Saturday morning I found that someone had drained my gas tank, not thinking that they can't be siphoned anymore. Put some gas in and watched it pour out the bottom of the tank as someone had drilled into it. A neighbor recommended I call Glen at the garage. Told him what happened, he said to bring it in on Monday (1/9) and where I could check for a used tank. He also gave me the name of a tow truck driver who could bring it in for me. I had the tank, tow driver picked up the truck and brought it there this morning. Before 3:00 today I had the call it was ready to pick up! Great guys, they went out of their way to get it done in a very timely fashion, even with a snafu along the way (not their fault). I would highly recommend Northside Garage and want to thank them very much (and especially Glen) for being such great guys!

Came in because my brake pads tore up my rotors. They were able to quickly fix the issue as well as going above and beyond by flushing my brake lines and adding new fluid for free.

My car would not start even after a jump, nothing- not even a dome light. I called Northside thinking I’d need to tow it there and get it looked at. The man who answered was incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately- he said their electric guy had just left for a month but he asked me questions about my car issue and gave me some advice on the location of things under my hood. He told me he thinks I should check a couple of things before calling a shop to avoid getting “screwed over” for high charges. I really appreciated him looking out for me. Sure enough, I applied the advice he gave me, had a friend jump my car again, and it started up just fine. All in all, I may not have needed an actual service from this company yet but I’ll 100% be taking my service there for any future auto repair needs as the short conversation on the phone was enough to assure me this company is trustworthy, reliable, reasonably priced, and fully transparent. An amazing company!

This place does good work for a reasonable price of had quite a few things done to my car here just be careful with all shops you have to watch out for them trying to take advantage of you but but definitely recommended shop if you need work done to your car

I was referred to Northside garage by my clients father because he said they do good work at reasonable prices. He was ABSOLUTELY correct!! The mechanics are nice and want to help you get you vehicle in good shape!! I've been going there every since I was referred. If you go ask for Ahmad!!

These guys are the complete opposite of what you think of when you hear "repair shop". Many people feel ripped off by their main mechanic - but come to Northside Garage because this is not how they operate. These guys know what they're talking about and make an effort to make it as affordable as possible. They are guaranteed the cheapest legit Napa certified work in the twin cities with serious attention to detail. I refuse to take my two Cadillac Escalades anywhere else as they have not only been consistently honest, responsive, and reputable, but as a backyard mechanic myself who doesn't have the room to do his own work currently - they respect me and let me get underneath and see for myself what the issues are. There is such honesty and total transparency that I couldn't bring myself to over pay and listen to the lies of many big corp shops. This is a legit place that will listen to you and work with you to help you out at an affordable rate. You won't regret it!

I went to Tires Plus because my brakes were rubbing and was told I needed calipers, pads, and rotors and was told it would cost over $2000. Of course, I was surprised but trusted him and was going to pay for the service. Fortunately, I didnt have the balance on my card and didnt want to come out of pocket, so I told him I would come back. In the meantime, I called a few friends and they told me about Northside Garage. When I called immediately I was told "there is no way you need calipers for all four tires" I was relieved but skeptical so I brought my truck in to get serviced. They were able to get me right in and upon inspection it was confirmed I only needed rotors and pads. They were able to repair my brakes and actually rewired a switch at NO CHARGE!!! Not to mention, I saved well over $1000. I will be bringing my vehicle to Northside Garage from now on. I am just glad there are people that still have integrity especially during these tough times...!!!

Highly recommend this shop. I stopped in on a weekday with a couple urgent problems. They ordered and installed a part, checked out the issues, and confirmed that one of them actually didn't require any work -- all within an hour while I sat there. The price and speed were more than satisfactory. Zero frills but my car and I are happy. Quick tip: If the garage door is closed, go in through the gray door with the address number on it. You can see it in the picture. It doesn't say "Entrance" but that is the place to go. Then, look to the right and go into the waiting room.
