Mark and Jonathan were very fast and professional, even when the final thing I wanted installed went belly up. Apparently there was a whole rat’s nest of live wires running all through the insulation above our master bedroom. Very fun! They handled the situation well, and I feel relieved that not only does our master bedroom now have a fan, but it is also less likely to catch on fire. I’ll definitely be calling them for future projects!

Highly recommend, A+ service. I was so pleasantly surprised with the professionalism, quality, and speed of service provided by EarlyBird Electric. John and Sam arrived on time, clearly explained all of the work to be done, and walked me through the whole process. They always ensured I was aware of the work they were doing and owned the decision making. Another amazing part of their work was how clean they were, by the time they had finished it looked like nobody was ever even there. This was a big plus considering all the drilling they had to do to install a new outlet for new electric range. In addition, the full electrical inspection they provided upon completion gave us an even greater peace of mind.

Mark and his apprentice were top-notch!! They clearly explained everything they were doing, informed me of system upgrades that would improve the safety of my home, and worked to fully resolved the acute issue i was experiencing. They detected some seriously faulty craftsmanship that could have had devastating consequences had it been left longer. His thoroughness absolutely prevented what could have been a truly catastrophic event in my home. I felt safe in his company, truly cared for as a human and client, and trust his craftsmanship implicitly. I'm really grateful it was Mark that responded to my emergency call and will absolutely request him with all further electrical work. Needed a quick rewire, outlet install, & new breaker installed for a new dishwasher (along with a few other jobs). They were polite, responsive, quick (even came out during a big snowstorm,) & professional. The speed of service was very important as the dishwasher issue was unknown until I bought a new dishwasher & had the old one removed by the installer - the installer couldn't finish the install until our electrical was updated). So, I won't have a big hole in my kitchen as long because of Early Bird's fast service. Would recommend.

The Good: The new boxes, circuit, panel surge protector, and wiring all were good installations and look as expected. The techs were pleasant to work with. They used my ladder and returned to its original spot The Not So Good: They moved several items as needed for access to the walls in the garage and our patio but did not return them and left the areas pretty messy. They did not clean up their mess (cut drywall dust and installation pieces) in our closet by the circuit panel.

Of the 4 companies I called, EarlyBird Electric was the most responsive company with the earliest availability for having a technician come out to assess the electrical issue I was having. It ended up requiring a new panel installation and our tech (Ken Ridge) was knowledgeable, personable, and able to complete the entire large job in the same day as the assessment. Ken's work was beautiful, especially the sweeping wires routed into the circuit panel; it was obvious that he [rightfully] took pride in his work.

Carl was professional, timely, and considerate. Both Carl and the second worker ( forgetting his name but he was great too) took extra care not to make any holes if it wasn’t necessary. The hole they did make, they covered with a smoke detector. Awesome! They worked fast, were curious, and creative about how to make this old house work with new wiring. They cleaned up afterwards with care too! They come back next week to finish up and we couldn’t be more pleased with the service.

After an initial scheduling problem, a tech did show up and install a new ceiling fan for me. He did a great job and was very personable. I was going to leave 4*s for that alone, but I got a call from someone in charge at EarlyBird today to find out how things had been handled and what went wrong so they could check in with their people to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. I was pleased in the end, but wish it had gone smoother.

We were in a dire situation, having no running water as our well went out. We needed an electrician to come out asap to give us a written quote for hooking up the new well. Originally they said a week out with a fee for assessing. I was going to hang up and keep calling around, and the sweet receptionist woman stopped and asked me if I needed it sooner, to which I explained our situation. She got someone out to our house the next day and waived the assessment fee. The electrician texted us their bio and that they were on their way. You can text them back, which is very nice to have that direct communication about the appointment/services. I got a written quote immediately after the appointment. Thoroughly impressed with Early Bird Electric, 10/10!!!

I just had an 80amp 240v service installed mainly for heating in my garage. I needed a trench dug, conduit installed and a panel in for the compressor, heater, TIG welder, and other accessories. Master bedroom lost power: overloaded while ironing. No circuit breaker tripped. Had me stumped so I called Early Bird, and they sent Dave. He looked over the situation and we discussed the cost. He started the diagnostic and pretty quickly found the problem which I couldn’t have fixed. He had all the necessary parts to restore power and recommended a couple solutions if there is a recurrence. I’m very pleased with Dave and Early Bird.

They do a good job, but they are expensive. I also had to wait an additional week for the service because the original scheduled date they were short on techs and rescheduled for the following week. I had them come for service call to check 3 outlets that weren't working at a rental property. They charged $429 to do some troubleshooting. It took them only an hour to figure it out and resolve issue. So basically $429 for 1 hour of work. Very expensive

Aaron diagnosed the problem which was not an ease task. He and Dillion took off the ceiling fan, cut through the ceiling in three places to access the wiring going in three different directions. This was done instead of taking down a cupboard or cutting a hole in the back of the cabinet. They were here from 10:30 AM 7:30 PM working straight through. When the project was finished, everything was back in place and cleaned up.

My experience with EarlyBird Electric was excellent. They contacted me quickly to set up an appointment, and Branden came to my house to look at what I needed done and provide an estimate. He was incredibly thorough, explained everything in detail, and gave me different options that were possible. He also responded promptly when I had a follow up question after he left. Super informative and helpful. Peter and Ed came to do the work--they were on time, did great work, kept me updated throughout the project, and went above and beyond by also correcting the terrible panel label the previous owners left behind. They went through my whole house to identify each fuse so they could re-label it for me. Their work was fantastic! They left my house clean, the repairs were well done, and the new EV charger works wonderfully. I will definitely call EarlyBird in the future for any electrical needs that come up.

A tenant of mine needed service for a business. Got EarlyBird to come out because they were available on a short notice (which is great). The downside of this is that they charge you $80 to come out without giving any kind of estimate but say, "we charge per task." Okay, fair. My tenant needed 6 outlets repaired in the basement - all that was needed was to add spacers to them. I've had this job done before - takes no more than 10 minutes to do. The electrician calls me and quotes me $75 dollars per outlet. That's the part that gets me. $450 for an hour of time + $80 for nothing. I learned my lesson - I won't ever use this company again. UPDATE - A manager by the name of Mark from EarlyBird Electric reached out to me. We discussed the situation. Although I still don't agree with their pricing methods, I can appreciate the call and transparency of conversation.

My family and I are beyond impressed with the service we got from project manager Branden and electricians Jamie and JP. We were desperate to find a solution to make our "3 season patio" (that was actually habitable for maybe 2 months max. a year...) into a proper space for a second home office. The breaker for my garage outlets kept tripping causing me to have to reset it 1-3x per day. I finally had enough and decided to contact an electrician after coming home from work one night to find that my garage door wouldn't open because the breaker had tripped at some point during the day. I have very little knowledge when it comes to electrical, but after some research my guess was either a wiring issue (the house is less than a year old) or it was the fridge in my garage causing the GFCI breaker to trip when the compressor turned on so I needed to get a new outlet on its own circuit for the fridge. Most of the companies I reached out to I either left a voicemail or submitted a request to contact through their website. Since it was a Saturday evening during the week of Thanksgiving I figured the chances were pretty low that I would get in contact with someone, much less get something scheduled within a month knowing how busy residential electricians are these days and how minor my situation was compared to most jobs. So I was pretty surprised when I contacted EarlyBird and they not only answered right away but were able to get an electrician scheduled to come out within a week. Their fee just to come out and diagnose the problem was $80, which was cheaper than most companies I contacted who charged around $100. The electricians, Mark and Kevin, were excellent. They were personable and asked questions as they diagnosed the problem. Within a few minutes they were able to identify the issue, explained the issue in detail, provided a few options to fix it, upfront about the cost of each option, and then had it fixed within minutes. They also took a moment to give me some helpful advice on a couple of other electrical questions that I had before they left. Overall it took it took less than hour. Just great service all around by EarlyBird, Mark, and Kevin. I'll definitely reach out to them. in the future and would highly recommend to others.

Update: Immediately after I posted this review the owner called me, listened to my story, and said he would reduce the charge to the initially agreed upon $79. The electrician also called and tried to defend his point of view. In my opinion, when you make an agreement you should stick to it. I have not seen the final bill yet but I believe that EBE intends to honor the original agreement. Original Review: We heard their radio commercial stating that they would waive the trip fee if any service was performed. I talked to a gentleman over the phone who told me that the trip fee is $79. The electrician would look at the situation, give us a bid, and if we chose to have them do any of the work the trip charge would be removed. He looked at our situation and gave us two options / bids to choose from. When we declined both bids we expected to be charged $79 for the trip charge. However, He instead said that we would be charged $217 for "trouble shooting" and the trip fee would be removed. I called to complain and was promised a call back but have not received one. If the electricians boss makes this right I will give the company four stars for correcting the situation.

Zach and Saren were both great. And EarlyBird kept me informed about arrival time, which included a call from Zach 20-30 min before he arrived. Not only did they install the ceiling fan which was what I had scheduled, but they also inspected my electrical system and replaced three outlets (one was a 220 volt outlet for washer/dryer that wasn’t appropriate), and identified that I don’t have RFI outlets in my kitchen. Zach will order those and return to install. Both electricians were friendly, professional, and explained things clearly. Including what each item would cost They were also patient and good with my dogs, one of which has stranger fear and takes a while to relax and accept them as “ok.” I highly recommend Zach, Saren, and EarlyBird.

I rarely write reviews but our experience was so positive that I’m compelled. Outstanding customer service across the board and follow up. Sean worked fast and was thorough. He arrive, listened to our description of the problem and assessed what needed to be done. He methodically got to to root of the problem and fixed it. Very professional and easy to have in our home and talk with. Every light in our 100-year-old home was flickering like crazy but not anymore. He knew his stuff and took care of some other issues as well that come with poor grounding, knob and tube mixed with some newer wiring that is a mix match of series and layout. We will have him back for more work soon. The cause of our flickering was in the rotted wiring at the outside service connection. That is expensive and was unexpected. However they have interest free financing for 18 months! That made it simple. Office staff were on it and made it all quite pain free. If you need an expert electrician who can come in, figure it out and get it done, I 100% recommend this company. No job is too small.

Good group of guys, needed some electrical work done in my basement, they were there when they said they would be, the first guy that came out to do the inspection walked me through what he would need to do after I told him what I wanted, was very clear on the price and the work that needed to be done. Made suggestions to improvise the job to make it better for future projects, was not pushing, seemed more of a technical type rather than salesman which I appreciated. He seemed to really know what he was doing. The crew came out on the date and time they said they would, my wife was there and said they were very pleasant to talk too and completed the job within the agreed to time. Upon reviewing the work , i found that everything worked as stated it would, they even improvised on one part that I did not expect but was more than happy with. Overall interaction was very good, contact with office staff was great, follow up with staff was really good. I would recommend and plan to use again once I start finishing my basement.

We had an electrical emergency at our business. It was later in the night and were unsure if we could find anyone. we took a chance on Early Bird Electric. The dispatcher was super helpful and was able to find me an electrician to make it out to help us. We hired Early Bird to remove knob and tube in our house and replace it with updated wiring. Unfortunately, they didn't remove it all. We called them back to check on live wire and they never came. Then when we confirmed the knob and tube was still live they came back just to cut it and it said they would not replace it without us paying more. It cost a ton of money and I was disappointed that we did not get the service we asked for which was to remove all the knob and tube and replace it with updated wiring.

Great experience! My appointment to hardwire our Ring floodlight camera was originally set for May 4th but they called me on the 3rd and asked if I wanted them to come a day early since they had an opening and the electrician was in our area. I took them up on their offer and our electrician, Sean, was at our house within 30 minutes. He explained everything clearly and patiently answered my questions about the project. He gave us a concrete quote before he began his work, but when the time came to pay he lowered the cost due to the fact that it did not take as long as he anticipated since we already had a box inside once he opened up the fixture hookup. The work took him just a few minutes and he wrapped up and headed out in the blink of an eye. He was incredibly polite and professional and we had a wonderful experience! Definitely using this company again for future projects. Thanks, Sean!! Edit: I want to reiterate that the fact that Sean gave us a concrete quote before he began his work is a great way to do things. He told us exactly how much it would be beforehand and reassured us that there would be NO surprise costs once it was time to pay. I can’t stand when companies tell you one price at the start, but when it’s time to pay suddenly there’s a whole bunch of add-on costs. I can understand that happening with complex projects having multiple steps and issues, but for straightforward, simple work it should be a straightforward cost.Thanks for doing it the right way with our job, EarlyBird Electric!

The reason I called this outfit was for a main breaker that recently started tripping/getting hot. The team that showed up was very prompt, knowledgeable and forthright with what they recommended. I was looking for a quote at this stage in the process, this was the first outfit I contacted. They told me I needed a new panel, it would be 3,500 dollars to get it done. This was the preferred option, but they also quoted me 900 dollars to swap out the breaker with no guarantee that it would fix the problem. I said thank you for the quote and set a time with them to follow up. Great, I will collect some more information and let them know at said time. In the meantime, I had another company out to give me a quote and follow the same process. They pulled the main breaker, showed me the signs indicating it was starting to fail and swapped it out in 10 minutes. It was not a 900 dollar job, far far less. I didn't need a new panel, at least not right away. The quotes I got for other work I was considering were also very high (9k to upgrade to 200 amp service). This was not the case with the second outfit I contacted, they were roughly 50 percent less. The point of this review is that you should seek multiple quotes before agreeing to work in any situation. My experience with these guys was nothing but professional and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience/employees. However, the prices quoted were very high and I found better value elsewhere. They also charge a 79 dollar service fee for coming out, FYI. Other services do not always do this. Buyer beware.

The technician got to my house at about 11:00 and put together a quote while I was on my way home from work. He gave me a quote on 3 of the things I asked for and said he would do the 4th one for free. He left and came back two separate times because he realized he didn’t have a part and later remembered I had asked for a different color outlet. He didn’t have all of the specific parts he needed and forgot one thing but he was very gracious about taking care of those things and cared enough to put in the effort sooverall i’d give them 4.5 out of 5 (if that was possible). Also he was very knowledgeable and the installations were very well done.

All 3 electricians required opening up my ceiling in order to run the wires to install and power the new light.
