Kay / Mr. Stoner was an excellent, patient and safe instructor! I'm 33 and just moved here in April from Chicago. I never learned nor needed to drive so I was starting from scratch! Kay walked me through all the important pieces, we got plenty of practice on the road, and I felt super equipped to take my test (which I passed!). I would highly, highly recommend him and the team if you're just learning like I was, need some brushing up on skills, or want a patient co-pilot to help you through some of the trickier aspects of driving. Can't recommend enough!

I wish I could give P.E.R.S.E.P.T.I.O.N.S. more than 5 stars. They are affordable compared to most driving schools. From the very first day I met Mr. Stoner (Kayson) and Mrs. Stoner (Natalie) I knew I made the right decision. Mr. Stoner is very patient, resourceful and a great instructor. I had no experience behind the wheel and some anxiety but with the help of Mr. Stoner I overcame my fear and learned how to drive at 24! He teaches you everything you need to know and is very supportive. He also takes the time to get to know you and builds a relationship with you. I’ve never felt more confident behind the wheel as i do now! If you’re thinking about singing up, it’s your sign I promise you won’t regret it! Thank you so much Mr and Mrs Stoner!

I had an awesome experience as a beginner on the road with him as he was so patient to teach me the proper way of driving even his own techniques to ensure that ill be a competent and defensive driver . I honestly don't even know where to begin. The first thing that impressed me about Mr. Stoner was his pleasant and calm demeanor. My son was anxious and stressed about learning how to drive and Mr. Stoner put him at immediate ease. Maxwell gained continued confidence as the lessons continued. Mr. Stoner's skills were as much about good driving techniques as they were about creating a mentoring environment. Although we interviewed other businesses, we did not find a peer in most categories and what was most important to us was to have our son driving in a calm and relaxing setting. If anyone wants to improve on their driving skills, this school is the choice for you! My instructor was Mr. Stoner and he was an extraordinary teacher. They are very prompt, and getting in touch with them is hassle free. They even prorated my lesson fees when I realized that I would need additional classes! I had an amazing experience with Mr. Stoner. He was an amazing teacher, he explained the reason behind the proper ways to drive rather than just telling me that this is the way to do it, and he genuinely cared about teaching people to be good drivers and to be safe not only for the reason of the driving test but to be safe all the time and care about the way you drive. The ride with him was very enjoyable and he asked some very thought provoking questions that really made it a good conversation, on top of the fact that he is a very intriguing person and has a lot of wisdom behind him. I’m a bit late but here is a very thorough review. Before this school, trying to learn how to drive at my age was very hard, especially since I had no experience and didn’t want to learn due to previous experiences. Mr. Stoner pushed me to the limit and brought out a confidence that I wasn’t expecting when driving. I am truly grateful to everyone at Perceptions because as a college student, I have a busy schedule dealing with classes, exams, working, etc. They were truly patient with me and adjusted to my schedule. I had the pleasure of learning with Mr. Stoner. He is a great teacher and builds strong, long-lasting relationships with his students. I am new to driving and wasn't very comfortable or confident in the drivers seat but he pushed me to excel behind the wheel. Mr. Stoner was a very competent teacher, and the driving school improved my driving immensely. Each day he was relatively punctual, and by using the radio/a constant stream of talking he was able to make me both relax while driving and get me used to driving with distractions. Mr.Stoner is an amazing instructor. When i was 9 I gotten into a really bad car accident which resulted in me being a coma for 4 days. My family and I were worried that I would never be able to drive but I was not going to let that stop me. I chose PERSEPTIONS Driving School as my path to being able to drive without being afraid. I took classes with Mr. Stoner and not only learn how to drive but I learned how to be comfortable behind the wheel. I learned a lot that will stick with me throughout my years and I plan on teaching young drivers to be safe on the road and learn how to be comfortable with being behind the wheel. Without Mr. Stoner I would not being driving. He makes sure you are comfortable behind the wheel while you're driving. All of my stresses and worries went away. Perseptions comes highly recommended in my book. Mr Stoner was an absolute God send for my son. He's vision impaired so he presents a bit of a challenge and knowing that I searched a great deal to find someone with that type of experience. I can wholeheartedly say He exceeded EVERY expectation, and my sons confidence has increased tremendously. I highly recommend this driving school. The instructors are professional, punctual, friendly, and informative. My parents and I were very apprehensive about driving, but on my third lesson, I drove on the highway! The original plan was to do all my driving with Perceptions, but after the first 4 lessons, my parents felt confident enough to let me drive with them! The driving school will pick you up and drop you off at your house. Since my family didn't know very much about how driver's ed works, my instructor came in to explain it all to my parents after my lesson, which I am very grateful for. They are also affordable. Mr. Stoner will help you fix bad habits and teach you how to pass your driving test, which he will give you. After one week of driver's ed with Perceptions, you will be given your license.

This is the best driving school in the area. I did the private lessons and behind the wheel and I had so much fun and learned SO MUCH. Mr Stoner is literally one of the best teachers I had period. He didn’t just teach me about driving, he opened my eyes to how much God works wonders. He wasn’t the type of teacher to just worry about passing us and move on. He took the time to get to know us and build a relationship with us. You can’t say the same about other teachers. For most of my life, the message I got from my parents (especially my mother) was "Stephanie, you're never going to drive." This was backed up by various half-baked arguments that I won't go into. Well, when I moved out, I decided to sign up for driving lessons. After struggling with DMV for entirely too long, I finally got my permit and signed up for driving lessons. The first driving school I went to gave me an unpleasant experience. The instructor yelled a lot and threatened to make me walk home if I kept making mistakes. She reminded me of my mother (who was adamant on ensuring that I was never going to drive). What little confidence I had was shaken. Then I found P.E.R.S.E.P.T.I.O.N.S. Driving School. They were great about communicating with me. When it came to the first lesson, I was a ball of nerves. Mr. Stoner helped me build my confidence back up. He played upbeat music and made great conversation, while improving my skills. He restored my confidence and even built it up! P.E.R.S.E.P.T.I.O.N.S. Driving School also offers a road test for adults. It's not on the website, but you can text or call. The first time I tried to take my road test, I was so nervous that I made a bunch of mistakes and failed. I ended up crying. Thankfully, Mr. Stoner has the patience of a saint - he said to put that behind me because I just needed more practice. With those words in mind, I signed up for two more lessons. The second of those lessons, Mr. Stoner encouraged me to "have a strong driving game" (he was a basketball coach too). At the end, he congratulated me and said I had passed my road test! He didn't say it was my road test because he knew I got nervous the first time and he wanted me to pass. This school gave me what I needed to become a safe and confident driver. I have to struggle with DMV some more, but at least I know that I *CAN* drive! "If people say you're bad at something, get good at one thing: proving them wrong." ~SMS

Mr. Stoner, the instructor, was very informative and helpful. He lets you know exactly what's being done incorrectly and how to improve it. He also made a point of answering any and all questions and making sure that all the information given is absorbed. All in all a positive experience, would recommend this school to all new drivers.

Oh my god what can I say this has been the most Amazing driving experience I’ve ever had I suffer from anxiety because I’ve been in car accidents in the past from other people driving for me and I never thought I would ever want to drive somehow he got rid of my fear he was Patient with me which is a plus he understands he breaks down every little detail until you get it right. On the first day, I was very nervous. I didn't know what my instructor would be like. But after that first day, I found out it was going to be a very good week. On the first day, my instructor, Mr. Stoner, explained to me and my driving partner, that he wanted to get to know us, have a good week, and our only rule for that week was to have fun. It was a very calm week. I was expecting to be nervous and feel pressured because my instructor was sitting right next to me. But he made it a very comfortable week, where all 3 of us could just talk about our likes and dislikes, what we did in our spare time, our families, etc. I'm definitely glad that I was able to sign up with P.E.R.S.E.P.T.I.O.N.S. Driving School. It made the whole life-changing situation bareable, fun, and not so nerve-wrecking. My instructor was very patient and over the week, I was able to improve greatly.

Every aspect of my experience with P.E.R.S.E.P.T.I.O.N.S. Driving School was GREAT! Starting with the phenomenal customer Natalie provided from the very first time I called to her booking my BTW Adult classes. Mr. Allen was my instructor and provided me with everything I needed to know to get my license. I took 6 hours (3 days) with him and was very nervous because I had abosouley no experience behind the wheel, however he made sure I was comfortable from the very beginning and by the end of day one, I was on the road and day two comfortable enough to get on the highway. I received my liscense on day four. I would absolutely recommended P.E.R.S.E.P.T.I.O.N.S. great coustomer service, professional but comforting environment while driving and overall the best service for your buck!

Mr Cruz took away all my anxiety. I never thought I was going to be able to drive because I was always so nervous. Anyone who tried to teach me just made me anxious and I wasn't able to learn. However, mr. cruz was such a great instructor.
