We had our Division Meeting dinner up at Capitol Club - July 2022. Wonderful view - the pictures just aren’t good enough. Actually, the balcony is a good way to see the downtown area from the sky. Appreciate our catering staff and the bartenders. Easy walk downhill anywhere in town.

What a fun wedding venue! I have had a few friends get married here. I love that it is downtown. Perfect spot for a destination wedding in downtown Asheville!

We had my son's rehearsal dinner at The Capital Club and it was just wonderful! Light airy room and the outside area has amazing views of downtown and the surrounding mountains. Mariah was incredibly helpful with everything! Answered all my questions with clear and attentive communication. The staff for our event was terrific. Thank you Mariah and everyone at The Capital Club for a special and memorable evening!

We Alice in Wonderlanded this place by following the sandwich board signs that said "Rooftop Open". Taking the two separate elevators, we walked into the event space. Signing up was weird, giving over your ID and phone number (so many downtown venues do this, but it always freaks me out so I tend to use cash when paying for any food or drinks). We purchased a couple drinks at the bar to take out onto the roof. There was a decent selection of liquor, wine, and beer. Beers were all canned/bottled but poured into a glass. We had a Jack and Ginger and a Highland Ale. We had the entire corner to ourselves. This was the perfect location for us to wait for our friends to show up (we were able to watch the parking deck and make sure they walked around the building safely to where we were). Nice view of downtown and the mountains.

We hosted a tarot reading at the Capital Club as part of a wedding reception and the event team was absolutely fabulous to work with. The views are stunning and everything ran so seamlessly. Can't wait to come back for more. Cheers!

The Capital Club is one of the top places to hold an event in Downtown Asheville. The staff are professional and friendly, parking is convenient and you can't beat the expansive views from their rooftop! A+++

The Capital Club is an amazing place for a venue in Asheville. Amazing view, amazing staff and incredible facility. Mariah and staff were perfect - helpful and helped us with the perfect layout. Day of event, made sure they were always there for backup when needed. I honestly do not think there is a better place in Asheville! (Our event was a high school prom, but wish it was around when I got married - you can take the best pictures with that view!)

The venue was beautiful! The background and the mountains are beautiful! We had a great time at our prom thanks to Mariah and everyone at the Capital Club that made it happen and helped with whatever was needed! We truly enjoyed it and will come back and recommend to friends for events!

I am so excited about this venue! We had a rehearsal dinner for about 100 guests. The view is the best in Asheville. So fun for out of town guests to enjoy! I worked with Mariah, she was so easy to get in contact with and answered all my questions. I would recommend this venue to anyone hosting an event!

The Capital Club has the most beautiful space. The view of the mountains and of Asheville is unmatched. We had our wedding reception here and all of our guest raved about how beautiful it was. We loved having both an indoor and outdoor space that guests could enjoy. The café lights over the patio look beautiful at night and provide the perfect place for a dance floor. Mariah is hands-down the best to work with. She let us come visit whenever we needed to look at the space and was very prompt when planning with emails and phone calls. Mariah always went above and beyond to make sure that our minds were at ease and that our day ran smoothly. We are so very thankful for her and her staff for making our day perfect!

Mariah is a rock star! I was in touch with her from the beginning to the end! She made it super easy! The venue itself was a clean slate, but able to transform the room with rentals and decor! The view was amazing, the patio is beautiful! Now if only the rain would have stayed away:(

Cool rooftop bar on weekends. Pretty sure it is an event space to be rented, but they open their doors and beautiful view to the public on Fridays and Saturdays. Full bar and two TV's. There was ample seating inside as well as seating in the rooftop area. The views were stunning (especially at sunset)! The bar is small and there was only one bartender, but the service was very welcoming. Costs 1 dollar to be a member. Beer and liquor prices were a little steep (the only drawback). Overall amazing views of our fine city and mountains, great service, and a pretty good selection of beer, liquor, and wine.

I'm not sure there's a place in Asheville with a better rooftop space than Capital Club. The inside is incredibly accommodating and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The convenience to downtown cannot be understated either, just a short elevator ride to the middle of downtown Asheville too. Perfect for weddings, corporate events, and parties.

Great downtown venue with a flexible layout, gorgeous patio and giant windows that show off the absolutely stunning view. Their team is so friendly and helpful. Mariah is a joy to collaborate with. If you're on the search for a space for your next birthday party or corporate dinner the Capital Club is the venue for you!

Great views and access to great vendors make the Capital Club an easy all inclusive venue for corporate events. All we had to do was show up and enjoy!

My son had a destination wedding in Asheville North Carolina. We decided to have our Rehearsal Dinner at The Capital Club in downtown Asheville. We were so glad we decided to have our event at The Capital Club. It is a beautifully designed space with large floor to ceiling windows and wall of glass doors leading to a large terrace with amazing views of Asheville skyline and mountains. Outside on the terrace was the perfect setting for our guests to enjoy gorgeous views of daylight, sunset and after dark views while enjoying cocktails and listing to an outstanding singer, Brandon Crocker. Inside was the perfect setting for a sit down dinner for our 100 guests. Their audio visual capacities were outstanding. We were able to view our Montage on two large TV’s and one big screen projector; it was very easy for all our guests to see our Montage from all seats. What is even better the TV’s and large screen are all beautifully concealed not to interfere with the design of the room. Working with Joe and Mariah was great. My main contact was Mariah who was a pleasure to work with. She was professional, responsive, flexible and very patient with my many last minute special requests. Mariah was extremely responsive to all my e-mails and phone calls. All the vendors helped make this a special evening. The up lighting from Champagne Event Services, cocktails & dinner with Celine & Company Catering and Mary Bell Events our event planner. It was a perfect evening and we could not have picked a better location. I HIGHLY recommend The Capital Club for any type or size of event! It was truly a wonderful experience, and exactly the event we were hoping for. The Capital Club was PERFECT!! The views of this venue made the night that more magical. We held our son's rehearsal dinner (40 people) and a welcome cocktail reception afterwards (115) at The Capital Club. Mariah was an excellent partner in helping me plan these two events. What made planning a little trickier than most, was that I was living in China and had to do all of this by email. Mariah was extremely attentive and helpful. She responded in a timely manner to any of my questions or changes. She offered lists of caterers and florists who were familiar with the venue which made my planning even easier. She even caught details about the caterer and dishware rental a few days before the event to ensure that I had everything I needed. We did a run-through of the video/audio two days ahead of the dinner and she had a tech expert on site to help us with our questions. With rain in the forecast, Mariah offered a suitable Plan B that would work easily; fortunately we didn't have to put that plan into action! The venue offers a gorgeous view of the city and can offer both an indoor/outdoor space. My only complaint is minor - I wish the lights on the terrace could have been on a dimmer so that it felt a little cozier. Our guests are still talking about the wonderful dinner and party we hosted - the beautiful Capital Club venue AND Mariah Gunther are two of the main reasons why it all went so well. I would definitely work with them again if the opportunity presented itself in the future.

This is the best rooftop venue you will find in Asheville. The view of the west is simply breathtaking. It's located in the heart of downtown surrounded by all the amenities. There is an easy load-in parking lot behind the building which is rare find downtown. Don't look further. This is where you want your event!

I cannot say enough nice things about The Capital Club. It's truly a gem in Asheville. We had our son’s rehearsal / welcome dinner there and it was beyond amazing. First, let me say that Mariah was great during the planning process. Since this was a “destination” welcome dinner and wedding, I had to go by phone/email alone with sight unseen. I threw out a vision and Mariah took it and ran. The outdoor terrace makes this place PERFECT. We were worried because we chose not to have entertainment, but there was no need. The stunning views and breathtaking sunset was entertainment enough. Also, much to our delight, the local ball field had fireworks that evening, so it was just icing on the cake. We have received several thank you notes from family/friends saying how much they enjoyed the evening. With all of them saying the same…that the location was lovely and the venue was the perfect setting for a magical night. It was the perfect introduction to a beautiful wedding the following day at the Biltmore. Every detail was laid out perfectly. If you are looking for an affordable and gorgeous place to host a rehearsal dinner - look no further!

If you’re looking for a mountain venue - with elegance and a view to die for - look no further. This indoor/outdoor met our every dream. The staff was absolutely amazing. Mariah made planning, organizing, and doubling the wedding weeks before - a breeze! She handled everything - from the layout, to linens, coordinating with vendors and so much more. She was so kind and patient with my many questions and my inability to make up my mind at times. I would say - I trust you to figure it out - and she certainly did - better than I would have. Our wedding turned out better than we had hoped - honestly - every single moment was perfect. Thank you to all of the staff at the Club, and to the owner, Joe, for making one of the best night of our lives - and many of our friends and families - perfect. We had countless people tell us that this venue and our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended. I couldn’t have done this if it wasn’t for the stellar support of Mariah and the rest of the team at the Capital Club. This is absolutely a venue to check out - you won’t be disappointed. We certainly were more than pleased.
