Absolutely great experience. I came from Seattle to take the road test. No matter the staff and road conditions, definitely far better than those in Seattle. Yeah, the one near UW. Around 50th St. I must mention, The instructor from Redmond office, Alex is extremely helpful. He went over the specific items I need to notice before I went on the road. Though I passed the test, he still let me keep in mind those behaviors which need to be improved. Very responsible and keep students accountable. He also let me drive with confidence at the first attempt. No hesitation and just follow the state traffic laws. I am so glad he is my instructor. I learned a lot from him. Thanks for being so awesome. I really appreciate. Also, to be honest , price to take any tests here is much cheaper than those in Seattle. 😏And easy to be accessed by public transportation. Even includes the commute cost, still cheaper. Service is the first priority. And this is absolutely FANTASTIC. Gradually know from my own experience why those big tech companies are leaving Seattle. During the pandemic, the Redmond office does a really good job on social distancing and disinfect those pens and boards after students used. Strongly recommend Alex!👍😎 Had a very good time with Redmond. Will be back. We are not that far, aren’t we?

I passed my driving test and very much thankful to my instructor Liam. I really couldn't have asked for a better instructor. He is a very good instructor, friendly and teaches all driving techniques with a lot of patience. My confidence level increased after attending driving class here and now I drive my own car to all places. I highly recommend 911 driving in Redmond and Liam as instructor. He was calm, patient, and absolutely ensured an environment where I felt anxiety-free and could focus on the test. Seriously, this guy is the best!

I purchased the Advanced Teen Package for my son and he really enjoyed the drives with the instructor, Brady. I paid for him to take the class portion online, 5 drives & then the road/written tests. I allowed him to take his time to do his drives and it worked out that he turned 16 right in the middle of it. You do have to be 15.5. This is definitely an independent driving school where if you want to be involved in every step you're really not. I literally paid & scheduled & let my teen do the rest. I did approach Brady once & he gave me feedback on my sons driving when asked. Now onto the knowledge & driving portion. Thanks for being a local school!

Liam is a fabulous examiner. I went to this school for a driving test exam. I passed the exam with 92%. Liam was friendly, amazing to talk to and made me feel less anxious about the test. You have to be very specific with the person who picks the call usually at their office with little chance of asking to repeat what she once mentioned, you can feel it in the call. She did help me schedule the appointment on the same day and helped me know the examiner name and other details clearly which was really helpful. My major interaction was with Liam, the instructor who was easier to get along. I gave the test in my own car. In the end, Liam gave me an explanation on 2 silly mistakes which I made during the test for which I lost few points. And I was happy that i passed the exam with 92%. Overall, a friendly experience with Liam. I highly recommend this place for driving tests.

I had a great experience with 9-1-1 driving school of Redmond. I took in car lessons and my driving test here and everything went smoothly. The staff is friendly, thoroughly helped in scheduling lessons. I got a chance to learn from Barret, Nick and Kyna. All 3 of them are super friendly and excellent instructors. They made my learning experience fun and less stressful. Finally, I took my skill test with Liam, passed in first attempt. I took half an hour warm up session before the test. He explained where I could loose marks and made me super comfortable. Really appreciate his approach. Overall an amazing learning experience. Highly recommended!!

Hi all. I had a good experience with 911 driving school Bellevue. Here I took some learning lessons with chris and julie reiman they very extremely super instructors with lots of patience. Chris gave me lots of hope and tips to clear my road test. Also special thanks to him for teaching me the parallel parking which I thought it was tough, but it was very easy after he taught me. Finally I would like to thank my road test examiner Zaheer,he is also good and gave me very clear instructions and guided me well in my road test. Thats how I cleared my road test. Thanks a lot once again.

Just completed my 5 adult driving lessons and it was all in all a very good experience. I have to give special thanks to Mike & Jeff, Kyna for providing me with conducive lessons that helped me passed my exam. On the exam day, Cory was my tester and even though I was very nervous, he was able to assure me and guide me through my warm up. He made the entire test stress free. I highly recommend this school.

I passed my driving test yesterday on 01/27/22. My instructor was DEUTSCH, Jeff and he was amazing. He clearly mentioned all instructions before we started test and encouraged me to ask questions in case of I had any. That opened communication channel which made me feel less anxious. Also he advised me to follow SMOG (Signal, Mirror, Over the Shoulder and Go) approach, that helped lot. I highly recommend 9-1-1 school for driving lessons and road test.

Took knowledge test and skill test there, excellent services and friendly staffs. I took the skill test with a warm-up session. Liam from the school took me on a mock test for the warm up. During that, he explained where I lost my points and how should I fix it, and more importantly the reason why we have to pay attention on them for driving safely. He also gave me compliment and confidence for the test later. Afterwards when I was in the skill test, he'd given me nice and clear instructions, and I was able to pass the test with one shot. Thanks again and I'd recommend Liam as a good instructor. Great job!

Having just moved to Washington from Massachusetts this week, I was able to take the knowledge exam and driving exam in the same day without any hassle. Liam administered my driving test, and I really couldn't have asked for a better instructor. 10 years ago I have been in an accident (I was not driving, my friend was), after that incident I struggled really hard to drive. I used to get all sweaty when I hold the steering.. since 2 years I have taken several classes from different instructors. I did learn to drive but those classes did not help me with my confidence. The person I wanted to thank for helping me overcome fear and build my confidence is Liam. I have taken 5 classes with him and with Kyna. they were both amazing :) Thank you Guys. Thanks a tone. Always learn from this place….I would say if you really want to learn with rules and laws this is the place. All the instructors are really good. Kyna was my first instructor. She gave me confidence on wheels. Jason,Jeff and cory all other explains and trains really very well.Liam teaches you with the drawings where you can improve. I highly recommend this school because the staff were very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. I felt the entire process went smoothly, from the knowledge test to the road test, and for the road test my examiner was Liam. He was very friendly, clear and informative throughout the test, and despite me being very nervous before the test started, I felt I was quite calm and relaxed during it, and so I highly recommend Liam because he's a great examiner!

Redmond 911 Driving school is one driving school, I would recommend to every one who wants to learn correct driving. Just recently I had driving lessons there and I am more than satisfied. Their instructors are very good. Special mention about Brian and Robert. They are police officers and no doubt they know the rules of the road better than anyone else. But more importantly they are very friendly and patient. I was very pleased with their behavior. The office staff is also very good and efficient. They respond to e-mails promptly and follow up on the phone as well. I am an experienced driver and hence took only 2 lessons and 1 attempt to pass the driving test. During the test they observe very good points which we tend to ignore. If you are looking for a good driving school in Bellevue/Redmond area, I would definitely recommend this one.

I talked to one of the agents at facility and requested her to book a slot for lesson and drive test. She said, I need to make a payment first but in the meantime she would hold the slot temporarily for an hour and asked me call her back so she could finalize the appointment. I had made the payment around couple of days back. But since then I m really struggling to get an appointment. Whenever I call, no one picks up the phone. I have sent couple of emails as well but still no response. Update: Issue finally got resolved. Thanks

Started at the school with no experience of driving whatsoever. Going through my 10 hours of lessons(my full package), I rapidly gained confidence in driving on the road. My instructor for most of the lessons was Ed Hopkins, who was extremely patient with my mistakes, and undeniably knowledgeable as well. His cheerful words of encouragement never fails to make my day. He is a large kind man with a great heart for cars, and I enjoyed every drive with him. Thank you, 911 Driving School for providing me with such a wonderful time picking up a skill. I would definitely highly recommend this school for anyone who wants to pick up driving. Ask for Ed!

Took road test with warm up here. Instructer was quite informative. Despite being crunched for time for the warm up, he helped me practice a few maneovers I was weak in that helped me gain confidence. He also reminded me about road rules that test takers often forget. Scheduling was easy. Highly recommended.

Brilliant. I couldn't have made a better decision to choose a driving school. I started with zero experience and came out full of confidence. Mostly all instructors are good. A special mention for Robert, Brian. You may fail the test a couple of times or more. I did too. But you should look at it positively. Robert always told me 'Better make mistakes in a test than on the road.' Driving is not a joke. Go for 911. Instructors are cops and no one else can teach you better.

I passed my driving test and written test here. Both at the first attempt. I took a 40 mins warmup session before driving test. My instructor was Lindsay and she was very nice to explain what not to do during the test. I scored 92%. The people are very helpful there. If you are planning to take the tests, this is the place you should go to even if you have to wait for couple of weeks. Their test is very methodical and you'll exactly know about the mistakes and scores.

Really good driving school. I took the 10 classes and scheduled most of my lessons with Justin. He is a really good instructor. I didn't drive a lot in India. The driving system and the rules in India are really different from that in in U.S. Plus, I couldn't practice as I don't own a car. Justin really helped me get comfortable with the car and the rules. My advice when you walk into '911 driving school' ask for a very experienced instructor. I had a great experience with Mr. Brady "the instructor". He is very good at teaching. He helps people understand practically,(like if you take your leg off the breaks, or forget to release the parking breaks, forget to check the blind spot etc.,) and he is there with you every step of the way to help you understand and register the concept of driving a car. I had an amazing learning experience at 911 driving school.

JR Lipana is the best instructor. He is calm and will teach you parallel parking and backing around the corner very well.After class, he gave me feedback about my driving and areas of improvement. He actually drew on paper and helped me visualising things ( like backing of car, parallel parking etc ). He will definitely boost your confidence. I had one bad experience with one lady else I enrolled for 5 classes and they were enough for new drivers ( Though I practiced a lot after each class :) )

I took my driving lessons there and I am more than satisfied. Instructors are very good - mine was Braidy. I never had any problem with parallel parking or backing up bcz Braidy explained it so well that there is little chance of making mistake. Robert is kind and understanding, so if you are lucky you might get him as examiner for the road test. I would recommend this to everyone.

I highly recommend this driving school, and my instructor, Brady. I have taken classes at 911 driving school in Redmond and Bellevue with different instructors and found Brady to be the best. I had never driven a car before, been a motorcycle guy all my life. Brady helped me with basics in the first lesson, and in the later classes helped with fine tuning the skills and ironing out the weaknesses. He is friendly, doesnt waste the class time with too much banter but at the same time provides the comfort level to freely ask questions and clarify things. He has a sharp eye for the mistakes you do, and helps with correcting them. Great instructor overall !

The staff is really helpful and the instructors are good too, but be careful about card payments. When you pay by card at their location, the staff person will type in the card number and CVV into his screen as opposed to swiping it in some machine! What if the he/she also copy pastes those numbers in some notepad and misuses them later or simply sells those numbers to someone else. I am not questioning the reliability of staff, but just want to bring this to attention. I would suggest that you schedule the classes/test on phone and log into your account to pay for that appointment. I had scheduled two driving sessions with two different instructors, both of them made sure that they let me know the tips and tricks of better driving.I wasn't able to steer the wheel well while backing up, but one of them showed me his preferred way of doing it and it was really helpful. I would have given 5 stars if they had the standard card payment process.

I recently moved here from Canada and was daunted by both the fact of learning to drive in a different country and by driving itself (being someone who waited a while to get her license because of nerves). I signed up for their 5 lesson package and began driving with Ed, one of their instructors. Ed was fantastic! From the easy and logical way he explained things (i.e. rules of the road, how to think ahead as a driver, how to understand and react to your surroundings) to the way he chatted with you to help you learn to multitask with both driving safely and carrying a conversation with a passenger, he was an incredible teacher that made me feel safe in the car and prepared for the road. After 5 lessons, he gauged my progress and catered a few more lessons towards what I needed practice doing. I passed the driving test with ease (something I had been afraid of for years!) and am still grinning over the achievement. I would recommend Ed as an instructor (and 911 Driving School as a driving school) in a heartbeat to anyone who is learning to drive for the first time and is nervous about it! They really take you through it and set you up for success.

I'm new to WA, so I emailed 911 in Redmond to find out more about process of obtaining the WA Driver's License. Angie was very helpful, and surprisingly answered my emails on Sunday afternoon! I called in a week later to confirm a knowledge test and schedule a road test. Again, prompt replies. They have qualified and very kind staff. I came in Tuesday morning, took my written test and then had a road exam with Corry (i think that's his name). Very professional. They submitted my results to DMV immediately, so i drove straight to DMV in Bel-Red and finished the application process. I decided for 911 because this was the most convenient location to my home, and they have lower fees than some other places. Overall, I'm highly satisfied with services offered by 911 Driving School of Redmond, would recommend to anyone.

Mixed experience here, went there to take my written test and road test then with my wife for lessons and test as well. Most of the times receptionists gave us incorrect or incomplete information, except on Saturdays. Instructors were great and helped my wife to gain confidence to drive by herself in 10 lessons. For my wife's road test the lady was late and when my wife made a mistake she was not supportive and killed her confidence.

There is one guy who would fail your driving test just because he's unsatisfied with life, so don't think it is your fault - it's not. He's done it to everyone who had misfortune to waste an hour of life on him. Other instructors are great and the school overall is very nice.

Very nice and friendly office/instructor. Initially I was bit skeptical as all are cops or ex-cops. However when I took a test with them they were extremely nice and helpful. Took the wan up session followed by test. The lady at the front desk was also very helpful and efficient. Highly recommended.

They are miracle workers at the Redmond school. I thought it was impossible that my high school age daughter could ever learn to drive. But she did, and passed the driving exam on the first try. I really enjoyed taking drivers ed here it helped me out a lot and when I took the knowledge test yesterday I was a little nervous but I focused on the test and I passed it if your a person looking to take drivers ed I recommend taking 911 driving school :)

The teachers are mostly great. Some of them just want to get through their day and don't give much instruction. Ask for Ed Hopkins - he's one of the best teachers there.

I just took the driving test, I was very nervous, sweating hands and heavy breathing, but the examiner was very nice and calm, I pass the test it was fast not easy but I was prepared, so if you know the rules and respect them there is no reason to fail.
