Mike and Travis of Generator Supercenter did a phenomenal job installing a Generac Whole Home Generator system. They did all the electrical installation professionally and functionally perfect. They set and fastened the Generac Generator on the vendor provided concrete slab and wired it to the new breaker box that they provided and installed. I can't say enough good things about the installation experience.

One of our customers needed service work done on two large generators for their farm and unfortunately they were in the Impact Zone of Hurricane Ian. It was mission critical for this customer to have power, The owner of Generator Supercenter TampaBay, came out same day with his crew to get the job done after speaking with their dispatch team. I have seen alot in my time in this business, it is very rare to find a company like GSC that delivers quality solutions with the ability to be flexible in emergency scenarios and have excellent response times. Generator SuperCenter, has won a customer for life and I will refer everyone I know to use them for all New Installs and Service work.

Generator Supercenter and the Entire Team Are Awesome! Very happy we chose them for our generator installation. I would also recommend using their suggested Gas companies as we really like our person still but there were major coordination issues that definitely would have been avoided by using their recommendation. I got quotes from two other companies and they were by far the best for the exact same system and definitely the shortest expected installation time and they absolutely beat that. I wouldn't think about using anybody else.

I LOVE THESE GUYS! I recently purchased a new home that came with a generator. I totally forgot about it until “ HURRICANE 🌀 IAN “ decided to show up! I panicked and called Saturday. The owner Gregg answered right away and went through everything with me. He educated me on my generator. Then he quickly added me to his already packed schedule before the storm was to arrive. I am talking about a 3 day window. The tech came out and did everything promised to perfection . I can’t thank them enough. Installing a whole house generator, large propane tanks and orchestrating permits, etc is no easy task! But, the team from Generator Supercenter made it look so easy at my house. From my initial call into the company to final sign off, they were professional, prompt, on time and appropriately communicative through the whole process (I always knew what was next and when it was going to happen). After hearing horror stories from friends who contracted with a generic electrician, we decided to go with a specialist - someone who does this all day and every day. After witnessing the ease with which they got this job done for us, we definitely made the right call! These guys are pros, do not hesitate to call them if you want / need a generator! We called Generator Superstore to have a Mobile Link unit installed. The service manager came out and installed the unit. He also determined the control panel was bad and changed that at the same time. We are very happy with this business. The response time was quick. These guys are great! I had an odd problem with a generator interface module (Smart Management Module). Most companies I called either didn’t know what I was talking about or would not sell to the public. They knew exactly what the problem was and came the next day ad fixed it quickly. Generator Super Center of Tampa provided the absolute best service on my Generac whole house generator. The service manager Ryle was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. My husband and I are senior citizens on a fixed income and the owner Gabe understood that. We needed a special part that had to be ordered from Generac, the manufacturer. As such the service manager returned a few days later and made the repair. The owner Gabe is very professional. He stopped pass our house to make sure that me and my husband were being taken care of. No owner in any business has ever done that. Gabe went above and beyond his call of duty. He DID NOT overcharge us like most companies often do and most likely would have taken advantage of us. One generator company who only works on Generac generators wanted to charge us a $250 trip, parts, the cost to repair, and the shipping cost. Gabe is a family man and he realized and saw that we couldn’t afford a trip charge, repair and pay for parts. That would have required us to pay over $900 just to get our generator fixed. Gabe’s price to make the repair was fair and reasonable. We have health issues and need to have electricity ROUND THE CLOCK. When living in FL one must always be prepared for power outages and as such we had to get our generator repaired. We really appreciate Gabe and his company and even the employees. We will always use Generator Super Center of Tampa to service our generator. Yes, We highly recommend this company.

I contacted Generator Supercenter of Tampa after I had our Generac generator installed in 2018 and was looking for annual service for our Generac. They were so helpful to get my Generac serviced. Also I recently had a power surge at my home during a thunder storm and we had no power and my Generac wasn’t running either. They contacted their service tech, Ryle, and he was at my home within an hour. Everyone is always very professional on the phone ( usually speak with BT or Brian) and very helpful. All of the service techs that have been to my home are very knowledgeable (Ryle is the most recent tech). I highly recommend Generator Supercenter of Tampa.

Colton was very professional and knowledgeable about all the workings of my generator and switch. He shared some insights on the work he was going to be performing before he got started. He completed all the work in a timely manner and tested it all in front me as he gave me more insights on what to do in case of an emergency. He also shared with me some awesome monitoring features that I could add at anytime in the future. Today Colton arrived on the dot of the time he committed to arriving for our scheduled appointment, including a 45 minute call ahead courtesy call. The purpose of the appointment was for my generator's annual service. Since I had never watched the annual service in the 3 years I have owned my generator, I asked if he would mind my watching for the purpose of my education. I found Colton to be pleasant, professional, and very accommodating, while I literally stood over his shoulder. I also elected to have the battery replaced since the original battery was 3 years old and badly corroded. Again, Colton was very engaging given that ironically, Hurricane Nicole is due to arrive tomorrow, and I wanted to have peace of mind that everything would be in working order. Colton was also very efficient in completely cleaning the interior of the generator. He also was thorough while ensuring that the entire system worked by default. As a result, I tipped Colton and immediately contacted his management to express my appreciation. Once again, I was impressed because they answered their phone. I requested that Colton be my service rep for future service appointments. In addition, prior to the appointment today, my neighbor had asked me for help with who he could call to have his generator serviced, at which point I suggested Generator Supercenter of Tampa Bay. Thank you, GSofTB. It's nice to see that good old professional ethics are still alive in a time when they're a rare commodity!

I’m writing this review at 1:34 a.m. on Wednesday 9/28/22 with hurricane Ian about to make landfall in a few hours. The reason I’m doing this now is that Gabe Dunlap, Director of Operations, and two of his amazing electricians , Colton and Ryle are just wrapping up an emergency service call to ensure I have standby power in advance of the hurricane. This is critical as we are the evacuation destination of choice for a number of family members that live in flood zones, including a 66 year old with emphazema and copd who requires electricity for his breathing device. One year ago I spent $13,000 on a new Generac 22kw generator to protect us during these storms. 5 days before hurricane Ian is to hit Tampa my new generator failed and showed error code 1902. Colton got here after dark having worked for close to 24 hours and diagnosed the problem as a bad stator which could not be fixed on site. He contacted Gabe to solve my problem and Gabe and Rule showed up at 10:00 pm to install a new generator. Gabe, Colton and Ryle stayed until 1:30 am working without a break to take care of my problem. This is the most amazing customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life, and I say this with complete seriousness. I also want to show my appreciation to Ashley Covelli, who worked tirelessly to get this scheduled. This type of service makes reputations and Gabe and crew have made Generator Supercenter incredible. Do yourself a favor and call these people when you need a generator. This is an AMAZING company with professional, knowledgeable technicians and caring, responsive ownership. I used GSC to install my whole house generator almost a year ago. I was thoroughly impressed and overly satisfied with their pricing, quality of work and product. My experience with them today just cements why I'll never buy another generator from anyone else (I've had 3 installed in my lifetime). After a service call today, I received a text message from the owner himself. There was nothing wrong with the service, I just emailed the company with some questions. Gabe, one of the owners, texted and asked if it was ok to call (it was after 9p) and he did with my approval, answering my questions and ensuring that I was satisfied. WOW!!! I'm a business owner myself and can certainly respect EXCELLENT customer service and customer concern when I see it. If you use anyone else for your generator install, you're making a mistake.

Our current generator provider, Suncoast Power, could not get our generator fixed and kept putting us off for over a month and half. Then Ian developed in the Atlantic and we needed our generator working for the approaching storm. We insisted Suncoast Power come out and repair our year old generator but unfortunately they still did not have the parts. We called B.T. at Generator SuperCenter, they provided the parts even though we were not their original clients. ***update*** They got someone to me even though they are slammed to the max due to the hurricane. Colton came out and checked that my generator is working properly and he didn't just look at it press a button and say yeah it's good. He tested everything and ran through steps a company that installed my service never did. Im in no way in heck affiliated with them. This an honest post about a company that will huge in our area with no doubt they will be the exact same as they are now. A BIG shout out to Ashley who has a heart made of gold. She is so great!! -- He made Greg was beyond what expectations are for a significant weather situation effecting the whole state and as far as overwhelming situations are to companies. He didn't say there's no way and hang up. He said it's 50/50 and said I might come down and do it myself, but again he said he didn't know based off the situation i was stunned when i had called 15 companies including large oneswho told me no. He gave me some sort a possibility, in this situation last minute you had no hope it seemed gave me some. I wish there were more Greg's in the world giving your neighbor help while hes busy with fixing his car while watching 2 babies, freezing cold because your clothes are still in the dryer. Juggling 12 swords and still saying it's possible I mean let that really sink.

I am very pleased with the work which was completed by the crew of Generator Supercenter. They were courteous, professional, and diligent in completing the job on the day they promised. After the inspectors signed off that the work was 100%, the crew chief came back by and turned the generator on, let it run (to make sure everything came on properly), and made sure I had ALL my questions answered before leaving. From the sales, to the financing, and all the workers who installed the generator - this is a "top notch" company.

Follow-up Less than 24 hours after we posted our initial review, the owner contacted us. He cares. And we believe in second chances. Incompetent and arrogant 1 - During the generator installation, our electric power was disconnected for about 15 minutes (standard procedure, plus the crew gave us plenty of notice). However, when the electricity was restored, our internet service was NOT. This means we were without internet service, AND then it took the Spectrum technician over 3 hours to repair. (He had “never seen anything like it”.) When we reported the problem to Generator SuperCenter, the Supervisor said, “Well, I wasn’t there for the installation, but I’ve got pictures of what our crew did, and it’s fine. We didn’t disconnect it.” 2 – After the County conducted the Inspections (as required for Permits), Generator SuperCenter called to schedule our last appointment and collect our last payment. When we asked about the status of the Inspections, the Supervisor’s reply was “Who knows? Who cares?” We care. We paid for the Permits (included in this project of over $10,000), and Generator SuperCenter applied for the Permits, Generator SuperCenter scheduled the Inspections for the Permits, and Generator SuperCenter received the first copies of Final Inspections. Since the Supervisor didn’t know and didn’t care, we contacted the Account Manager. His email reply: “I found out today that the property owner is the only person who can get a copy of the Inspections. You have to call the County office”. No. No, we don’t; please send copies. Two days later, Generator SuperCenter’s Permitting Office emailed pdfs to us of the Final Inspections, plus the Permit applications.

I called yesterday for an urgent repair. They worked me into the schedule for today. I received two updates, one letting me know the technician was on the way and another saying he arrived. Ryle immediately knew the issue and quickly replaced the defective component. He did a quick inspection of my generator and recommended a battery replacement. It was a rear overdue, so, I guess I was on borrowed time. Ryle replaced the battery, quickly and efficiently. All of this was done in about 45 minutes. My generator failed and and I tried to contact Generx where i bought the generator 6 times. After leaving multiple messages I still got no response. I have marine fish tanks and was worried I'd lose all my corals and fish (thousands of dollars). I then called generator supercenter and a service manager, Ryle NaIdu, was at my house working on my generator in 90min. I spent all this money at Generx and I can't even get a call back. Go with Generator Supercenter if you need a generator or generator service.

Ryle Came to install a modular link. Thank goodness for humans his perseverance. We found the connection wasn't even connected to the generator. The simple steps that I was supposed to be able to take were far from my abilities and technology. Ryle was able to set up everything only to find the generator doesn't like 5G. It might seem unusual for another Generac Generator Dealer to write a review, but current customers and potential customers should be aware of the professionalism that was shown in this case. The last two years have proven to be difficult in any service business, the generator sales and service business is no exception. In the past, product was readily available. Permitting, manpower, and subcontractor availability was mostly what delayed the process of providing generators to the public. Since the Covid pandemic began, everyone has been affected by delay after delay in receiving products of any kind; the generator industry is no exception. Jack Joyner Heating and AC Company has been in business since 1990 ,serving mainly the Pinellas County area and has been a long time Generac Generator dealer. This last summer manufacturing and shipping delays were at an all-time high and shipping dates constantly changed on a weekly basis. It got to the point where generators were placed without Transfer Switches at homes, so gas lines, whether natural or propane could be installed and hooked up. Unfortunately, this was being done based on the assumption that transfer switches were being shipped out shortly after the generators. In several cases, weeks turned into 5 or 6 months - which is why this review is being written. JJAC was contacted by a Generac representative who said that they had reached out to Gabe at Generator Supercenter of Tampa Bay and that they may be able to help. We reached out to Gabe immediately and he said that they would be willing to let us have the two transfer switches we had been waiting on for months to ship in. In a time where most dealers are forced to hang on to every product and accessory not knowing when the next delivery will be made - the generosity and professionalism that was shown was amazing. When Gabe was asked why Generator Supercenter of Tampa Bay was willing to part with these transfer switches, he simply stated it is about the customers and not about being competitors. Because of the generosity shown, two customers who have been waiting for months and months can now have their generator installations completed. Jack Joyner Heating and AC Company prides themselves on excellent customer service, it is so nice to see another company, nevertheless a competitor in the industry, also put the customer first. Jack Joyner Heating and AC wants to thank Generator Supercenter of Tampa Bay, especially Gabe for their help in providing great customer service to a fellow competitor and ultimately to Generac customers.

I just completed the process of having a whole house generator installed and I rate this company 5 stars because they got it right. From the very beginning of the process I was assigned to BT who explained the process, kept me up to date with the progress, and finalized everything once inspection was passed by the county to include maintenance and warranty of the generator. The process - the generator was coordinated and delivered, tank installed and attached to the generator, inspection 1 - passed. Fuel was then coordinated and delivered, a test was conducted, and then Mike sealed the deal with OUTSTANDING training on how the generator actually works, maintenance, etc. The county inspection #2 was today and everything passed inspection the first time. I highly recommend this company for your future generator needs.

I would absolutely recommend this company for several reasons. But the number one reason is the people. Everyone I have dealt with, including the owner personally, has been fantastic. They were honest, professional, reliable, reasonably priced. In fact the original generator I was looking for was higher prices then the larger one that they recommended and at a cheaper price. They were honest enough to let me know this and I’m glad I made that choice. I purchased the 22kW and so far it’s been working great. We have already had a couple of power outages and the generator has kicked in each and every time. The best decision I made was to install a full house generator and selecting this company as my choice of who to purchase the equipment from.

Our generator quit working and we could not get a response from the company who has our service contract. It was July 5th and Tropical Storm Elsa was headed our way. A friend recommended Generator Supercenter. When I called, I received a call back from Ashley and BT. Technically, they were closed for the holiday. However, they were able to send Mike, and he repaired our generator. Customer service appears to be paramount with this company. Initially, there were closed and said they probably couldn't get to me before the storm. Yet, they had the courtesy to contact me and let me know this. Then they continued to work on my issue and sent a technician. They replaced my battery and my generator is ready for Elsa! Thank you Ashley, BT, and Mike!

From the time I spoke with Victoria to schedule the annual maintenance on my 22 KW Generac generator, to ("Big") Mike performing the annual service, to working with "T" to resynchronize the wireless app connection, and to meeting with Gabe today for warranty issues, I could not be more pleased with the high level of service provided by Generator Supercenter of Tampa! There is no magic formula, they just provide good old fashioned quality service, and they are a pleasure to deal with all the while of meeting with, and/or speaking with them, including the initial conversation I had with B.T. I have been wanting a generator for a while and after a lot of research I ended up getting a great deal on a 22KW from generator supercenter. I had two main reasons for choosing them. 1- they were the best price for what I was looking for, and 2- they are the only company that offered 24/7 monitoring. The crew came out and got it all done one day. They were very professional, polite, and they answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend them.

First off, Veteran Owned Business. They sell and support a Fantastic Product!! I recently moved to Tampa and one of the first things we looked for was a generator for our new house. Zach came out and quoted us an install and compared to the other quotes we received, Generator Supercenter had the best options and prices for what we wanted. 10 year warranty, a buried 500 gallon propane tank, surge suppressor and mobil link so our generator is monitored for problems. Another selling point was All Generator Supercenter does is Generac Generator installations. From the time we paid our deposit till we had our Generator installed, Generator Supercenter kept in touch with constant updates. The only issue we had was getting our propane tank safety checked and serviced. BUT, that was my fault because I went through Amerigas for my propane service. Please do yourself a favor and have Generator Supercenter do everything for your generator install!!! Do Not have a third party do your safety Inspection and initial propane service. Because I used Amerigas, my generator install took another 2 months to be finished because Amerigas kept screwing up. Once I finally got my propane tank filled, Generator Supercenter had me up and running in under a week. If you're going to get a Generac, buy it from Generator Supercenter of Tampa. You will not be disappointed!! *Zach is fantastic, he double checks his measurements and explains everything out so you are fully aware of what you are buying, where it will be located and how everything will be routed. Also, There was not any hidden fees or charges. *BT schedules your install and keeps you up to date about your complete schedule from permits to operation and certification. *Elliot, Alex, Jose #1 & Jose #2 are Fantastic!! They were non-stop go from the time they arrived until the job was done. Couldn't be happier. *The guys who installed the Propane Tank were really quick and did their best to ensure my yard was left the way they arrived. Side Note, if you want the dirt from your tank install, tell them. It's a lot of dirt you can use to level your yard. I highly recommend Generator Supercenter of Tampa!!

Great company to work with. I found them at a home show and signed up for the maintenance and monitoring program. They have been on top of everything, we discovered a few issues that have been diagnosed and resolved giving my family peace of mind goin into hurricane season. We purchased our generator thru another company that left us high and dry, no service, no support, just took our money and ran, turn and burn. Even though we did not purchase our actual generator thru them, I have already recommended generator supercenter to friends and family. In my mind a generator is a livelong relationship, when you need it most you want a company that you can rely on to be there to support you.

Back in February, I was trying to beat the purchase deadline to get the 10 year Generac warranty. I contacted Generator Supercenter and was able to get a home consult within a day or two. In parallel with that I spoke with Dave Martin, one of the owners, at length about service and monitoring. I was happy to hear they did both. Their monitoring is done through a cellular connection which gives redundancy if your wifi is out. Their proactive monitoring sends an email once per week indicating all events that occurred in the previous week. I digress. One of their sales guys, Ryan Draper came out to the house and gave me sizing information about the generator. We decided a 22K would work. To make sure the numbers worked out, Ryan suggested an automatic delay and cut off for the pool pump in case the generator's load became too high. I made a deposit for the generator that day after he answered my myriad of questions. The longest wait was to get the permits approved by the County and our HOA. Once those were approved, the generator installation began within the week. The only hiccup we had was getting the gas installed, but that was resolved in short order. The generator was cranked up and has been exercising every week since them. I am happy with the entire process and would recommend Generator Supercenter of Tampa Bay to anyone who wants a turn key installation from start to finish.

My parents and I first spoke with the owner a month ago about partially powering their townhouse, including their high-efficiency downstairs air conditioner, with a Generac 5K portable diesel generator wired through the electrical panel. We knew the arrangement might not work with the AC, but decided to proceed with the purchase to power refrigerators and electronic devices, and to keep the lights on. After installation today, not only did the 5K system accomplish our minimum goals, it powered the AC, as well! Now, we have almost all the advantages of a standby generator without the space requirements or need for HOA approval--at a third of the cost. Experienced a problem with home generator during a automatic generator check - generator did not activate and posted an error code. Called the Supercenter to report the problem and because the folks there know of my situation (bedridden wife in hospital bed with low air loss mattress) Ryle, the service manager, said he would come right out to investigate. Within 2 hours he was at the house, diagnosed the problem and got the generator operating. In addition he did a system check and conducted a stress load test of the system to ensure everything was ready to go. Generator was installed about 3.5 years ago (by Supercenter) and all maintenance services have been conducted by Supercenter personnel. I have only positive comments regarding their services.
