I would highly recommend Mid America Driving School. Our daughter had extreme text anxiety and failed the exam multiple times prior to receiving lessons. We contacted Mid America upon recommendation of a family friend. Our daughter completed the various lessons with Glen and proudly passed her exam today with a great score, and her nerves were totally calm. After frustration in trying to teach my teenage daughter how to drive, we received a recommendation for Mid-American Acc.of Driving. Glenn was AWESOME! My daughter was beyond frustrated and was not responding to us. She had completed Drivers Ed, had a lot of hours of driving and didn’t not test well. Her anxiety about driving, and the test was overwhelming all of us. She really fought us on the whole idea of retaining Glenn and their company. But after one lesson and then a second one, her confidence rose, she was able to parallel park like a champ, and she really retained what he was teaching her. I’m very confident in her driving now!

Both of my kids took driving lessons from Glenn. He was great with them, they both felt very comfortable with him. He taught them a lot of different things about their city regarding driving and their safety. Each lesson was a different setting so they learned something new each time. They were amazing!! We used Brian for our daughter and he was great with her. He made her feel confident and comfortable and made us feel the same way! She passed her test with confidence and ease! I felt that Brian went above and beyond with talking to her about how to be aware of her surroundings when she is alone in the car, and what she could do to protect herself. Glenn not only prepared them for their driving test but also taught them how to drive in various conditions and locations. City driving is very different than driving on country roads. My youngest son just passed his drivers test after taking lessons with John Gastreich, who also taught my oldest son to drive. Both boys really liked learning with John, and both passed their drivers test on the first try. John was all around great. He kept us informed and took time to explain the program and what to anticipate. Highly recommend John at Mid America Academy if Driving!

We signed our daughter up for a few of Glen's driving classes and he was incredible! Glen is not just a highly skilled instructor but he truly made the learning experience fun and memorable, which also helped our daughter retain all of the important information and driving skills. She passed her driving test with a score of 94 and is a very safe and confident driver, thanks to Glen. My wife and I highly recommend him!

My daughter turned 16 this Labor Day and her instructor Keonta was so awesome and gave her the last driving lesson on Labor Day, his day off!! Mia felt very comfortable with him and he was so good at building her confidence. She took the test on Tuesday and passed with a 91%. She would not be the driver she has become if we (her mom and dad) were working with her. I highly recommend this company and Keonta for your son or daughter's driving lesson!

I cannot say enough good things about Glenn as s driving instructor!!! This is one of the best investments in my daughter and her education that I have ever made. Glenn gave driving lessons to my daughter last fall and she got a 100% on the driving exam and that was in a Hummer! She was thrilled with that and so were we. Not only did he cover al the basics, he also covers so much that we would never have thought of if we only taught her ourselves. Most importantly, he gave her confidence in every driving situation. We'll be using Mid-America Driving Acandemy again for our other 2 sons.

More than just a regular driving school that teaches you the basics. I would never have thought to teach my daughter some of the things that they covered. My daughter had both Travis & Glen. Glen did test prep with her on the same route she actually took her test. He was there to cheer her on test day. Mid America Academy of Driving was easy to contact , flexible schedule and we had the same instructor each time . The instructor came into our house and greeted us each time, explained what the days lesson was going to be and made sure we understood the goals of the lesson. At the end of the lesson he followed up with us and discussed the next lesson. Would recommend for anyone who has a beginner driver especially for a nervous driver. Our daughter was very relaxed and felt confident with her instructor Travis. Very good experience with this company and recommend Travis .

BOTH of my sons worked with Glen to prepare for their driving tests - and It was well worth it! First - it will go a long way for your relationship with your child to have someone other than YOU correcting them (plus they tend to listen better to someone else). All joking aside, Glen taught them both things I could not. My oldest scored a 97 and my second scored a 100! Most importantly - my oldest has now been driving for almost 3 years - no accidents, no tickets. And I've had other teenagers make comments on what a good driver he is. There's no price on their safety - so THANK YOU for making them as prepared, and safe, as possible!

6 star! Extra star for Glen, I highly recommend Mid America Academy of Driving, they are flexible and friendly. Glen was a wonderful instructor , he even taught me highway driving and I drove on the highway for the very 1st time, but because of the way Glen teaches, I wasn't anxious at all and was confident even on the 1st drive! He did a mock test session fo me and helped me understand the expectation from the test before I went it for the actual test. The trick he taught for parallel parking was so helpful, I perfected it in just 3 tries! I cannot thank you enough for being such a patient and wonderful instructor Glen!

Amazing driving school. They helped teach my daughter how to drive. She passed the test at 100%. They are very professional yet very down to earth. Lessons include great tips for driving as well as parking. They do drivers test prep, highway driving and go over the grids for downtown St Louis among other driving lessons. If I could give them 10 stars I would Great value. Great people. Plus it helps with the insurance rate

If you have or know new drivers, please consider lessons with Mid America Academy of Driving. It will be one of the best investments you make as Glen and team equip their students with a lifetime of important skills. Glen taught two of our three children to drive. Just this week, those skills helped to save my 20 year old son’s life and the lives of the driver and passengers in the other car. Justin was involved in a horrible accident. He watched as an oncoming driver on a 2 lane road, in light rain, going 60 + mph dropped the right tires of her vehicle off the shoulder of the road. He said he immediately remembered Glen taking him through this exact scenario and knew that the driver would very possibly overcorrect and come right at him. In the seconds he had, he began to slow down, move to the right and brace for impact. Sure enough, the other driver cut her wheel hard, brought the car back onto the road, crossed the center line and began to spin in front of Justin’s car. Immediate impact and both cars totaled. Fortunately, all involved got out of the cars and walked away. The state trooper at the accident site told Justin: ” You did a really good job by slowing down and this could have been much worse. You were observant and slowed down when you saw her coming.
