Great place 10/10. I went in and I got my permit super easily. The class makes driving easy to understand. I got my drivers license after I passed the driving evaluation exam. I was a bit nervous at first but over time I got comfortable and managed to learn how to drive properly. Great place to bring anybody who doesn’t have to motivation or time to learn on their own!

They’re efficient, excellent with direction, and extremely patient with students. You can be clueless about cars and still drive safer than people who’ve been on the road for 30+ years. Greatest driving school around. Had to clear a ticket, and this was the best place to do it. Learned some new laws in AZ, and received clarity on things I forgot. Would hopefully not have to come back, but this place would be the best option!

Jacob’s Driving School is one of a kind. Our second child just finished their driving instruction and passed. We used this program a year ago for our daughter and wouldn’t have chosen to go anywhere else when it was our son’s turn. Instructor Stan is such a great teacher. He’s patient, sensitive and ensures his students get the utmost from his teaching. If we had a 3rd child that needed instruction, we’d 100% go back to Jacob’s Driving School.

Stan is the man! He is a very calm and communicative driving instructor. When he drives with you, you will feel safe, and also very well informed. Every moment is a lesson, whether you are on the freeway, it’s raining, or there are crazy people on the road. Our instructor went over every topic that you could possibly think of and carefully explained a lot of do’s and don’ts when it comes to Arizona driving. Although you should never bargain shop for childcare or driving school I did and I am pleasantly surprised that Jacob was the least expensive in town. Just finished my fourth lesson with Dawn. This school has much more to offer then others! She went above and beyond her job description in order for me to learn how to drive. We looked at videos, she showed me diagrams, and walked me around the parking lot so I would understand parallel parking. Stan and Jacob also were very understanding in my schedule in order to have the best solution for my drivers education experience! Thank you so much for all your help!!!

When I drove with my Mom once, months before coming to Jacob’s, I couldn’t even turn properly— I was so nervous! The first day driving with my instructor, though, we learned turns in like 30 minutes and then we were on a main road. We went in residential areas, too. On the second day, we went on the highway and the day after we went to the airport (specifically to practice on those spiraling things connected to the parking garage, which I didn’t do very well on at first). Then, we continued to practice turns and parking. By the way, three point turns aren’t as hard or complicated as they initially seem. We went to one of those expensive neighborhoods on the mountains, and we learned how to do steep uphill and downhill turns. Days following, we practiced and perfected everything that I had learned. Coming to Jacob’s greatly diminished any driving anxiety I had before. Now driving is fun because I actually know what I’m doing, thanks to these guys. I recently had my last lesson with them and we went on the airport spiraling things for a second time, and I did it without any instruction and with ease. It has been insane to see my own progress with driving over the span of such a short amount of time. If you’re going to go ANYWHERE to learn how to drive or receive more training, GO HERE.
