I would highly recommend HCS Electrical! Houston was very responsive when initially calling to inquire on installing a few light fixtures in our home. He came out the same week to install 4 new light fixtures and he did a fantastic job! After the light fixtures were installed, he even took the time to fix and replace two light switches in our home. We love our new light fixtures and would recommend Houston to anyone who needs an electrician!

Houston has been to our home multiple times now. I think we may need to set him up with his own room! He’s replaced almost all of the light fixtures and ceiling fans and also installed some light fixtures that required cutting drywall and installing new boxes, moving outlets and switches to a different spot in the wall. He is very responsive and helpful and gives good feedback to my thousands of ideas. He looks ahead at what we may need to support adding lighting or appliances that will draw additional electricity. Houston came out to our home to run power into our crawl space for a dehumidifier. He was very friendly and professional from the first time he called all of the way through the end of the job. We also had been looking for a reliable electrician to install a dedicated power outlet in our garage for a chest freezer. I recently had my crawlspace encapsulated and had a dehumidifier installed. Prior to its installation, a dedicated outlet had to be wired in to power it. The day after it was installed, coincidentally my refrigerator stopped working. I thought initially it was likely the refrigerator and not a wiring issue, after all, it was installed by a professional electrician. I had a certified GE technician come out and found that the problem was a faulting board in the refrigerator. I replaced the board and the refrigerator still had no power. GE came back out and later found that the issue wasn't the refrigerator and that the outlet that previously worked for three years wasn't pulling enough power all of a sudden. I then assumed there must have been a problem with the outlet that was installed during the encapsulation process. The encapsulation company sent out Houston (my electrician) once again who quickly diagnosed the problem. Although a coincidence, I had a faulty breaker on my breaker panel that was tied to the outlet my refrigerator plugged into. It had nothing to do with the outlet installation. During the whole process of diagnosing the issue, Houston walked me through step by step his methodology and even showed me the faulty breaker. It was clearly faulty and the culprit. Houston swapped out the breaker and my refrigerator is now running well. Houston is a friendly guy who clearly knows his stuff. He kept me informed and even taught me a thing or two. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Houston for any of your electrical needs. Thanks again!

I called HCS when my tenant was having issues with the microwave. Since it was causing issues with the breaker I needed someone to determine if it was the breaker/outlet causing the problem or if the microwave was messed up. Houston coordinated directly with my tenant and was onsite within 24 hours. He ran diagnostics on the circuit, tested the breaker, inspected the panel wiring, and outlet wiring. All of his tests proved the microwave was messed up and the circuit breaker and outlet were in good shape and working properly. The work was done right, quickly, and at a good price. Not more you can ask for! Thanks Houston!
