I've always love visiting Martin's West. I enjoy taking pictures and I don't mind going to bathroom here Honestly, one of the cleanest around town, enough to take some pictures... I didn't.. just saying. My husband and I visit at lease once a year for a friend of ours union annual Bull Roast. I would recommend this location for any special occasions. I love it..

Attended a company eventat this location. Not the first time to visit the place, glad they’re back after the pandemic. Plenty or parking, easy access from 695. Huge and nice function rooms, clean rest rooms, good food, staff on top of it, making sure food trays are refilled, fresh and warm.

I'm speaking on this review from the perspective of a wedding photographer that had the opportunity to capture a beautiful wedding at this location. This is a great venue to have a ceremony. There are options for both outdoors as well as indoors. The venue is large enough to accommodate multiple events at once, while still having space for large set ups. There are bridal suites located upstairs as well. The only 'negative' I can think of is if you're looking to have a traditional ceremony, logistically it can be a little hard to get great outdoor photos of the bride and bridesmaids without being seen by everyone before the ceremony, since the stairs are right next to the actual ceremony and reception space. Other than that, this place is top notch with great food and even greater staff. I would love to capture another wedding here.

I recently had my Quinceañera here and my experience working with Martins was amazing! Brad and Donna were so kind and accommodating. Everything was great from the cake to the decorating. The entire venue is gorgeous and my guests loved the food!

This was a nice treat and I had a lovely time as I was there for an event. The food was so good. Especially the salmon 😋 whoever cooked that is award worthy. The other food was good but the Salmon was awesome. The music was on point and the decorations was everything. Martins West is a good place to have all your special occasions. A good time was had by all. 👍🏿

Beautiful venue with lots of rooms and space for events such as prom or corporate functions. The staff ranges from fantastic to could not give a damn (typically the younger staff). Many are standing there having conversations with each other, ignoring the patrons, but the older staff such as the bar tenders were incredible.The food also leaves alittle to be desired. It's not terrible, but EVERYTHING is over salted. Overall, if you don't have food at your event, you will be extremely happy.

Martin's West was fantastic. Attended two affairs there over the past weekend. The decor, the food, location and lots parking is second to none. The staff were well attired, courteous and the service was impeccable. This location has everything you are looking when thinking of having or hosting an event.

Customer service is professional and courteous; food is good, parking is plentiful, and atmosphere is fit for a celebration. Downside is you can hear neighbors music when giving your toast, and scenic areas outside ballrooms are filled with other party goers.

We were just here this past weekend for a great milestone Birthday celebration. The staff were great worked very gracefully. Had a wonderful time at my God Daughter's Wedding. There were 3 or 4 other major parties 🥳 🎉 going on at the same time and the staffing handled everthing great and in addition the party venues doors were lit to identify 👌 🙌 parties I enjoyed myself. Visit here for different occasions but majority of the time for wedding. I enjoyed their service and wonderful staff. The food was beautifully plated, however, the stuffed chicken was a bit salty for my liking. Overall, everything else was wonderful.

Come here annually for the Maryland Groundwater Symposium. They do a nice job with the food and drinks. Coffee/tea service is quality. The building is old, but seemingly well maintained. Staff is always friendly.

As a wedding planner, I definitely recommend this venue. We worked here for a Cameroonian wedding and it created a great canvas to build a beautiful wedding on. We worked with Diane in the pre-planning stage and she also was really helpful during the process. They also were flexible in allowing us to bring in some dishes from a caterer who could make traditional food and combining that with the menu from Martin's. Overall it was a gorgeous wedding and great experience!

Attended an event here. The location and the nondescript exterior made us wonder what was going on. . . Then we walked in. It was like walking into a Vegas resort or high end cruise ship. The ballrooms were stunning, the food was amazing, the staff were all very attentive and obviously well trained at fine dining. If you are lucky enough to get invited to an event here, don't even think twice. You will love it. And if you can, stay at the Hampton Inn next door, very nice hotel, clean, modern, and friendly.

A great place to hold your event. Large and more moderate sized rooms available. Only negative is that the separating walls are not well insulated, so when the DJ turns the music up you had better have your own DJ to compete. Several times I have noticed this problem, and staff were unwilling to correct it. If I had to choose between Martin's east vs. west... Location: tie, both are not far off of 695 Food: east (especially the crab cakes) Decor: west (more modern & clean looking) Staff: east (very professional group & accommodating to any groups needs)

Ok...we're scheduled to have our wedding here on August. So, this is an early review. And so far we are blown away by the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff. We just had our tasting...and it was kinda like picking your favor child. (It's my second marriage...so that's not as weird as it sounds) We're very excited and can't wait for the big day. The place is beautiful and well decorated. The staff is attentive and professional and everything moved smoothly with director of event manager. The bar option was super nice too with the frozen drinks, and very cool bartenders we had tonight. Most people did not like the chicken parm served but the beef and vegetables were delicious as well as the salad served with warm bread 😋. I recommend this place for events and catering affairs.

The atmosphere was beautiful the services were above par and the bartenders were friendly and welcoming. The food however left something to be desired. I had overcooked and dry chicken, the dressing was the same. The Salmon however was phenomenal as were the hors d'oeuvres. My dream wedding place. I've been here a few times for functions. Each time I came it was absolutely amazing. These guys know how to transform your dreams into a reality. And they are pretty quick about it. The rooms are spacious, enough to hold 150 or more in select rooms. They have this beautiful chandelier hanging in the lobby which is nice for picture taking, and the bathrooms are very tidy. The staff is friendly and attentive to each guest. The only complaint I had was this very nasty young lady stationed to give out crabs. I asked her a question and she literally yelled at me.I will attribute that to her age and immaturity and not Martins. But everyone else was kind and very helpful!🌟😀

My son and daughter in law had their wedding at your facility on 11/13/2021. Kissee and Rountree wedding and reception. First the place was amazing but what made the entire day was Shania Brock. Whatever you pay her is not enough. She handled EVERYTHING, my son and his new wife and our family cannot thank Shania enough. We had many people out of state New York. New Jersey. Indiana and of course Maryland. Everyone had a wonderful time. And I know it had so much to do with having Shania Brock. Not surprised you get much more business simply because of her. Food was great (8/7/2021 however, the lines waiting to be served were ridiculous. Once at the crab station, we were allowed ONE small bowl of crabs (5) then we had to wait another 30 minutes in the line to get more crabs. This is unacceptable. We spent most of our time in line instead of enjoying the crabs. Who does this? You've got to come up with another method. You should have had someone passing out the crabs and someone passing out the spiced shrimp. I came with two (2) buses and most of us were dissatisfied with the length of time we had to wait in the lines. One time the line was all the way back to the bar. Absolutely unacceptable. I will also be sending comment to the vendor Soul Nations. This is not our first visit. We usually come every year but this year was the worst. Of course there was no visit in 2020.

Nice facility for weddings, receptions, and cabarets. Staff is usually friendly, although this time had a problem with their lead dining server. He was trying to stay on schedule but did so stepping over the program and band. Schedules are great but paying customers should come first.

It's a beautiful venue. I attended a Christmas party here. The first thing I noticed, the parking spots are super small. We literally had to shimmy out the car so we wouldn't hit anyone elses. The food wasn't to my liking, no seasoning or flavor, but the bar was just right lol. I'm giving four stars because overall we still had a great night.

I love Martin's they never disappoint! the food is always amazing, the staff will make your event so special from beginning to end! Love the wait staff in each ballroom, the sound does not travel as bad as some would say, and parking is always well lit. If you are planning a wedding i say try and make your ceremony in the early afternoon so your wedding photos come out perfect as the inside lighting can be a bit dim.

Unbelievable quality. Has enough chandeliers to deck a castle. Huge space, takes high end to the last level. Professional, courteous staff, the food was unbelievable, the fruit islands were exquisite. For being catered food, I could not believe how much flavor and depth every meal had.

A popular meeting and conference spot with lots of decor and decoration. Big Chandeliers and mirrors are everywhere. While the place is nice it could use a little updating and a little more attention paid to keeping it clean. It just needs more attention to detail paid. For example they have mouthwash dispensers but no mouthwash container under the push faucet. The food was good.

Martin's does an amazing job with catering and other events. I was there at the Martin's west location for a celebration, and the event went really well. Their service is the same for all of their locations, as I've been to several and I had my reception at one 15 years ago... And nothing's changed.. only the service and what they represent only got better. Whether you're going to an event or if you're planning something, Martin's is definitely the way to go.

This place takes your breath away from the parking lot. There are multiple large rooms for banquets or for what I went for which was the crab festival. The room we were in was able to seat about 600 people plus food/beverage stations and a souvenir section.

Martin's event hall in northern Baltimore was a beautiful, spacious or intimate setting depending on the need. The grand entrance astounds with the huge chandelier. Staff was efficient, polite, and quick to perform their duties. Rooms were clean and easily transformed into whatever configuration was required. The food was tasty, with surprises outside the norm.

Went to a healthcare conference. The venue is very pretty inside. However some of the sound system malfunctions were bumps in the road. The table clothes were too long and not properly tucked under which is a huge fall risk. Lastly the room was set up in advance but they needed to setup more chairs which was disruptive during speakers.

Very nice HUGE banquet hall. I attended the Youth for Christ fund raiser that featured Laura Bush as a speaker. Food was good and the facilities were very fancy. I was at table 198. Each table sat up to 10 folks. I think there was ~ 1600 people at the even. The place was packed. Parking was tight, but like I said, the place was packed to max, but did not feel overly crowded.

I had my wedding and reception at Martin's West and everything was absolutely wonderful. The planning is stressful but the wonderful coordinators did everything to make all the planning fun and easy. I had 300 guests and everyone was pleased with everything. They make sure all your wants and needs are met and that everything goes exactly the way you wanted it to be. There is someone at your finger tips the entire planning time and the day of the wedding making sure everything goes smoothly. I loved my wedding day and the whole Martin's Staff. The day was perfect.

Such an awesome venue. Lots of parking (provided people park correctly). The space itself is very large and can be split up into multiple rooms, not to mention all of the space on the top floor. The dinner provided during my night there was Chicken and Crab Cakes. My chicken was a tad dryer than I like; however my wife had one that was perfect. The crab cakes...well I could go broke just going the eat those. It was one of the best crab cakes I've had in awhile. Looking forward to having a reason to go back.

Martin's is consistent with the taste and quality of their food. But I have to tell you that they hit a home run with their salmon! Taste, temperature and presentation were excellent, which is usually hard to get when you have 1,300 women to feed. But the stuffed chicken is consistently dry with no taste. On August 4th, I organized my very first Crab Feast event with Martin's Caterers at Martin's West. My planner, Ali S., was very helpful, patient, and understanding. We began planning the event rather close to the event date, but Ali had everything under control. When we arrived at the Catering Hall, a bit late, we were welcomed with open arms. The layout for food was magnificent, and the servers were excellent. Our event included people from 21-70 years of age, and we all enjoyed our time at Martin's West. After the event, people asked repeatedly if I would repeat the event because the catering hall was more beautiful than they had expected. It was simply gorgeous. If planning a wedding or any other event in the Baltimore area, please look to Martin's West for the perfect event.

Large venue for events such as conferences, banquets, galas, etc. Large ballrooms and smaller rooms can accommodate conferences in one location, with several modest hotels nearly. Large parking lot with multiple entrances to the facility. Friendly and helpful staff. The only disappointing thing was the food service. Meals served over two day conferences all featured shellfish (crab cakes, seafood Stew en croute, shrimp), and the shellfish allergy substitution (with weeks of advance notice) was plain vegetable soup, and plain chicken breast.

I was worried that things might not go as planned on the day of the wedding since I did not have Ushers or a Wedding Planner but Martin's West were the bomb! They took care of EVERYTHING. I did not have to do a thing on the day of the wedding and my fears did not come true. Everything went smoothly and as planned. They made sure I, my bridal party and guest was taken care of. The decor of our ceremony and reception room was amazing and the food was so delicious. I was slightly sad that i did not get to eat much. I was able to enjoy the evening and not have to worry about the details. When I checked on a couple of things with Perry (cookie table, some champagne glasses we had brought in, etc.), everything was taken care of. My daughter had her sr. prom at Martin's so we knew what to expect, but it was beautiful, and many people commented on the venue. My only complaints: bread was not served until I asked for it, salad came out before the wedding party arrived, and prime rib needed a knife sharper than a butter knife to cut).
