Our dilemma started when we were in the midst of a remodel of a home that we purchased that has vaulted ceilings. The ceilings were absent of recessed lighting making the room quite dark and the height of the ceilings added to the challenge. We spoke with two other electricians who simply acknowledged that they were not capable of installing recessed lights before we got Tim's contact info. After contacting Tim, he came by a few days later, assessed and set an appt date for the install. It was really that simple. Tim was extremely professional, punctual and performed the work at a VERY fair price. I intend to use Tim Harrod Electric for any electrical work we need either in our home or at our business as he does commercial work as well. I HIGHLY recommend Tim Harrod Electric for any electrical work you may encounter.

Finding a good and prompt Electrician is truly shocking! Our former electrician ghosted us and left us unplugged in the middle of a project...! Tim Harrod set up appointments with us, was prompt and professional, and never backed out of his previously set appointments. He always showed up on time, completed the jobs with next to no mess(!) and was always open to friendly explain what was done, needed to be done, or could be done. Very knowledgeable and willing to educate me on areas of work I could complete and cleaned up some mistakes I made. Installed sub panel for rooms I was finishing up. Also made sure I was aware of some of the inspection gotchas and provided white glove service to ensure inspection went off without a hitch. I had him come back and repair a faulty light fixture in an old part of the house. Quick, easy determination and provided cost options for replacement. Highly recommend using him.

I gathered 3 different quotes for extensive electrical work involving aluminum wiring in my home. Tim was by far the easiest to talk to, he explained everything he thought we should tackle, and he took the time to walk me through every thought process regarding the proposed work. He even took the time to come back and fix a newly discovered and very hard to spot wiring issue in the crawlspace under my stairs. Tim is highly dependable, honest, and genuine. Tim and his company are so easy to work with. We had them install security lights all the way around our home as well as replace recessed lights in our basement with 4 bar LED lights.
