Passed! Way better than the driving school I previously attended. These people really show you how to drive and pass. I made no mistakes! The front desk are very patient and comforting when it came to rescheduling. I will definitely take my son here (when he is old enough of course). I was lucky to have 2 instructors, each with their own teaching styles and it was beyond helpful. I am so proud to have my license, please come here if you want to get your NYC driver's license, it is 100% recommended.

I finally got my drivers license thanks to these guys! The instructors are all very patient, polite, and really do personalize your driving lessons based on your experience/ what you need to work on. I never knew how to parallel park before coming here and thankfully they were able to show me such an easy method! All the helpful tips I received during the lessons helped me build confidence in my driving skills. Also I really think this school has affordable prices for packages and I like that you can pay for what you need individually too. I am forever grateful for this driving school for helping me get my license :) you guys are awesome

I can’t believe I am saying this but I just passed my road test today! I didn’t really have much confidence that I was going to pass but this school made me gain that confidence when I am out in the road. I just want to give the HUGEST Shout Out to Jorge who was my instructor for most of my classes. He helped me tremendously these past few classes and also made the class fun. He is the reason why I passed my exam. I appreciated the comments he told me because he made me feel more better about taking the exam. Definitely recommend this school!

I had zero experience or confidence in learning to drive. The staff is very professional and helpful. They made me feel comfortable and were able to accommodate to what I needed. Best place to go get your driving lessons. Everyone there is nice and patient with you. After taking a couple of lessons with them I passed on my drivers test in one shot. They also do taxes so they will give you a great discount if you’re also taking classes here. BIG RECOMMENDATION FOR THIS PLACE!

Highly recommend going here! I signed up for 15 lessons + 5hr course and was able to have my road test scheduled. I had different instructors every class which was great because I learned many good things from each and everyone of them. No issues when rescheduling! In the end, everything paid off and I passed my road test on the first try!

Passed on my first try. :) I had driving anxiety for the longest time and thought I would never in my life get behind the wheel, but I overcame my fear with their school. The driving instructors (I had most of my lessons with George and Fabian!!) were all very professional, patient, kind, and accommodating! They also tailor the lessons based on your experience or what you need to improve on, so let them know what you think your strong suit is and where you're lacking. The front desk is also super accommodating and flexible, especially when it comes to scheduling conflicts. I felt bad because I had to cancel a couple times due to work and they were really nice about it. They also take care of everything like the 5-hour course, the road test scheduling, transpo to the road test site, literally everything. You just need to learn how to become a great driver! Super thankful for this school. :)

Cedeno Driving School is the best! I have gone to several driving schools, but have never been confident enough to pass. But this time, I went to George at Cedeno and he was the best instructor. He was so helpful, but also was so encouraging and fun. I passed my test on the first try today! Everyone should go here!

So I’m very thankful with this driving school, for Me was very difficult to pass a road practicing by myself. So I decided to take lessons with Cedeño and I took 15 lessons all of those classes were with different instructors and I felt very comfortable with this because the idea is learn how to drive and it really works. All the instructors are very nice, patients, and dedicated. I just passed my exam and I’m very happy I could never do this without cedeno because they really taught me how to drive. If I could give 6 stars I would. :) I was so nervous and had a lot (and I mean a lot!) of anxiety around driving in general let alone taking the test, I did a lesson package and it was money very well spent, the instructors are all really knowledgeable and calm and talked me through each area of my driving concerns, everyone is very kind from the awesome instructors to the equally awesome ladies behind the desk in the office! They made the entire process really easy, you can use the companies car for the test if needed and they give you a ride to and from the test center and even take care of all of the paperwork which to me was huge on the day, I had nothing to think about other than taking the test. Cedano has a really awesome group of instructors, each were able to give me new tips and tricks for different areas of my driving and this helped hugely as you are not just getting 1 instructors advice or opinion but a number of different tips each time you drive. They helped to calm anxieties during the lesson and boosted my confidence when I did things well and calmly explained in clear detail any mistakes that I made. I passed on my second try at seaview and felt confident and very well prepared while taking the test thanks to this driving school, I can't believe the difference from when I started. Fabian was the instructor that accompanied us on the day of the test and right up until getting into the car to take the test, he was offering advice and tips on what might happen and what to do. I'm really thankful to all members of the Cedano team for helping me to get to the finish line on something that I was putting off for years, I can't recommend them enough! :)

This school is honestly fantastic for anyone, they're patient with you, kind, and they most definitely wanna see you pass. The prices are reasonable, the instructors themselves are really good people(especially Jorge who was my main instructor). All in all, I'd recommend this school to anyone and everyone.

Unfortunately, i've been to a few driving schools in Brooklyn and in queens and none of them can even compare! I wish I tried them out first before spending my time and money else where. The location is in the heart of Williamsburg and easy to get to. My whole experience from the phone to meeting the instructors was nothing but great! everyone is super sweet helpful. Do yourself a favor and schedule with Cedeno Driving school. I took 5 classes and passed on the first road test! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent driving school!!! I never write reviews but the school and all the instructors were so nice and professional I made an exception. I signed up for a 15 class package and passed my road test on my first try. Once you sign up the school take care of everything for you and all you have to focus on is perfecting your driving. All the instructors, I had the privilege of meeting 4 of them, are excellent. Very professional and make you feel calm and confident. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a driving school to just stop looking and call Cedeno, you will not be disappointed. They are FANTASTIC!

If you have some driving experience, this is a good place for you. I do not recommend it for beginner drivers. It didn't work for me, the classes were rotated with different drivers each class, and I never had clear directions; each one gave me different directions.

Really good driving school! If you want to learn with great instructors then look no further! Other driving schools charge $400-$600 for the same package, while in this driving school I paid less than HALF! And I sure did get the most bang for my buck. I got 5 lessons, road test appointment, and the car for the road test. My instructor's name was LUIS, he is AWESOME and very patient he taught me how to park, and in only 2 lessons i MASTERED it. I had my road test today, and I PASSED! Can't pay the whole price upfront? They do installments! I definitely will recommend this school to all my family and friends. I saved so much money, and learned so much with just a few lessons, I now have my driver's license! Thank you Cedeno Driving School!

This place was a godsave for me and came through in a clutch! I had my test two days before coming here and the owner was able to reserve a time for me both the day after I called and a day before my exam! Both Lui and Fabian helped me fixed the little things I needed to fix before my exam! Thanks to them I was able nail 3 point turns, parallel parking (though my other instructor outside of cedeno chewed me out for parking the way I was taught here-it helped me during the exam) and I was able to pass my exam! I was terrified of cars. Whenever I saw big trucks I would freak out. I never drove a car and I do not come from a family of drivers. I decided to do some research and found Cedeno Driving School. I was amazed by the reviews so I decided to purchase a package of 15 classes. I had Jorge for most of my classes and let me tell you that he was absolutely amazing! He took his time to really teach me and give me his honest reviews on my progress. Jorge is punctual, respectful, well educated in all things about cars! I practiced with him during rush hour, mornings, weekends, and night. If you show Jorge that you are 100% committed to learning, he will be 100% committed to teaching. Thanks to Jorge I have officially passed my test! Next stop Highway classes! Don’t look anywhere else, book Cedeno and ask for Jorge!

I want to thank the entire Cedeno Driving School for helping me get my license. I wasn’t sure if I will pass the first time but I did! It was nerve wrecking to start driving right away but they paced the lessons very well - from teaching you the basics in the first 3-4 classes and then fine tuning your skills/ weaknesses gradually. Every instructors will give you their feedback and tricks :) but I want to thank Fabian and George especially for their lessons, it was both encouraging and challenging (driving pass 20-30 big trucks for 45 mins) at the same time. And making mistakes in classes helped me learn how to bounce back and make adjustment on the spot - which I had to in the actual road test! All the other instructors are extremely helpful along the way: Luis, Eric, Maca and forgive me if I have missed some of you. The ladies in the office are extremely helpful too, always helpful and patience with my anxious requests - from scheduling to changing to making sure I have a class on the morning of my road tests. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I had been driving since I was 16 and then after 20 yrs of living in NYC, I let my license expire...needless to say I was annoyed that I was required to take the 5 hour class. When the day came--it was a great experience and our instructor was awesome. I also signed up for 3 driving lessons which I needed. Driving in DC and North Carolina is NOTHING like driving in NYC. My instructor Eric was patient and incredibly helpful and it was great to have him for all three classes--he especially made me pay attention to 3-point turns, observing obstructions, and parallel parking. I took my road test today...and PASSED on the first try! The DMV person said my parallel parking and 3-point turn were "text book". :-)) Thanks Cedeno!!

I was most worried about parallel parking for the driving test, but the instructors had great techniques and tricks on how to parallel park perfectly each time! The instructors were all super friendly and patient. I’m happy to say I passed my driving test and I could not have done it without Cedeno!

I failed 3 times in Canada from test anxiety. So glad I got the package here. It was well worth it - the instructors gave me the confidence to drive on NYC road and also passed my road test on the first try. I had two different instructors (apologies if I spelt your names wrong - Erick and Jorge) both were very adamant on the fundamentals but taught differently, Eric taught me to stay in calm in crazy traffic pile ups and Jorge is like your personal cheerleader with every turn. The 5 hour class was practical and focused on road safety and the specifics of the road test. I also had a time crunch so I needed to book everything in a 3 week span. Mayelin the admin assistant - had all my classes and road test booked in that time frame with a lesson just before the road test which helped a lot. They also were the quickest to respond from all the other driving school. I definitely will be coming back for highway lessons now that I have my license!

Update: I passed after just one lesson! I haven't driven in years (drove for ten years, then let my license lapse). Chris drove me to my appointment on 4/6 and the Ridgewood evaluator was super nice too (nothing to do with the driving school, but I recommend testing in Ridgewood). Anyway, this driving school was amazing start to finish, the driving lesson taught me how to parallel park in one lesson which I could barely do even when I drove! OG review: So far, I purchased their package of 1 lesson+ roadtest and 5 hour class. I only took the five hour class so far and it was a great experience, they really give you an insider view of what to expect on the road test, help you figure out the best testing location, etc. The facilitator kept it interesting for a massively long class! I didn't even tune out as an experienced driver. I let my license lapse but this school has been so helpful already they're making the process to take the test again pretty painless!

Best value and best service all around. I was enormously nervous to drive and have tried passing my test multiple times in different places with no success. With Cedeno school I took 20 lesson package and did everything in one month from lesson no1 to the driving test. I passed!!! and I can now drive for real, not just feel scared after few lessons, but really comfortable on the road, not just for the test. Best day ever !! I passed my road test today all thanks to Cedeno Driving School !! I’m so happy I made the choice in coming to this school after my first failed attempt at another school. All The instructors here are amazing !! Rufino & Luis have to be my favorites. I recommend both if available !! They’re highly good at explaining things thoroughly and are super honest when correcting your wrongs. Both give amazing driving techniques that will help you pass the day of your road test. Wonderful experience learning to drive at this school!!! Today I passed my test and felt confident doing it, thanks to Cedeno and the amazing group of people who work there. I believe I had a class with every teacher (but mostly with Luis who I highly recommend - he has this brilliant easy trick for parallel parking!) and I found they were calm, knowledgeable, patient and kind every class. This is a great place for nervous drivers, they are very flexible in letting you learn at your own pace, and you really do build up your confidence with each lesson! They also provide highway classes for after you pass your test and I felt that extra support is a bonus.

Any problems I had in regards to my road test or lessons, they were able to help me with alternative solutions. This is a great place to learn and refine your skills no matter what stage you are at! everyone is so professional, nice, helpful and following all protocols. I had Luis for the most of my lessons and he was very calm, explained everything in detail and made me repeat lots of things so I would have it engrained. I recommend Cedeno driving school if you are looking for an affordable driving school. They are very understanding, work around your schedule, and the administrative staff takes care of a lot behind the scenes to make sure you are all set. Definitely recommend Luis and Fabian. I failed miserably the first time and they were super helpful and gave valuable tips for me to use in my practice outside of my lessons and eventually on the road test. George and Richard are pretty solid instructors as well. Everyone here follows all safety protocol when it comes to COVID-19 also. I recommend a 10 or 15 lesson package if you haven’t previously driven. With the pandemic, it can be hard to get consistent practice, so having people around that would let you practice with their car can be really helpful.

I signed up in late January 2021 as a student at Cedeno Driving school without hardly any experience driving. The instructors, Rufino and Luis, each took their time with me teaching me the basics (buttons/gears/mirrors, maneuvers, turns, stop signs, 3-point turn, parallel parking, etc. ) After doing the 10 class package, which included the 5 hour video session done via zoom (hosted by Luis), I passed the driving test on the first try (in March) and I feel way more confident driving now. Both are detailed, patient, and encouraging instructors who ensured I continued to improve each class. As far as the school itself, the staff in the office are very kind and helpful, and they were very flexible with me and scheduling my classes. I did have to cancel/reschedule a few of them, and since I gave them 24 hour heads up, there were absolutely no issues. Also the car used was a very smooth and comfortable Toyota, and every time I switched between instructors the car remained the same- so I was able to get familiar with it, and use it for the actual driving exam. I HIGHLY recommend going to this school, and learning from either Rufino or Luis. Amazing people, and their guidance truly helped me. (P.s. they used all necessary precautions during covid).

I took 15 lessons with Cedeno Driving school, and just passed my road test yesterday. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to learn everything that is on the road test. I was an inexperienced driver, and the great part about this school is that no matter what experience you have, they will guide and coach you to prepare you for the test. I began without any driving knowledge, the instructors helped me learn the basics from adjusting mirrors, to making turns, and then eventually taught me how to parallel park perfectly, perform the K turn, and I now feel confident as a driver with my license. I recommend this place fully. At age 31 I had only practiced driving once when I was 18. I chose a package that offered everything with 10 classes. My instructor Luis was amazing. He took his time and explained everything in detail and exactly what test instructors look for. This is a very well organized driving school. I liked it from the very start when I had my 5-hour class there, which was interesting (!) and very useful. I took a 20-lesson package with them although I did know how to drive a little. I just wanted to practice more and prepare for the test really well. However, I wasn’t very lucky with my first instructor, with whom most of these 20 lessons were just wasted. As a result I failed my first attempt (I was also very nervous, but I think if I had been properly prepared I wouldn’t have been). After I failed, I booked three more classes with another instructor — Luis (apologies if I misspelled the name) — and it was such a huge difference! He explains everything and makes sure you understand. He also gives tips on how to pass the test and even holds mock tests the day before the real test to let you know what to expect. Thanks to him my second attempt was successful! This is a nice school indeed, recommend it, but do your research on instructors before you book classes!

When I decided to learn to drive in NYC I reached out to 4 different driving schools, and Cedeno was the only one to respond. Although I don’t live in Williamsburg the good reviews and timeliness of their responses convinced me it was worth the additional journey time. Everyone who works in the office is so incredibly efficient. I booked by package as soon as I received my learners permit, and in less than a month I was able to schedule and complete the 5 hour class, three lessons as well as my road test, all in the times of COVID. They booked my road test as soon as I completed the 5 hour class, and my lessons were timed to be as close to test day as possible. The instructors are great, and I wouldn’t have passed without them. I would perhaps recommend requesting the same instructor throughout, although I had Jorge and Juan Carlos and they were both great. I got different tips from both of them. Dealing with the DMV isn’t fun, but booking a package through Cedeno removes a lot of potential headaches. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and if you listen to their tips you have a great chance of passing first time. The nice thing is that as I knew my test site was Red Hook, they took me to areas of Williamsburg and Greenpoint that felt very similar. There’s a lot of driving schools out there with mixed reviews, and there are others that have good reviews but are a much higher price point. Cedeno is very fairly priced, incredibly organized, and have vehicles that are in excellent condition and clean. I did a lot of research before committing, and couldn’t be happier with my choice. Thanks for helping me pass!

Took my driving test this morning in Red Hook after taking a lesson yesterday and I passed!!! My instructor for my lesson was great. Kept me relaxed and helped me understand why I failed my first attempt. Used a car from them for my road test and had a great informative drive with tips to help. Also, if you speak Spanish go here. I needed a car to take my road test and a lesson before hand to be familiar. Unlike a driving school I went to in White Plains with the same deal (lesson and road test), they guy from Cedeno (Luiz?) was helpful, courteous, and put me at ease on the day of my driving test. I was late to the lesson a few days earlier but the instructor was still helpful and encouraging!

I passed today! I did the 10 class package and as Jorge says I was his favorite student because I went from "negative 0 to 100." Luis was my 5 hour course instructor, he was really nice and kept the class engaging even though theres a lot to get through. I had 9 lessons with Jorge and 1 with Fabian. Both have really different styles but both are great. Jorge is like family, really patient but also goofy. He's really committed to getting you to pass. Fabian is very calm, professional and gives you precise instructions. I really liked learning to drive at this school. I had heard other schools can be really mean and I knew I would respond well to gentle instructors - so glad I found Cedeno!

Ceding Driving School is Excellent. Staff very nice, professional and the instructors truly care by teaching a student to drive safe, correctly and obtaining their drivers license. I recently obtain my drivers license on February 26, 2021 and only had 5 points deducted. I took one lesson from Rafino, he pointed out what I need to work on, two weeks later I passed my driving exam with flying colors. Rafino is a very good instructor. I have been driving for 20 years and need to convert my Australian licence to a US licence. I chose cedeno driving school as it was an affordable option (prices were great), as well as a number of good reviews, and a friend who had also used them. I purchased a package of 2 tune up lessons and the driving test (you need the school to get you a spot for a test). They were amazing in booking test times and dealing with my ridiculous schedule... :) The driving instructor I had, Louis was so knowledgeable - heavily focused on all the small things that I needed to know to pass the test - he was very firm with me and my years of bad driving habits and had me practice over and over the areas that I was most concerned about until those areas were no longer a concern. When I got to the test I was not even nervous as Louis had me so well prepared - and I passed the test with 100% rate. I cannot thank cedeno enough and would recommend highly to anyone looking for a great driving school.

If you are looking for a driving school in Brooklyn, Cedeno is it! I had the package with 15 classes, and after seven or eight classes, I was already well-prepared for road test and to be on road. I went with 15 classes because I have never driven before, had a car accident in the past, and was nervous with the thought of driving. My instructor, George, is very informative and professional. He knows what he is doing. On top of that, he has a great sense of humor, so I enjoyed every minute of classes with him. Also, the staffs are very kind and I only had positive experience with them. I was a bit nervous going to learn to drive but my first instructor Luis made me feel welcome thought me Basic on how to turn, where my hands needed to be, how to parallel park and K-turn. This place is a family business and Fabian was very helpful. Since I had a drivers license from my home country I only took the 5 hour class and one driving lesson. I passed the test today in my first try! Their cars are comfortable & prices are reasonable. The other day I called them at 6.50 am to learn about my driving test hours and someone picked up the phone and answered me nicely.

Fantastic driving school. This school has some of the best instructors in the city. My instructor Luis was patient and taught me exactlynwhat i needed to pass the test. From the 1st call to the last and everything in between shows they love their job. Luis and George (i think that was his name) was my teachers. He was very detailed. If you made an error he will show you where was the mistake and how to fix it. He was very CALM, PATIENCE, and DETAILED. George was more relax even if you didn't feel confident to be in a car, he would have regular conversation where you're relax and not be nervous but at the same time also show you how to pass. VERY PATIENCE and DETAILED. Not only the school is a great school but the price was even better. I took 10 lessons, by the 7th class I was already confident that I was gonna pass. I took my test today, I only had 5 point on my test and thats because I was very nervous that I forgot to signal while driving off, and that was my mistake. My experience was wonderful at Cedeno Driving School. I took my road test about 10 days ago and past at my 1st try. Im a mother of three and always very busy and Cedeno Driving School always accommodate my schedule. The owner is so sweet and the other young lady at the front desk as well. I had never been behind the wheel and I purchased the 15 class package. I had my lessons with Fabian. He is so patient and he would repeat the same thing over and over to me like it was the 1st time without making me feel bad. My biggest issue was my nerves. I had to learn to think ahead. Fabian taught me step by step over and over. It didnt matter if it was my 1st lesson or 10th. He has a calm personality and he wasnt teaching me only how to pass the road test but how to drive in real life situations. I actually purchased a couple more lessons when my road test was coming up. The DMV recommends 50 hours of driving before the road test. Everyone is different but I felt I rather be more prepared then fail and take it again. Im so grateful to Fabian for teaching me. The day of my road test I had a lesson with Luis in the morning. He was so helpful and also a great instructor. I also had my 5 hour class with Luis which he made fun while very informative. Road test was a total of 9 mins long. Lol. I wasn't nervous and knew exactly what to do thanks to Cedeno Driving School. Im so grateful to Fabian and all the wonderful people who work at the driving school. Now my husband isn't the only driver.

I decided to come here after seeing their high Google rating and it's exactly same as what people say. The staffs are super kind, friendly, helpful, patient and very professional. They help you gain confidence through repetitve practices in various situations so learning is easy to pick up. Also the instructors help you stay focused on the borderline of caution and confidence. As much as lack of caution is a major problem for beginners, lack of confidence also is. I was so impressed with Luis I looked up his reviews and there are so many so I'm so happy to join in confirming Luis is an excellent teacher. He is patient kind and insightful. Cedeno is a woman owned business so it feels great to support a fellow woman and I highly recommend the school. The school is humble but Cedeno is the real deal and I say this because I know! I was savagely assaulted at a doctor's office in Soho where they pretend that they are professionals. Please google Dr Fagelman assault and watch a 36 second YouTube on how not to treat a customer and not only that I was another MD's patient! I became a victim of violence; lies on going almost seven years of them lying so unethical . I had a cyst removed on my elbow; my arm was numb from two injections. I was holding bags when I became a human pin yada for an unprofessional liar abusive receptionist/office manager! She was not fired because her boss Dr F is unethical and dishonest! In the Bible and in the world I've learned ignore all that glitters and go for the humble the real people the decent people the ethical people and Cedeno falls in that category plus they're just really excellent teachers and they care!!!!!!
