Destination bride from Florida here! I was naive to think I would be able to plan my wedding on my own from afar and knowing close to nothing about the area. From our first consultation phone call, Nikki was warm, welcoming, reassuring, and just what I needed to be able to take a breath and relax! I quickly knew that she would be the perfect woman to help me plan my dream day! We started planning in the midst of the busiest wedding season ever and Nikki and her team was always quick to respond and handled me with grace as I was changing my mind about vendors, dates, etc! Nikki is more than an event planner -she is also a cheerleader, therapist, advocate, and friend! We got married in June 2022 and our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and more than I ever dreamed it would be! If anything went wrong... we absolutely had no idea about it. She took my vision and made it a reality down to the small details I never even had to think of because she already had it handled. We had a billing issue with our venue weeks after the wedding was said and done, and Nikki even helped me get the issue sorted out. I get the feeling she truly wants the best for each and every one of her Bride's and that's what sets her apart. THANK YOU CAROLINA LOVE EVENTS!!

Our day would not have been as perfect without Nikki and her team, I cannot recommend Carolina Love Events enough! As a Type A / organized bride I thought I could do it on my own and I was wrong. I reached out to Nikki early on and that was easily one of the best decisions I made. She gave us guidance when we needed it, grace when I undoubtably changed my mind and was always a phone call or email away. On the wedding day it rained and I had absolutely no worries because Nikki so seamlessly handled every detail. I had family asking me questions on the morning of the wedding and to have the confidence to say "I'm not sure but I know Nikki has it handled" was the most reassuring feeling ever. I did not have to worry about a thing and enjoyed every second of my day. Her and her team flawlessly executed my dream vision of florals and greenery throughout Highland. Walking into our venue and seeing the greenery and candles on the tables, hanging greenery from the ceiling, lanterns and flowers was so magical. Nikki helped make our day absolutely perfect and we will forever cherish our day!

The day of our wedding, Nikki and her assistant were given what we had for decor and they made it more than we could have imagined! Many of our guests were stunned that such a beautiful event could have been planned from across the country! Without Nikki, It would not have been so picture perfect. Nikki was absolutely amazing to work with! She made the planning process for our wedding stress-free. My husband and I are planners, but Nikki was on her A-game every time we chatted. She had all the little details we never thought about and it made the wedding day go through smoothly. I want to give a special shout-out to Christy who was on-site during our wedding and did anything and everything to make our wedding perfect. We had a mini-cake situation and she handled it so easily, I didn't even have to worry about it. If I asked for a change in the timeline for our reception, she rolled right with it. She was absolutely fantastic. We had Nikki as our florist as well and she did amazing! She worked with our budget and still got us everything we asked for in terms of decorations. Planning a wedding during COVID was a very particular kind of stress and we seriously could not have handled it all without her. It's been three months since my wedding day, and in hindsight, I am even more sure now than I was then that hiring Nikki was the best hiring decision I made throughout the whole process. She's super chill personally and extremely easy to get along with. She's also incredibly organized - working with her was essentially like taking a multiple choice test (while working without her would have been like having to take an essay-answer test). She researched and brought me vendor options/decor options/etc. that fit me and my then-fiance/now-husband, and we picked best fit, or she would go back to the drawing board, if necessary. Day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about one single detail. Nikki and Pankti took care of everything (including making sure the marriage license was signed and sent so that we are actually legally married). There are so many wonderful things I could say about Nikki and how easy she made this process. We knew as soon as we spoke with her (and we spoke with a few before her), that she was the wedding planner for us, and I would gladly send her to all of my closest friends and family who needed planning services for an event.

Nikki and her team were AMAZING! Due to covid, I was lucky enough to work with nikki over a span of over 2 years due to having to move my date. Nikki was an absolute dream to work with! We were married in Asheville last June (destination wedding for us). We hired Nikki to be our day of coordinator through our venue, Homewood. Nikki was SO MUCH MORE than a day of coordinator. Nikki truly went above and beyond and was always available to me via text/email. Not being local presented its challenges during the wedding planning process so Nikki was my go-to girl for all questions. Although her services technically only included day of services, she never had a problem answering my questions leading up to the big day and there were a lot. Carolina Love Events, Nikki Leonard and The Homewood provided the perfect wedding reception for my daughter. The Homewood is a beautiful building inside and out, Nikki is an awesome organizer and the entire event was flawless. The location is gorgeous, centrally located with plenty of off-street parking. Coordinating multiple dates and rescheduled weddings due to COVID-19 has been rough on the wedding industry but working with Carolina Love Events has made everything much more smooth.
