Christopher AdamsI want to tell everyone that Addison's Auto repair is a wonderful place to have work on your vehicles. They are very wonderful honest people that truly care about their customers. Here is my story. My wife and son where traveling back across country (coming from Tucson, AZ to Southern Indiana) and stopped in New Orleans to see the sites for a couple of days. Just as she arrived in New Orleans, her dodge 3500 4x4 diesel truck had the clutch go out and stranded her and my son there in New Orleans. Being very stressed about what to do, I started calling every mechanic shop around to see if they could help us out and replace the clutch in our truck. After calling 13 shops, Addison's was one of 2 shops that said they could even do the job let alone get started on the job at hand the same day. I explained my situation to all the shops I called and no one could fit us in so it looked like my wife and son were going to be stranded for at least a week in New Orleans until I could get fitted in somewhere and that is if they could even do the Job. Well I was very discouraged at this point until I called Addison's Auto Repair and told them my situation. We talked about the work needed on the truck and they were able to make magic happen for us. They got the clutch replacement on our truck started the same day in the afternoon once i had a wrecker deliver the truck to them around 2pm. They sent me pictures of the progress, the failed parts, and they keep me updated throughout the whole process. They had the truck finished and working again just after lunch the following day so my wife and son could get back on the road to come home. The people at Addison's are all wonderful caring people and so very respectful to the situation my family was in and if it were not for Addison's Auto Repair I don't know what we would have done. I want to thank everyone at Addison's Auto Repair from the bottom of my heart for all the help they provided. On top of all of this, Addison's was $800 dollars cheaper than the only other shop I found that would even do the clutch replacement. The people at Addison's are amazing people and may they all be blessed for truly caring and helping us out when we needed it most. Thanks again for being the best shop I have ever had the pleasure of working with on my vehicle's repairs. When we make it back in the area, I will make it priority to come shake the hand of everyone involved with getting my stranded wife and son back on the road to be able to come home.
Nick WVery helpful, he knows cars better than the dealerships do... after 3 months with my van being broken down at the dodge dealership and they have replaced fuse box, ignition switch, computer, and anything they can think of... the van still didn't work or if starts it will stay running even if you remove the keys and disconnect the battery... I was referred to Mr. michael and after towing the vehicle to his shop. 3 hours later van is running again and it has been great for 9 months now. Highly recommended.
