I have dealt with many electrician companies but I have never been this pleased. Keiv & Robert were here on time, super professional, pleasant and efficient! They were here on a Monday and I added another project which was easy to schedule and they were back the same week! They also had everything cleaned up when done! They even mopped!!! My employer needed three outlets installed in our warehouse, so I called Mr. Electric since they had great reviews on Angi. We told Mr. Electric that we had new employees starting and needed this project done ASAP. The following day, they had a cancellation and called us asking if we were available that day for the project. We were happy they called, and within 20 minutes, Frank N. and Joseph S.T. we’re at our office. They were both very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. Overall, I was super impressed with their work and their professionalize. I recommend Mr. Electric to anyone needing their services! We will definitely be using them for all our electric needs from here on out.

Installed a transfer switch (sub-panel) and generator plug-in for emergency power distribution during extended power outages. I interviewed and received bids from four companies and went with Mr. Electric. They were the least expensive and provided a better and more thorough approach to the installation. Two very knowledgeable young electricians provided the estimate and the installation. The job was done in a few hours. Excellent work at a better price.

Used Mr. Electric for installation of a flush mount light that had some difficult wiring we couldn’t figure out, as well as to fix a ceiling fan that stopped connecting to the light switch. Anthony was great, completed both tasks in no time. Scheduling was so easy as well. Staff is very friendly, timely and diligent regarding reminders and follow ups. Price was fair as well. The technician I spoke to was friendly and informative. He made a competent impression on me. He answered my questions and carried out the repair which was to replace an outside GFCI power outlet and cover. There were two things that I was not satisfied with. The first was that they did not caulk around the outlet box. The second thing was that the enclosure they gave me was the most basic and inexpensive one that you can get at Home Depot. It didn’t open right, and was flimsy as well. This repair was not cheap. But I knew if it was a good company, they would make it right, and that they did. They took care of it the first thing the next morning and gave me a much better enclosure. Honestly, those things seem minor but when you’re dealing with electricity, it has to be right. The not caulking around the outlet oversight was a bit surprising to me because that’s very important.. I understand these things happen and they did make it right. The box enclosure being in my opinion sub-par was a disappointment. Yes, it may have served the purpose well enough but it was a cheap piece of junk that cost them like $8. But when I look at the enclosure, the finished piece if you will, it represents the quality of the job and the company as a whole. This repair was surprisingly expensive.. I don’t use electricians much at all so I don’t know how competitive their pricing is. But I am sure there was a decent amount of profit built in. I don’t understand why a company would want to skimp on that part (the enclosure) as it’s what people see and use when they need to use the outlet. Maybe they think people don’t notice or care but I do. That said I’d still give them a shot. Just make sure you are satisfied with the repair, no matter who you hire. These guys ultimately did right by us.

We had Mr Electric install an interlock switch for a generator hook-up at our panel. They were everything you expect/want in a contractor...professional, on-time, efficient, and completed the job thoroughly...something that seems to be lacking from most FL contractors. Current insurance companies have a certain dislike for Federal Pacific breaker panels so this precipitated our panel change out. Our home was built in 1960 with two 100 amp main disconnects on the outside and two panels on the inside. The meter box was changed to a single 200 amp disconnect and the inside to a single 200 amp panel with a new 50 amp range feed and surge protector. It was an extensive operation and our home also has a roof with a 2/12 pitch making it everyone’s favorite to crawl around in! I was home and available to answer any questions installers Frank and Drew might have during the 2-1/2 day gauntlet. I have been in the construction trade myself for over forty years so I know when I’m dealing with people that know what they’re doing and are not afraid to work. From the moment they stepped foot on our property till the moment they left, they were focused on getting the job done. Dealing with these young men reassure you that there is hope for the trades in America. Everyone we dealt with; Eric, Doug, Angel, Frank, Drew, exemplified professionalism and integrity! I would HIGHLY recommend Mr Electric of Lutz and one more thing, the roof seal on the weather head was amazing … no roofer could have done a better job. Stellar job guys!!

Wonderful experience with Kiev from Mr. Electric. One day before Hurricane Ian hit Kiev arrived promptly to install a generator with a transfer switch and an inlet plug. He tested the generator for us multiple times and made sure that it was functional prior to leaving. Kiev was kind, hardworking, professional and clean (he swept and mopped prior to leaving.) We are so grateful to Kiev and Mr. Electric for coming out at the eleventh hour in terrible weather and getting this job done for us.

Wow, I can't say enough good things about our experience with Keiv. The context is very important; as of Monday 9/26, Hurricane Ian was headed directly towards Tampa. I somehow was able to secure a generator but I needed an electrician to install it. I called Mr. Electric and they said someone will be out between 2pm-5pm the next day (Tuesday.) Getting an electrician at this time also was challenging, but Mr. Electric came through. Keiv arrived at 3:30pm and didn't leave until close to 9pm (Cody came by an assisted at one point as well and was extremely helpful). They installed an outdoor outlet, which connected inside to a second electrical panel, which was connected to our current panel. This allowed us to switch to the new panel and use the power from the generator once the generator was turned on. We have a new born and a freezer FULL of breast milk that we did not want to loose! (once the milk thaws its only good for 24 hours). We can't thank Keiv and the Mr. E team enough for coming through for us at the 11th hour! They were kind, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Have problems in my area with a lot of power outages. Over the course of a few years, I've had too many electronics go bad: a Wii console, a Roku, control board on a refrigerator, control board on a range, and my programmable thermastat. Called Mr Electric, they recommended a surge protector on the panel to protect the whole house. Haven't had a problem since. I will always do this in every house I ever own in this area.

I had John M. install a ceiling fan in my rental condo but there was no existing electric so he had to get creative and ran power from my hard wired smoke detector (concrete slab ceiling so dropping electric from above not possible). He had to run conduit to conceal the wiring as best as possible and took the time to match the conduit to the ceiling color and his lines were clean and straight. Excellent work. Competitor wanted to destroy my crown moulding and cut unnecessary holes in the walls. I was so pleased then I had John come to my house and install an exterior receptacle on my patio. Once again he had to get creative and take power from an interior light switch and ran through my concrete wall. Plum and clean lines and looks fantastic. John explains everything, is friendly, and cleans up afterward. Thanks John!

These days not often does one encounter a company or business that the impact of their exceptional professionalism, customer service and responsive communications lasts longer and well beyond after the job has been completed. My experience with Mr. Electric of Lutz was such and it compels me to write this detailed review. Right from my first call, I encountered Ms. Kristy with her professional and responsive communications in setting up a time for a quote. I was kept informed when their technician was running late which I appreciated. Mr. Kief showed up, answered all our questions, gave us suggestions. This was a job for installing a chandelier on a 24 foot ceiling and would need specialized scaffolding. They emailed me a quote that day itself. After answering additional questions I set up an installation date and time. Throughout this process and the day before as well as the day of, I was texted and called with updates. They honored my request of sending me the same technician Mr. Kief and this time he had assistance of Mr. Mills. Both of them were deliberately slow taking measurements, careful and methodical in bringing the heavy, robotic Genie scaffolding into our house (see pics). Just to be safe they even removed our main door. They needed more assistance so they contacted their supervisor and explained to us while patiently waiting. The owner of the company Mr. Eric and his supervisor Mr. Alan showed up. All of them worked like a team in getting the Genie unit into and out of the house. The job was completed to our satisfaction and we are grateful for that. It was nice to chat with the owner and learn that this is a family run business. That is reflected in how their employees act and are supported to make the right decisions. Highly impressive and well done!

We had Mr. Electric install some outdoor outlets at our family's business. The quote process, scheduling, and payment were simple and efficient. The techs were on time, courteous, professional, and not only provided quality work, but did so in a timely manner. The bid Mr. Electric provided was a little more expensive than other bids, however, their ability to get us a bid within 24 hours, and the work scheduled and done within days, and at the most convenient time for us and our business, more than made up for any cost difference. One wall in my house didn’t have any power and it turns out it was because I had one outlet that was rusted from moisture coming from the exterior wall, one that was melted and one that was cracked. They came in, found the problem, switched out the outlets and double checked the other outlets in my house. One additional outlet failed so they fixed that too. Everything was done in a matter of about an hour. They double checked my smoke detectors too and are going to send me an estimate to update those since they are about 10 years old and add a surgical panel to my circuit breaker so that my house is up to date electrical wise, especially with hurricane season here. They were professional, gave great customer service and I now have power back in that wall! Will definitely be using their services again!

My kitchen lights flickered off and then my pantry and laundry room lights were on but dim, no matter what. I set up an appointment and then Monday morning I was given a time frame of when they'd arrive, they were able to resolve the issue quickly and informed me of the situation. I had a GREAT experience with this company! I sent a message through their website regarding the work I needed and they contacted me within a few minutes! Kristi (I hope I remembered her name correctly!) was very friendly and reassuring. She explained everything thoroughly and made my appt for the next a.m.- when I needed it. I received email, text and phone call notification from Mike when he was on the way. He arrived right on time and got right to work. Mike explained the issues he found and gave recommendations and options- NO HIGH PRESSURE, which anyone would appreciate! He replaced two outlets for me and even fixed my kitchen light that had come loose from the ceiling but didn't need any electrical work! Mike was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He cleaned up any wires or dust and things looked great when he was done. The cost was very reasonable for the work I needed done too. First, let me start by saying I had at least 6 contractors bid the job. Mr. Electric was not the lowest bid. They were the most professional, knowledgeable and very fair on pricing. Eric, the owner was extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy and kept to the time schedule, something hard to find in any contractor. Keiv and Donovan, the gentlemen that installed my panel and two drops were professional, knowledgeable courteous and left the work area spotless. Even the city inspector commented on the quality of their work and attention to detail. I live in Temple Terrace, which is known for very strict inspectors and for them to give Kiev and Donovan's work a compliment, which they did, is a real feather in their hat! I highly recommend this company for their fairness, reliability and skill sets.

He came into my home and I explained the issues I was having in the kitchen. He then reassured me that he would find the issue and resolve it. However after some time Donovan was able to diagnose the issue and after some time he was able to get all my receptacles working. We even went ahead and had new recessed lighting added as well. I have to say it is hard to find quality work these days until I called Mr electric. I had a few projects that needed done and Mr Electric was first the only one to respond to giving an estimate. Two other companies didn't show . mike the tech was straightforward and the estimates where fair. He explained and even gave options. The day he arrived it was raining due to the tropical storm eta..we also had a plumber here at the same time. So they had to coordinate together based on the one particular project I had going on. Mike and his partner worked all day in the rain till his office pulled them in due to safety reasons. He really wanted to finish but was unable due to weather. Came back next day and In spite of some obstacles because of the type of project he worked a full day and finished. The whole time kept us informed . his personality was awesome and his partner too. He came back the next week for another smaller project which in some ways had few obstacles but he came through again...today there was another small hiccup and I called and they sent someone right away and it was rectified. I cannot say enough about Mr. Electric...except thanks and you will have repeat business from us ...and I will tell everyone...

After a brief introduction, he explained the cost for diagnosing the problem It didn't take him too long to figure out why my living room circuit kept tripping, and why my outdoor receptacle on the radio was not working. Before he arrived I had "no power" issues in three areas. When he was done they were all solved and thankfully they were so minor that it only cost $10 more than the diagnosis price. No way I would have been able to solve those issues on my own so it was worth it!
