I went to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for my friend's wedding and it was a great experience! The staff were all friendly and great, the view of the water and Bay Bridge were AMAZING!! I don't eat crab cakes but I did eat half of their gluten-free one and it was pretty good. The only complaint which I am not taking a star away from is the steaks were all pink on the inside. I'm not sure if that was requested that way or if they make them that way. I know some like it that way though. If you want to have a wedding or some other event by the water and have a staff of people handle things for you so that you can enjoy yourself then this is the place to go!!!

As wedding photographers (LVERphoto.com), we have had such great experiences with Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! It has stunning views of the water from both high and lower levels, and the small beach is perfect for portraits. The bridal suite is spacious and full of natural light, and the wrap around windows in the ceremony space was breathtaking. Outdoor portraits included are from AFTER sunset in November and it was still bright and beautiful on the beach. Highly recommend to engaged couples! - Sarah Mills

I just shot a wedding at this beautiful venue this past November 2022 and although it was rained sometimes, I was still able to photograph outdoors under the garden pergola. There were still blooming flowers too! The staff was so great to work with! I highly recommend this wonderful venue!

We stay a couple nights here each December before Christmas. Place is wonderfully decorated for the holidays. Rooms (in the Barn) are large and comfy. Plus the onsite restaurant, Knoxie's Table, is outstanding. Even the small market place which has breakfast, lunch and craft gifts is worth a visit. What's not to like

We are so happy that we chose the CBBC for our wedding on August 19th. All of the staff there are amazing and so accommodating! Yes, the venue is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for! The service, food, drinks, and overall atmosphere there makes every penny worth it. I recommend going to the tasting that occurs before each wedding season. We got to try all of the delicious appetizers, meals, and got a feel for what the Sunset Ballroom would look like with 200 people. This helped us a lot in picking out all of our items from the menu. We worked with Teresa as our day-of coordinator (in addition to an external wedding planner). She met with us, our wedding planner, and our moms a few months before the wedding and helped us hash out all of the details. We left the meeting feeling less stressed and knew we were in good hands. Teresa responded to all of my e-mails very quickly and was super helpful throughout the entire process. On the day of, Teresa worked graciously under the radar- I only saw short glimpses of her throughout the night so I knew she was hard at work behind the scenes! Our entire reception was beyond amazing. The organization and professionalism of all of the staff at the CBBC was better than I could have ever asked for. Teresa and my wedding planner dealt with all of the small mishaps quietly and professionally (so that I didn't have to hear about any of them the day-of!) Also, a huge thank you to Ellen for taking care of our bridal party in the bridal suite during cocktail hour. The guests LOVED the food- especially the crab cakes and said that the bar had the best selection of alcohol out of any wedding they had ever been to. We had the most perfect sunset over the bay bridge- the photos turned out amazing! We loved working with the staff at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and will cherish our wedding memories for a lifetime! Thank you CBBC for making our dream wedding become a reality.

This is one of the best event venues I have ever been too! I have been to two weddings here, and both were spectacular. The food was great, the facility was beautiful, and the bar even stocks hard to find craft beer and wine! Would love to come back for another event.

What a wonderful place to have a wedding! Everything was so beautiful and such a gorgeous panoramic setting on all sides. The staff was exceptional and very attentive and friendly. One individual Jeff Goldsboro was a shining star. He was warm and hospitable and anticipated our needs at the table before we did if that were possible. Gorgeous outside venue for a wedding with a view of the bay bridge, nice cocktail hour location, but the way they arranged the room for the reception we had at the wedding we attended was kinda awkward as most of the tables weren’t able to see the dance floor or people giving speeches.

My wife and I happily recommend Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for your wedding ceremony (or any event really) - they've done a great job adjusting to the pressures and constantly changing guidelines of the COVID pandemic and didn't seem at all phased by any changes or deviations in the original plans (weather included). The day of the wedding was seamless - my wife and I were very well taken care of and, for all the stress during the planning and build-up, the day of was remarkably stress-free. We worked with Erin and Marta, who were both phenomenal and made sure our special day was just that - thanks again!

BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and its staff. Teresa is the most incredible person to work with and Marta was incredibly attentive and was constantly making sure I was having the most perfect day. Love, love, love the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Knoxie’s Table is a farm to table type restaurant that has small plates and larger entree type offerings. The menu is seasonal and focuses on local sources. Get the soft shell crab as an appetizer and the cioppino, you won’t be disappointed. The Market is great for grab and go or quick meals. My favorite is the turkey avocado sandwich for lunch and the biscuit breakfast sandwich with egg, cheddar cheese, and avocado (what can I say? 😂) The food is delicious and you’ll want to try it all, so make sure to book a room in their luxurious hotel or a guest cottage. I love sitting by the fireplace in one of their comfy, yet seriously enormous armchairs and reading a book or grabbing a slice of freshly made boozy pie (YES) and heading outdoors to snag a rocking chair around the fire pit (you’ll have to be quick, because they go fast!). While you’re outside, stroll through their vegetable garden or head over to the spa for some pampering. There’s a really good chance that you’ll fantasize about living here the moment you walk through the door and - quite possibly - want to buy everything in their gift shop. But, if that isn’t enough to win you over, they grow their own hops on-site! I know, right?! Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, I love you.

We had booked our big day for 8.29.2020. We fell in love with the stunning views and well kept venues at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Could not have imagined anything better! Further, my day of coordorinator, Samantha was wonderful. She was friendly, positive, and responsive. It was clear to my husband and I that CBBC has everything well organized and planned. Unfortunately our ceremony ended up postponed due to Covid restrictions, and over that time Samantha was out on leave. Although it was a time of great uncertainty for all, CBBC lacked communication and demanded we reduce our guest count to meet State restrictions and have the wedding on 8.29 or pay $$$ to postpone. Considering our wedding was nearly paid at that point, this decision made by CBBC broke our hearts and spirits. In the end, after much heartache and debate, we decided to postpone. We finally had our ceremony on 9.10.21. As promised, on 9.10 everything went perfectly. The venue was gorgeous, the day of staff went above and beyond, and we could not have been happier with that day. The Inn on site was also wonderful. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Overall I would recommend this venue for the beautiful space and wonderful day of staff.

We went here for a Wedding, the day was grey but the facility was wonderful. They are on the bay at the base of a long bridge and they know it and use it to its full advantage. We were in multiple rooms and everyone played to the view. The staff was very eager to please and tried to accomidate every request. Given the accommodations and the staff, the food and wine fell short. The Crabcakes were a decent commerical quality. The apps were good but the wine was an inexpensive house. I have read reviews that some felt like it was a wedding factory. I did not feel that way at all because of the quality of the staff.

Our daughter's wedding at the Beach Club was nothing short of perfect. From the first tour, through the tastings, planning sessions, and pre-wedding panic over a possible hurricane, to the event itself, Erin and the staff were the picture of thoroughness and professionalism. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, the service crisp and attentive. The staff at the Inn on the property deserves high praise as well. Many guests stayed on the property and the rehearsal dinner was held there. Rave reviews all around. Both properties are well-appointed, classy and comfortable. You absolutely get what you pay for at this venue. Highly recommended.

Attended the Associate Leadership Council (ALC) annual meeting. Views from the conference room overlooking the bay were spectacular and the drive up (about 2hrs) was very surreal. I always walk away with a new perspective for my real estate business and personal growth. Everyone loved their hotel room and found the hotel very charming.

Stayed at the Inn for a 3 day conference. It's a attractive place with several interesting spaces. Bed was ok. Room an acceptable size, though not laid out well (conflicting doorways). Some rooms only have showers so if you like to soak in a tub after a long day you'll need to request a tub. I've noticed this seems to be the trend with newer accommodations. Making my morning coffee was a chore as there was no plug at the "coffee station", so water heating pot & French press had to be moved to bathroom to make coffee, & the provided French press was missing on the 2nd morning. Rooms need more insulation as I could easily hear noise from hall & other rooms. My room heater worked well and kept me quite comfortable, but heard that other conference attendees had issues with theirs. We were the first event hosted by the Inn so they may still be fixing some of the problems. Had it not been for the coffee & noise issues I would have rated it higher. The food we had was good enough, not the normal conference fare (have had better and worse). I did find it odd that bone-in chicken was served at an event meal but am guessing that was a choice by the conference producer. It's a pretty place & the beach houses would decorated beautifully for smaller weddings. The service and helpfulness of every employee I met was excellent.

I was just there this past weekend. Venue was gorgeous! Food was amazing! Unfortunately, the staff wasn't the best that I have had, and the spa at the inn was not on the same page as I was. I was told 60-75$ for a hair do. At the end of my 25 minute apt (style which included just curling my hair and pinning it to one side) I was charged 120$. I paid and didn't say anything, but still pretty unhappy about it.

My daughter’s wedding was at the Beach House Ballroom on June 30th, 2018. It truly was a magical day. The venue is beautiful. The staff was always one step ahead. We chose the filet mignon/crabcakes as our entree. Our guests praised the food! Erin was our wedding director. Erin takes all your worries away so you can enjoy the day. Knoxies Table at The Inn. Great new spot for brunch on the eastern shore. The berry compote on the french toast was delicious. Their duck fat fries yum! My nephews had plenty of options and finished their food and wanted more. Great for all ages and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We will be back for dinner and hopefully a family holiday event soon.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! While there were a few bumps in the road, as there will be with every wedding, the staff at the CBBC were amazing and flexible through it all. They were able to work with us on our payment plan because we booked later than the traditional couple (about 5 months vs 1 year in advance). We booked the Tavern and the bridal suite as well as the ceremony and reception spaces were fantastic - we could not have asked for a more perfect venue! We can't say enough wonderful things about both Erin and Teresa (and everyone else at the CBBC for whom we have no names, but much thanks)! Erin was our booking agent at the CBBC and she was very informative and patient with myself, my husband and my father, who was the financier of our wedding. Teresa was our coordinator, and she was on point the entire time. She was constantly checking to make sure that we had everything we needed and we were on schedule - or at least close to it, as we fell behind a few times because we just couldn't get enough pictures. Teresa even snuck my husband and I over to the fence of the Ballroom to peak a view of Craig Morgan who happened to be playing a private event that evening through the slats in the fencing. Our guests were equally, if not more, impressed than we were with the venue. One of our friends even said that they were looking for a place to renew their vows and were now interested in looking into CBBC because of their amazing experience. The food was incredible - we had the filet and crabcake plated option and OMG was it delicious! And the appetizers! We had the mashed potato bar - which again our guests raved about - the seafood sampler, and two passed appetizers. Everything was just perfect. The only bit of constructive criticism that I have for the CBBC is to try to provide more of the station appetizers for the wedding party while they are taking pictures on the lawn. I was able to get some of the stuff from the seafood sampler brought out to us, but I was never offered anything from the mashed potato bar, and when I did ask for some I never got it. My husband never got any either, which was a small disappointment for us both. My dad was also disappointed that he wasn't able to get any of the oysters on the half either because he was outside for pictures as well, and my husband and I had actually chose to get the seafood sampler partially because we knew my dad loved them. Overall, our experience was terrific and, again, we just can't say enough wonderful things about the venue and the staff! We definitely will recommend the CBBC to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding, vow renewal or large function. And, if we ever wish to have a vow renewal or a large family get-together we will definitely look into the CBBC again!

It's 3 years later and I am still in love with this venue. I'm bummed they didn't have the inn when we got married because that would've made every super convenient for guest and the bridal party. I can't speak highly enough about Teresa, and the CBBC crew. They are very attentive and go above and beyond to ensure that you have the day/night of your dreams! We have the greatest memories from CBBC from the initial tour, to selecting the venue as our choice, to the bridal show, the tasting, and the final linen selection with day of details. All of my guests raved about our wedding, and even 3 years later we are still getting compliments. CBBC and all of our vendors made it an outstanding day with memories to last a lifetime. I hope to have a reason to throw another event at CBBC sometime in the future. One of the GREATEST waterfront venues in Maryland! I just wish some of our wedding photos got featured :)

We were here for a wedding and a brunch. They did a wonderful job of catering to our needs at each of the events. It’s a sprawling complex with one set of buildings next to Route 50 and another set a half mile away on the bay. Make sure you have good directions so you don’t end up walking a ways. One challenge I had was that they are a bit of a wedding “factory” with a number of events simultaneously. Also the entry of the main faculty is a bit like a Cracker Barrel where they force you to walk through a small store to impulse buy touristy items.

My biggest complaint is the central heating and A/C system. When I arrived the weather was still a bit chilly, but since system was switched to A/C, I didn't have option of choosing heat on room thermostat. My only option was to turn fan off. My wife lamented fact that lighting in room and bath was too dark to apply her makeup.
