Great expirence with Nordeast. Strongly recommend as they are honest, competitive prices and complete the work as agreed and follows the current codes. Nordeast has completed smaller jobs for me and are always on time and got the job done. They also updated my bathroom electrical. Communication was awesome during this project as they had to make multiple trips to complete the rough in and final work. They also coordinated the inspections with the state.

I contacted Nordeast Electric to get a new panel installed in my garage and could not be happier with the service. They scheduled time to explain the options (a new run from my house or new service from the pole) and clearly listed the costs and effort of each. They went above and beyond in helping navigate the process with Xcel for the new service from the pole and were quick in responding to questions and updates. I will definitely use Nordeast Electric again if I have another project come up. The electricians on-site and the office staff by phone and email are all excellent.

Nest camera floodlight was installed in front of house where no existing wiring existed. Cost was 835 plus 100 dollar permit totalling 935. A little high on cost but the quality of the install was good and with 2 people the install took a little over 2 hours, not to mention they left no mess and the install did not require any drywall patch work afterwards since it was done via attic wire fishing. I am happy with the quality of the job.

Nordeast Electric was very responsive, they were the first one to come out and do a quote. They were also the best price and very easy to work with, good guys. I made them trench around 100' for a swim spa, it was in the 80s and they did it happily. The final amount matched the quote, I'll definitely use them for any future electrical work.

Nordeast Electric came highly recommended on NextDoor and I can see why! We hired them to run new higher capacity wiring to a new kitchen appliance and upgrade some vintage outlets from two prongs to three prongs. The electricians were punctual, friendly, great at explaining what they were doing, and great with kids and pets. It's clear from the start that Brent cares about the details, which is exactly what I want from someone working on a system that we both expect to last many years. We decided to remodel our kitchen, and there was a ton of electrical work that needed to be done. We needed new outlets, new lights, a new sub panel, new switches, old switches moved, and a lot of rewiring as our home's existing wiring was a disaster. We are so glad we hired Nordeast Electric. Brent and his team continue to provide excellent electrical service and they are the only electricians we use. In our most recent project we had them install ceiling fans/lights in each of our bedrooms as well as recessed lighting in our kitchen. My living room power went out so I suspected the circuit breaker needed replacement. I called a couple electricians and I'd have wait about 2 weeks to get an appointment! Nordeast Electric was the easiest to talk with and ultimately instead of an appointment, I was put on stand-by. 24 hours later, they called saying an electrician would arrive in 30 minutes. A very nice electrician arrived and checked out the breakers and the wiring. He explained everything about my old circuit box and the breakers it held. Since my breakers were so old, he had to call a coworker to bring out a few from their warehouse. About 5 minutes later, the new breakers arrived and two were replaced. I am so very satisfied with all the professional help I received. I give Nordeast Electric 5 "gold" stars!!!!! Also a plus is I didn't need to pay that day. I received an invoice by email and paid online. I paid for the service call which includes one hour of labor, $195, and for two breakers. My total cost was $240. Yay, power restored to the living room within 24 hours!

Nordeast Electric helped update our kitchen from old florescent lighting to a modern look, as well as installed new outlets and updated old ones throughout our kitchen. The team was very friendly to work with and they provided a modern customer service experience - estimates and invoices were all provided and approved through an online process, text notices prior to their arrivals, etc. Most importantly to me, they took the time to talk through options and shared rationale for decisions. They were competitively priced, did the work on time, on budget and always took care to leave the work area clean. I never felt nickel and dimed or that there would be hidden fees. Jake and Austin were at the site for the better part of a week, and Bob was there for all or part of one day. All three, and especially Jake in his lead role, were very professional, responsive and knowledgeable about the work required. I very much appreciated that Jake updated me regularly on progress and fully discussed options with me when new information about the conditions they found as they learned the locations of some of the wiring. Also, I was kept fully informed of any additional costs that arose based on options that were offered based on conditions found. What could have been stressful was actually a positive experience.

We've used Nordeast Electric on about 3 occasions in our previous house and then recently at our condo where we have lived for just under a year. The list of services checked above includes work at both locations. On our recent service call, we had a fairly long list of things to be looked at, some resulting from a pre-purchase inspection and then some other things we wanted done. The electrician arrived on time and spent most of the day with us, accomplishing everything on our list. To make sure he was able to finish everything, he did call on a colleague to purchase a few needed items and bring them to our house, and stay to help with the last two projects. He then reviewed everything he had done with us. We were very satisfied with his work that day.

I want to thank your team for the work they did for us March 4th. We had a variety of electricity-related problems in our house that we have been avoiding. A number of different companies have worked on the house over the past 25+ years. Many problems resulted. Nordeast had quite a variety of challenges we asked them to repair. Their attitude was great and they explained everything they were doing and why. It was very helpful and we now have a dishwasher that works, fixtures in a portion of the house that consistently work, outlets that are updated, and a new light and a fire alarm. It was past time for us to bring in electricians who REALLY know what they are doing. We hope to do a bigger update later this year. We recommend this company without hesitation.

We bought an old home that still had a lot of knob and tube wiring along with some hack job upgrades throughout the home over the years. Lots of safety hazards and weird conduit on the walls throughout the house. We had Nordeast essentially rewire the entire home as well as upgrade us to a 150 amp panel. All of the work was very professional and the panel is organized and well labeled. They suggested some future fixes that weren't immediate safety concerns. Very highly recommend Nordeast, and specifically Brent for any electrical work.

I absolutely loved working with Nordeast! They were very prompt, communicative, fast working and left us with great results! They had to completely redo the wiring to four of our ceiling lights in our 100 year old house and they accomplished all four tasks in under a day and a half. Not only did they get all four lights working again, but they also cleaned up behind themselves and even put back our furniture! I was so impressed with how clean our home was the night between the two working days and when they finished the projects. I cannot stress this enough: they had to drill several holes in our ceiling and walls in order to complete the job and when they left there was not one speck of dust anywhere! They were also very sweet and funny. Bonus: They love cookies, so if you want to befriend these guys maybe offer some!

I said this on Facebook and I'll say it again here: this is the best electrician service in the Metro. They've been over multiple times to deal with the many problems of our 130 year old house, from removing the hook and tube wiring to installing new light fixtures in several rooms, and their work has always been exemplary. Just had Nordeast worked on replacing a floodlight, the team did an awesome job. Initially one member arrived exactly at 8am, but he found out his ladder was not long enough, he told me he will call his buddy to come with a longer ladder and said he won’t charge anything while waiting. Two of them ended up spending about 40 mins replacing the floodlight and light bulbs. Very friendly and professional. I would call them again if I need similar service in the future.

I have done business with Bill and Nordeast Electric, located at 4219 Central Ave. NE on many occasions. I have found them to be a FIVE star firm (out of 5). Their work is excellent, they come when they are scheduled to show up, the electricians are precise and knowledgeable, and the work is fairly priced. I have worked with Brent and I find him extremely easy to work with, able to explain things clearly and offer alternatives to the work being scheduled, thus giving me a choice . The practice today is that some forms are bidding a job, and if they finish early they will still charge you the full price. Bill does NOT do this and it is his ethical approach to his customers that really makes Nordeast Electric such a special business. All told, they are a treasure and I do hope that by writing this, I will not have oversold them so much that they have difficulty in finding a appointment for me. Thanks, Bill!

Bill's staff replaced our halogen security lights with LED lights and added a "dusk to dawn" sensor. Their experience and professionalism got everything correct from selection of the proper lights to the placement of the light sensor. The communication was great and they came in under budget. I've recommended Northeast Electric to other companies and they've all been pleased with the responsiveness and the performance.

Called Nordeast Electric when a storm came through and our neighbors tree took down our power line along with the mast and meter. Super responsive. Had a crew here that day to investigate and provide guidance and an estimate. Can’t say enough about how great the entire process was from start to finish. My experience with Nordeast Electric was so great. My basement wiring was a little dangerous and a few things didn't work. I called, someone answered right away and scheduled an appointment. Sean suggested some fixes and then took care of a few extra problems (a couple dangerous lights, a non-working ceiling fan, switches hidden in strange places from the last owner, fixtures that needed to be fixed) in the extra time that he had left. I would definitely hire them again for any small or big job. And he was able to also give me an estimate for a future project.

KC and Jake were very friendly and professional. They came in to fix some work my husband had done (turns out, even if the city gives you a permit to do your own electrical work, you're not allowed to do your own electrical work in a townhouse with shared walls!). They were so kind and complimentary of the work he'd done, and fixed his errors without making us feel bad (turns out you really should leave electrical work to the professionals!!!!). It just made me feel so much better about a tough situation. The cost was so much lower than what we'd been quoted by another company. Excellent electrical company. The crew came on-time, pricing was comparable to other vendors, but Nordeast was able to do the work much sooner. They provided the estimate and did the work on the same day. They even cleaned up after themselves, vacuuming the areas in which they had worked. We're pleased with the work we had done too, which consisted of installation of in-ceiling lighting in two bedrooms, installing an outlet in our kitchen, changing a motion-activated light switch to a regular light switch, and adding some AFI to our electrical board.

I’m sure everyone knows how hard it is to find a good and reliable electrician. I can defiantly say I have found mine. In the majority of my experiences with residential contractors by the end of the job they act like your lucky to even have them there. Nordeast remembers some simple fundamentals of business most have forgotten such as answering the phone, returning calls promptly, being on time, showing up the day you agreed to, respectful employees , being prepared, appropriately dressed, finishing the work before leaving, cleaning up after themselves, advising on future needs, etc. I have done my fair share of chasing handyman down but those days are over when it comes to electricians. I would have no problem recommending these guys to anybody. They are fantastic

WE used Nordeast for several big jobs, the largest of which was adding 100 amp service to our 1880s Victorian house, which had many decades of repairs and additions throughout the house. Being frustrated for over 20 years of tripped breakers while seeking outlets that weren’t connected to each other to run an ever-increasing electrically dependent house, we called Nordeast. They gave us an estimate that sounded fair and began the work. The entire project took two days, but we were never without power longer than a few minutes at a time, and each time they asked if it was a good time to do so. The electricians knew their trade and gave good suggestions. They were pleasant, professional, and personable. I have hired them to so some smaller jobs with the same result. I will always use Nordeast Electric and recommend them to anyone.

We had KC come over to help us with a pull cord light that was no longer viable. We have a very old house with knob and tube wiring. Not only was KC super helpful and knowledgeable, he went above and beyond. He ended up replacing an entire circuit, and he removed the old wiring so carefully that there were only 2 small holes in our plaster. For reference, typically they would put in a hole about every 12-18 inches in the plaster. Not only that he went to the hardware store and repaired the plaster himself, which he totally didn't have to do, and was not in his job description!!!! He was so kind, and really gave us good advice. We can't praise him or Nordeast Electric enough!! Also, they were VERY reasonably priced! Thanks so much for your awesome work!!

Nordeast Electric performed a very thorough and fair estimate right after closing that was easy to understand. KC and John were very knowledgeable, efficient, courteous and easy going. They came up with solutions to every problem and respected the integrity of our home. They kept holes to a minimum while replacing the knob and tube in our plaster walls and they always cleaned up after themselves. We had no surprise costs or upcharges, just fair, honest work. Don't bother calling anyone else. These people saved the day when our original electrician plan fell through. They sent a small army over, did the work on the day we needed it to keep our remodel on track, listened to us, and gave us what we needed (not more or less) and were 1/3 the price of the big name company I wish I had never called. I discovered Nordeast in 2010 after doing a lot of internet research on local electricians who were highly rated on non-paid review sites; at that time I narrowed it down to three, of which Nordeast was one. I went with them then because Bill, the owner of the business, not only encompassed the project but on the spot figured out ways to save me money. The job was done fast, well, and fairly priced. So, fast forwarding to 2018, with a new residence that needed substantial electrical work, I went straight to Nordeast, which in the meantime had generated even more (entirely deserved) rave reviews. My co-owners and I had a massive project involving updating and adding electrical outlets, wires, lights, etc. on every floor from basement to attic on our duplex. Bill has a crack team that’s experienced and on top of every detail. They checked in with us multiple times to review options for various things we needed to do before implementing us, which was great for keeping us and them exactly on the same page. As before, the work was done efficiently and well and for a very good price considering how MUCH of it there was! Every chance I get, I recommend them to people I know who need electrical work done, as well as to our online neighborhood club. Nordeast Electric was contracted by the condominium complex I managed to change out 108 private and 18 common Federal Pacific Stab-lock breaker panels, which are known to cause fires if overloaded. I did not receive one complaint from residents, and they were very accommodating from a management perspective. The owner was also well-respected by the Minnesota Electrical Inspector who inspected the entire complex.

My wall oven was not working, due to what turned out to be a burned wire/connection behind the oven. An electrician was available within an hour of my initial phone call,. He was professional and knowledgeable. In addition to fixing the burned wire/connection, he replaced all the connections to assure the issue would not recur in the other wires. I had some projects that I had been putting off for quite awhile and was so pleased to have 3 of my top issues resolved/updated so quickly. They charge by the hour, so for my situation it worked out well since I had a list of things to be completed. My electrician asked if I wanted him to keep going on the to-do list or stop at an hour since my top three issues had been fixed. I would recommend!

We had Nordeast out last week to install a new area light and an outside outlet on our garage. Previous to this we had them install a new bathroom fan and repair a faulty outlet. Both times we had the pleasure of having Sean show up to do the work. There are at least three ways to spell Sean (Shaun, Shawn) so I apologize for not knowing which spelling is correct. Regardless, Sean is outstanding. He makes sure you’re aware of the costs, but he also makes sure he explains your options before doing the work ie; we can put your outside outlet here or here but if I put it here I can tie into a wall stud for a sturdier install. When Sean replaced our bathroom fan he told us that he could install the whole new unit or just gut the old one and install the new moving parts into the existing box, saving time and $$. As far as pricing goes, the fee structure for Nordeast can sound a bit high to the uninitiated but know that the techs like Sean are so fast and efficient that the man-hours they actually spend on a project are as few as humanly possible. After both jobs that Sean has done for us our opinion was, “For work this fast and competent, the amount we paid was a bargain.” Honestly, there’s no reason to call anybody else.
