They are very professional and kept me abreast on the details of each item that they worked on. Today was the first of two days work. Our electricians were very professional, texted when they were on the way, explained any choices we needed to make. Recently we purchased a house in Sun City Center, Florida We our updating our lighting in our bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room. They also are replacing a bad switch to an outlet in our bedroom. First Bryan Hindman came for a walk through estimate. The fee for this is deducted from the work order. His lighting suggestions were better than our requests. He then writes up an estimate. Then his office sends Bryan's estimate by email for us to approve with our method of payment. He offers divided payment options to help spead out the costs. The last step is to make an appointment for electrical work. We highly recommend this family owned company. The electricians cleaned up as they finished each area. There will be some drywall work afterwards that we can to ourselves and/or hire another professional. It's really great to find a dependable company we can recommend with confidence.

We had an electrical circuit loose power (a GFI circuit) and could not figure out why since we could not find the GFI outlet on the circuit (outlet was covered up with some crates). Electrician arrived and indicated the circuit must have a GFI outlet. After a short search (moving some crates around), we found the GFI outlet (which was indeed tripped) and reset it. Thanks for the help but we feel the cost was a little excessive for the amount of work done, or not needed, in this case. I understand that a service charge would apply for this but we had no idea what it would be upfront. Thanks again for your help.

He gave me the quote very quickly and it was a much better price than the "do it all" contractor we got a quote from. We got on his schedule for a few weeks out. Communication prior to appointment day I called and left a voice mail. My call was returned in adequate time. The next appointment was a couple weeks out. After we set the appointment, I would get reminder emails of my appt date and time. On the appt date, I received a text that the tech was on their way. Tech showed up right on time. Took time to understand the issue. Was very thorough and explained what was going on. Tech had to determine the routing of the wires through the bedroom and then discovered that the attic light switch was also on the same circuit, which was causing the issue. I would definitely use them again

We called Bryan Hindman Electric because a breaker in our panel would not reset. Service was very good, very nice people and they completed the task in less than 5 minutes. The reason we are not giving them 5 stars is because we weren’t made aware the charge for them to come to the house was $185 flat for the first hour, then $125 after that plus the cost of the breaker and the total came to $300. I had to call the office after they left for a breakdown of the cost as it was not on the invoice, and it is still rather unclear exactly how it came to $300 after the conversation with office staff. We should have asked for an estimate first which is our fault as it turned out to be extremely expensive.

I could not be happier with this company. Everything, from the time of the estimate to final completion was done promptly and competently. Charlene worked especially hard on scheduling-- once because of a delay on the part of the panel manufacturer and another time because of rain. Charlene was right on top of it and made sure I was kept well informed and things done on my schedule, not theirs.

WOW! First, you never expect home repairs to be on time because jobs never are as easy as you'd expect. These guys were 8 minutes early! Brian's guys arrived a little before the appointment time. Within 15 minutes they found the issue with my exterior lights. I had other projects for them to do that included, installing a new junction box for a receptacle in my gym ceiling for a TV, install a new junction box for a ceiling fan in the gym and finally install a junction box for an additional fan in our master bedroom. The gym's ceiling receptacle and ceiling fan box had to have new wiring installed from the attic. Everything I mentioned above, finding our electrical short outside, installing two new exterior lanterns, wiring a new receptacle for a TV in the ceiling and the two wired boxes for new ceiling fans was completed in less than two hours. I am a retired professional inspector with N.A.C.E. Certification; that being said, I personally would not hesitate to recommend Brian Hindman Electric to anyone for any electrical work.

Brian didn't charge me for a visit because it was a simple fix where other people would charge you anyway. I had him give me an estimate to put my microwave on a seperate circut and have a surge protector put in and have him replace my outside porch light. I had him do everything and was very happy with his work. I will only call him for any other electrical things. If you live in the Brandon, Valrico, Riverview area, CALL HIM! You won't be disappointed.

We have been trying to figure out why our GFI kept tripping when our sprinklers came on.
