An AMAZING place to host your wedding ceremony and reception, with two incredible options! No matter which of the venues you hold your wedding, you will fall in love with the views of the bay and the clean and good looking interiors. The food there is so good, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming, especially Ryan and Marcie who are the best and will ensure that your event runs smoothly!

This venue is such a gorgeous waterfront venue! I shot a wedding in July and the waterfront ceremony area is gorgeous! The couple had their reception in the yacht club and it was amazing! I accidentally left a piece of equipment and the staff mailed it back to me which was so awesome! I highly recommend having your wedding here!

My friends got married here and everything was GORGEOUS! The food was delicious, servers were nice, drinks were good. In particular, there was one young man with sort of long light brown hair ran umbrellas back and forth, helping people get to indoors without getting wet. The poor guy was soaked to the core, but never seemed upset by any of it. The place was super clean, there's a beach, beautiful walkways with ponds, flowers, plants, and sculptures. There was a big white tent with picnic tables, where we ran to for the ceremony before being taken inside for food, drink and party. It's either part of, or right beside a well kept Marina. The views were just beautiful and it was such a peaceful, serene place for any event.

I believe this was a little heaven on earth. Every employee I encountered was pleasant with genuine smiles. From the shuttle driver to the venue they were Professional and friendly. The Clean well tailored grounds speak for themselves. On a clear day absolutely Breathtaking, At the wedding I was able to take awesome pictures from my seat.

Ami and I loved our experience with Herrington on the Bay! The staff was the best and they were very patient throughout the planning process of our many questions. Our two wedding planners Lexy and Hailey did exactly what we envisioned! Secondly, the venue/property is beautiful! Everything was clean and it felt like we were in a separate world :)

We toured Herrington on the Bay as a potential wedding venue and although we went a different direction, Kira was awesome to work with and was so helpful. She was able to get me in for a last minute tour, and very responsive answering any questions we had. The venue itself was GORGEOUS! Highly recommend for weddings and events.

Beautiful location for wedding and it was a perfect fall day! There were problems with the Mike going on and off, so you didn't hear all of the words which was too bad. Tent had great air circulation. The food was cold and we were the first table served. Servers were great. Outside patio area was beautiful for hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The band was a live band and they had a great sound playing great songs, but it was way TOO LOUD!!!

Wow! What great wedding location. It was a late May wedding and it was flauless. There was an outside ceramony location with a covered outside location nearby in case of rain. They provide a bus for your guest to use to get from the beach to the reception area. The view here is rediculously wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was top notch. There was Steak and salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. Best catered food I have every had.

Where do I start and where could I end??!!! The staff were so patient courteous and helpful! From the bartender to the servers they all did a GREAT job! The views and the overall experience weren't just due to the bridal party but the staff as well!! You guys deserve the 5* rating!!!

I recently was at Herrington Bay for a wedding. The outside venue was beautiful. Then we came in for hor d'oeuvres and drinks. Dinner was upstairs. Food was well prepared and delicious. Mine was not really warm enough, but that happens when preparing for a large group. After dinner we went back downstairs for dancing. I had a great time. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. Every thing was set up well. It was one of the best orchestrated wedding I have been to.

Herrington on the Bay is the most incredible venue with the most helpful, supportive, and responsive team. We got married June 25, 2022 in the Herring Bay Garden and had the reception in the Yacht Club. We had a 10 month time frame from booking to our wedding, so we had to move quickly to get everything planned. Marcie and Brittany are an absolute dream to work with - from planning meetings, communication, answering ALL of our questions and inquiries. We had a plan for a tropical glam vibe; we wanted everyone to feel like they were on vacation. Marcie and Brittany worked with the event staff, chefs, bar tenders, and everyone else to help our dream come to life. Most of all, they were genuinely happy for us throughout the process. They made us feel celebrated, loved, and supported in every interaction, meeting, and on the big day. I truly cannot recommend them enough. Our garden attendant, Charlie, was incredible. Charlie was calm, cool, collected, and above and beyond helpful. Charlie fulfilled every request quickly and cheerfully. The venue itself is *almost* as incredible as the team. Everyone kept asking “how did you find this place?? This is the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen!” The garden is truly picturesque and the Yacht Club is gorgeous. The split level works great to separate areas of the reception. The patio and balcony are beautiful outdoor escapes for guests to enjoy the sunset. When we went to take our sunset pictures, we noticed many of our guests were taking advantage of golden hour overlooking the harbor. There is ample parking across the street from the venue. It was important to us to find a venue that had catering onsite because we wanted the food to be fresh, hot, and delicious. Herrington went above and beyond to help us get incredible food. For weeks after the wedding, guests remarked to us “I’ve been to a lot of weddings, and this food was beyond the best.” For cocktail hour, we served passed crab dip bites, chicken and waffles (BIG hit!), a dip station, and an arepa bar. We also had a craft beer tasting and pretzel bite station, which our guests loved. For dinner, we served a summery salad followed by chicken and salmon, mushroom risotto, and seasonal vegetables. During dancing, we served passed mini pina coladas, which of course was so much fun! We cannot recommend Herrington on the Bay enough. They truly take care of everything throughout the planning process and the day of your event. After we booked and told other vendors and folks in the wedding world where we were getting married, they all expressed that Herrington is the best of the best and will ensure the most magical wedding day. They were right.

This place is amazing! We had a nice winter wedding and the staff were phenomenal. The food was fantastic. They really made my wife and I very comfortable and made the wedding process so smooth. Adria and Britney and the rest of their team were very professional, and they went out of there way to make our day amazing. The venue was beautiful, and we couldn't imagine having it anywhere else after the terrific experience we had there. The bartenders, cooking staff, just everyone involved made it great. They were very quick to respond with solutions for any and every last minute things that came up. 10/10 would go again.

We haven’t even had our wedding at Herrington on the Bay yet, but I wanted to publicly acknowledge the great customer service we’ve had over the past couple months trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic! They have been so flexible and accommodating and happy to answer all of my million questions. I am SO glad we chose Herrington for our venue and we can’t wait to get married there, whatever that looks like and whenever it happens to be!

Beautiful and relaxing, gorgeous setting. And nice a|c rooms ours had a king bed so very comfortable. Loved the private patio with hot tub and table and chairs. Nice place to have a glass of wine at night . And a lovely path way that is lit up at night for a romantic walk .

This place is the very best in all catagories. Huge swimming pool, exceptional and new restaurant, wedding facilities beyond wonderful, full service marina, bath house with the very best and super clean individual rooms, new parking lot, deli across the street with upscale food and items including alcohol. The best of people at their best in a superb surrounding. So much more. I've traveled all over and this place beats 90% of so called upscale venues with similar facilities. Did I mention the courteous and well trained staff.

Herrington Harbor on the Bay! This place is truly slice of heaven in Maryland! We hosted our daughter’s wedding here and it was beyond perfect! Our event planner, Lexy, is one of the most amazing people I have ever met! Lexy keep us on task, walked us through all the details! So many details! Always with a smile and a solution. Shout out to Dan and Brandon! Polynesian Lawn and Paradise Ballroom are the perfect wedding venue! The food was absolutely delicious! The STAFF! Every staff member became a part of our family. If you are considering a bayside wedding, book Herrington! I love these people! Truly, The Best Day Ever!! ❤️

We just had our wedding here and it was beyond amazing. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue. We really lucked out with the staff. Everyone there was amazing!!!! First off, the venue is out of this world! Jordyn, our coordinator was the best! She made sure everything was on time and everyone was where they needed to be. I was not confused or lost once the entire night! Even when our shuttle (separate company) did not show for our guests or us, Jordyn somehow figured out a way to get everyone at the venue on time. Jordyn really is outstanding at her job. We couldn’t have dreamt of a better night! So beautiful! Thank you!

We stayed at the Inn at Herrington Harbour. This place is beautiful. We stayed in a luxury room which was very very nice, perfect for a family of 4. The only thing is the room only has a microwave and a mini fridge, so if you are not planning on eating out every meal, that could be a problem. We went to the grocery store and bought breakfast and lunch food. The place is very accommodating for guests. They set up the umbrellas on the beach for you. Kayaking and paddleboarding are included. If you have an older teenager, it might not be enough activity for them. They also have a playground which my 4 year old grandson loved. The place does require a lot of walking to/from places which may be difficult for some folks.

*****Interim Review and Rating as of February of 2021 and during the COVID-19 Global Pandemic*****: While researching possible Staycation locations online, I came across the fantastic website and social media pages for this business and I was blown away at how gorgeous it looks. In addition, I noticed that Diversity and Inclusion is practiced here as far as their staffing and I like and will always support Diversity and Inclusion in all forms anywhere in the world. At first, I thought that this was only for weddings. I had hoped to get married again, but it looks like now I might have to marry myself and I'm actually not upset about this possibility:) Anyway, I decided call and I spoke with an extremely nice lady who directed me to the right office speak with (Ms.) Laura. Laura very patiently and professionally answered all of my questions. Laura also described many of their Services and Options for customers, including those seeking vacation and/or Staycation accommodations at The Inn at Herrington Harbour, which has a very beautiful looking Marina too. Laura possesses a very rare gift that combines her mastery of Excellent Customer Service and Customer Care Skills and Etiquette, while remaining very down to earth and personable. These are the types of things I look for when I am considering doing business with a business for the first time. This is why I always try to call the business first because I believe that how I am treated via telephone is a great indicator as to how I will be treated in person. Therefore, if I am treated poorly via telephone, I'm Never showing up in person. Period. But because of my very positive telephonic experience here, I'll be showing up here in person asap and I very much look forward to it. I will update this Review asap after my first visit and/or Stay Here. Please Note: There are 3 Primary Venues here, including the Polynesian Lawn & Paradise Ballroom.
