As a fellow wedding photographer in the wedding industry I am writing this review to make sure ALL couples know how amazing Saige is. I want to assure anyone searching for a wedding planner how on top, determined, and kind Saige is as a wedding planner. She is on top of emailing, organizing, and diligently making sure all vendors are on the same page. She made my job incredibly easy because she was 110% doing hers. I have NEVER written a review for another vendor in this industry before but Saige completely deserves the first and 10 freaking stars if I could give her them. Saige is a vendor you NEED on your wedding day. If you want a stress free wedding and be assured your planner is killin' it behind the scenes and have the best experience ever... you should have booked Saige and her wonderful team like YESTERDAY. Our bride truly had the best wedding day ever and Saige at A Touch of Saige Events was an extremely important and incredible vendor that made our couples day unforgettable. Thank you Saige for being one of the BEST planners I have ever worked with. I would be honored to work with you again!!

I cannot thank Saige enough for how everything turned out for our wedding! We decided to do a small destination wedding in Alaska, and having never been there before, decided to hire a wedding planner. From the first meeting with Saige, I knew immediately I wanted her to be our planner. She sent us a questionnaire and then followed up with more questions during our meeting. She helped us choose a plan that would meet our needs and vision. I never once felt overly stressed about the wedding. She was effective at communicating with us and helped recommend vendors for us to use, all of which we are beyond pleased with. She acted as the liaison between us and our vendors, which was so wonderful and helpful. Everyone loved the s'mores bar that she put together for us. I really could not ask for anyone better to help put this day together for us. Thank you again Saige for everything!

A Touch of Saige helped our wedding day go so smoothly. There were several unexpected hurdles on our wedding day and Saige was ON IT. She was in the fridge re-frosting our cake when it looked like a hot mess, managed our vendors who were all over the place, and even put eyedrops directly into my eyes during our reception when my contacts were acting up. Saige made all our bohemian wedding dreams come true! We are forever grateful for her professionalism, kindness, patience, and creative vision. When Mitch and I got engaged we knew we had to have a big outdoor Alaskan wedding and we were immediately daunted by the task. Hiring Saige and having her by our side through the entire process was the best decision we made! She made the entire process transparent and smooth. On the day of the wedding my entire family got to relax and enjoy the evening stress-free knowing Saige was there to not only coordinate the entire day but decorate and design our wedding venue while also coordinating with vendors and even cleaning up at the end of the night. We can’t praise her enough for making our wedding day the absolute best day of our lives! Working with Saige has the bonus of her knowing vendors and being able to rent wedding items from her that way you don’t have to spend the money buying items you will never use again! We have also been lucky enough to experience a few other events Saige has planned and she never fails to throw the most beautiful parties we have ever experienced! I’ve really struggled to write this review. Mainly because I just couldn’t find the words. And maybe that’s just it…I cannot find the words to express how amazed and grateful I am to A Touch of Saige Events. When I first reached out to Saige I was just a wreck. We had just canceled our planned wedding in Hawaii due to COVID but were still wanting to keep our original wedding date…just five weeks away! My MIL did some research for me and gave me the names of many wedding planners. So we talked with a few, but it wasn’t until we talked to Saige that we really felt like we were still going to be able to have our wedding...and not just throwing something together! From our first conversation, Saige’s experience and professionalism was obvious…she started asking questions we didn’t even have the answers to yet! But with her encouragement, along with our faith in her, we began re-planning our dream wedding. In a few short days I put together a new Pinterest board—from there Saige just expanded. She had amazing new ideas and concepts, and I basically let her take the reins. In addition, Saige has an amazing network of vendors she frequently works with—within days, thanks to her help, we had all of vendors booked as well. Her recommendations did not disappoint!
As planning progressed, Saige checked in with me regarding each new plan or idea, and I gave the yes or no. When it comes down to it, our beautiful, breathtaking reception was all on Saige. On top of that, contracts and questionnaires were pouring in, but by the time I’d looked at them, Saige had already filled out most of them! What she didn’t know we would chat about. Any time I had questions or I was overwhelmed, Saige was there. What I thought was going to be a nightmare to organize came together so smoothly and perfectly, all because of Saige. Just prior to the wedding, Saige, knowing how stressed and overwhelmed I was, checked in on me frequently…just to make sure I was doing okay.
For the big day, Saige had everything planned for us…to the minute. It was so helpful, and stress-relieving, to have that schedule to stick to. Additionally, Saige coordinated every detail with all of our vendors so I didn’t have to keep up with who was where and when, etc. Let me just add (again) that our reception was AMAZING. What started as a few Pinterest ideas for a rustic mountain wedding turned into a dream come true. One more magic touch…I saw a cute idea on Pinterest where brides/grooms had made a specialized drink menu named after their dogs. I had wanted to do this but was just too overwhelmed…the night before our wedding Saige showed me our customized sign!! She had taken the drinks we’d discussed and took it upon herself to have those signs made…it may seem silly, but for me, a dog-fanatic, I was flabbergasted.
So…maybe I do have some words, a lot of them. I truly will never be able to say enough about Saige. I ran around thanking her and her crew over and over that night… I know a lot of brides can think of this or that..things that went wrong. I can’t think of a single thing, and I suspect I owe that to Saige.

We went to a wedding a few years ago that Saige performed Day Of duties for. It was the only wedding we had been to that stayed on time and went smoothly. From that point on we knew we would want Saige to help us plan our wedding. We met with Saige to tell her our plans and some wishful thinking ideas we had. Some of the ideas we didn’t think were possible she made possible (like wood fired pizza at our reception)! She had all the contacts, info, and time to help us plan a day that we wouldn’t forget. Once the COVID pandemic hit and our plans changed Saige was ready to make any changes we needed to do. She helped us create a small, beautiful ceremony with families in the mountains that was 100 times better than any giant party could have been. We can’t thank Saige enough for her time, dedication, and compassion for what she does! If you’re looking for someone adaptable, professional, and creative, you can’t go wrong with A Touch of Saige Events.

A touch of Saige has a large inventory of rentals- We only ended up needing umbrellas, but are so glad we went ahead with them! I also loved that she had clear ones, as they will photograph really well.

Saige flew down to Bellingham, WA to help us by coordinating the day of our wedding. She was amazing!! We discussed what our vision was for the day and she ensured everything went off without a hitch. I can honestly say that I was not even a little bit stressed the entire day of because of all her hard work. Saige kept us informed and moving without feeling overwhelmed by everything that goes on the day of the wedding. We would have been lost without her guidance and knowledge about weddings and events. My fiance (now husband) reached out to Saige to plan our elopement wedding after our initial out of country travel plans fell through due to covid. We had to keep things within the US but wanted a destination feel still, so we decided on an Alaskan elopement. Saige responded right away was was always so responsive through the whole process. After our initial call she took our ideas and ran with them. Everything she put together from there on out was exactly what we had wanted but more then imagined. If we never reached out to Saige for our wedding our ideas and plans would not have came together the way they did. She kept our budget and ideas in mind and made us feel so special. Saige took away all anxiety we felt on our wedding day and kept us calm and at ease. I'd just wish we can get married once a year to experience everything Saige put together for us! It really takes a special person to be this talented and heartwarming.

I originally discovered Saige through Instagram and fell in love with her account. Her posts and design style reflected exactly what I was looking for my wedding. I was planning a wedding in Alaska, but lived in Vegas, so I knew I wanted a wedding planner to help make things easier for me. After meeting with Saige, I knew she was the one I wanted to help plan my wedding. Her prices are very reasonable for the different planning packages she offers. I originally got the Day of Coordination package and we were able to customize it a bit, so that she was also able to help me with finding vendors. She was so wonderful and easy to work with throughout the whole planning process.
After everything going on in 2020, I ultimately decided to postpone my wedding which led me to cancelling the wedding altogether. With all the changes that I made regarding the wedding itself, Saige was so understanding and helpful through it all. I wish we could have seen what Saige would have done for our wedding because I know she would have done such a wonderful job.

I worked with Saige for one year planning our wedding. The event turned out to be everything I imagined and more. Saige helped me locate the team of people to work with at the event (venue, DJ, photographer, videographer, bartender, catering, rental companies) and she worked with the team members I knew and wanted as part of our team (hair, makeup, cake, florist). She meet with me every time I asked and answered any and all questions that arose throughout the planning, and pointed me in the right directions to fine tune the details of the wedding. Saige is easy to work with and very professional. Saige and her team handled all of the set up of the event so there is no stress that day for you or your family and she created the timeline for the rehearsal and wedding day. I could not imagine planning a large wedding without a wedding planner. There is more time and detail involved in planning a wedding than you can anticipate. I will miss working with Saige now that our wedding took place but I have amazing memories for the rest of my lifetime.

Saige was absolutely amazing! My family put together the wedding I planned and dreamed of and Saige was there to make sure everyone could enjoy all their hard work when the day finally came. She was exactly what we needed and so much more. Saige stayed in close contact with all our vendors, ran our rehearsal, arrived early to make sure the venue was set up, and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time during our special day. She was always one step ahead of us so we could be stress free and enjoy every second of our wedding. I can’t say enough good things about her, she truly was wonderful.

We worked with A Tough of Saige Events for our small wedding. Saige was incredible. She connected me with local vendors, which was extremely helpful because we were new to the area. Saige served as the liaison with the florist, bakery, and reception venue. On the day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about anything. Saige and her team set up everything and cleaned up as well. I was truly able to be present. My husband and I are really thankful we hired Saige and her team!

We can’t thank Saige enough for creating our dream wedding! We went outside the box and decided to have our wedding in Alaska, even though we had never been there. It wouldn’t have been a success without Saige. We attempted to plan it ourselves but struggled to find options online and had limited success getting responses from vendors. We threw in the towel and decided to hire a wedding planner. Saige was the only planner we reached out to. We knew she was a perfect fit for what we wanted. She started the planning right away, walking us through every step. We initially struggled to find a venue, but she was patient and found us the perfect place. Unfortunately, we planned the wedding for 2020 but had to reschedule to 2021 because of COVID. She made the rescheduling an easy process. Saige was always available to answer any question no matter how dumb. She thought of small items and details we didn’t even think of or consider. She understood our budget and took it into consideration when suggesting ideas to us. She went above and beyond and really brought our visions to life. For example, she offered to label the beers we created, she allowed us to ship items to her house so we didnt have to fly with them, she suggested excursions for our guests even though it had nothing to do with the wedding, and she suggested great vendors. She really had her hand in every detail of the wedding, and it allowed our guests to really enjoy the event. We just had to show up and she did everything else, including the entire clean up. The wedding was perfect! The entire event turned out better than we imagined. Everything was beautiful and we were able to have everything we wanted! Our guests are still raving about it! Saige even went out with us to the Palmer, AK bars afterward. The whole time it seemed like she was having as fun making our dream come true as we were living it. She was a joy to work with and we are sad our time with her is over. Maybe we'll have to make this wedding thing in Alaska a yearly thing. We are so glad we decided to hire Saige because it would have been a hot mess without her.

As a local wedding/elopement photographer / videographer here in Anchorage, I have few wedding coordinators I can work with that truly CARE about the client and vendor experiences. I don't know how she does it, but every single experience I've ever had with Saige over the past 3+ years, no matter how massive the scope of the project is, has been exceptional and super smooth. She takes the time to get to know the couples priorities and can dream up their design + flow of their big day, and then adapt if need be while considering the couples wishes, because she actually gets to know them! She's always the first there and last to leave and stays calm as a cucumber with a smile on her face the whole time, no matter how long the wedding is! Saige is an exceptional person and industry expert, and we're LUCKY to have her here with us in Alaska!

Saige was a professional but warm person to work with while planning the biggest event of my life. She was able to really listen and understand what we envisioned for the underlying tone of the day- a rare skill, especially in wedding planning! My confidence in her ability to “get us” allowed me to trust her with all manner of decision making though planning and on the day of. Instead of worrying about details, I used my energy to feel emotionally prepared.
Saige was reliable, followed through with everything she said, and was incredibly prompt in responding to questions or concerns. She went above and beyond the package we purchased and almost felt like a second maid of honor on my wedding day!
If I were to do it again (and if I were to advise brides to be), I would hire Saige earlier than I did, which was only about a month prior to my wedding. I didn’t think I would need a wedding planner, but it saved my bacon. Secondly, I think it’s important to include all the main people involved in planning for every meeting. Had we done this, I think my mom would have felt more at ease.

Saige handles the RSVP list for 250+ guests, coordinates food and beverage, deejay and lighting and - her most amazing talent - the decor. Both events she handled were completely different in theme and both were equally amazing. She puts in 110% to make sure each event is handled seamlessly and goes off with a bang. Saige is always available for quick feedback and information and she stays cool as a cucumber throughout the event. Her photo booths are always a huge hit and the employees look forward to having them at each event now. I would highly recommend using A Touch of Saige Events for ANY major event you’re planning, whether corporate or personal.
