I am so grateful for Brown's Driving School. My daughter was 17 and not driving yet. I had been doing my best to teach her on my own, but knew she needed professional help and coaching. We signed her up for the 2 day Driver Education class, even though she already had her permit. I felt like going through the Driver Education classes plus the included 6 hours of driving would help her to get more confident and comfortable on the road. It did just that. My daughter now has a driver's license after only one month with Brown's!! If you are considering taking classes here for yourself or signing up your child, do it! The staff are kind and friendly, the driving coaches are professional and patient , and the classes were informative and insightful, my daughter said. Worth every penny!

Brown's is the way to go! They make the whole process easier and offer a parent meeting after the instructional days to help answer questions. Their drivers are the perfect instructors with previous professional driving experience. My son felt comfortable, safe and confident after his drives with the instructors. Brown’s Driving School gave my daughter an excellent foundation for learning to drive. The classroom time was low-stress and very informative. The one-on-one 2 hour drives were her favorite part, though! This is where she said she learned the most; with a knowledgeable instructor sitting beside her, guiding her. Highly recommend, I was a student here I just finished my courses and took my drivers license test. The teachers are great at explaining and the driver instructors are awesome. They made me feel comfortable and explained everything so well. I now feel comfortable with driving and I can be a safe on the roads. Two of my sons have completed Brown's Driving School's Driver's Ed. The instructors have kept my sons' interests in both the classroom and during their drives. As a parent, I appreciate the feedback I receive, within 24 hours, with details from each of their drives--what they did well, what they need to work on, etc. We live in Edmond, but the drive to the Mustang location is well worth it! And they've even met my son's part way in OKC for some of their drives. Any and all contact I've had w/ the instructors or with Paula (scheduler/Admin) have been extremely positive--they are all polite, welcoming, and extremely personable. Customer service is definitely one of many Brown's strong points! I'd recommend Brown's Driving School to anyone looking for a reliable, fun, welcoming, and professional driver's education.

My son really loved his experiences in the classes and during driving instruction!! He says, "The instructors all make you feel capable, smart, and respected. Plus they give you pizza and stuff." And you can't beat that kind of review from a 16 year old boy, let me tell you. Lol From a parent's perspective, their staff are friendly, lightning fast (considering the volume they work with), and really accommodating if you communicate with them ahead of time, and are nice to them too. ;) If you or your kiddos are nervous about this big step, this is the place to go to learn how to do things safely without the stress of a bad teacher. It's worth WELL MORE than what they charge.

Signed my boy up for classes, he studied and took permit test, and then we scheduled the three practice drives the same month he could take the driving test for his license and he passed!

I love browns, overall I think it's great for new drivers trying to learn and get their license, although, I recommend trying to use the same exact car or a different car that's exactly like it, same features, same mobility for pedals, everything, I figure most new drivers won't get a hang of a new car which pedals are more sensitive or not, but besides that it would be a 5/5

I was a student at Browns Driving School in Midwest City and my experience with them was awesome! The 2 Instructors are very good and so professional. The Classroom Instructor is very good and so funny! I'm surprised the 10 hrs (5 hrs each for 2 days) is finished coz I didnt noticed the time when he was teaching. And the Driving Practice Instructor, Lou, he was my instructor for the whole 3 sessions of my driving practice and he's amazing! I was so worried and nervous in my first day but he made me feel comfortable in the wheel. He's a very good instructor. He's clear on giving instructions, calm, encouraging, funny and very kind. I am very thankful and so happy that I enrolled at Browns. The staff are also helpful and accomodating. They also send an email about the driving instructions report the day after every drive and I think that's very nice, too. Thank you very much Browns Driving School for a fun and knowledgeable experience. I appreciate you all!

Brown’s driving school has been exceptional. We went here a few years ago with my other daughter as well. The class was great and the drives were great and very professional. I did not hesitate once entrusting my daughters with the drivers. We were late getting her drives in before her license due to activities going on but when we needed them they told me to just let them handle it and they would make sure she was completely taken care of. They called very quickly and had all three drives booked for her. I can’t say enough!

Even though it costs, it is definitely the road to have your child get their driver's education from. They have the coarse and then you do the test drives. For an additional amount, they will even do the driver's test with a choice of a package to include a pre-drive.

We got the middle package and it was well worth the money. Our son hasn’t drove a lot and with everything they went over in class was easily transferred to the actual ‘hands on’ portion when he did start driving. All of his instructors were very helpful and addressed his issues with full transparency. Honest assessments were given with each drive and then they spoke with us about things we need to work on with him. Very impressed with the whole process from Browns. Would recommend for all new drivers. Worth it from start to finish!!!

Y’all, if you’ve been wondering “is going to driving school worth it?” Absolutely yes. Especially if you have anxiety about tests or driving. Even as an adult. To save you from the boring details. I’m the worst at tests. I got my permit, practiced driving everyday. Did my drives with them, and let me tell you, I passed on my first test with Browns. The instructors were extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable driving with them. They gave me plenty of tips and pointers and helped me work on things I needed more attention on. Highly recommend.

My daughter just completed the basic package with Brown's and we were completely satisfied with her training and the convenience provided by Brown's. Their scheduling was convenient and the instructors were wonderful. She gained much confidence through her instructed drives. She was able to schedule her license test immediately after her 3rd drive which was very convenient and efficient - saved us a lot of time and hassle. She passed her test on the first try with a good score. Everyone I ever talked to at Brown's was pleasant, courteous, and had wonderful attitudes - something that is harder and harder to find these days. I will definitely use them for my next kiddo.

Overall good learning experience for my son. Scheduling driving sessions with an instructor has been tough sometimes due to instructor shortages, but the quality of teaching and learning has been high quality throughout. I recommend Brown's Driving School.

Great drivers ed program. We bought the all inclusive package which given what all is included and how helpful they are, I feel it’s a great deal. They hold regular parent meetings for q&a and give a lot of great information. The instructors have all been nice and my son was comfortable doing his 3 drives. They give reports after the drives so we know what to work on before the next one. You can easily get in touch whether it’s by phone or fb messenger for questions. We just completed the 3rd drive today…my son has made great progress and the instructor as well as myself feel he is ready for his driving test next week. Highly recommend Browns for drivers Ed.

Let me state that my expirence has been throughout the last 10 months because it is extremely hard to get appointments especially if you work or have things like school. I went through the class even though I already had my permit, but okay that's fine. When I did my first drive back in August of last year the woman I had as a driving instructor was in my opinion a little crazy. I was told to follow less than a car length behind traffic, that I needed to speed up to be directly behind traffic and she would get angry with me when I did not. I was also scolded for slamming on my brakes due to a braking car that she had me speed up to get behind and if i started to brake to early in her opinion when approaching a red light. She also told me that as long as you were in a certain part of the lane where the solid white lines are when pulling up to the light you could go through the yellow and be just fine. Now fast forward 10 months and I got Craig for my driving instructor on drives 2 and 3. Craig was great, perfect 10/10 could not have asked for a better instructor. He corrected me when needed, but did not talk down to me or scold me when things didn't go right. He was a very friendly guy and made the expirence comfortable and enjoyable. He also told me that the information given to me by the previous instructor was wrong, which made me feel better because I didn't enjoy driving that way. I had also paid for the 1 hour prep before my driving test and I got Mark as that instructor, he was a great and friendly guy as well, he told me where I needed help and gave me tips and tricks for things like parallel parking, etc. Now when I went to take my test, I was so confident because Craig and Mark said that it was great and everything would be fine. The man who did my test,Kyle Brown. He was a friendly guy, but man was he tough when it came to taking the test. I do not blame and I am in no way mad at him for the score I got because I do realize that when you are testing for a license you are putting yourself and others in danger especially if you cannot drive properly. So as to where I was not happy internally with the score I received I am happy that I passed my test and got to get my license and I thank the instructors Craig and Mark who helped me.

Brown’s has been AMAZING to help my daughter get over her fear of driving. She first went to a driving school in Moore that was awful on communicating and it had so many other issues.The school name started with an “F” and I would give them an “F”. Browns has been a breath of fresh air, Craig has been the absolute BEST instructor to work with my daughter, he really was so patient and taught her so much that her confidence has really grown. I love getting the email reports after a drive to update me on how she did and what she needs to work on. My teen greatly appreciated the individual time and feedback he was provided with each of his drive sessions. Scheduling his drives was a bit challenging and we had to do one session at another location. While initially this was frustrating, it turned out to be very beneficial because our teen had to drive in a location he was not familiar with. We purchased the all inclusive package for my son. This included 10 hours of classroom time as well as 3, 2 hour drives. On the day of the test they completed a 1 hour prep drive to get him ready for the test. He has been driving with his permit for a while but was ready to get his license. He really enjoyed the class and was particularly fond of the instructors. They set him at ease and he easily passed the driving exam. This is a great program for any beginning student or for a student that may have had their permit for a while and is ready to hone their driving skills. I highly recommend Brown's if you are looking to get a new driver the training they need. We will definitely be taking advantage of the defensive driving course as well.

I was a student at Browns and they make you feel very comfortable at the wheel, I was scared at first driving but the instructor made it feel fine and he kept the drive entertaining by cracking jokes and made the drive feel like 10 minutes i felt very comfortable with the second drive and the third drive I had everything graded as good, one of the worst things to be while driving is scared and The 2 browns instructors i had were amazing at keeping me focused on the road and keeping me entertained Browns is amazing. Btw for in class instruction the also were amazing and it was very comfortable didn't seem as long as it was they kept me informed on stuff I'd see on the test and kept me entertained by telling personal stories that were funny and informative. Browns driving school has been a great experience for me and all my family, I have taken all three of my children plus one more. They have helped prepare my children for driving and learning not just to drive safe but to also drive smarter and help prevent accidents before they happen. This time around with my youngest child we had the opportunity to meet Savage, Austin's driving instructor. He was so great with Austin, He helped to calm his nerves and put him at ease and show him that he could not only drive but also be confident in his driving skills.

We had an incredible experience with Browns Driving School. It had its challenges with the need to reschedule a couple of drives due to caution from need to quarantine a few times but they were easy to work with. The instructors are the best part of this school. All three were super helpful and made our son feel at ease. We especially liked Clint! The classroom portion was virtual due to Covid but I feel just as effective. Only thing would be sometimes the voicemails and call backs came from different locations and that could be confusing when connecting with someone live but we always worked it out. Definitely recommend Browns!

Edit - Thank you Duane for taking the time to call and schedule the remainder of my daughter's drives. I do appreciate you scheduling her drives and the explanation of the ongoing situation. I don't understand why driving packages would be sold to parents when Brown's knows that they do not have enough instructors for drives. My daughter completed the driver's education course in August 2021, took her permit test and passed. It took from August to November 23nd for a driving spot to come open. I have been checking online daily to schedule her second drive and no drives available until March 2022. She is due to take her driving test in February but can't until she has 3 drives done. How how that is possible? I have called and ask to be told multiple times new drives will be added. Quit selling new packages until existing paid students have their drives fulfilled. If I had knew in advance Brown's operated as a battle royale for drive slots, I would have taken my business elsewhere.

My second driver just finished up with Browns. They are a top notch teaching school that cares about the students. They will pick up from home and return if you live in the area. They send you reports about how your child is doing. The instructors all spoke to us when they dropped our son off to give a report about what he needed to work on. My son said the drives weren’t boring or scary, as the instructors talk to them. The man testing today was so personable and did his best to make sure my son wasn’t nervous. I highly recommend this for anyone with a teenager. They can teach your young driver things you may not even know. It was 100% worth every penny!! Thanks Browns!!

Though the majority of the Brown's staff is helpful, some of the staff are rude and unprofessional. The receptionist was snarky and had a very short temper. Simple questions like "May I buy extra classes?" and "If testing is available on Saturdays?" provoked her to answer in rude and sudden outbursts as if she was frustrated I didn't know. Also, some of the instructors would get frustrated when a student didn't know some driving skills even though the student was there to learn said skills. Overall, customer service needs improvement.

A good place to learn about driving, but I have a complaint. My complaint is one of the driving instructors themselves. He was always on the break pedal, makes jokes about simple mistakes everyone makes, especially in a car with an elderly man you've never met before. It seems like his hand is always on the wheel too so when you're supposed to be practicing he is basically doing it for you. We went through all the drills in 34 minutes, I barely felt like I learned a thing about driving and what to do on the test. I would point out landmarks or the neighborhood I live in and he would always respond in a condescending tone. Like man, sorry for pointing out the neighborhood I live in just to make sure you know which one it is. He also said "The other kid went that way, but this way works too.", oh no really?! I wouldn't know i've just been living here for the past 8 years of my life. He also gave my mom the best directions to get to the school, so when we didn't take those directions this is what happened Instructor: "So what's the speed limit on this road?, Me: *Hasn't seen a sign telling me yet* "Uh I dont-", Instructor: "Of course you don't, because you were in the passengers seat looking at your phone instead of the road!". No man I wasn't, we didn't take your directions we went another way so I didn't see the speed limit since it was physically impossible to do so at that time. He also expects to be paid like a full time teacher if he were to substitute for 2 weeks due to a teacher getting covid, which is so dumb. Why would the school district pay someone full pay only for them to work 2 weeks? Could you even teach the class properly in that time? That is my complaint about browns driving school, a good faculty with a fault.

The lady at front desk is very unprofessional. She answers the phone with a very rude voice and never knows the answers to questions asked. I was put on hold for a long time just to request a female instructor. They mostly offer male instructor which is not the most comfortable for a young lady learning how to drive with an older strange man in a small car for 2 hours alone. The lesson are great but not the driving.

Brown's teaches you everything that is on the test and so much more. They take extremes to make sure you pass your test. When you go driving they are very flexible with your schedule they didn't have a time I needed so they made one just for me. When I drove they made me drive on the highway the second day. All the instructors I had were very nice and made sure I was okay. When you go to take your test have them take you. They practice with you and go over everything you need to do on the test. They take you there, you don't wait in line and they take you to the tag agency and home. I passed my test on my first attempt. I couldn't imagine a better school. And the cars you drive in are extremely nice, it's just another plus going through Browns. When my kids are older I wont take them anywhere else but here!!

I took the motorcycle basic course in 2015 in Oklahoma City and thought it was excellent. It was obvious the instructors were very well qualified and not only cared about making us better riders, but also furthering motorcycling as a whole. A few students didn't pass the exam at the end of the course, but the instructors even stayed behind on their own time to ensure they had another shot at passing. The course uses the nationally recognized Motorcycle Safety Foundation curriculum with relevant and helpful exercises. The motorcycles are all new and in good shape. I'd recommend this course and these instructors.

took a drivers ed class a while ago, and the first day went great! learned a lot and was pleased i was getting what we paid for. second day, our instructor decides what we need is a thirty minute (at the least) rant on why he personally believed legalizing marijuana was a terrible idea after talking about duis/dwis. i understand personal bias affects your work, but... not something that needs to be talked about, especially to a class of clearly apathetic 16 yr olds who just want to eat lunch. this was a while ago, so maybe its been fixed???

Browns personal at the Mustang location have been awesome. They give you advice after your child finishes the class and after each drive. They let you know what they did well on and what they need to work on. They are all very nice and honest about your child’s progression. My oldest did parent taught/online and my youngest went to browns. I wish I would have put my oldest through Browns.
