I really had a great time learning how to safely operate several types of motorcycles while earning my endorsement for AZ. All of the coaches we met, but especially Merlo & Kevin Flynn, were so professional and skilled, while still humble and fun-loving! I highly recommend Team AZ for anyone looking to earn their endorsement, improve their skills, or learn how to be an informed co-rider. You will learn, and develop skills, while having a good time and meeting great people! Even our young female riders with no previous experience were able to safely learn & enjoy the 2 day class! As a beginner rider I cannot recommend this place enough! James and Tony were my coaches this past weekend James was high energy and super informative and really answered any and all questions and went above and beyond. Tony was the range coach and showed us so many amazing skills and these two really were an amazing pair. My whole class passed both written and ridding. I would highly recommend doing a class that does the ridding first as it really just makes the class room part way easier having done the skills physically first. Also I was told by Ridenow that I would get a 349 dollar credit towards safety gear after passing this test and we did get that but Ridenow left out the part where you have to buy a bike from them to get that credit. So just a heads up has nothing to do with Team Arizona just wanted to mention that. One thing I loved is that both my coaches rode their bikes to work daily and had them parked at the range. just shows how they really are about the bike lifestyle and it just made me trust them even more! Please note the MSF course the fastest I went was 25mph and in second gear. So you will have to practice on your own to get street ready but.. this course is meant to take any skill level and give them a solid foundation to build on. I plan on taking many more courses and My interactions with James and Tony truly made me so happy to be on two wheels!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!! This place was great! James and Nick were my instructors, and they were remarkable. James kept it light and fun in the classroom, he was hilarious! Also shared some stories from his personal riding experience, to help us really understand the potential dangers that are really out there. I really appreciate how dedicated James is to riding, but riding safely. So thanks James, hope to see ya out there one day on Elliot!..When we hit the course we met our instructor Nick. Nick was just as equally awesome as James. He made us very comfortable on the course. At one point I got so flustered, and it was Nick who kinda calmed me down, and helped me get out of my head. So a big big thanks man! And also a huge thanks to Team Arizona for having these courses available. The knowledge from this course is phenomenal! Hasselhoff out!

Writing this review with a big grin on my face. A few weeks back I took the intro course with Chris and I forget the other guys name, but anyways that was a good primer to convince me that I wanted to ride. Fast forward to this weekend I took the basic rider course with Eli and Bailey. They both taught very well and made me feel comfortable riding a motorcycle. This leads up today to me riding my first motorcycle from the dealership to home and I felt I was adequately prepared to do so. So glad I came here and will be rolling in on my Vulcan in the future to take the confident rider course. Thanks Team AZ!!

I just finished the endorsement course and it was really fun and educational. I came in having zero experience riding and left with the knowledge and experience needed to get started riding safely. My husband and I took the TEAM Arizona Motorcycle class in Glendale and had an AMAZING time! This was my first time ever getting on a bike or riding and both Joe and Randy made the course fun as well instructing all us riders on how to maneuver the bike, ride, safety and the basic for being a rider. They both are great riders and I really had a great 2 days of learning and getting to feel super comfortable on my bike. They had great tips on improving when I needed more help and encouraging when I needed to try something a second time. They also let you know how well you did and what was key in being a good and safe rider. I will definitely be taking more courses and would recommend the class and these 2 guys to anyone looking to ride. Thanks for an awesome weekend!!

Highly recommended for all rider experience levels! The Basic Riders Course breaks down the basic skills that are paramount in riding a motorcycle in a fun, safe and educational manner. I've been riding on and off for 25 years and I have absolutely no regrets in attending this course. James was excellent at teaching the classroom material. Robert and Nick taught the range course in a way that made 6 hrs go by in the blink of an eye. All bikes are in great condition and the course is clearly marked and easy to understand. Don't miss out the opportunity to better yourself as rider!

I had a great experience with my riding coaches Beth and Patrick. They did an excellent job of training and explaining things to us. I also would like to give a huge shout out to James our classroom instructor he explained things to us in great detail. He also did an excellent job interacting with everyone in the room especially with his own stories about riding. I would also like to thank Alexis very much for rescheduling me so fast after a family situation that I couldn’t take the test originally. My daughter and I were able to attend Team Arizona's Advanced Rider Course, today. This course is awesome. I would recommend this course to any one wanting to up their motorcycle skills. Andrea and Craig were our coaches. Not only are they 2 wheel geniuses, they are 2 of the top coaches around. They are able to articulate the skill sets to multiple levels of rider comprehension. Looking forward to taking this course with my son, in the future.

I took the Basic Rider Course with Sean Kelly as both the riding course instructor and classroom instructor. My experience in this course was almost entirely due to how patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging Sean was throughout the entire training. As someone who has only rode on the back of a motorcycle, I was a bit nervous to change roles as the driver, but the pace of the course gradually introduces you to the bike, and the transition in terms of moving from one skill to the next felt comfortable. The exercises on the road course prepare you for the driving test so none of the test exercises came as a surprise. Overall, I had a great experience with Sean at Team Arizona and recommend anyone wanting to learn to ride a motorcycle, or even practice safe riding habits if you already have some bike basics, to take this class. Thank you, Sean!!

Sean and Brian were excellent instructors. Sean ran a smooth and efficient course in the classroom allowing us breaks at a good rate and gave us an hour for lunch. Then out on the track Sean teamed up with Brian and they ran a safe roadway with great results. Everyone passed. Nobody got hurt. And only I laid a bike down... Which is kinda my thing and why I took the course. This course helped me a lot with acknowledging that I may indeed be crazier than I am skilled! Thanks Guys... What can I say, as a first time rider and owner of a 04 GsxR600💚 with no experience. I already feel like a better rider then I was 48hrs ago. A lot of knowledge is slammed on ya in 48hrs but my guy James is here to hold it down. I really like how he took info and situations in the book and related them to his real life experience(s) and things he saw. I definitely felt a "rider" connection with James. I can say there wasn't a question unanswered in our two day class. James, you really the man bro. But James, you know I gotta give ALL the glory to my guy Chris and the South side track aha. The thing I felt I really struggled with on day one were those low speed 90º turns. Each time I asked Chris about the counter balance or me even barely falling off. He gave me great advice. I mean it was simple and straightforward buhh he ain't give up on me. Even toady when I told him I was having trouble. He showed me a few gestures(shoulder movement/placement) to do on the bike and that really helped me more then he knows. I said it once and I'll say it again. Excellent class. Instructors Sean and Heath (or Keith sorry my man.. I’m bad with names 😉) provided world class instruction. Also had a great time and truly enjoyed myself. I feel a lot more confident now and Sean’s information on safe riding strategies is what I was looking for. 2 big thumbs up for these guys and the facility. Put my son through the course a couple of months ago and he inspired me to do it myself so that we can ride together.

I’m not one to leave a ton of reviews, but I really wanted to write about my experience at TEAM Arizona Motorcycle Riding’s beginners course. I have just a little experience riding. I had purchased a bike 8 years ago and tried to self teach myself. I was never confident in my ability to be defensive on major streets. I eventually moved and the bike just sat until we sold it. So recently I decided to take this class and I am SO glad that I did. Sean and Ryan did an amazing job coaching our group through riding basics for. Beginning to end. The classroom time and coursework was focused and super helpful. I felt prepared to tackle the written test. The road training was also awesome. They are so patient and understand that we’re all from different levels and walks of life. They don’t rush anyone past their comfort level, but also help you build confidence to work through the course. They never focused on what I did wrong, but provided constructive feedback that helped me the next time around. I feel absolutely great leaving this course. I am excited to purchase a bike and practice so I can take some of the more advanced courses too! Thank you so much to Sean and Ryan and the rest of TEAM Arizona Motorcycle Riding for putting together such a fantastic program!

I had a little bit of experience riding from friends and family growing up and I quickly learned that I didn't learn what I needed to from my previous experiences. The basic rider course was absolutely amazing. Our instructor Sean was great, kind, and very knowledgable from his previous experiences and training. We also had a field coach, Brian, who was also amazing and super fun to work with. Both coaches were very informative and answer every question I had as well as all of my classmates. I feel very confident now entering the AZ roadways on a motorcycle. I highly recommend this course as a way to learn safety, basic maneuvering skills, and get your endorsement. As someone who always rode passenger, I decided it was time for me to get my own motorcycle to help with increasing gas prices. I chose to ride a scooter as that is what I planned on riding outside the course. The instructors were very thorough and helpful. They gave tips and tricks and helpful suggestions to not only build my confidence but to help me know what my weaknesses and strengths are so that I can work on them or utilize them better. I absolutely recommend taking the basic rider course if you want to start riding a motorcycle. I couldn’t have passed my test without them.

I can't recommend them enough! If you want to ride a motorcycle, these guys will help you realize that goal. Sean and Brian are especially helpful in teaching you all the skills you need to know and encouraging you through the learning process. Took the BRC on 27 September 2022. I have never rode a motorcycle before. They have motorcycles for anyone of any size, they give you safety handbooks for you to take home and you get your MSF safety card upon completion of the BRC to take to the MVD/DMV to get your endorsement, simple as that. The course was very informative and the instructors were very patient and encouraging. I didn't think I would pass my first time, but instructors Sean and Keith (they work in pairs) were simply the best, they made me feel safe while also building my confidence. When I had trouble with a subject, they introduced the topic or maneuver in a different way that I could understand. I end up passing the course with flying colors! If you take this course at this location, ASK FOR SEAN & KEITH. Cheers!

The Husband and I took the basic motorcycle riders course 11/28-11/29 at Buddy Stubbs HD. The course was easy to understand, not intimidating in any way. Logical, step-by-step solid progression presented in a way that teaches sound motorcycle skills practice and emphasis on safety first and foremost. Our classroom instructor & range master Jon P. is THE GO TO GUY! I cannot say enough good things about him. He is a gem to your program. His ability to correctly read his students and adjust to each one to bring out their best abilities was spot on and in addition, he provided awesome encouragement to the whole group. Those who had zero experience were encouraged to believe that they had the ability to do this, it existed within them and all they had to do was follow instruction and they did! You can tell he loves what he does and he does it so well. Even his demonstrations are perfection but not overwhelming at the same time. Attainable for everyone willing to listen and try! Thank you for a great experience! I will be recommending this course to anyone who wants to learn how to ride.

I would 100% recommend before getting on a motorcycle for the street and getting an endorsement! I had coach Sean in the classroom and Coaches Sean and Ryan on the 'range' for the practical skills. They were professional and knowledgeable and were able to work with folks of all skill levels, from never having been on a motorcycle, to those who picked things up fairly quickly. I have some trail motorcycle riding experience from childhood, and I'm currently a mountain biker, so some of those skills translated, and I was amazed how much I learned from just a couple days of classroom and range time. The training has made me much more thoughtful in my role as a rider on the street and the risks and fun that motorcycling on the road entails. Do it! If you're on the fence, do it! Thanks to TEAM AZ, hopefully I'll be back for more moto skills training once I get my own bike.

Sean and Beth were great and really patient. They took their time explaining everything and always calmly informed us if we made a mistake. Coming from riding a scooter in Taiwan, I was only vaguely familiar with riding a true motorbike. After listening to their instructions both on and off the range I ended up passing with perfect marks. The nervousness was nonexistent with this two instructors and I highly recommend taking this course. I learned a lot!

Couldn't recommend this course more for anyone new to riding or looking to create a good foundation of skills to build off of. I, being a natural born winner, was part of the #Northside. Meaning my instructors were James and Nick, who both were phenomenal at their jobs and the passion they have for riding motorcycles really shown through. I had zero experience before this course and had a bit of anxiety going into this, especially after finding out we started on the range right away. This was all unjustified as James and Nick made sure we had everything at our disposal we needed to be successful in each of the exercises. The camaraderie and banter made the experience that much better, wish I would have done this sooner!

I took the confident rider course yesterday. Great course, great coaches. I live in Peoria, and it was worth the ride in the ran to Gilbert. Bill and Robert were great, they explained what I could change in my riding to make me better! If you don’t think a course like this is for you? Think about this, anyone can ride in a line. Can you get out of the way when you need to and keep the bike up? Do you make three trips around the gas station to get enough room to pull in? Can you turn your bike around without stopping and backing it up? And even if you are pretty good at close quarters riding, there is always room for improvement. Thanks TEAM Az.

I spent the last $380 I had on this class. And IT WAS WORTH EVERY DOLLAH. I used to "ride" with a scooter years ago and when I bought my first cruiser last week, I was so cool for about a minute with Judas Priest' Turbo Lover going in my earpods. Then I dumped it at the stop sign. So I went in to this course pretty nervous and worried about where my money just went and if riding was for me. Rest assured friend, TEAM with instructors like Sean and Beth are here for you. They worked with every member of our class, and taught the lessons needed to ensure that we have a foundation to grow on in our never ending riding adventure. It's pretty hard doing this from my phone I can't see the whole paragraph. The only thing I'd recommend is maybe a victory lap with everyone at a safe distance from each other. So in conclusion, totally worth the money. Just do it and help make the streets safer.

What a great way to learn to ride! Inside classroom material was relevant, interesting and fun. Didn't feel like highschool. The practical coaching on the bike was fun and safe. I have zero motorcycle or scooter experience at all. Going to this class was my first time riding a motorcycle. I have already bought a maxi scooter but wanted to learn a motorcycle in case I wanted to upgrade in the future. So took the in classroom with Eli and the outside class part with Joe. Joe was very patient with me being a novice rider. I passed the riding and written first try with only 2 days of experience and could not have done it without these two guys. I was apprehensive about this class. Often “beginning” level is a refresher course, and the true beginners are pushed to the sideline. Coach Sean demonstrated professionalism and was able individually differentiate instruction. My confidence grew, I felt I belonged, and I CAN RIDE A MOTORCYCLE!

Amazing time at Team Arizona in Gilbert. Had Jim and James as instructors. Both are eager and willing to share with you a wealth of knowledge, pay attention and you’ll learn a lot even if you think you know it all already. My favorite part was the friction zone, learning how to creep your bike. Second favorite was their critique of speed/breaking distance, they stressed it more than anything and it is probably the #1 lesson that will save your life. If you take the course I’d recommend these two fellas. Jim sounds like Casey Kasem (Shaggy from Scooby-Doo) and is a riot, he’s also a badass rider. Both guys are fun and have a sense of humor while simultaneously being all business. “Your safety is your responsibility, nobody else cares.” That is a quote that will stick with me forever, thanks for that James. Great experience with Basic Rider Course. Knowledgeable instructors and good pace. I never rode a motorcycle and was feeling very confident on day 2. Passed the riding and written test. Great experience. Bikes are 125-250 cc cruisers, sport bikes, and dirt bikes. Easy to control for new riders and get your confidence up. Instructors are experienced and very patient with helping the new riders out with tips and suggestions. A lot of great information both on the course and in the classroom.

A good place for beginner riders as they let us practice a lot of exercises at a palatable pace. They offer a handful of courses for experienced riders too, which lets us practice useful skills in a controlled environment. Both the riding coaching and classroom coaching were informative and fun.

Our coaches Sean & Andy were incredibly helpful in teaching us the fundamentals of riding. They included safety tips from their own experience being patrol officers as well as their own riding experience. Sean went out of his way multiple times to ensure the entire class was up to speed, and knowledgeable on necessary aspects of riding. Sean & Andy even challenged the more experienced riders to explore more/different techniques to gain the most out of the course. I highly recommend this course at the East Valley Training Center for it's focus on safety, efficacy, and overall fun! Now every time I am behind the wheel of my car I replay the safety tips taught by Sean and Andy - Presentation and speed were some of the biggest takeaways. They drilled that into us with fervor!

I took this course 15 years ago and received my endorsement but never did anything with it. I recently purchased a motorcycle for myself and tried refreshing my riding skills on my own in the parking lot near my home but was still super unsure of myself. So, I signed up to take the course again at Team Arizona. The instructors were so patient and helpful through the entire course. And I left feeling pretty confident. It was amazing. Honestly, I was hesitant to go and was really only there because learning to ride a motorcycle was my husbands bucket list item. I took the 3 wheel motorcycle class which Sean taught and it was a great class. I was the only person in the class who had never driven a motorcycle or a 3 wheel MC before so I was a bit nervous, but Sean was very personable and worked with all the students so we knew what we were each doing wrong. The class consisted of classroom work as we had to pass a written test, and Sean made the class very interesting. It was fast paced so didn’t get boring. Then there was the driving portion which was very fun. There was a brief driving test at the end. I would without hesitation recommend this class to anyone looking to get their 3W endorsement! I had the privilege of taking the basic rider course at this location. The classroom instruction by James and on range instruction by Andy and Keith were really good. I truly appreciate their dedication. Our class had many folks who had never tried riding a motorcycle. By the end of the two day class not only did they comfortably do stuff like figure 8, swerving etc… they also passed their requirement and got the documents for the endorsement. I highly recommend attending this course if you are looking to get a motorcycle license soon.

I just completed the basic ridercourse today and it was an awesome experience. My instructors were Sean and Robert and they were both awesome. The delivery of their coaching tips was great, instead of a "you need to be doing it like this" it was "try it like this". For me that made it feel more genuinely helpful rather than like you are being talked down to. I had some previous riding experience and they recognized that right away and gave me tips to improve and also challenged me a little bit. The classroom portion was a little bit slow in the beginning, but it eventually taught me things I likely wouldn't have considered otherwise. This was a great program for me to work towards getting my endorsement and I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking to do the same or even just to see if riding a motorcycle is something you'd like to do.

My field instructors ( Ash & Patrick, and classroom instructor, I’m sorry I forgot your name” ) Were so informative, patient, and encouraging. They not only teach you the necessary skills of motorcycle riding, but most importantly they instill in your brain that “this is no joke!” Riding is serious, one mistake can cause you severe injuries or worse, your life!!! And believe me when I say this. They never want to come across YOUR NAME I’m the obituaries. I didn’t have much experience riding a motorcycle, but as of today (06/05/2022) I now have the necessary knowledge and skills to embark on riding, making my dream of riding a motorcycle a reality, with confidence, knowing I have structural training, to get out there and enjoy. My husband and I took their 2-day Basic Rider Course. We were SO impressed with the class and staff. Classroom - Sean K was our instructor for this portion. He was fantastic. He's a former motorcycle cop, so his real world experience was helpful in setting expectations for the new motorcyclists. He was professional, personable, and did a great job of trying to include everyone without forcing you to speak (I mean, who likes that?). We had 32 people in our class, which initially seemed like a lot but Sean handled us like a pro and the size of the class didn't get out of hand. Classroom is 3 hours each day (with a couple of breaks). Honestly, that three hours flew by with Sean. Range time - Our instructors were Joe and Ally (and Seanna, who was in training). When you sign up, they ask for your height and if you have any experience and then when you get out there they do a good job of matching you with a bike that you can handle (honestly, this was my biggest fear - getting one of those GIGANTIC cruisers). I got a Honda Rebel, which suited me perfectly. The bike experience portion was laid out absolutely perfectly, you aren't expected to hop on and hit the throttle - you're taken slowly through the process, starting with just kind of wheeling back and forth to get a feel for it (which really helped me realize that the bike was the perfect fit for me). They made sure that everyone 'got' each exercise before moving on to the next one. Both days were 5 hours on the range, with breaks. It was five LONG hours because you're working every bit of the time - either actually riding or intently listening to the next set of instructions. They made it fun, but I never for a minute felt it an unsafe kind of fun. We were exhausted at the end of both days (be sure to get a good night's sleep and drink lots of water, because there is a range test at the end of day two). While the classroom size was 32, our range class size was much smaller - they broke us into three groups (12, 12, 8). I felt like we had a lot of individual attention (they even wrote our names on the front of the bikes so that they could address us by name, which was cool). The bikes seemed well-maintained, no one seemed to have a problem with them, the staff even rides each before every class to make sure they're in perfect shape for us beginners! My husband is a former paramedic and I used to work in the insurance industry - we both highly recommend you at least take this kind of course before you get on a motorcycle (many insurance company's offer a discount for successful completion). Team Arizona has more learning opportunities beyond the Basic Course, too. After day one of the class we decided we'd be pursuing the next class in a few months, after we get some experience under our belts. Go online and book that class now! Thanks for reading my review.

I recently attended the Basic Rider Course with Tony and Sean at the Gilbert Facility. Excellent course! I have a lot of riding experience but went to the class with an open mind and hoping to learn. I did just that and I had a great time. My instructors were very passionate about what they do, they are encouraging and the way they go about the process helps builds confidence for new and old riders. It was a great experience and I will definitely be attending one of Team Arizona's more advanced classes in the future.

I took the beginner course cause I needed my endorsement as I already ride. If you’re in the same boat I would still recommend it however I’d say be patient. It’s mostly people that have never even sat on a bike before. James was great! Enthusiastic, encouraging, and helpful. Too everyone of all levels! He could use a haircut but don’t worry Tyler the assistant range coach has a mustache you’d have to pay to see!!!! Inside joke. He was amazing as well!!! I plan on going back with my bike to learn more as these guys are pretty badass on bikes and I found out quite quickly that I am not! Can’t wait to go back! Side note. Just passed course today! My riding coach was Matty and Curtis, I have to say: they are the best coach partner!!!Matty has a good sense of humor, make me feel less stress. Curtis has a poke face, but he really watch what you doing and will give you best suggestion. I took the basic rider course with Bill S and Robert V.D, both were incredible coaches and helped me understand the core fundamentals of motorcycle riding and how to stay safe. Just completed the Basic Rider Course with James and Curtis over the weekend and have to say that it was absolutely one of the best well-structured courses I've ever taken, regardless of the fact that it's for people like myself who have literally never been on a motorcycle. Both instructors were more than helpful, professional, and cared that everyone in the class had everything that we needed in order to succeed. Day 1 in the classroom was packed full of knowledge while day 2 and 3 were full of sun, sweating, riding, and learning. Most of the course was done hands-on with the provided motorcycles, and the only time we were off them was when we were getting taught the next steps for the practice course we were about to take. Out of the 10hrs for the practical training I'm going to say probably ~7 of them were actually riding, and with a class of 9 people. Excellent beginner course and highly recommend this place, just as it was recommended to me from a friend and long time rider. Great work guys, stay safe out there!

Where to begin. I participated in this weekends BRC class 3/26-3/27 with Joe and Keith as my range coaches and John for classroom. Keith is a stand up guy, very personable and easy to talk to. He is very attentive and coaches extremely well. Joe was awesome and very funny, I’m pretty sure he’s my spirit animal. Both Joe and Keith kept the class fun and entertaining and really helped build confidence in the entire class. When mistakes were made they didn’t make you feel bad but built you up for the next pass. It was and awesome atmosphere to learn in. John, even though he was a north sider, taught the classroom portion well. As we all know classrooms can be boring and after a few hours in the sun last thing you want to do is sit in a boring class. Thankfully this was not the case. John kept the class fun and interesting and used real world examples. All in all you guys have a great team over there in Gilbert and I will recommend the BRC to friends and family. PS That black Suzuki is a solid bike. It held up well during class even though I looked like a bear on a tricycle.

I signed up for their BRC to obtain my endorsement and "hopefully" walk (or rather, ride!) away with confidence in the training I'd received. I am especially ambitious to become a skilled rider, so it was imperative to me that I begin with a good foundation. I studied extensively before taking this course, so I was very well read into basic skills and slow speed skills by the time I arrived. I honestly expected to have far more trouble... Thanks to my couches Sean, Ashley, and Keith I know I've been set on the right path. let it be a testament to their program, as I am a clumsy little computer geek and had not once mounted a motorized bike in my 38 years. Not only were these endearing gentlemen professional and helpful, but they're patient and encouraging. I'd be delighted to ride with them sometime. If you're considering obtaining your endorsement, I implore you to take a basic riding course. It is well worthy of the fee as you have a staff of fine coaches who provide ample resources to kickstart your adventures safely and enjoyably. The fee also covers your bike, equipment, and even your assessment. This is all to help you begin building critical foundational skills even some experienced riders lack. I can appreciate the anxiety many new riders may share with me. Since there are so many bikes on the range, you will have limited repetitions for each exercise. If you're ADHD and uncoordinated like me, it can be frustrating to seemingly perform each exercise a handful of times whilst several precious hours are wasted sitting on your butt in a classroom studying a book. Don't sweat it! These guys know what they're doing. If you're supplying the effort to succeed in this course, you "will" be ready for your assessment. Relax, trust the couches and have fun, brother. happy ridin'.

I have returned to riding a motorcycle after being away for over 10 years. I went back and forth on taking the Basic Rider Course, but decided to go ahead and enroll. I am SO GLAD that I did. The class was a great experience and I was able to awaken some dormant skills as well as learn many new skills. I am a much more confident rider and that is definitely worth the investment in time and money. The Rider Coaches were excellent and adapted their instruction to each rider's skill level. There were about a dozen other riders taking the course but it always felt like a very individual course based on what I needed to work on. I highly recommend this course to people who have never been on a motorcycle all the way to experienced rider who may have been away for some years. I'd also bet there are many current riders who maybe haven't taken a rider skills course who would benefit greatly from this class. Excellent experience! Rider Coaches Bill and Eli were fantastic. Knowledgeable, calm, patient, confidence inspiring and dedicated to improving each rider based on where they were at that moment.

I recently attended the beginner riding course and had a blast! I was a little nervous going in because I didn’t have much experience on a motorcycle (just scooters), but the instructors (Mike, Tony, and Sean) were very competent and encouraging and made it fun. Today, I completed the Advanced Riding Techniques class, presented by Jim and Bill. Having over 30 years of riding experience DID NOT keep me from learning some interesting and valuable new skills. I have now owned 4 different motorcycles with Antilock Brakes from 3 different manufacturers and today was the first time I experienced ABS activation in the front brake, in a safe and controlled manner. What an eye-opener!!! We spent A LOT of time on body positioning to assist with cornering; it didn't take long to recognize my old habits and improve upon them using the new techniques. Thanks to Bill for helping me to recognize when I was applying the new stuff properly. DO NOT come into this class thinking you are too old or too good; you WILL benefit!!

Doesn't matter if you've been riding for a lot of years or if you've never ridden before, this class is great. I've been riding for about 17 years, and until I did this course I can honestly say that I never practiced certain maneuvers, especially slow speed precise turning. It was a great chance to get those skills sharpened and have an opportunity to check the ego at the door and just practice/ learn to be a better rider. If you're on the fence about doing the Rider Course just go for it. Even though it was 113 outside and I have been riding for half my life, I still had a blast doing it. Better insurance rates are an added bonus, but the best thing was breaking up the complacency mindset I had gotten into over the years.

I attended the class at Buddy Stubbs HD this past weekend. Instructors were Frank Caruso and LIsa Riggiero. Both Instructors were very informative and very knowledgeable. The class was fun and worth every penny invested. Most of us in class had zero experience on a motorcycle and we all learned and gained motorcycle knowledge all thanks to the instructors. Everyone who tested the Road course and Written all passed confidently cause the lessons we trained helped us gain that confidence. I took the basic rider course back in July and can't say enough how beneficial it was. I enrolled in the course to obtain my motorcycle endorsement for my drivers license but gained much more. It not only gives you in depth training on how to properly operate a motorcycle technically, but also teaches you how do so in a way that keeps you safe while riding. My class instructor was Gordon who was charismatic, funny, positive, knowledgeable, & made the classroom portion fun by engaging in group discussions & answering all questions with a lot of personal experience. The staff had great camaraderie which resulted in a lot of laughs for the group, you could tell these guys truly care about each other. I went into the class with a "I can't wait to get this over with" mentality however I truly had so much fun to the point where I cannot wait to gain more experience & sign up for more advanced courses in the future. I took the Basic Riding course in 2016. It was a great course and after some individual time with Coach Jim, I got my license! I’m 55 and never once felt out of my element. Everyone was kind and patient. I have put on 15K miles since. I have also taken every skills practice course over these couple years and I have so much more confidence in my riding abilities. Hoping to take the next course in my training with TEAM. Great experience with all the coaches I have worked with. Don’t put it off any longer, go get that license or get better at what you already know!!

I took the Basic Rider Course about a year ago. It was my first time on a bike with the handle bars in my hands and the instructors made me feel calm and in control through the entire duration of the class. All of the instructors had years, if not decades, of experience and shared first-hand accounts of when their training had helped them get out of a scary situation at least once, so that was reassuring. The classes are very well organized and at the end of it, I felt confident about taking my test to get my license. Oh yeah, I passed and I'm looking forward to returning to TEAM Arizona for the Advanced Rider Course.

5 stars all the way! This was a fantastic experience!! We had Kaysen and Ashley as our instructors. They were very thorough explaining everything and by the end of the course teach you the BASIC skills necessary to get on a ride a motorcycle. They have very useful drills and practices that will absolutely come in handy on the road!! I thought this class was going to be boring but it was quite the opposite!! The only negative reviews from this place are people that don’t know how to read instructions for the PROPER GEAR to bring with them!! I feel more comfortable on a motorcycle after this course and am ready to hit the road!!

Having recently completed the Confident Rider Course I can say without hesitation that all motorcycle riders - regardless of experience - will want to (read SHOULD) take the Confident Rider Course; which is the follow on to the Basic Rider Course. The instructors (Rider Coaches) are awesome at explaining each drill and then demonstrating it before we all went out and tried it. The only bummer on each drill for me was when it ended! I just wanted to keep going and fine tuning my newly learned technique at each pass! There were 10 of us in the class with a variety of bikes from big touring bikes to smaller displacement street bikes and every drill was very doable for all bikes there. I have been riding for many years and always want to improve, so I read books and watch YouTube videos and then I would go try and practice on the streets. This is not the best idea and progress was slow. But just during this half-day class I learned so many more valuable riding techniques that I wish I had taken this class much sooner! Plus, practicing in a controlled environment and not public roads takes a huge amount of stress out my life. You may have no problem flying down the highway but get very tense when things slow down - like easing into the parking lot and weaving around other bikes at your favorite "hideaway". Take this class and you will maneuver your bike with relaxed confidence. You will learn to truly control your bike, so it no longer controls you. And you will not you freak out when something unexpected happens either. You will just react, solve the problem while keeping both wheels on the pavement. I will be taking the Advanced Riding Course soon and fully expect to learn even more!

Wow! Had such a fun couple of days this weekend taking my Basic Ridercourse with these guys. I rarely write positive reviews, but the guys n girls here at TEAM Arizona truly deserve a huge pat on the back. The instructors were some of the best / friendly people you'll ever meet. I went from a novice rider, who had only ever ridden quads - to being confident to ride my own bike, in 15 hours of written & riding based training over 2 days. The best redemption I could ahve asked for. My first attempt at this MSF course, out near a Harly Davidson dealer, was not good. I had poor coaches, a bike that I did not fit in, and I took away less knowledge than I came in with. After failing the first attempt I decided to give them a second chance. The amazing manager of TEAM Arizona convinced me to come to this location and take a private lesson to work on what my weakness was. After getting some great coaching I was able to ride a motorcycle for the first time. I loved it, and took the class again. This second class was amazing. It was fun, it was filled with knowledge, and it had the best coaches. My whole class, who made it to the exam, passed the exam. We were the endorsed and sent our way to learn more. I will be attending more classes and I will be getting more skills. I will also highly recommend this class here at TEAM Arizona MSF Gilbert location.

This is a great place to learn the fundamentals about riding! The instructors we had were Andy and kaysen and were both great! My wife wanted a bit of extra time to get things down so took a 2 hour private course with an instructor named Bill Seltzer and he went out of his way to make sure my wife had the help she needed to be successful! Even went about an hour and a half over the two hours and she wasn't rushed, and was even told not to worry about it, and instead to leave a positive review to tell others! In short, my wife walked away with her motorcycle license. I would highly recommend this place for sure! Thanks guys! Thanks Bill!

I didn't think that you could learn how to ride a motorcycle in such a short time. The instructors were amazing and well organized. I had a class of about 12 people and somehow they managed to give each of us special feedback and take time to learn our individual strengths and weaknesses. At the end of the course we were all a bunch of confident riders, the hesitation and nervousness most of us had in the beginning was gone. They encouraged us to speed up and trust the bike. My group had three instructors, Erick, Paul, and Kim. They were amazing and you will be super lucky to get them. They kept the course fun while also stressing safety. If a 5'0ft tall little lady like myself could pass, so can you!

The trainers here are truly fantastic. They are patient, encouraging are able to provide feedback. When you make a mistake they explain what happened and how to correct it to ensure you are learning. Andrew and Keeyson (forgive me if I spelt that wrong) we’re great. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to learn to ride or to help build confidence. I know I am utilizing them to gain more confidence with some extra training and have encourage my daughter and son to sign up soon for these classes. I've taken Advanced Rider Techniques, Total Control 1 and 2, and Sunday was my first Track Day after taking their class. They demystified the entire experience, set us up for success, and the individualized coaching was fantastic. Not too much information is thrown at you, one bite at a time, we all dramatically improved our riding. From Vision, to Body Position, to Entry speed, Turning points, Apex and the Exit - we covered the most important things to be safer, faster, more stable, in control, and PREDICTABLE! I took the Basic Rider Course in July. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about handling my motorcycle and, more importantly, about how to stay safe. I enjoyed the course. The instructors were very patient and encouraging. Lots of tips: Slow speed maneuvering, U-Turns, hard stops, swerving to avoid hazards, setting up for cornering and completing a corner. Keeping your eyes up, looking where you want to go. After a few weeks of riding, applying this new knowledge, I was much more confident. I then took two Skills Practice Series courses. Low Speed Maneuvering and Hazard Avoidance. The instructors continuously pointed out where I could improve and what a difference. Next I will do braking. I recommend TEAM Arizona to anyone.

Great way to learn how to ride and get your endorsement. Fantastic instructors, large variety of bikes to choose from as well. I was surprised at how new they were! Fair warning, after you pick that's your bike until the class is done, no switching. (im guessing if you really needed to switch they'd let you, but you can't try a bunch for the sake of trying) One note, BRING GLOVES. the gloves they provide are like wool mittens. you will not have a good grip, or good feel for the controls. buy a pair of cheap motorcycle or mechanics gloves, anything that's not too thick and aids grip, and riding will be much easier. After that it's 90% confidence.

I recently took the Confident Rider course from Team Arizona at there Gilbert location, and I highly recommend it. The teachers were knowledgeable, and the overall experience was exceptional. I have been riding for almost 5 years, both on road and off road, so I was concerned that the exercises would be too easy and boring, but that definitely was not the case. It doesn't matter if you've been riding for months or 50+ years (as someone in our group had been), the technical, slow speed maneuvers practiced in the course will still challenge you in a safe and controlled environment. If you are even kind of thinking about it, just do it. It will make you a better rider. The other key benefit you will get is a discount on your insurance for most providers. I use Geico, and got a $165 off my annual premium. Since the course only costed $139, that means that it will already pay for itself in just one year of saving, not to mention the savings from hopefully a lifetime of riding ahead. These classes should really be viewed as investments!

Like: Instructors were awesome, they had their own course, everything was clean and maintained, I was able to use their motorcycle to train on, and I got my endorsement. I took the basic rider course a few weeks ago and have to say how pleased I am with the information I received. A friend recommended them, and wife demanded I take a class. I was humbled with how much I didn't know and how well it was taught. I recommend this class and their training be mandatory to anyone who wants to come home to their family after a ride. The information I learned was extremely helpful and valuable. I'm going back for more of the advanced training too for my recent sport bike purchase. I thought I knew quite a bit about how to ride a motorcycle because for several years every summer I rode dirt bikes on summer break. This class was an eye opener, and a I can't recommend it enough.

I was initially really nervous about taking this class; one because I was the only girl in the class and because I am a little petite girl. But once class got started all my worries were quickly erased! The instructor was wonderful,thorough, and patient. I was so excited to get out on that course and start the motorcycle! Once on the motorcycle both instructors made sure any questions, worries, and concerns were address and answered. They spend the necessary with each individual and give important feedback. Once I get a motorcycle I am definitely going in to take the course to get practice one on one time with my motorcycle. I started off by taking the Intro course in January as a gift from a family member that knew I was interested in getting my motorcycle endorsement. The instructor and facility were amazing. Decided to take this class after wanting to buy a bike to commute to school with. From the very beginning the instructors were incredibly nice and one of them even helped me find bikes within my price range and gave advice on which bikes to buy. Great classes for all levels - from stalling at stop lights to track days. If you aren't sure of your riding level, give them a call, and i highly recommend the one-on-one session. Bill was excellent at throttling the difficulty of the course so that I was always pushing myself. They'll let you take breaks when you need them, and you will need them, but you can push yourself till you're wonderfully sore if you want to. These guys are super responsive and professional. I called them about the training in the morning and got a call later that night verifying the time. These coaches are top notch. They walk the fine line of "This should be fun" and "Take this seriously". I felt the course and the test were much more applicable to real life situations than the MVD one. I wish I would started with these guys 10 years ago. I fully plan on taking the whole series.

I just took the MSF Basic Rider Course this past weekend at the Gilbert headquarters. If you're new to motorcycling and/or looking to get your M endorsement, look no further. These are a great group of people and exceptional ride instructors. I had never been on a motorcycle before and by the end of the second day I was confident on basic maneuvers and handling on a motorcycle. There are numerous on the bike exercises that you incrementally build upon over two days of instruction. Rider coaches give excellent feedback after every exercise to help ensure you ride the best you can. The course is invaluable.

I needed to suddenly learn how to ride a motorcycle on account of my car dying, and still needing to make the 10 mile drive to work. I was able to slip into a class in Gilbert, and over the course of the three short days, I went from 0 knowledge to feeling reasonably safe driving home to Tucson. The pacing of the course was fantastic, neither overwhelming nor too slow to the point of being boring. The instructors have a real and palpable love of riding and it shows. I would strongly consider returning to TEAM Arizona for more advanced courses.

My boyfriend recommended Team AZ when I showed an interest to riding. Amazing place to train. My experience before Team AZ 1 ride on the back of my boyfriends DRZ. I took the Intro class on a Friday and then the basic that same Saturday and Sunday, I did this to have more bike time to build my confidence. I was pretty sure I wanted to ride but not positive I was going to keep riding due to fear but I wanted to give it a try. The step by step instruction was great they work with you and give you a lot of repetitive lessons so it stays with you long after the weekend on the course with their eye's watching. It's like they go onto the road's with you! "Head up" "Look into your turn" "Breathe" "Squeeze your legs" and so much more! They also teach you about watching for signs of cars going to move without signaling, how to safely stop, u turns, and even going over debris. It was a fun weekend with a nice variety of people there and the groups were small enough for a great learning environment. I have now been riding for 4 months and I love it! From freeways to rides around the neighborhood on my "Little Miss Ninja 500". Also my boyfriend was very pleased with my training as he watched me ride the first few times. He has been riding for many years but to break it all down to teach me would of taken longer then the 2.5 days I spent on the course with Team Az! I will be returning for more training soon!! Ride on and reach for your dreams!

I purchased my first motorcycle on May 16th, 2012 and managed to get myself proficient enough on it on my own within the first couple of weeks. However, everyone I talked to said I needed to take a rider course. I ended up taking the "Confident Rider Course" with TEAM Arizona in Gilbert on June 9th, 2012 and couldn't be happier. I was already familiar with my bike, starting/stopping, etc. so I was real happy to find a course for those who have some familiarity with motorcycles and want to get their license. My instructors were Sarah and Steve and they were awesome. Each maneuver was talked through and demonstrated so there was no confusion and both instructors offered advice to each rider during each exercise which was a big help rather than just giving us pointers at the end. This really helped me solidify my skills and helped me become a much more confident rider. I now have my motorcycle endorsement and saved a couple of bucks off of my insurance. All in all, probably the best $100 I've ever spent. Thanks to TEAM AZ.

The professionalism of everyone who works at TEAM is unbelievable! I had a customer service issue and I worked with Craig. He followed up when he said he would and resolved my situation with ease. If you are in need of a motorcycle training class STOP and look no further. The staff and instructors are passionate about the work they do and they will treat you right! I took the Basic Rider Course from Team Arizona so that I could dip by toe into motorcycling with some professional training. And professionals they were! The organization of the class is well-aligned to the season so that you can reduce the amount of time under the sun and still maximize riding time. I was amazed at how I could go from no experience to riding around a small course in a day. Bill was a highly skilled instructor and knows what to reinforce to make you a better rider and we all felt safe in his hands. The classroom segments from Ryan were educational, and engaging.The group could go off on small tangents about motorcycle safety & skill and Ryan would answer in a way that reinforced MSF curriculum. My only criticisms are with this curriculum. The slideshow could use updating to include more visual examples of concepts introduced in the book, preferably animated or video ones which can show ideas that are difficult to explain with words alone. However, I understand that MSF curriculum must be followed for compliance, and Team Arizona did a great job with what they had. If you are riding or considering riding, and you have never had professional training, get signed up for a class. I had quite a few people in my cohort that had been riding for decades and learned a ton at this "basic" class.

Whether you've been on a bike or not TEAM AZ is the place to get a great intro to motorcycles. There's even advanced courses for those who think they got the skills already. I was somewhat intimidated since I had never really riden at all but staff and coaches are just great. The coaches do a really good job of letting you know what skills you need to work on and it feels almost like one on one even in a class of 20. I got my pernit back in May of this year and have been saving to buy a bike so I can get on the road. I definitely will be back to make sure to keep my skills up and keep on riding!

I have to say that my Basic Rider Course experience at Team Arizona blew me away. Going into the course I was a bit skeptical of the value and impact it would have on my confidence to ride as a new rider. Upon arriving to class and getting into the material with our rider coach, those concerns quickly disappeared. We were immediately put at ease and excited for the days. We learned a ton of practical real world skills and maneuvers to keep us safe and have fun on the bikes. The course has been distilled down to the skills you need to stay alive and enjoy the road every day. There wasn't a ton of theory that doesn't apply to real life, but rather useful information on everything from cornering to stopping effectively, to panic maneuvers. Now being a few weeks out of the class and riding in the real world both in the US and Mexico, I can honestly say I use what i learned every day. I can't recommend this course high enough and the group at Team Arizona. Do it!

I took the basic rider course. I've been riding since I was 8 and never had a motorcycle endorsement (35 now) I figured I'd be only a technical requirement to get my license. BUT I was surprised that I actually learned so much from just the basic 3 day rider course. I took my class begging of September in gilbert at rhe training center and it was HOT but the instructors are cool and let u rest n hydrate and keep u safe. I got my new Bike on October for my Birthday, and I am riding with more knowledge and confidence than I ever have. I recommend this class to everyone. Regardless if you are experienced or a new bee, even passengers would benefit and learn from this. I will return for the advanced rider course in the near future. All in all, the price was good, the class's were beneficial and well with it. I went from never riding a motorcycle, (it only took three weeks from my first class) to having a motor cycle endorsement and having my own bike! And attending the confident riders class. my first class was at 5225 Buena School Blvd, Sierra Vista Arizona 85635 on Sunday 18 March 2012 at 7:30am it was a four hour introductory class. Loved it. It was beneficial to understanding the basic application of riding, it's a good way of knowing whether or not this is something you want to pursue. It also prepares you in more than one way for the next class you take, which is the test. Taking this four hour class really helped me pass my motorcycle endorsement the first time around. I received my motorcycle endorsement on the 6th April 2012 with T.E.A.M. Arizona Tucson Now at 7501 East on 22 nd street Tucson AZ 85710 it was a full two day class starting Thursday 5 th April and finished Friday 6 th April 2012. I took a confident riders course with T.E.A.M. Arizona in Sierra again at 5225 Buena School Blvd, Sierra Vista Arizona 85635 on Saturday 12 May 2012 at 7:30am. This was my third class with them. I rode my Harley-Davidson 2009 sportster . I received my card that will give me a discount with my insurance. How cool is that? So, do I recommend taking any of the class's I would have to say yes. It's peace of mind, being safe is my number one objective! The first five months of riding is the most critical time, as that's the time most accidents are more than likely to happen. Furthermore, I am looking forward to taking my advanced Class, there are two of them.

I wanted to get my endorsement after years of riding without one. I thought that this would be some lame drivers ed state mandated POS time and money suck. I was really wrong. I wish I would have done this years ago. The facility and practice ranges were great. The instructors were amazing. If you have been putting off getting legal... Basic riders course really prepares you for riding out in the real world. Nothing beats practice, and there is a fair amount of that included. Provided you have the funds, this will definitely improve your abilities. If you enjoy a sense of humor, try to get Greg M as you instructor.

I signed up for the "Advanced Rider Course" several years ago in Gilbert, showing up with my '08 Kawasaki Versys to find two others on the course, one on a Beemer, but I can't remember what the other fellow rode. At that point I had been riding 40 to 50 years, raced dirt (enduros) as well as run a "top-fuel" Triumph drag-bike in the mid-60s. We started w/ classroom lectures, then outside to do "figure 8s", circles, and braking-lessons. The instructor rode around in a circle w/ his "knee-puck" constantly dragging, just to show us it COULD be done, then we were instructed to ride on the 'balls' of our feet, NOT flat-footed on the 'pegs. When my left foot 'dragged' on the ground (startling the heck out of me!), the lesson sank in, and I've ridden on the 'balls' of my feet ever since. The instruction in the classroom led directly into the outside riding-instruction, so by the time the 'day' was over I feel I was a far better technical rider even though I NEVER 'dragged' a knee (but I DID drag foot-peg feelers several times in the following months). HIGHLY recommended if you're an experienced rider!

The most recent TEAM AZ class was the CRC on April 1, 2012, yes it was April fools. I would have been foolish not to take it. It was better than the last 3 CRC's (it was called Experienced Riders Course then). But let me say, the first TEAM AZ course I attended was Oct. 1995 and since then the courses and instructors have gotten better and I'll keep going back as long as I'm on 2 wheels.
