My husband I eloped this past Friday 2/17 and it was absolutely perfect. Katrina was thorough and thoughtful, and always responsive. She also works with the best vendors. Our officiant was amazing, and my bouquet was STUNNING. As someone who never dreamed of having a big wedding, Katrina helped make our day perfect. From the beautiful photography, location planning and keeping us on track the day of. She gave us the tools we needed to have a stress-free day. On top of that, we got a sneak peak of our photos not even 24 hours later! I would highly recommend Katrina! Thank you for making this the most memorable day of our lives.

Katrina and Allison are an absolute DREAM to work with!! My husband and I came to them after covid-19 ruined our ceremony planned for May. We decided we wanted to get married 2-22-22 because what a cool date?! With a little under 3 weeks notice, they worked very diligently and kept us up to date with every single aspect of our day! We never not one time felt uncomfortable or out of the loop. We truly felt like we had known these ladies for years and years. I could never say enough good things about them!!! Katrina also did our photos and OH MY are they breathtaking!!!!! The best part?? Our sneak peek was out within 24 hours!!! These ladies had 3 weddings on the same day as mine and they were still released that quickly!!! If that doesn’t say enough about their work ethic and how much they truly care for every single one of their couples, I’m not sure what will! We had a beautiful ceremony with family thanks to Katrina and all her partners!!! With an adventure elopement on the Blue Ridge Mountains, things do not always go according to plan, but Katrina and our photographer from Ashley Steffans photography were flexible and made sure everything worked out! We stopped at an overlook on the parkway for our ceremony and then drove up as far as we could with weather conditions for more photos. We then went back to our Airbnb for cake and more photos. The whole experience was designed just for us, which made it so special. If you want a stress-free, intimate, & romantic day Destination Elopements - Asheville is the way! Eloping in the mountains was an experience my husband and I will never forget. The peacefulness and intimacy made the day magical. Destination Elopements made the process super easy. Katrina was a pleasure to work with. We had many phone conversations discussing the details of our wedding day. She was able to give us some ideas for locations as we are from out of state and weren't sure where to begin to look. It was great how she wanted to know about us and why we were choosing to elope in the mountains of North Carolina prior to our wedding day. Katrina answered my many questions both on the phone and over email. All the details, down to what was going to happen if it was raining on our wedding day were thought out and discussed before the day of our ceremony. We were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather and did not have to go with our back up plan. Katrina made us feel comfortable and brought out our personalities in our photos. Katrina, who is the owner of Destination Elopements Asheville, was such a wonderful person to work with. She helped us every single step of the way with planning our wedding. She answered all of our questions. It was awesome to have her just a quick phone call away. We are from Ohio so planning a little destination wedding in a place we’ve never been can be a little overwhelming but working with Katrina really took all that worry away. She was very professional, kind and has such a fun personality. I enjoyed talking with her so much, I requested her to be our professional photographer as well. We have never taken professional photos before and Katrina really made that entire experience fun and just so amazing. She’s so light hearted. Katrina was on the ball at the beginning of the wedding planning! She called me at least once a week to help us with the planning and helped suggest places to stay and eat as we were coming from Florida. As we got closer to the big day some things were miscommunicated (which is bound to happen when communicating via phone and emails) But everything was resolved quickly! Our wedding day was beautiful even with a slight change in scenery and I couldn't of asked for a more unique wedding adventure!

My experience with Katrina and Destination Elopements was beyond amazing. I was very nervous to get married in another state but Katrina helped me through every step. Katrina is a great coordinator. I cannot say enough about Katrina - she truly made our day exactly what we wanted. We had wanted to elope pre covid but had to adjust from getting married to Central Park to the mountains of NC. From the beginning she was patient, understanding, and honest. She gave us all of the information we needed to help us move forward and find our dream location and helped with all of the details (filing papers, finding a photographer, and a florist). I had an idea of a ceremony we wanted and she ran with it and put her own twist on it that was so special and meant a lot to us. We had an unexpected issue - our photographer got in a Wreck on the way to our elopement and Katrina immediately let me know and worked with the photographer and they were able to find us an amazing stand in photographer at last minute. Before they had found a photographer Katrina herself offered to bring her camera to capture moments for us. She truly loves what she does and it shows and it made our day that much more special. So impressed and happy with our wedding and everything Katrina did! Highly recommend and can’t sing her praises her enough!

Very glad we went with Destination Elopements for our ceremony! My wife, son and I drove from Michigan to NC to have an adventurous beautiful and secluded ceremony and they delivered. My husband and i used Reverend Katrina May of 2018. From the start Rev. Katrina set up a phone call which was wonderful. I loved that she did this and wanted to get to know us. I had numerous questions and she was always quick to get back to us. We set up a back up plan if the weather did not cooperate and was a joy to finally meet her the day of! She was very patient as it took the elderly parents quite a while to walk back to the waterfall we got married at. Everyone adored her. We cancelled our destination wedding due to COVID and decided to elope in Asheville instead. We contacted another wedding planner but after working with them for 2 months, they stopped returning our emails and calls. Katrina was so so so amazing! We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and decided to elope just the two of us in the mountains of North Carolina. It was scary choosing an officiant and planner being in another state and not being able to meet her but we could not have made a better choice.
