Rebecca was absolutely amazing. We had our daughters destination wedding in Alaska. From the beginning to the end. Rebecca helped make our daughters wedding absolutely beautiful and magical. This was the most beautiful experience. She listened to us and made sure all we wanted happened. It was a truly a dream come true for our family! We are forever grateful for Rebecca!

Sarah was 20/10 AHHHMAZING. I am so thankful for her help on the day of our wedding day and the days leading up to t. She was always a voice of reason, good advise and the human embodiment of sunshine on our wedding day. She truly cared about what my husband and I wanted and took what we had to say to heart. She prioritized our vendors and made sure to organize them so I didn't have to. She worked very closely with my mom who organized a lot of the wedding and guests. One of the most important reasons I wanted a wedding planner was to take any stress away from my mom and parents so that they could enjoy the day and she did exactly that. Sarah, I am so thankful for you and your help making our day so perfect. AND for following me around all night pinning my dress that everyone at the wedding seemed to step on! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

This was the best possible experience I could have had with a wedding planner for my adventure elopement. From the moment I contacted Rebecca at La Boum Events, she went out of her way to make our special day better than even imagined. She listened to my wild and complicated ideas of a beautiful setting, somehow brought them all together and staged everything so we could see how it might look. She coordinated with our photographer and added in special touches at my request. She even handled a delivery of some special props. I felt so relaxed on our wedding day and I couldn't imagine doing it any other way. She was worth every penny and more!

We had Sarah at La Boum Events as our wedding coordinator for this summer and she was absolutely amazing!! I couldn’t imagine if we didn’t have her and I know I would’ve never survived!! She is in tune with every little detail and has the perfect balance of knowing when to follow the lead and when to take charge I was blown away. I (and our guests!) felt the wedding was as absolutely amazing, went smoothly, and so much fun, and I know it was because of her. The groom and I wouldn’t have ever been able to enjoy as much as we did, without her, either. She went above and beyond our expectations, is an absolute gem to be around, and I wouldn’t hesitate in suggesting her for anyone else’s wedding!!! If you have a chance to use her, don’t hesitate!

If you are even considering an adventure elopement then you should search no further! This experience was by far more perfect then I could have imagined. There was absolutely no wedding stress and this is saying a lot when trying to get married during a pandemic. From start to finish, Rebecca was there dodging obstacles and getting things done. We did not make it easy LOL She will go above and beyond to make your day more special than you can imagine.

I am so glad I found Sarah A. at La Boum... I struggled finding the right planner when I was searching because I was still figuring out some details and was also looking for someone who had that "auntie" energy. I didn't need everything instagram-able and over the top (even though everything was beautiful!). Sarah helped me narrow everything down, talked me through everything, and was SO organized and polished the whole way through. I don't think I would have been able to do it without her. And I gained a friend through it all!

Rebecca is worth her weight in gold. She is incredibly organized, and her relationships with other excellent vendors are invaluable. When our vendors heard that we had Rebecca on our team they were willing to do things for us they wouldn't do for anyone else. She made our wedding go so smoothly that we could focus on enjoying all of our friends and family. La Boum Events is worth every penny if you want a gorgeous, well run event (wedding or otherwise.) I can not recommend her highly enough!

Sarah was amazing! She really cares about her clients! She braved a Leap Day blizzard in Alaska for my husband and I on our elopement day! I can’t stress how easy she made everything for us! She took care of our dog (who was part of our photos) during the ceremony so there’s literally nothing she wouldn’t try do to make your day memorable and incredible! I can’t thank her enough! Our experience working with Rebecca was amazing! From our first consultation she was attentive and excited to share her knowledge with us. La Boum's extensive details on how to elope in a different state were one of the reasons that made our experience so easy! The packages offered were comprehensive and flexible to include exactly what my husband and I were looking for! They let us know that we could remain flexible due to the weather, but everything worked out perfectly for our ceremony in Moose Meadows! If you're even remotely thinking about using wedding planning services with LaBoum GO FOR IT! You will NOT be disappointed, If I could give them 10 stars I would. Holy cow what a luxury it was and what special memories we created because of them. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sarah Albourn and Rebecca Kopperud from LaBoum events. When I reached out to Rebecca, who owns LaBoum, she helped me figure out what kind of service would best fit our 150 guest, Palmer, AK wedding planning needs. We decided on the ‘day of coordination’ services and were assigned Sarah Albourn who did nothing short of completely blow us out of the water. She was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We met a few times to talk (at length) about our wedding expectations over coffee and she helped us develop the perfect timeline for our special day. Having a wedding planning professional just a text or phone call away was priceless. She helped with so many aspects of our day from the smallest details to the big ‘oh god help me’ moments. She ran our rehearsal the day before the wedding seamlessly and kept us and all of our vendors on track on our wedding day. I legitimately don't know how we could have done it without her. It was so special to not have our closest loved ones running around in circles and instead we could all relax and really enjoy the moment because Sarah had us all taken care of. We legitimately miss her and are so grateful for everything she did to help us have the wedding of our dreams <3

Laura @ La Boum Events is amazing! Everything we wanted she took care of and even helped with all the last minute changes. She even helped us get the string quartet from the Anchorage symphony to play at our wedding a week in advance! Amazing service and nothing but professional when interacting with us and the bridal party. Everything ran smoothly and went better than expected! Could not have asked for better service!

We have hired La Boum several times now. They first planned my 60th birthday party at a local museum with a travel and Italian theme. I was so impressed that I hired them again as a gift to my daughter for her wedding and they did a fabulous job. Then this spring we hired them again for my husband's retirement party. They always bring fresh and new ideas. I get tired of going to the same parties over and over again. It has been a good investment for our family to put a little extra money into hiring a planner who brings great decor and new ideas to these family milestone events. Instead of just a same old same old party, we have memories of a really great time that we will remember for the rest of our lives! Thanks La Boum and team!

My wife hired La Boum for my retirement party after they planned our daughter's wedding a few years ago. I was very happy with their service then and very happy with their service now. For the retirement party La Boum brought a Mexican fiesta theme with a taco bar, a cigar bar and a photo booth, with Mexican themed props. It was a nice way to mark a milestone event in my life. They are the best local planning company. Highly recommend them.
