Reviews of Harry Potter: The Exhibition Atlanta
Daniel Duran
I absolutely enjoyed going to this exhibition! The level of details as you walk from room to room is amazing! Just having all the original props from the movies and books from the series is amazing to see in person and I really appreciate the level of dedication this exhibit has to provide to all Harry Potter fans! The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the experience! What really made the experience very unique is the amount of interactive activities each room had to offer as it was a very immersive experience that I have not seen from other similar exhibitions! I definitely recommend checking it out before they close down at the end of February! The best exhibition in Atlanta!
Marsha Lawson
We took a day trip down to Atlanta to visit Harry Potter: The Exhibition. Our whole family are huge fans of the books and movies. We read each one as a family and then would watch the movie. This was such a fantastic experience! Not gonna lie, I teared up walking into the first room. You are fully immersed into the Wizarding world! I loved everything about it. I like how they spaced the groups out so there wouldn't be too many people in one area at once. The exhibits were so well thought out and displayed beautifully. It was cool to see so many of the screen worn costumes and props. The wand room was probably one of my favorites. This made for an amazing family day. I'm glad we made the trek!
Hannah Banowsky
What a cool and unique experience. Enjoy seeing items from the set of the movie in an immersive experience. Very clean, not too many people. The lines if any, moved quickly. The bathrooms are only available at the beginning and it lasts for about an hour and half. The workers are all so nice and willing to help in any way they can. I was worried it would just be a big photo opp but it wasn't! Amazing room designs and props as well as interesting information regarding the props. I enjoyed taking pictures and experiencing the magic. Would absolutely go again.
Michael Vandeford
Fun experience, with movie props and displays. A couple cool interactive activities. The gift shop is pricey, however that's typical of these things. Parking deck is next door with the ability to buy pre-paid parking on the website. If you bought pre-paid parking, they validate your ticket at the exhibit, so remember your ticket stub from the garage. Okay walking distance to some restaurants.
Lisa V
Great experience! Props and sets were awesome. So many opportunities for wonderful photos. Great to purchase butter beer at the end!
Natia Smith
This was the absolute Bestttttt Harry Potter Experience!!! This was the best surprise she ever had!!! Can’t believe we found this on tic tok and it ended up being downtown in our city!!! Well done and very organized, great staff, awesome atmosphere and the gift shop is great!!!
Heidi Elpers
Fantastic experience. Totally engaged in all the activities. Our family loved it. Tons of memorabilia on display. Drinks and food and shopping experience was excellent.
Justjewels4u
Great Exhibition! If you’re a fan, you will love everything. The interactive and immersive experience is worth every penny
Thomas Lehman
I highly recommend the Harry Potter exhibit for hardcore and casual fans alike. It cost about $46 per person for admission, and you could easily spend an hour and a half or two hours looking at everything.
My favorite part were the costumes, which I'm told were actually used in filming and not reproduction. I also liked the stained glass pieces representitive of the different houses. There's some interactive stuff, but this is much more a Harry Potter museum than anything else.
It was pretty busy when we went, so if you can manage to go during the weekday, I'd recommend that.
Courtney C
Bought tickets for my nieces. Not a huge Potter fan, but I found myself enjoying every minute of the exhibition. Very interactive and exciting for those who love Harry Potter.
Joey Sgarlata
We had a really amazing time. So much to see and do, took about two hours to get through tha whole thing. There were so many artifacts from tha movie, it was insane...
Mark Lowe
Awesome Exhibit
Loads of amazing memorabilia from each of the films ranging from the sorting hat from the Philosopher's/Sorceror's Stone to all of the Horcruxes in the Deathly Hallows.
The pictures of the walls move like in the films and all. Really cool experience
Tammy West
This exhibition was phenomenal! Took my grandchildren because they love the movies. Now I can't wait to watch them myself. The interaction was so much fun and everything was well organized.
Taylor Vickers
We LOVED it! What a fun experience for my family of fans...we loved how imaginative and interactive it was and that you could go at your own pace to read and explore. The authentic props and costumes were amazing to see up close and we enjoyed the behind the scenes filming trivia posted throughout. Lots of places for fun pictures too 😃 We went during a busy day but the crowds moved well and the working crew members were friendly and very helpful. There is a small cafe in the lobby which we thought was a nice touch (you cannot bring food or drink inside the actual exhibit) the souvenir store had great merchandise and parking was a breeze and right across the street. We highly recommend...no matter what level of fan you are, there's a lot to enjoy 🤩
Kevin S
This was definitely worth going to. But do yourself a favor and do not buy the VIP ticket. It gets you nothing that you need. Wish I would have saved my money.
Daniel Santangelo
Spectacular interactive experience? Want to take a potions class? How about Divination or perhaps fend off a Bogart in Defense against the Dark Arts? Now you can!!! Absolutely worth it for a potter fan of any age. Apparate here at once! Or take a portkey if you haven’t passed your apparition test yet.
Olivia K
The exhibition is about 1/2 museum, 1/2 interactive experience. It's a unique, enjoyable experience for Harry Potter fans who are interested in facts about the films, costume and prop design, and enjoy simple completion-based interaction points. There are several great photo ops that bring this up to par with the recent "Experience" popups.
One big frustration was that, although we saw very few children going through the exhibit, every interactive station was child-height. This is a pretty huge miss considering the majority of Harry Potter fans are millennials and it's much easier to provide step stools to allow children to reach the stations than it is for adults to bend down to half their height.
In addition, the way they handle prepaid parking is functionally a scam. The instructions say an attendant will scan the QR code to validate your prepaid parking. But the QR code scanner at parking entry is intentionally covered, the exhibit entry attendant doesn't know how to validate parking, and the parking deck attendant says, "Yeah, this happens to everyone. You're kind of screwed." So, we double-paid $18 (so $36) to park for 1 hour, and of course no one at HP: The Exhibition is going to help us with that.
Sheri Cronan - Wilson
Brilliant for any HP fanatic! We're hoping they bring the Forbidden Forest exhibition to Atlanta as well!
Sheila Bryant
I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and was excited to go with my best friend for my birthday. We had such a good time and enjoyed the experience.
Brandy Williams
This place was amazing and very immersive. I felt like I was on set sometimes! I love how there are interactive things to do while going through the exhibit
Robin H
The exhibit itself was pretty cool. The staff, excluding one person who was fun, obviously did not want to be there. I went to the 8pm tour. We were found about halfway through the exhibit and told (around 9:25) that they were closing at 9:30, not 10, and if we wanted to shop we had four minutes. They had already closed the cafe. We had to run through the last few rooms and snap some quick blurry photos. I believe because we were one of maybe two groups there, they decided it wasn't worth staying open. I was extremely disappointed in the staff. I traveled from out of state for this and it was not worth it. All that said I did have fun and got a lot of nice pictures.
Dinero Oro
This exhibition, is amazing, the only thing the need more employees like the guy the star the tour, all other’s employees looks bored, and not helpful, but the place is really fun take a lot of pictures it brings you to your childhood
Casey M
Wonderful exhibit full of costumes and props from the HP movies, plus fun interactive stations where you tap your wristband to earn points for your house. Also, lots of wonderful photo opportunities throughout and they welcome you to take video and photos everywhere. My daughter's favorite item was seeing Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem and my favorite was seeing Gilderoy Lockhart's costume (and Snape's was awesome, too!). Definitely a must see for any Harry Potter fan!
Michelle Keown
Awesome family experience for fans of all ranges and ages! Our group did the VIP tour, skipping the line on a busy day was a bonus, but in the exhibit it didn’t feel crowded at all! Loved seeing the costumes, inside scoop on characters and scenes, and awesome interactive exhibits and photo opps! Our family had a blast! Catch this experience while it’s in town!
Ichigo Miruku
It's a nice place to bring your family. The games are interactive and it's based on the movie so if you watch at least one of the movies you'll enjoy your time here
Zunaid Porbandawala
Our family enjoyed the experience. Our 6 year old wasn't a big fan and hot bored half way in. Our 10 year old enjoyed it. Some of the interactive machines were glitchy
Conrad Freeman
This was amazing! The whole family are big Potterheads, it was so cool to see props and costumes from the movies and plays. The interactive parts kept us engaged and helped make sure it didn't feel like walking through a museum.
Latisha Woods
This was absolutely amazing!!! It was more than I anticipated. It took about an hour and 45 minutes to get through. It felt like a Wizarding World museum. We went on a Friday evening and the crowd wasn't bad at all. It's truly an experience. If you're a fan, GO!!! You won't be disappointed.
Liuyi Zhu
Great set-up and definitely worths going if you are a hp fan.
Jessica Welch
Such a cool experience. Worth the price. My only complaint is it would have been nice to do some of the activities more than 1 time a person. I went with an elderly person so it took them a little longer to figure out how to do some of the activities. By the time they looked at the screens some of the activities closed out and she couldn't try it again.
Daniel Araki
This is like an interactive museum for the movies. The information is very basic, but they have a lot of original props, which is cool. The interactive portions are very much "kid" friendly and the adults will appreciate the props more.
If you are a fan it is a must go! However be ready to take a hit on the wallet as you exit through the gift store!
Alma Cristina
Very nice experience, was a Christmas present for my husband he really enjoyed n me too
Brandon Nichols
This was way better than I was expecting. My family spent 2 hours and we felt like we read 90% of everything. Plenty of information, tons of props and very well laid out.
Rachael Hamilton
A truly fun event for the Harry Potter fan. Plus, it's a much bigger exhibit than I thought!
Naomi Wingate
I had the most amazing experience at the exhibition. The two employees Luis and Felix greeted me at the door! They were animated and excited. I tried joking around with the other employees and engaging with them in the Harry Potter experience but they didn’t respond. I was really happy to be there. It was clean and I got plenty of gifts from the gift shop. I can’t wait to go back. Best experience ever. Wish they had a section featuring Dobby my favorite character! Team hufflepuff all day!
Justin Betancourt
Such an exciting and interactive experience! I genuinely felt immersed with all of the sets, props, and attention to detail with the entire exhibit. The gift shop also has a very nice selection of items to choose from. Totally worth it!
Amanda Velazquez
I LOVED the experience! It was very interactive and had amazing photo opportunities. The butterbeer I Purchased at the end was pretty good too. This is a must see for every Harry Potter fan.
Blue Sun
It was an okay experience. There were not enough interaction stations for the amount of people coming through. There were also, not as many interaction points as I would have expected. If you have not been to Universal, this may seem amazing, but if you have been to Universal, keep your expectations low. The little children around us seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Shannon Truelove
Very interactive, interesting facts about the movies & fun for all ages.
Joe Terpstra
A very enjoyable experience for any Harry Potter fan. Staff was friendly and helpful. A lot of props and costumes used in the movies. Fun interactive exhibits. A lot of photo opportunities. Took about an hour to walk through. Exhibit was not busy at all.
Leana Moss
Thoroughly enjoyed learning some behind the scenes trivia. Gift shop and snack prices were astronomical.
Matt Grimaldi
Fantastic exhibit! The props and everything were neat to see, but what we enjoyed most were the interactive exhibits. They definitely added a little something to the experience and made it more enjoyable!
Nikki P
It was awesome! If you saw the movies or read the books go see the exhibit! They even included stage show characters and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movies.
Erik Roldan
My 8 yr old daughter loved it. Very well done and the staff was extremely pleasant.
Alexander Cheng
Wow! Amazing! This exhibit I'd a GIFT for fans of all ages, especially those that grew up reading the books as they came out. Would highly recommed!
My only "complaint" is how short the kiosks are in the front to check in. I had to squat down to use them. But they would be no issue for a smaller child.
Toby Spencer
The family had a blast. We went early enough on a Saturday that it wasn't too crowded. There was something for everyone and they did a nice job making the exhibits interactive and fun.
Angela Cocca
Loved this exhibit! They had tons of costumes from the movies and a bunch of interactive moments to keep us interested. Definitely a must for Harry Potter geeks of all ages.
K Jones (Contry Nurd)
If you're a Harry Potter fan add this place to your list of places to go. They have a great selection of movie props and costumes on display. They also have a great selection of interactive things to do as well.
Thomas
Very nice Harry Potter exhibition. Has many interactive exhibits, lots of clothing from the movies, and an excellent gift shop.
Tickets are very expensive at $39 for an adult and $35 for children.
Lesley
We had the best time ever, so much great information about the movies.
Nikki Parker
Harry Potter costumes directly from the movie and the interactive objects and rooms were so cool! This was so much fun and it wasnt crowded at 2pm on a Monday!
Lily Rose
VIP was not what we had hoped for. Most definitely worth going to see the exhibition YET not worth paying more than the general price. The VIP didn’t even include the photo taken at the beginning of the tour 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ …
Stephanie Johnson
Harry Potter: The Exhibition is a must see. I did the tour without the audio component. It was fun. There were a lot of interactive activities. It wasn't too crowded. The tour took a little over an hour. There were a lot of pieces from the movie and things from the Fantastic Beasts series as well. The gift shop was a little pricy, but there were so many nice things that I still ended up buying stuff. My husband is not even a Harry Potter fan, but he enjoyed himself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.
Nicole
Went on a weekday and it was tooo crowded. Couldn't really participate in all the activities so not worth the price. And for you to purchase a timed ticket, you shouldn't have to wait in line for 30 minutes.
Eric Mays
Enjoyed the Harry Potter Exhibition. Prepaid for parking which was less than 200 feet away from the entrance. Staff were friendly and energetic. Quite a few displays in the self guided tour.
L P
Extensive exhibit with the ticket price. Limited Golden snitch opportunities but it was fantastic. We took about 2 hours but read everything while enjoying the exhibits.
Lynsey Buckley
Definitely worth checking out if you're a Potter fan. The interactive portions gave the exhibit a little more spunk.
Ryan Stein
Fun and exciting good way to kill a few hours save your money by not getting the vip tickets and just spend the money saved in the gift shop
Bridget Muncy
Loved it!! Definitely a must see for any Harry Potter fans
Will Weinreich
Had higher expectations. Was a glorified museum with little interaction. Prices in gift store were reminiscent of Disney.
Kirstiann Howard
Super fun interactive experience.
Tyler Bennett
Interactive and fun! My only comment is for more interaction, maybe with wands. Also more movie related trivia, a lot of trivia about the wardrobe and costuming but not much else about the story.
John
Some cool design and set stuff. Mostly just the costumes and some props. Did spend about 2 hours going through it and enjoyed it but nothing to rave about
Chasisity Springs
We loved this exhibit. It's a must see for HP fans and even those who are not because you will be a fan by the end.
ALeigh
LOVED every minute of it BUT we were charged twice for parking at the garage. We already paid for our voucher online and as soon as we were exiting the garage the lady with the red hair left who was assisting everyone left before she got to our car to redeem our parking pass for the exhibition. SUPER DISAPPOINTED.
Loretta Cramblett
The exhibit was great. The cafe was a big disappointment. Dont bother with it.
Anjellica Nokes
This was so much fun and made a perfect gift for my Harry Potter loving girl. She was excited for each new room.
Andrew D.
Great experience and really well done! Lots of memorabilia and we had a great time!
Joy Locke
This was sooo cool. So much to look at, so much to see. Everyone was so nice. We had a great time!!!!
Hüch Tüch
Great experience, i had fun but it's a bit expensive for what it is. 10-15$ less and then it would be okay
Savannah T
Interactive and very fun! Perfect price and nice staff!
Crystal Ryan
Had so much fun. Relearned things I had forgotten about. Great experience
Anas F
I feel the wait times were longer than expected, lacked interactions experience
Nathan Wallace
It was nice but feel like it's a little too expensive for what is there.
Symone Thompson
It was fun.
Tyler Novack
Amazing I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
Erin Mendez
Great experience for Harry Potter lovers!
Kath Flahardy

A lot of fun for the entire family!! Its really what you make of it. There were groups who blew through it, we took our time and really enjoyed every little aspect. The only complaint was the food and drinks were a little too expensive for what they were.
patrick crowley
Was a good time.
Rosemary
Must visit if you're a Harry Potter fan!!!
Natalie Cook
It was just a wonderful experience. I was like a kid at Christmas!
Beth Kotz
This exhibit was fun! A bit pricey though.
We were there for over an hour, not crowded on a Thursday night.
shaun seaman
we had an amazing time our son is 4 and he thought it was awesome too.
Jennefier Hoffner
I felt like I was on a magical adventure as I toured the exhibition. I love how interactive it was and that there are a lot of photo opportunities. Each house was represented very well. You get to go through the different classes and play quidditch and even sit in Hagrid's chair in his hut. You get to transport via port key, make a potion, replant a mandrake, see your prophecy, and defeat a bogart and more. It's so exciting for any Potter fan. There are a great variety of props and magical images. As a huge Harry Potter fan, I'm glad that I added this event to my Harry Potter adventures. I took one star based on location. It's in a very busy area and kinda shady at night. I didn't feel safe. We arrived later in the evening and stayed until closing. There's a lot of homelessness and panhandling in the area.
Joey Hartsough
If you like Harry Potter then you will enjoy it.
MnR
Magical place with very nice experience and interactive one
Revi Murphy
$50 for roughly a two hour experience. Building can be difficult to find on GPS since the entrance is at a different location than advertised.
Jenny Dies
Two for one Tuesdays! Great price with super cool memorabilia and movie set, good merch selection as well, interactive
Gwen Ng
Truly enjoyed the experience!!!!! Expect to spend quite some time here. Everything is well made and I love my experience. I'm from Houston TX by the way. Was just in town for the weekend and this exhibit has been the highlight of my trip.
Christina Garnett
Fantastic and magical.
Kaley Sexton
Had so much fun, literally such an amazing exhibit and all of the interactives totally worth it.
Staff was absolutely amazing.
This was perfect for young and old, new fans and old fans.
Gift shop has well priced.
Very well stocked.
Great photo opportunities and overall it feels like you enter a different world. 10/10
The only thing I don’t recommend is the parking. We paid $18 followed instructions and got our ticket validated before starting the exhibition.. only for us to go and leave and use the validated ticket and get charged $28 more dollars (the max) so we ended up spending $46 on parking and no one to talk too?
Zachary Tasker
Magical
Lakshman Reddy Vanga
Nice experience
Jonathan Lofton-Smith
I unfortunately went during the weekend, so everyone had their children, who kept getting in the way, but the exhibit itself was amazing. Reading some of the plaques and learning about the props and wardrobes was fun. It makes a great date of you're looking for something to do on valentine's day. There's also a gift shop, along with a place to buy food and drinks. If needed, they also have a coat check.
Dr-D3athStr0ke
If you are a Harry Potter fan it is a great substitute for Orlando. Fun exhibits and interaction. Better for kids however. The gift shop however is the extremely overpriced.
Carter James
Had fun. Some of the interactive displays weren't working but had fun regardless. A little pricey especially in the gift shop
Jolita Green
It was nice and we had fun...great photos!
elijah morris
Pretty cool but overpriced
Flame Ming
Pretty cool place. A little pricy. ~ 1 hr experience. Note: I don’t know Harry Potter that well
Senpai Deadpool
Me and my fiance went to it and it was amazing but it wasn't as interactive as we would've liked and it was a bit expensive when it came to the merchandise but all in all it was an awesome experience!
Dan Ireland
Super fun!
Jayde H
The Harry Potter Exhibit was super cool. My 8 year old is a huge Harry Potter fan; so I thought not surprise him and take him to the exhibit. Parking was easy and directly across from exhibit. When we arrived we were both very excited. The exhibit was interactive and engaging. We took some fun photos and made our way through the exhibit in approximately 45 minutes. For some it may be a little longer, but it was most certainly worth it. I highly recommend this exhibit.

(Translation) SUUUUUPER cool experience if you like Harry Potter!
We bought our tickets online and when we first arrived we had to register our wristbands and pick a House, Wand and Patronus.
There are different rooms with interactive games, props from the movie and immersive screens showing all kinds of cool stuff from the Wizarding World.
They had the Great Hall with all the candles hanging from the ceiling, a Quidditch room where you could actually throw a ball to try to score, a Potions room with interactive potion making and even a Defense Against the Dark Arts room where we casted the spell "Riddikulus". They also had soooo many different outfits from the movies, and all the Horcruxes too!
Although I liked mostly everything, I gotta admit some things displayed seemed cheap and or could've been better, and to top it off some of the interactive games were broken or malfunctioning. Us and other families found ourselves trying to figure out how to work it out only to realize they were just not functioning which was kinda disappointing.
This wristband can be scanned in different interactive games and you get points added for your house, then you exit there is a board showing what house is winning which we thought was cool.
At the exit there's the gift shop which was HUGE and had so much merch I've never seen before, there was also a cafe that seemed to have HP themed drinks and bites but it was already close by the time we were leaving.
Even though the building is located at 200 Peachtree the entrance is located around the corner at 155 Carnegie Way NW. it was a little confusing at first to us... there's also lots of public parking around this area. We found a lot and paid $4 for 2 hours.
