving home about 10 min away to getting back). Highly recommend pre checkin as it will speed up the process significantly. Be prepared to wait for 15 minutes after you get the shot, 30 min if you have certain allergies.

The Baltimore Convention Center has a lot of space for big events. I was there for a work-related convention for three days. They have excellent facilities, dependable staff. The Security was very strict with ID checks if you get there too early. I liked it because this surely meant they were committed to everyone c

One of the better convention centers. Their map does make it look like all of the halls are right next to one another, which they are not. The smaller halls are on the other side of the building from the main hall. Plenty of room for any gathering of people! The facilities were clean and plenty of security to make you feel safe in a downtown environment. It is a very interesting building architecturally, which reminded me of the glass portion of the Louvre. It was the perfect setup for an educational competition (FBLA Nationals) in that it had smaller meeting rooms off the main entrance that provided a quieter atmosphere while being able to accommodate all of the waiting competitors. Would recommend!

Went to get COVID testing. I went around 3:15pm. It wasn't crowded. The staff was nice and helpful. We did a walk in. The whole thing from check in to testing took about 35 minutes. And that was only because my 4 kids were getting tested too.
Nordic Paws Productions
It is a very beautiful building for an anime type convention.. Has a nice fountain and outdoor terrace. Occasionally, you might get a staff with a bad attitude and the food is not all that well as it's also expensive but that is to be somewhat expected.. This is still a very nice convention center. I hope to see it again and again for more conventions.
Sippin_N _Snacks
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The convention center team is always available to direct you to the different events. We had fresh coffee, tea, water and snacks for our class. We had a lovely time. Very nice facility.

Big. Overall empty, but clean. Covid safe. All doors locked for safety. Was difficult to figure where the entrance was.
Sophia
It's a very nice place
Fish
Super nice convention center. Very clean with multiple restrooms (including gender neutral ones), drinking fountains, food services including Starbucks, and plenty of seating. The building itself is very nice with a rooftop garden overlooking the city.
Phillip
The staff are the friendliest I have EVER seen. Not just the event staff for BronyCon, but the convention center staff as well. They are so welcoming and friendly. I also liked the design of the place; it's very roomy even with large crowds, and everything is up kept and pretty.
Angel Mae Kondelis Johnson
Testing for Covid was quick...even without an appointment.. I had an appt and was done before my appointment time even arrived. For those who so not have valid ID.. the convention center will still test you. Unlike some other places.. and you don't have to be in a car to get tested like CVS sites!!
Eric Lam
Pretty typical convention center. It's nice and doesnt look bad. Has all the typical amenities and is clean. I personally do not see anything wrong with it but the city wants to remodel it. I think the convention floor space is huge and gets the job done. Really no complaints from me other than parking can be difficult at times but that's really any city business. Some good events to check our are the Baltimore Health Expo, Auto Show and O's Fan Fest.
Kara Clark
The convention center is pretty large. I went for the bridal show, however there was no guidances of where everything was, I'm not sure if the center supposed to provide it or not, but I felt lost being in there and it's felt empty. The space was clean and I could see a large event taking there. If it's a smaller, I would suggest another place. Other wise your walking down to the basement level events. As I was riding down the escalator it stop mid way down. Pretty scary but things happen.so overall it was okay. I would return for a bigger event

You can find many business opportunities there.

So delicious & great service!

Wish there are more food vendor options

Very difficult to get into and out of parking lot. Room was comfortable and clean. Shower pressure was weak.
Mithun Hossain
Huge, spacious space..Saw a auto show here..be aware of parking lots nearby, they will rip you off..Parked here on a Saturday to go see the auto show for 3 hours and paid $35.00, this one parking lot is a paid lot right behind the Sheraton and is right across the side entrance. The lack of parking is why I deducted a star.
Matt G
Nice layout and convenient to Inner Harbor and dining. They had snack bars inside too which was nice for attendees to grab a quick bite without leaving the building. Clean facility with helpful staff.
April
Went for a Cheer competition, clean, organizated staff, awesome food accommodations. Seating was awkward but comfortable, rows of set up metal with cushion chairs. Waterfall/Sprinkler to look at. Lots of plants(whether real or fake, I didn't get to close to notice). Bathrooms in multiple spots and clean-staff kept up with them. My overall staring is for the cleanliness, appearance and size.
Anthony Maurice
Very nice convention center with large comfortable presentation rooms. The atrium features a large 2 story vestibule lined with glass, and makes for a nice introduction to the building. Acoustics are nice, and the rooms are well padded so that loud clapping from adjourning rooms are only slightly audible through the modular partitions. Starbucks adds a nice caffeine fix to help deal with less than thrilling presentations.
Roy Tillery
This was a very nice convention place. It's sort of bittersweet for me because I came here for the last BronyCon convention. It shows a lot of history about some of the ships including the constellation. I recommend coming here at least once if you have the time
Jaime Lancaster
Lots of parking all around, so only a few blocks to walk. The staff came across with a professional and friendly attitude, and were extremely helpful in pointing me to the areas I was looking for but getting lost in finding. The inside restaurants are great for those who do not feeling like venturing outside into Baltimore itself. Close to the Inner Harbor and easy, close access to entering and exiting the city itself, being right off Route 95.
Reese Jones
Great venue with close proximity to MARC trains and buses. Staff was friendly but they were not helpful with directions within their own facility. I needed to register for the event and staff directed me to 3 different locations. Only on the third stop was there a registration station.
Brandon G
Cool events there but the facility is really outdated. My fiance and I, as well as about 100 other people, sat on the ground by the concessions area during Comicon. You can't be having guest eating on the floor. You try feeding 4 kids dressed as super heroes without a table or chair to set stuff on. Shout out to all the super moms I saw handling it like pros.
Black Opium
Amazing Show, the biggest Tow Truck show we attended so far (GHOST TOWING)
misty west
So many talented artists from EVERYWHERE were there. We got some nice work done from a couple different artists and we got some really good prices as well.
scott loving
Not much to complain about. The building is very large and can sometimes be a little confusing. But otherwise no complaints every time I've been here. And realistically you're not coming for the building you're coming for whatever event you paid to see.
Billy Fenyes
I've been here for a number of conventions and have always found it easy to navigate inside. It's right downtown, so getting to it is pretty easy. Parking is 50/50 depending on how much you want to spend (reason for removing a star) but they have a light rail stop so close it's called convention center. Lots of restaurant options around and an attached hotel if you don't even want to bother going outside.
Marty Cagas
Well distributed, spacious area able to host many events and panels at the same time for a single convention.
The centre is completely accessible for people with disabilities.
The centre also features a plethora of built inside shops allowing vendors to sell food, beverages and other goods directly inside the centre without needing the attendees to step outside.
Toilets are plenty across the entire centre and easily accessible at any point.
Design- and architecture-wise, the centre is a sight to behold. Astonishing both with its size and it looks, the centre is a jewel of Baltimore and the highlight of the tourist-focused harbor area. While Baltimore had been ranked among the top 20 most dangerous cities, the harbor area is largely safe to explore and enjoy. The harbor area also houses many restaurants and shops, giving any convention attendees the chance to quickly run off to buy some food or eat out.
Alexander Michaels
Went to get my covid-19 shot, they were extremely organized and they do their best to get you in and out quickly. I wasn't even in the line very long as they were extremely proficient with maintaining order.
Bill Stabnow
An extremely efficient layout for getting COVID-19 vaccination. Ignore arrival time as you stand in line, anyway. The monstrous line moves extremely fast once they open for the day. Sheraton outdoor parking on Conway costs $35 for under two hours.
Avery Krouse
We visited the Baltimore Convention Center for an auto show and had a great time. The convention center is large but seems amply equipped to host events like this. They had several snack bar style options ranging Beyond just the standard popcorn and hot dog Fair, though we didn't sample any of those.
Faith Ebersole
Nice facility. Clean and open. Went for comic con. Easy to get to from.the light rail since it stops right at it
Less than $4 for a round trip from Glen Burnie/Cromwell, free parking.
Judd West
The venue is vast, and mostly clean, but the escalators from 100 to level 200 are busted. They clank and jerk a lot, and look like they haven't been serviced in years. The elevators for that are were broken down, too, impacting accessibility heavily.
The rooms are adequately air conditioned, but the WiFi service is extremely poor, resulting in outages when many convention attendees try to connect to them at the same time.
Abdukhamid Nabiyev
These are pictures for pick up and delivery loads from there

I go here every single year for a My little pony event called Bronycon. I love love love the con! Its always such a blast! The convention center is huge and beautiful! Easily accessible and the staff is truly phenomenal! I love this place its a little slice of heaven!!! If you get the chance to go here I totally recomend doing so!!!
Arica Guthrie
Love shows that were held here in the past. It houses a well run COVID-19 testing center now 5 days a week. Highly recommend testing here if you work or live nearby.
Kevin B. Leigh
Filthy bathrooms and escalators that didn’t work

The staff there is great the place is huge
72ocutter
We came here for a landscape convention and I was totally blown away by the size of this place. I was in heaven, lol. The facility was clean, well managed and organized. I wished we had more time to sample more local places during our visit but overall it was a nice time.
Jim VanDyke
Facility is great but I only gave it three stars due to the difficulty of parking. If you are staying at a nearby hotel then you probably are all set. If you live or work nearby parking your vehicle is a problem. The building is spacious and in good shape.
cynthia husband
I was there for a Scentsy World Tour event. The place is huge!! It has multiple floors. There isn't a specific parkade to use, but it costs a lot to park. We paid $42 for the day. But inside they have a bunch of ships and there description and where they're from and what they were used for. That was pretty cool. They also have giant pictures on the walls that are angled, they were very interesting to look at and read. There are tables and comfortable chairs you can sit in a small group and eat your meal or just take a rest and have a snack. The tables are set up on 2 of the 3 floors we were on. If you plan on buying food and drinks there they are very expensive, for 2-16 oz bottles of water and 1 small bottle of Gatorade it was almost $14.00
Ellen Cattle
Received my first COVID-19 vaccine here, and was truly astonished at how well the mass vaccination center functioned. The line moved very quickly, and I felt safe every step of the way with all of the guidelines they have in place.
Kata Crea
This is a great place for smaller and midsize conventions. The layout is easy to navigate through and there are plenty of restrooms. They got all sizes of rooms including a big Ballroom and Exhibitor hall. Plenty of open space and seating areas makes it feel less crowded. The food stations and vendors are just OK and you will be better off walking outside to one of the food trucks.
aiyana poe
I have been twice now and am still amazed by how big this place really is. I went for a college fair once and it covered only half of what Mid-atlantic Nursery Trade Show used of the space. The convention center is huge and is quite exhausting to cover everything. They offer food at a couple places like sandwiches and coffees. There are other stores and restuants near the convention center that a a little busy but if you have a reservation it is great.
Robert Ordóñez
Good signage in general, and fairly easy to navigate. Friendly staff overall. Bathrooms are mostly easy to find. Layout is a little weird, with a good but if walking between stairs for various levels, but there are escalators and elevators all over the buildings.
The only challenge I ran into was when I asked two security staff there whether the "hotel" sign on the west side of the building was for the Sheraton, and both said that it was. I then spent nearly ten minutes walking to the hotel, which turned out to be the Hilton (signage within the hotel was surprisingly lacking the hotel name, as far as I could tell). The Sheraton is on the other side, so I was 15 minutes late to the meeting I was looking for.
Brooke Zalis
I attended the Baltimore Tattoo Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center. The staff on hand were polite. The convention was held in one part of the convention center, but it seemed plenty spacious. There was lots of areas for sitting in the lobby area. The Convention Center could use a little TLC and upkeep to bring more conventions to the area, but it works. There is plenty of nearby parking options and hotel options to choose from as well. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby, since the food at the convention center is definitely a little on the pricey side.
kristian
I love going to the convention center! There are always fun events happening here all the time. They do have free events but often they do have certain events that are pretty costly to get into. However if you do go PLEASE BRING A BOOKBAG! you will get so much free stuff. Theres always free food and products so come prepared!
Lulabelle Stephens
Stayed at the Sheraton downtown was very nice. Although I asked if they had a pool and the lady told me No pool on premises when there was an indoor pool. SHAME SHAME!

Having visited several times over the years whenever the Otakon convention made home in Baltimore, the complex here is very up-to-date and well worth attending. Sprawling several floors, rooms, and outside commodities, just about any event can find great success here.
Gotta admit, though--it is incredibly easy to just walk in without paying for admittance. At least for larger conventions that attract tens of thousands.
T Paul (T)
This is one of the nicest convention centers I've been to. Absolutely humongous, with more than enough rooms to hold anything from small private meetings to mass attendances. Visually appealing architecture and lots of accommodations. Staff and security was knowledgeable and professional. The entire building including lounge areas were very clean and comfortable. Everything you need to put on a top notch event and presentation was supplied.
Wil Mil Man
Really nice older hotel! Couldn't have been happier with the accommodation's! Very quaint room, clean and comfortable! Also very quiet! Really nice view of the city too!
Would definitely recommend!
Kimberly Keyes
It's a very spacious place in a great location. (It's near the Inner Harbor with access to Harborplace, the Maryland Science Center, and the U.S.S. Constellation.) My big advice is to either bring your own food or go to Harborplace to eat your meals because the Convention Center's food tends to be overpriced.
Russ The Realtor
The Motor Trend show is getting progressively worse with each passing year.
Nyasia Perez
This place is huge. Very clean too.

My sons and I go to the annual Baltimore Comic-Con every fall. It's a highlight of our year. My boys always are dressed in their cosplays and enjoy getting tons of pictures with lots of other cosplayers in attendance. The convention center does a pretty spectacular job handling all the weirdos in attendance. The one year there was some type of fire scare and they professionally and safely got everyone out of the building, checked the building and then got everyone back inside in short order. Great work.
Ellen Ledwaba
Went there for a 3 day conference. It’s great for holding events.
Aftab Butt
Very nice and open convention center in a very nice location. My only issue is with the small size of elevators that result in long lines for parents with strollers or others needing them when there's a large crowd. Not sure why they would have so small elevators by design.
Eric Gernat
Expansive venue. Lots of well-marked restrooms around. Buying tickets was fast with cash, slower with credit cards. Drinks (soda/water) were way overpriced, but in-line with what you'd expect at a convention.
Coltrane “StarfieldSurfer” W.
Fantastic convention center, if a little dated. The elevators were a little sketchy at times, but the rest of the facility was very accommodating for BronyCon '16, and the staff was very helpful and friendly! The cafe on the third floor is surprisingly good too, though it can be a bit expensive.
Eric Morris
We went here for a home expo. It looks like a nice facility with a lot of rooms. It looked like the convention center was being occupied at about 30% capacity. There was staff around to help and direct us to where we needed to go.
I did get a little turned around when leaving and had to backtrack to find where we had parked.
Todd Hollowell
Great place to stay a place you can cheat on your wife and she won't find out
Shirley Yokley Price
The convention center was easy to get around and easy for your ride to pick you up. We found it very clean and anything that we needed from the staff we received. I would love to go back there for a convention.

The Quest Conference was Great, also the Hospitality at the Convention Center was Wonderful!!! Staff working at the Convention Center had a Lovely Spirit and they were very helpful when asking them questions!!!
I PRAY THAT THE LORD GIVE THEM GREAT BLESSING!!! STAFF KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ALL OF YOU DO!!!
HALLELUJAH!!! HALLELUJAH!!! HALLELUJAH!!!

Generally clean and temperature moderate. Staff I interacted with were friendly. Reasonable amount of restrooms available for large conferences. Located in a good area with easy access to restaurants, bars, and hotels.
Tom Dobbs
Went to the carshow, what a rip off. They didn't have near the cars they have in DC. I go to the DC show every year but decided to stay close to home not worth it.
Sheil Caldwell
Beautiful facilities in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. I was attending a trade show which was well staffed with polite and knowledgeable crew members, even in Parking. Parking was available directly under the event which was nice. Clean facilities and very accessible.
Kristina D. Allen
I usually enjoy the events that are hosted here at the convention center. There is always something happening that you can come and check out. Its best to park in a nearby parking garage and walk over. Most of the times, you will need to bring money for any vendors that are at an event. The restrooms aren't the best tho. They are tiny and don't look to be the cleanest.
Filip N
Quite ok. Even for big event.
Darian Blue
Very good city and a lot of history in the city. The Baltimore convention center is nice very well clean and comfortable and spacious and maintained with good maintenance. I enjoyed my short visit there.
Orlando Lee
A humongous place with everything planned strategically
schapa7800
I think it's 3 blocks long. Leaving the Hilton, we walked over 2 blocks before we reached the end of the convention center where our convention was held. thought the hotel was beside it, but that's only if your event is in the section nearest the Hilton. The Marriott is across the street from the Hilton. You'll want to go with others in the evening. Nice restaurants within a block and directly across the street. Traffic often backed up on the street beside the convention center. One time I was glad to be walking. Nice that you can drop off a rental car at the Hilton.
J Edward
I've been to 2 conventions here, and not had any issues. Parking is tough, you will absolutely park in an expensive garage. The venue itself is large enough for any occasion, and well kept.
Kate Allison
It's a convention center, so not much to say here. There are multiple entrances, so make sure you're clear on where you want to go. There are dining options, they're fine for a quick bite. Let's face it, you're not here unless the event you're attending is, so you're not really looking for reviews.
Steve Hazeldine
Pleasant and airy concourses with better seating than most large convention centres make for a good experience when attending events here. Location is convenient with plenty of parking located close by.
Nakul Bende
Was there for a fairly large conference - APS (~12,000 people)
THE GOOD:
- It is quite good, large rooms, clean lobbies and restroom.
- I feel there was ample room for people to mingle, chat and just lounge around in a professional setting.
- Great coffee and other shops for quick bites.
THE BAD:
- The only issue I had was that navigation could be challenging and not intuitive at first.
THE UGLY:
-Nothing!
Drew Cameron
Cool building next to Camden Yards. As convention centers go, it's nice that it's not too overwhelming. There a light rail stop across the street, so it's convenient to access directly from the airport and, of course, there are a bunch of hotels nearby. Also, it's only a short walk to Inner Harbor.
ARUSHA ACHARYYA
I went to attend Biophysical society annual meeting. The convention center is well maintained, spacious conference rooms. The location is convenient, at the heart of downtown with food places nearby. A good place to arrange for big meetings or conferences.
Tim Gilbert
If you have an early meeting or event, get your coffee before you arrive. The Starbucks inside doesn't open until 7AM !?! Not sure why that's the case with some meetings starting at the same time.
Overall the facility is an average convention center, better than some (Cleveland) and not matching others (Nashville).
Ernest Childs
This convention center was ok. The options for a quick snack, or to mail a package quickly, or to do anything quickly are pretty much off the table. However, it got the job done and I enjoyed my time at this venue.
Matt Smigal
Massive. The complex sprawls on and on. I did note though that although I walked a long way through wide walkways, I didn't see much in the way of rooms. It just seemed like a very long/wide hallway. It was very nice though that you could walk between buildings and even a hotel without ever being outside, thanks to enclosed walk bridges.
Some of Many
Pretty good overall. It had a decent ambiance to it; well decorated, good paneling areas and a nice general "feel".
On the downside, with a few thousand people on the upper floor, the main walkways were almost impassible especially for cosplayers. The food was fairly well made and tasted fine, but at convention prices it was far better to take a walk to the harbor and get a real meal.
Parking in the area was either expensive or in some bad areas, not that that's the Center's fault.
I would recommend it for both business conventions and "real" conventions for things that are actually fun.
Can't wait for BronyCon 2015.
Dan Betz
This facility was giant, and the staff was very helpful. A lot of people at a recent conference were chilly on the first day, but the staff raised the temperature for us the following days. For such a large facility there is insufficient food/snacks/coffee available, so be prepared to wait in line at the few restaurants in the area for lunch.
Erin S (MushiSenpai)
It's a Wendy's in Pasadena, you get what you pay for. When I was in line a woman in front of me mentioned how it stank like s**t which I thought was hilarious. I couldn't smell it because I had a facemask on as I was I'll. A fat girl and some guy were laughing at me I think while sitting inside of a glass room with a computer. Either way they weren't working and it looked like they were joking around taking photos. Who knows. I only go inside when the line is extremely long and I'm desperate for a meal. Wouldn't reccomend. Food was the quality you would expect from a Wendy's so that was good.

Scheduled an appointment for the COVID Test (online), they only test on Wednesdays and Fridays. Showed up to the testing site, was told to show my ID, they instructed me to register for MyPortal account so results could be received. I was in and out of the testing within 10 minutes total (I was lucky that day). Results came in the next day even though I was told about 3 days or so (varies for everyone though). There was some discomfort since they stick the brush all the way into the nose but I tolerated it. Overall, quick and easy!
Joe Trotta
Great space for a convention! People are very helpful here (and don't judge you, even if you're there for a BronyCon or similar 😉). I sort of wish that some areas of the center were more easily navigable, but that's a super minor complaint. …
Carla Smalley
Poorly kempt bathrooms and meeting rooms! After the first session you were sent looking for water and the vending machines didn't work! The only place left was their coffee shop or the Starbucks that was not always open. The escalator was broken and the convention center staff were not friendly when asked for help...to fine water. The meeting room temperatures most of the time were scorching hot!
John
Went to ai drone racing, very informative

I'm an IT contractor for convention centers. The projection in house staff is solid. The networking has been aolid, no problems there. It has a Starbucks in it but the one accross the street is better. As far as a meeting space it is designed well and can accommodate most large groups.
Rafael Otero De Santiago
I've been here multiple time for different conventions and I always have a good time.
Ashley
Want to a place where every other week something new is happening. This is the location during the summer it's a none stop of conventions you never know what your going to find or who you might meet.
If you want a place where it's always something new via large greyhound like buses dropping off people. This is the only place in Baltimore to find that
Tonya Oliver
Went to see the car show that comes to Baltimore. It was very nicely organized, not too crowded and the prices were not high. The toys sold were outrageous prices, $30.00 for a small toy car or 3 for $50.00, I do not recommend that for parents unless you are okay with those prices.
Hillary Lum
I like this conference center better than most. Location is excellent. Several close hotels, restaurants, the harbor, and light rail. The Starbucks does have limited hours.
truelyfe2
They always have different nice events here. One of the last ones was comicon and also a college fair I attended. This place is big enough for many different events or rentals if interested.
Utkarsh Doshi
I never liked the design of the center. It is spacious and can host several events at once, however it's very confusing to find rooms within the center. Love the location as it is close to harbor and several good restaurants within walking distance
Renee Badeau
It's was a wonderful place to go hanging out with all of the woman who heart is frie up for God they had different places u can go down in the Baltimore Convention were u can have someone test your blood to 👀 if you don't have anything in your body but I went there to leaning about having a better relationship with the god in my life so I can see song you show others about his love the things he had done for me in my life great place to go to Women's Conference women who loves the Lord and willing to teach you to stay strong in the Lord and always believing that he can make everything write for your life. I had amazing time there learning a lot about what kind of woman God wants me to be as his daughter I was truly blessed learning about being the woman I should be for others faith in me.

Great convention center. Bummed Expo East is moving away.

Went to AlienCon so much fun met Giorgio! !👽👽 …

Very nice and organized. Modern facility with well organization. A little bit overcrowded but it's location in the largest city of Maryland on Pratt street is a great assett to the city and community. Love it!
Kristi McBride
I enjoyed that the Hilton was connected. The center has a ton of light and meeting rooms. Ceilings in the ballroom were odd but seemed able to manage hanging signs.
Lawrence Obern
Went to get my wife Covid Vaccination. Line moved fast. Spent a total of 1.5 hours, and they were only letting 100 people inside at a time.

Although Baltimore is starting to lose ground to neighboring cities, resulting in fewer national and more local/regional shows compared to its heydays (the early 1980s and the late 1990s/early 2000s), the Baltimore Convention Center remains a fine facility. It has a great location with hotels surrounding it on nearly every direction, the Inner Harbor just to its east, and Camden Yards just to its west. There are plans to overhaul it again by expanding down to where the Sheraton hotel is, and if Baltimore had better civic leadership, would likely go through in no time. I've frequently attended the Whitman Coin & Currency Expo here, and it's easy to find and work my way around. So while DC, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and of course NYC will glad all the headlining shows, Baltimore remains a solid choice for exhibiting and attending.
Mally Mall
Went to get COVID-19 Testing. Very organized, and EVERYONE was on their Chick-Fil-A Customer Service like best (and that's a compliment because NO ONE beats CFA on customer service). If you are going for testing, go as early as you possible to get in & out.
Russ Widger
These guys did an excellent job with the Expo East. One problem, bathrooms we're gross, and the staff was too easily overwhelmed. They had lots of time to stand around talking while the bathrooms reminded me of a gas station.
Ryan Range
Navigating the building can take a while, and most trips took several escalator trips. The facilities were clean and spacious, though, and I appreciated the natural lighting and outdoor tables.
John Corker
I always have a good time at the Baltimore Comic Con, however I was a little disappointed with the amount of cancellations from all the artist and writers .
Raúl Colón Scarano
Great location, very close to good restaurants and hotels (two hotels are even accessible through birdges, so you don't even having to go down to street levels: Hilton and Sheraton).
And if you're a coffee nut, there's even a Starbucks inside. No need to leave the place to get your fix!
Lauren Conrad
This place is huge! Get a map of where your event is so you can find the breakout rooms. Very easy to spot in traffic, or just avoid traffic by taking the lightrail, which has a stop right across the intersection.
Kimberly Martin
beautiful, clean, pleasant staff giving directions although use of cell phones was annoying. Consistent comfortable room temperature was a welcome surprise. Great PA system

I came to the BCC for several of the Otakon convention event. I remember coming the first few years and enjoying the event.
Sadly the convention did outgrow the area and while they were willing to get other spaces it just got too small. It also seemed like they never went into doing the upgrades to the place that were talked about.
The last couple of years were a bit rough and it might ot have been the Baltimore Convention Center's fault but the facilities around it, especially the Hilton hotel connected to it. It seemed like the owners of the place told Otakon about what they were planning to do and never went though with it. So it has been 3 years since Otakon left and I do miss the place.
they were able to keep it clean and they were keen on keeping an eye o people who did not belong there. The bathrooms were kept up and the rash was never over flowing. They also used to have places where you could get water and with hot Baltimore summers it was needed. The last year was really hot and that was when you saw how bad the Airmark prices inside were. Too much for bad food.
I have found memories of this place and if you are doing something small go for it. Honestly i'm glad that Otakon moved to DC the past 3 years have been fairly nice with no real issues. I hope that they do the up dates on the place like they said they would.
Daniel Strong
Good spot, I go here once a year. Interesting atmosphere, older, but neat. Camden Yards is also close, which makes it cool also. Neighborhood can be a little rough though.
Mark S Layhee
Was here for Brony Con 2014 and 2016. Hotel prices are around an average Vegas hotel, could be a little cheaper but whatever. Convention staff is friendly, security is good and parking is super easy. If you're in a hotel up further north, just walk down and dart to the convention building.
Jennifer Kerfoot
Very good atmosphere

Highly recommend the COVID testing operation here. Really efficient. Park in the outside lot next to the Sheraton. Sometimes it’s so fast I don’t have to pay for parking!

BronyCon at the convention center was awesome. It seems like the place is really cleaned up compared to my last visit to the Baltimore Comic Con. I'm not sure if it has had work done, or if it was just a better experience by the BronyCon promoters.
Albert Cheu
spacious and modern. lots of rooms for conferences/workshops
Daniel Sclafani
The space itself is amazing, although the union workers could use a bit of an attitude adjustment. Other than that, it's great, though. Been coming here every year for five years for BronyCon
Animah Raashaan
It is small(by convention center standards) but it has a quaint and subtle charm. It is teaming with history and is centrally located between Camden yards and the Harbor in the middle of downtown. It is on my list of favorite convention centers.
Tyler Schrock
The space itself is nice but it needs more drinking fountains around - I shouldn't have to choose between the bathroom sink and $3+ vending machines.
Chris G
Home Brew Con-NHC 2016 convention center staff was nice and polite but stingey as hell with ice on club night. The venue is huge and perfect for the size event.
The Ballroom staff was kind of ridiculous. To be fair, I'm not sure if the servers were all crazy or just our table got stuck with the only lunatic on staff. The service for the Ballroom sucked and I wish I hadn't paid money for it
Brett Thorson
I like they have people at the entrances helping you find your way. Note the restaurants across the street so when you uber there you can get to the correct door. The Starbucks Inside is INCREDIBLY slow.
Dale Andrews
Come here for Baltimore Comic-Con every year and it’s a great place for any kind of convention. The multi-floor set up is a little confusing but the main convention space has plenty of bathrooms and fooderies. The Starbucks ‘kiosk’ is REALLY convenient.
Sandra Jacobs
Little confusing since we were literally directed in a complete circle trying to find the AlienCon location. But the building was very nice and we didn't have too hard a time getting around once we found our barrings.
Aladdin Lee Grant Rutledge Collar
I've been to Comic-Cons all over the country and only the Baltimore Convention Center reliably has guys selling bottles of water right outside the venue for $1. I had to pay $4.50 for a water at the Long Island Convention Center and I'm still mad about it, but the Baltimore Convention Center's chill AF. And you can walk to a Five Guys between panels.
Lyle Sutton
Attended the Motor Trend car show. The staff was friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean. Parking was conveniently close and inexpensive.
Andrew Nagelin
A large, well designed facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food was average at best.
Inner harbor location is safe and has many restaurants and shops.
Jamie DeMott
Location is great. Tons of hotels & resturaunts nearby. Easy access in & out of convention center. When your in town, def check out Power Plant. Angels Rock bar was a ton of fun!
Abhishek Sharan
It is a huge conference area. I went there to attend American Physical Society (APS) conference where there were about 10,000 attendees and it was organized pretty well. Can't complain. You can park there at nearby Hilton parking where per day it costs around 28$.
Cedrick
Really like this part of Maryland. I don't have the opportunity to visit this area often, but I like it.
What I like about the area is the variety of restaurant and choice of shops to visit. Areally nice walk to the warf, where you'll find plenty of things to do including museums. Loads of fun.
Kenny Nopens
Standard convention center, concrete building, fluorescent lights, and noise bouncing off the walls. Good place, but hard to stay in all day long. Plenty of nice places about if you can get out to visit them.
Mindy Lanie
I have been to the convention center a few times. It's a nice space, although the rooms can be cold. The food inside is nothing special, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area.
BIll Craig
We visited the Convention Center for the Car Show and it was fantastic. It's been years since I been there so it was almost like the first time for me. Spacious place with food vendors inside the showroom floor.
Thomas Riley
This is a nice convention center to visit. Multiple esculators and elevators. This convention center is easy accessible from the street. You can easily drop someone off without asking them to walk to the building.
Brian Hoffman
We went to the bmore healthy Expo it was fantastic show much great stuff the convention center was in great shape bathrooms were very clean I really enjoyed myself I look forward to doing it again next year so many things that I didn't even imagine would be there were
Qian Meng
Huge conference center. There are four floors. Ballrooms on fourth floor, conference rooms if different sizes on third floor, and halls on ground level. It has skywalks connecting with Hilton, Hyatt and Sheraton hereby. And nice location close to hotels, restaurants and the stadium.
Kim & Steve Britton
Large!! But easy to navigate & roomy enough to handle large events!!
National FBLA convention here has been exceptionally organized & surrounded by nice hotels to house guests!
Myla Carpenter
American Craft Council show, fabulous artisans. Convention staff very polite, friendly and hellpful. Excellent food and beverage options.
Thomas Sumner
The conference center has lovely architecture and is conveniently located near a half dozen hotels, the waterfront and public transit options (including light rail from the airport and Amtrak trains from Washington DC). The center is a bit oddly laid out, meaning something you'll have to hustle from one end to the other. As is the case with many conference centers, be prepared to shell out major cash for food and drinks while you're inside. If you'd prefer to take it easy on your wallet, plenty of restaurants are within a short walk.
Mark Zeller III
As a volunteer at the Baltimore Comic Con, each year the venue does a great job supporting the conventions efforts. The facility lacks food vendors around the perimeter and only features a Starbucks and vending machines.
David Beksinski
Have been here for several conventions, nice facility, the conference rooms on the top floor can get a bit warm, wish they'd turn the AC up in those rooms during big events.
Brittaney Faulkner
I love this place, o have been coming here since i was a little girl.
Jacinto Montano
Best way to get here is the light rail from airport. Get an airport hotel and take light rail to convention center. 3 plus bucks round trip. Love this convention center because of it's quirky layout and great location
Sathish Sajja
Good place to have conference
Matt S. “MSMStud” M.
Great space, powerful air conditioning, lots of restrooms, air conditioned bridge connects to hotel with ballroom which means potential for off-site-but-not-too-far cash bar.
Frenchy DDS
Arrived 20 mins early before COVID testing had started for the day. The line was already wrapped around the building to Pratt Street. I was still in and out of there in an hour. Received PCR results in 2 days. No doubt the most efficient COVID testing sight in MD
Deandra P
I like the concerts and when speakers like Joel Osteen come into town to uplift and inspire many!!
David Needham
This huge convention center is connected via skyway to the hotel, but he prepared for a long walk. There's a Starbucks inside partway between the two ends but be prepared for a long wait in line. There's also conference handed coffee shops, but they were incredibly expensive and not very good.
Kristina Peles
The convention center has always been near and dear to my heart because I go there to do excellent things. Its old and in serious need of renovations but has a lot of nostalgic value for me.
Mohammed J. Hossain
Nice Big Convention Center. Easy to get lost but you can get used to it. Near and connected to Sheraton Hotel, so you don't even have to go outside and walk back to the hotel, just use the connecting bridge.
Kyla Jackson
The place itself is ok. One of the rooms we went into felt like a dungeon. Being outside I didn’t feel safe but it’s not the problem of the convention center.
Khaldoun Alghatrif
I had a booth here during the Islamic convention event.
I am not sure if the pricing was decided by the Baltimore Convention center or the ICNA but it was really expensive.
The place is huge and well designed.
Marian Adjei-Ampomah
Bathrooms could be a little cleaner
Michael Canton
Great location. Have been to many events at this location. The facility has everything you need and is surrounded by top hotels and restaurants. You’d be hard pressed to find a location with more to see and do.
Forest Platt
Was there for Covid treatment. What a caring group of professionals. Everybody from the Security officers to the Nurses that treated were kind and helpful.
Michael Thompson
The car show was good and the convention center was clean and we'll staffed. Only complaint was with the food court workers who were rude and pushy, but the space of the building is BIG .
Luis B
A large convention center with a myriad of options for con-goers and business folk alike. Multiple main halls that can be combined and separated. Not too many dead zones save for the bottom floor but that's to be expected.
Jae B
Was an exhibitor at the American Craft Fair, was very fun. Place was clean and well-organized, though lower celings would have done us lots of favors.
Michael Apps
great experience but the food was in need of some improvement
i would have like it to have being hot or warm. but for the most part i had great time bronycon 2015. hope to go next year.
Shelia Strickland
the reason why I'm giving it at 3 because when we came from St Louis to the women's convention you was nowhere to park nobody direct you to where you needed to go we had to find everything on your own no one to explain the parking meters people are getting tickets parking garage was too expensive when people visit your home town from another city during a woman's convention please make it more convenient for us to have great parking
Germ Nor
The event was great outside you couldn't walk or move because of beggars homeless and shady people asking for money across the street establishments were great just in front of convention center was like you running a gaunlet.
Paula Lacks
Baltimore Convention Center Vaccine Site. on 3/0/2021 I was there to support for a friend for her covid vaccine. There was a long line of people. It took about 3hour to reach the vaccine station and that's with an appointment.
Richard Murphy
Been here a dozen times now. The staff is helpful and friendly, but not super abundant. The food selection is gnarly, but if you eat convention hall food that's on you.
Pat Jackson Mattucci
Very large, clean, well lit and friendly staff. This facility has all the room for any convention, ample parking, restaurants and shops nearby..
Todd Barto
Well i have just been there for comi-con and it's awesome!
Marta Berrios
Went for covid-19 testing. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. It was great! Very well organized and the people were kind!
Therese Secka Mendy
We went for the Spirit dinner cruise and it surpassed our expectations. The buffet was surprisingly very good and the time spent on the upper deck was just breathtaking.
Kim Whatley
Such an amazingly beautiful Stadium!!!!
Kelvin Boykin
Nice place to hold conventions work. Its close to a lot of places visitors would enjoy. Very close to both stadiums baseball\football inner harborhotels restaurants tourist attractions and the interstates.
Betty Johnson
My visit to the Convention Center was very pleasant. I took public transportation to avoid high parking fees. It was clean and family friendly.
Hyun Park
I have bben to at least 15 different convrntion center in us for trade shows. Baltimore is one of the least favorite convention centers. Oarking is difficult. Not enough stores to grab a drink or food during the exhibition in side of the hall. Staff are not very friendly. Not enough restaurant within a few blocks that I can take out with customers for short meetings.
Greer Chandler
The Baltimore Convention Center is okay for exhibits and conventions but as Convention Industry grows year after year so is the need for bigger space and better locations that this center can handle.
James Irby
Went to the motor trend car show razzle dazzle fluff & glitter, not enough show girls too many cars, the snack bar was 4$$$$ EXPENSIVE, but the only show in the arena I was captive.
Inetta Mcmillion
It was for the be more healthy expo they had so much to do and see that I was there all day and still did not do everything I was so tired of walking but I got a lot of things and information from them.
Jeremiah Jones-Goldstein
Going to conventions here is always a pleasure. The convention center is laid out well and easy to access from nearby hotels. There is also plenty to eat around it.
Michael Roseberry
The Baltimore Convention Center is a large facility with many rooms and several floors including a spacious area on the ground floor, ideal for large events at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The internal layout of the facility can be confusing the first (or even second) time being there because there are only a few places to access the different floors and because the place is so large a person can get lost without a map. There are three buildings joined by elevated walkways and to warrant using all three buildings an event would have to be seriously massive. Finding parking can be difficult (like everything in Baltimore) but it is walking distance to most everything else in the Inner Harbor including restaurants and several hotels. Since this is Baltimore it is important to keep in mind that this is not the safest city and it is unwise to wander to the more risky areas outside of the Inner Harbor. The only issues that I personally have with the Convention Center is that I sometimes have trouble finding a nearby bathroom (though they are available on every floor), cell reception can be very poor in some areas, and food vendors tend to be overpriced inside the facility.
Andrew T. Rambo
Great place amazing experience
Lindsay Burley
The events held here are great. The center itself is getting old and needs updated. The men's bathrooms in the event halls dont have baby changing stations.
bourne2083 a
The ticket price has gone up to all most 40 bucks the media guests are around 50 bucks and you can't even take a cellphone pic of them plus finding people with there crappy map kinda sucks
Also a ton of people cancel but you still have to pay the same price that aside the building and staff a great
Rudell Thompson
Need to keep their bathrooms clean
D. Eric Harris
Auto show was nice, missed a few models though. Infinit, Genesis, Cadillac, Mercedes not at show. But others had a good showing.
Hilal Ergul
HUGE place, everything clean and well maintained, minutes away from the harbor on foot
Bronze Tiger
Have enjoyed Comic conventions there several times. Nice place, well organized. Close to
Mindy west
large clean helpful staff
Fardad Moayeri
Large convention centre with good bathroom and food facilities. Surrounding areas have access to decent restaurants and walking distance to hotels.
Marietta Dawson
The International Auto Show is so fun to go to no matter what your age. They have the new stuff, some classics and some really fun mods on display.
Charlie McDonald
Huge place for a meeting, everything was easily accessible, the only con is that Starbucks closes at noon on Saturday's and it was needed after lunch with a days full of training.
Andre Sal
The parking lot is far from convention center.
There are a lot of options for food nearby.
You are almost at downtown, so some extra care is a good option.
JB
This is a very nice facility, that always has something unique going on. I went during the animecon and it was spectacular. This is one of the few places in Baltimore that is pretty nice.
Steve Dorsey Jr
Good place for the National Auto Show always.
Auto show was kinda weak this year. Not all manufacturers showed up to show. Hoping DC show in April will be better.
Eric Carr
Staff is super friendly and help convention attendees
Todd Oster
Well organized for the event
Alexis Xnonymous
We were at the BCC for Otakon 2016. I am a regular attendee of this convention since 2005. The convention center staff have always treated us with respect and courtesy during every visit. The facilities here have always been clean and it is easy to navigate. Generally atleast two of the escalators are out of order at all times, but they are probably just in need of repair/new ones due to age. Stay in the Hilton Baltimore if you want a really easy to and from while attending any function at the BCC!!
Aimee Dars Ellis
The convention center was clean and easy to navigate as well as convenient to hotels but I didn't find a lot of restaurants to my taste in the nearby vicinity.
Brian Murdzak
I've been to Otakon, and Bronycon here. Its a good venue from an attendee standpoint. Lots of good food in walking distance, and surrounded by hotels. Short walk to the Inner Harbor, has multiple Pokestops in the center itself.
Lia Coltes
It was lots of fun! Such great artists and lots of new things to see.
Richard Hostetter
Awesome Center to hold events. Staff is outstanding, go out the way to help or answer questions. Everyone is friendly and polite. Comic Con 2017
Robert Steagall
Big box convention center, like many others. Nice maritime decor, reasonably helpful staff. Ok location, but lots of panhandlers and high crime rate.
Nia Latimer
Enjoyed the Quest Conference at this location. Always clean and servers are professional and courteous. Parking is a nightmare because of the downtown location.
Darnel G
Wide open. Semi easy to navigate. Many, many spacious rooms for all your convention needs. Close to many excellent restaurants and hotels.
Dale Marshall
Had a great time attending the Tuerk Conference. It is my one consistent annual opportunity to network with colleagues. The staff was great and hardworking.
Alexis Dix
I went there to get tested for Covid-19. It was extremely organized and everything went smoothly. I got my results the next day. You can't top that.
Ashes of civilization
Attendee at conventions for many years, open spaces for meetings and to relax, placed extremely well near the heart of Baltimore and Camden Yards, as well as connected with the LRT a short walk from the west entrance. RIP bronycon.
Linda Rogers
Attended the ACC Show. It was crowded but I expected that. I enjoyed every aspect of the show and was happy to bring home several treasures from these hard-working artists.
Dave “QBall81” N
It's a little dated but aging better than the Arena. Came for the annual boat show and aways enjoy our time during.
William Leonard
Parts of this behemoth are showing their age, but others are still pleasant, like the garden terrace. Not a total dump but could do with a spruce-up.
Tara Cunningham
IT was okay. I did not understand why we had to leave this facility on the last day of the Baptist Congress for Christian Education to go to Roayl Farms facility, which was awful. On top of the fact that we had to walk to get there!!!
Calisha Queen-Gibson
Parking was !n issue.
Kai
Great for covid tests, in and out pretty fast. It's also free, and you can take the light rail to it as well
Wax N' Wane
Huge, convention hall, good air circulation and AC. Don't get the food- what you pay is highway robbery! (~$11 for a crispy chicken sandwich)
Amy Morse
Went for covid vaccine. Incredibly nice staff, very organized and felt very safe with all of the safety measures put in place.
Toluwaleke Owolabi
I loved the comic con
Emily Olsen
Gigantic convention center with escalators, vending machines, plenty of restrooms, and a nice outdoor area. Starbucks inside and a food court where you can purchase lunch. Several conference rooms inside. I have been here for Otakon and a special education conference and I've always had a fantastic time.
The location is amazing. Accesible by light rail train, uber, taxi, etc. Walking distance to many restaraunts and bars, as well as Baltimore's Camden Yards baseball stadium, home of the Orioles. Baltimore's inner harbor is a 5-10 minute walk from here, where you'll find more restaraunts and shopping. You can also visit the Baltimore Aquarium, Maryland Science Center, and Ripleys Believe it or Not museum!
