Graduated today 1/24/2023, passed on my first try also! Thats when you know this school is serious in teaching you all about how to operate a tractor trailer safely. It has been an exciting journey. The staff and instructors were incredible and knowledgeable throughout my experience. If you needed help, all you had to do was ask. 100% would recommend this truck driving school! I just want to thank all the staff. Incredible school.

I'm a graduated student, this has been an excellent school with thorough instruction and dedicated instructors. The goal of this program prioritizes teaching you how to be a good driver and what you need as a driver, this stands far above other schools that simply seek to push you through to testing without being fully prepared. I'm glad I dont have to go through this again but if I did this is the school I would choose again.

Great school, Great staff, Great program! If you are looking to get your CDL A or B this school is the place to go. I attended Interstate in March of 2015 to get my Class B license, and again this year to get my Class A license both experiences were excellent! I was only able to attend school part time due to work but the staff and scheduler (Fred) were extremely flexible with the schedule. They were able to get me in and out with a Class A license in three months. If you follow the program, and put in the work you will succeed. Thanks for helping me progress my career! This is THE BEST SCHOOL! I was able to achieve my class A license in a short period of time thanks to thier program. Interstate Truck Driving School had the best staff and teachers working with me to set me up for success. And because they have training facilities in Wisconsin I was able to test faster than I would have if I was testing in Minnesota. I came to this school not knowing anything about tractors or trailers but that changed quickly. They thought me everything I needed to know. All the staff there are great to work with and they want you to succeed. How fast you complete the program is up to you, I did it in 6 or 7 weeks.. 3 months ago I traveled from GA to MN, left my young family and ventured into the unknown. I was as green as they come, never been into any truck in my life. First day at the campus, after the campus tour we had backing evaluation, I couldn’t backup a truck straight, but as I write this review today, this school together with their professional instructor held my hand and walked with me to the point where not only am I able to backup a truck but able to drive on local streets, highway and the byways. I want to give a big shout out to A few instructors. ( Wayne you’ve a big heart I can never thank you enough) Scott in Hudson thank you, Tim and Drew Shu thank you guys for your sacrifice. Fred thank you for working with me on scheduling, you were very accommodative. Last but not least the amazing and wonderful front desk staff, lead by Mike, Josh, Clint you guys made it easy for me especially being away from from my family. And you had a warm welcome especially when it was very cold and Georgia was in my mind. Thanks for your investment in me and all the students in general, you guys are very special, amazingly you know everyone’s name that’s a gift. Mike next time am in town I bring you peaches. I had an amazing experience at Interstate truck driving school, the instructors know what they are doing and how to teach. They make sure you know the material and that you’re ready to test before allowing you to test for your CDL which gets you ready and makes it almost certain that you will pass either your first or if not then 2nd time. They have the correct tools to help you along the way as well as the proper trucks. Other schools do not have the full sized semi truck that this school does to practice and drive with. Overall a great experience and I’d recommend any other person seeking for a good school that will get you ready for your upcoming job and new career field!

Started with zero experience ever handling a large truck let alone a trailer, terrified of it all - ended with full confidence in my skills handling automatic and manual truck & trailer combinations with passing the first attempt on the license test. Everything is done at your pace, so you will advance through the curriculum and practice based on the amount of work you put in. The instructors will do a superb job of preparing you for the pre trip, backing, and driving sections of the exam. You get evaluated on each area to determine your readiness for the test. Overall, the school is an excellent place to learn how to drive trucks for your Class A license; its reputation as among the best trucking schools didn’t come without merit!

Both me and my girl went to this school to get our CDL I graduated at 20 years old she graduated at 21 years old, I would highly recommend recommend this school for younger youth 18+ trying to get there cdl, as the staff there was awesome and very friendly, all instructors are professional and the front desk staff will always give you a laugh, and schedule you for drives very quickly. This school will keep track of you and make sure if you need room for improvement they’ll give you more hours at no cost, it’s all a patience game with this staff/crew. Thanks again, Joseph -Big Joe

I made the right choice with Interstate Truck Driving School. I not only learned how to drive a tractor trailer but I learned about the truck driving business.The program is self-paced so I was able to progress through it rapidly. But, if you do need more time and more instruction you will receive all the guidance you need. One of the reasons I chose this school is there is no wait time to test. When they feel you are ready and you have met all the minimum federal training requirements you will test. The instructors prepared me well enough to confidently obtain my CLASS A CDL the first time! Forgot to leave a review when I finished, but this school means business! They aren't a CDL mill and they GRIND into you how important safety and the pretrip is, it's not an easy task. But the students coming out of here are much more prepared than other places. My only complaint is the simulator as shifting with it doesn't feel real at all, but they made a concession with me on that. I loved the school and would recommend them to anyone, if anyone will help you get your CDL it's these people. 100% professionals to the core.

I was fortunate to obtain my CDL through Interstate Truck Driving School. Hands down they have the best system to get your CDL as fast as possible. The front-end staff really makes you feel welcome and is eager to help you out. I was shocked when I came in after only a couple weeks of being there, and they knew me by name, and that's everyone. It might cost a little more but you get what you pay for. They also helped me line up a job with a reputable trucking company. That is going to pay me back for the tuition. He answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable and confident about choosing this school. My first week in was fun, and informative. I came into this truck driving school program with no background of trucking, and let alone knowing how to operate a truck/ semi that is. I completed the program in about six weeks of repetition/practicing and showing up to the school to study. There's nothing like hands on and actually seeing and practicing/pre trip on a real truck. I know you hear hard work will pay off, it's true but seriously you have to come into this program with a mind set of I can attitude. Tips from me to you study your pre trip like seriously pre-trip is everything and you will have to learn this let alone you need to know this material in everyday life of trucking. You need to memorize your pre trip to even operate a tractor trailer with any company regardless. So you guys/ gals are wondering was it worth it, the answer is yes every cent. This facility has wonderful instructors through out the place. Also, great people to help you soon as you walk in those doors Clint/or Josh are so funny and most of all everyone there wants to see you graduate with your CDL class A license. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience and learning that I gain, I'm so grateful 🙏🏽.

Interstate truck driving school has been one of my best decisions I’ve made. I did my homework , I checked several schools in Minnesota. Interstate stood out well above the rest! It is designed with your progression in mind. They are very organized and keep you moving forward to make it easy for you to learn. The curriculum is well designed as well as the lay out of the entire school . Great School Great Ownership Great Instructors Great Administrative Staff I Started with the Free 2-hour CDL permit class given by the Owner, it was also a very good introduction to the industry. Bill took the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this school over any other when considering a Professional Truck Driving Career The instructors have a wealth of experience and knowledge and are 100% interested in you becoming a good SAFE Professional Driver, listen to their advice! The administrative staff is right there for you, completely accessible and helpful I received full tuition reimbursement from a county workforce solution grant, I qualified as a 55-year adult changing careers. I met and became friends with other students that were very helpful when trying to master pre-trip inspections, testing and driving skills. Interstate has a strong complimentary culture of mutual respect, where everybody freely helps each other out, students and staff. It’s a fun, positive place to learn! I was offered a driving position three weeks prior to graduation, with other offers upon graduation. Just Do it! You won’t regret it

When I was looking for a good truck driving school I did a lot of research and I noticed that Interstate Truck Driving school had great feedback and reviews. So I decided to commute from St Cloud to attend and recieve my Class A CDL for manual transmission. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. The instructors are the best and Bill takes time with every class and the 1:1 time with instructors is the best. I highly recommend this school if you are considering a CDL. They bent over backwards for me to get me time slots to accomodate my commute and the extra time it took (becuase of MN DVS) to get my commercia permit. Many thanks to them. I have a great job already. When I took my skills test to get hired the great training I had helped immensely.

Interstate is by far one of the best schools that I think I could have gone to! The overall cost for what you get is outstanding! The preach the pre-trip and make it so easy to learn! I personally only went for the automatic class A then went and rented a manual and took it again (needed to do a completely new test) and the lady said that I got a perfect score on my pre-trip! And that is all because interstate gives you many platforms and opportunities to learn. And it is all done on your time! There is no time limit to be done. You could be there for an entire year if you need! I find it really awesome that the OWNER runs the classes! He is involved in your learning and cares about YOU and the company. This school is 100% recommended by me, and I’ll be recommending to my friends to come here too, because the school, and the staff are outstanding!!! Great place to be, keep it up guys!

I had a wonderful time at interstate truck driving school. The level of experience that each instructor had was beon expectations. Dick is a very good instructor and answers all questions, even if he does not have the answer he finds the answer and gets it back to you the next day. The office staff are very good at what they do. The only issues that I have had is that my schedule got a little screwed up. I understand that there is rules to follow with the VA, I wish that there was other ways that the VA can give the school more freedom with they're students.

This is the most professional school I have ever attended. The classroom portion is taught by highly experienced people from the industry that not only know their stuff but are interesting and very good teachers. It is well organized and top notch. When you complete your classroom training you are ready to take any test the State and Feds can throw at you and are as well educated about driving in a very professional way. The hands-on training is just as professional as the classroom portion. All done by experts who are student oriented. The cost of the school in relation to the career you are ready for is a great value. As I near the completion of my program, I figured I would do a review. The programs are well thought out, with proven methods that lead to a very high passing rate. The instructors are all friendly, very well trained, and very good at each area they specialize in. The equipment is all perfect for learning the profession. Bill, himself(the owner), is very enthusiastic about the success of each one of his students and takes their training very seriously! Would recommend to anyone looking to get a CDL. My time spent here was well worth it. I was extremely pleased with the effort made by the staff and instructors to help when and where ever possible. I never heard a single complaint from any student the entire time I was here. That is nearly impossible to achieve at any training institution. The training pace is relaxed and flexible. I was in the "Professional Tractor Trailer" course. They have prepared me to start a career in the "Big Rig" which is very exciting. Please check them out if you can. Let me start out by saying Interstate Truck Driving School was able to assist in me getting my CDL Class A on my first attempt. There is information I’d like to pass on before you make a several thousand dollar investment. I had to borrow money to pay my tuition. I paid a week before my “permit class” began. The front desk people were accommodating, and informative that day, and throughout the CDL journey. The first day of “permit class” Bill (the owner) told the class that the information of what to study was free on his website. Like much of the entire program, what you did with that information was up to you. The first day of actual class (you must have your permit to begin) I was informed that the majority of classes would be in Hudson Wi, which added 20 miles to my already 35 mile commute. HE DOES OFFER REIMBURSEMENT AT THIS TIME* The school itself was mostly online for the learning aspect of things. I spent roughly 100 hours online watching videos and taking quizzes. Still, learning the pre-trip is all up to you. Once you pass the online aspect you can take simulations and scaled down backing. I had experience on my own from driving a manual my whole life so this was a breeze. The simulations are also much more difficult than being behind the wheel. Due to high volumes of students everything at this point was scheduled a week, to two weeks at a time. The issue I had with driving was they put me in an automatic despite passing all simulations, and ALL of my backing took place in an automatic. You pay good money, you should get what you pay for. The instructors take notes, but I do not think they share or read what took place in previous lessons. They are also condescending and there is a correlation between attitude and time of day. If you get an instructor really in early in the day, things are great. If you get him at the end of the day, after several lessons, there is attitude and a holier than thou mentality. Interstate Truck Driving School provides the means to succeed. What you do with their resources is entirely up to you. Do not go there if you are expecting tutelage and classroom atmosphere. Do not go there if you are not self motivated, or have difficulty comprehending written information. Do not go there if you are not ready to kiss the butt of instructors. DO GO if you are motivated to get in, get out, and do whatever it takes to get your CDL. The front desk staff is beyond accommodating. They will go the extra mile for you always. Bill will make you feel welcome, and is an open door. My expectation of Interstate differed from the reality but ultimately they did what they promised to do. They got me my CDL in under two months, and on the first attempt.

Awesome school! Very interactive and helpful. No yelling and always someone to ask your question to. The access to the trucks was great too. The simulator was tough at first but you get the hang of it! The online training was good too. Fun videos and you felt like you were in a real classroom. Other than not being able to ask a question right then and there it was really interactive.

This school is great! I enrolled here using Post 9/11 benefits and was able to graduate within the VA required timeframe while still working part time. Being Military this school offered the great structure for both classroom, study, backing and driving time. I would also like to say that the instructors both classroom and driving were exceptional and set you up to succeed. Lastly, if you are looking for a 160 hour program to get into the Professional Truck Driving Industry I would look no further than the program here at ITDS.

Comfortable with every single instructor. Solo backing practice was my favorite. Classes are in the morning so I could work in the evening. Any training that wasn’t working for me was adjusted so it was perfect. I learned so much. The test drive I passed the first time. I knew everything on that truck! I watched videos, made flash cards, listened to audiobooks. My classmates shared test and driving info. I called 2 other schools, and I knew right away this School was the most experienced in working with students. Every part of being a safe driver is covered and practiced. My husband is a truck driver and I’m so glad he sent me to Interstate!

I had to live in a hotel while going to school so I was after it. Exhausted and nervous, I pushed through and now have my CDL to start driving with my husband. In 2 months I went from not even having a permit to having a Class A CDL. Every step was laid out in a natural progress and each step led into the next seamlessly. The staff is great to work with and I was made to feel like I was part of a family. Literally accepted a job on the same day I graduated. The staff at Interstate worked with me to accommodate the needs I had and were very accommodating for my on site work with my schedule due to the fact I was driving from a further distance to make it as efficient as possible. Good information but if you are a class b dont expect much help in placement. they save that for the class A guys. also be prepared to rent a truck if you fail either your pre trip or road test. I had to because it was another month wait to get an appt to retake my pre trip. So I rented a truck and was able to get in the next day at another exam station. good school but I wasnt 100% satisfied
