CDL - A - Manual Transmission After 6 years of driving non-cdl trucks, i decided to get my CDL. With no knowledge other than how to drive, Class A Leasing bridged the gap and enabled me to successfully complete and pass my CDL Exam. Best pricing in the area after the new regulations with some of best instructors. I choose School Plan 1, which is 3 days of schooling and 2 retests if needed. The 3 days was enough to allow me to pass 1st attempt! Studying at home also recommend. Special thanks to Instructor Tim! He was able to train me 2 of the 3 days and fine tuned my driving and pushed me to succeed! He is very direct and does not sugar coat! Also big thanks to Instructor Jack, who taught me how to pass the backing portion of the exam which was one of my big weaknesses!

I worked with several different instructors while I was there and they were all absolutely amazing! One instructor puts videos on line that are very useful while studying and practicing at home. Everyone was extremely professional, all the instructors were very nice, helpful, knowledgeable and would answer questions no problem. Wasnt worried about the driving part of getting my CDL but more worried about the Pre Trip. They did a fantastic job showing you how the pre trip is done and how the test will go so there is no surprises on test day. I past my Pre Trip with flying colors and ended up having to go back because I failed my road test. Was so worried about my pre trip I was going as fast I could to get it in the 45 min time as I closed the hood of the truck only to latch the driver side and not the passenger. Went again a week later and passed no problem. Definitely worth it!

Class A leasing is a reasonable outfit if you are looking to get your CDL fast, and you actually know the truck parts. Don't sign up if you haven't studied, otherwise you'll be paying more for re-testing. Trucks are new, (Synchronized 10-speeds make it easier to shift, also automatics are available.) Nice, Easy going guys. Talk to Eric, (owner.) Usually get you in 2 weeks or less. ***MAKE SURE YOU GET A SCHEDULED TIME @ DMV***

Class A Leasing was great! I was able to upgrade my Class B CDL into a Class A CDL with no restrictions (full Air Brakes, Manual Trans). Owner Eric was helpful with my initial questions and very responsive by text/Voicemail. Sabrina was super helpful with scheduling and kept me updated on everything on Road Test day. Sabrina asked about my availability and schedules practice driving and my Class A test on a day that worked for me. The trucks are easy to drive and have better visibility than my pickup truck. Colton did an excellent presentation on the pre-trip inspection and my driving examiner stopped me halfway through two of the sections and told me I had enough points to pass and I could move onto the next section. Wyatt took me out on the road at 6am on Valentines Day with slippery roads and coached me through driving in adverse conditions. I passed my Class A test on the first try and I would not have been successful without the help from the entire Class A Leasing crew. I took my test at the Plymouth location and found the driving examiner to be helpful, patient and very fair with his scoring.

I highly recommend coming to Class A Leasing if you want to get your CDL. They offer Class A and Class B for either manual or automatic transmissions. They are a small company with a tight nit crew. They’re instructors are highly experienced and hard working. I didn’t get a chance to be with all of them but I got to be with Coltan and Tim. Great school, great people. Great equipment. Instructors were very thorough. Other than my permit test, I knew zero about CDL and what was needed to pass the license requirements. I bought one of their packages and paid in-full over the phone. My test was originally scheduled for Nov 2, but Class A was able to move me up to Sept 2. Two whole months early! Class A gave me the confidence and knowledge needed and I passed on my first try. Thanks for everything.

In Jan. 2022 I made the decision to reboot my life with my third career. Covid was the catalyst and Class A Leasing was my solution. I have never driven a semi-tractor and rarely even pulled a trailer with a car. I took the written exam for class B and signed up with Class A. Later decided to not limit myself, retook the written exam for Class A. Why? Becaus of the professionals at the school. The instructors prepared me for the pre trip inspection and I studied a lot on my own. When it came to driving I needed a LOT of help. I did not pass the driving exam on the first attempt. I did not pass on the second attempt. I am a 62 year old former Marine and failure because of poor preparation is not an option. I invested time and money to get it right and would not have succeeded without the patient and dedicated help of the instructors at the school. I want to give an oorah (that's Marine talk for "hell yes!") particularly to Steven (sp?). He figured me out and found the right way to instruct me personally and is mostly responsible for my success.

I was recommended 'Class A leasing' by a co-worker and they had nothing but positive things to say about this outfit. I had been contemplating for several years about obtaining my CDL, but never quite had the courage to learn this trade head-on. Well, to say the least I'm very glad that I finally did! My instructor's who helped me were all fantastic in their own right. This is certainly a big task to take on, but with confidence in yourself it is absolutely possible to get your license. This is the place to go if you're needing that extra help in learning and practicing. Whether it's from the hands on learning inside of the trucks, to the thorough deep dive into the bones of these vehicles, Class A was there through and through to make me successful in obtaining my license. Special shout out, Tim is one of the instructors and an absolute delight to work with. Rather intimidating exterior, but he is incredibly respectful and patient. Excellent mentor in teaching how to drive and operate these trucks! Sabrina is the HQ manager. She's likely the first person you will make contact with once you give them a call. She is incredibly proficient in scheduling you and staying in touch. Another delightful person to work with here! Then, last but not least, the owner Eric. This gentlemen is also in the building with his team and at the course helping out. That's the kind of ownership I respect, and he is a very cordial person. Highly recommend Class A Leasing!! Give them a call, it's worth the price.

Any school, starting from middle school and ending with highest level of university, can show its students correct door with key hole, right key (in the key chain) from it, how to open the lock and show how to go thru that chosen door. Practically and physically only student by himself will be able to go thru with a guidance of a school. Most schools are play role of 30 percent of the way people going from their starting point A to point B, as their target goal. This school, Class A Leasing, will cover more than 50 percent, which is more than plenty. We are all humans and different in some way, impact of many factors in place, so listen all instructors and office members and each of them will help you in certain way to go thru your route to have your CDL. I chose right school and grateful to be student in this school. I passed the CDL exam in first time and I would do same 10 stars review even if I wouldn’t pass the test. I’m highly recommending this school. I came in to the school 2,5 weeks ago (usually they have PTI from Monday thru Friday 8-9:30) to take a look and I saw how everything is totally covered in pre-trip inspection part. Thank you guys, you are doing unbelievably great job!

Not only did I pass my class B driving test on my first try, thanks to Eric, Mary, Sabrina, and the staff at Class A Leasing, but I got a perfect score! Mary was prompt at returning my phone calls, answered all of my questions, got me scheduled for the test, and even got me an earlier test date after something else opened up, which was imperative to a job that I had already applied for. The staff helped me to prepare for the pre-trip inspection and calmed my nerves about the driving test and air-brake test in only one day! This place is Amazing! They are the reason I passed, highly recommend coming here even if you’re not from the area, because they will make sure you pass FIRST TIME. For services, I would recommend their full test day rental at the very least. I did two practice days and full test day rental which prepared me for the road and the pre trip. These guys are great. Got my unrestricted class A license in just one day. Sabrina was able to get my appointment made late on a Friday afternoon for the following Monday at 8:00 am. Eric and Sabrina were at the shop before 3:30 am and I was in the truck practicing by 3:45 am. Their trucks are in tip top shape and very easy to drive. Extremely knowledgeable and give lots of driving pointers and very thorough on pre-trip. Eric had the truck at the examine station well before my appointment. Worth every penny to me and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a CDL.

I started on June 28th 2021 and with the help of Colton, Wyatt, Bill, Brannon and Steven I was able to finish and pass my Class A unrestricted license on the first try on August 8th 2021. Best school ever. I got my unrestricted CDL in a month. They provide you with everything you need for you to succeed. Students get one to two hours of driving four times a week by yourself( with an instructor). The Pre-trip is done one hour every day till you memorize it. Eric and Sabrina are very nice and welcoming. Accommodating as well. Steve, Alex and Said are very knowledgeable. The instructors are very open to any questions you might have. The school has a lot of newer trucks and a big yard for practice. I would 100% recommend this school to people who are trying to get their CDL

If you know how to drive a manual. This will be a walk in the park well also if you know how to drive trailers. If you don’t they will teach you but it’s just added learning. The truck's are in great condition, the Cadillacs of trucks compared to what I drive. Synchronized transmissions for anyone unfamiliar are incredibly helpful. They're stripped to the essentials to give you the best possible chance to pass. This place is fantastic! Everything from the scheduler (Mary) working with me to get me in soon, to Eric for meeting at 0430, being patient, and knowledgeable. Sebrina Alex and Steven for walking me through the pre-trip with the class one last time before the test, helped me pass my Class "A" with Air brakes on the first try. They give you all the answers and knowledge you need prior to the test, if you listen, pay attention and use your time wisely you should do well. The trucks are easy to shift with almost no blind spots, easy to drive and are in great working order and its only a short distance from the test site. When I showed up with Class A Leasing the examiner said I had to wait 14 days from my last try... it was 13 days. The owner was the one dropping off the truck I told him about the pickle I was in. I could not have passed without their help. I studied and practiced a lot for the test but they are the reason I passed. The owners of class A literally drove up before the test and answered any final questions and gave me some last minute encouragement. Super easy to set up an appointment and they were able to help out and see when my permit expires due to an extension due to the ‘peacetime emergency’ the MN governor put in. I went in on Friday the 11th of September and was able to do a two hour course to get to know the truck. It was one hour for the pre-trip and one hour for driving and practicing backing up. On Monday morning Eric Odegard called/text me at 6:30 am to verify that my Exam was at the Eagan Exam station for 8am. I met him at the truck at 7:50 and he asked me if I had any last minute questions. Their training and personalized care helped me pass my Class A road test on the first try.

Very helpful on getting my class A CDL Licence. I did have my licence back in the eighties and after not using it for several years I let it go around 2010. After thing being shut down and not havi g an office job because of covid my company offered to pay for my license if I wanted to get my CDL again. That was a no brainer back to work yes. Class A help because greatly because the difference from 1980's taking the test and taking it today is completely different. The staff here was incredible! From the gal who answered the phone and fielded my questions (didn't catch her name), to my instructor, Wayne, to Eric the owner. Very personable, the trucks are almost brand new, and they did a wonderful job showing me "the ropes." I got ample practice time driving, with feedback, and even more time with the pre-trip. I was done 2 hours before my test and they let me hang out in the shop with the truck to practice the pre-trip on my own. Eric did a great job of calming my nerves right before the test as well! Awesome experience at Class A Leasing. Helpful and knowledgeable instructors able and willing to answer any questions. WARNING: This is not a truck driving school. If you expect to learn everything about passing a pre-trip inspection and CDL driving test in 2 hours, think again. You need to study and practice on your own. Class A provides the truck, you bring the rest. Very reasonable cost for what you get in the end. Less than $1000 and I had an unrestricted Class A CDL. I didn’t have to spend over 5 grand at a full-on driving school. One thing that really helped me was a couple weeks before my test at the DMV, I schedule 2 hours with an instructor here to practice and it totally paid off, it may have cost a few hundred dollars more than the flat $700 but I got to know the truck and practice backing and driving around before test day. I then used their study guide and memorized the script in the week or two before my exam. If you have a basic understanding of vehicles and driving, you’ll do just fine. I highly recommend!

I participated in their program, and went down for the day to have a class on pre trip Inspection’s and course review. This followed them assisting me in getting the resources to take and pass the written exam. Then we got to practice in their trucks which are excellent vehicles to learn tractor-trailer procedures in. My test was at 2:30 PM, and they were hanging around with us through the entire process encouraging us and knocking the edge off of my anxiety. – I passed my test. I was a walk in test so while I waited & hoped for a cancellation, I was allowed time to practice, practice, practice my pre trip. Their guides they give you to study are more than enough for the examiner. They have everything important you need to say. Had a class B license that was always limiting me with all the laws and regulations. I called Eric at class A and he set me up a time I made the decision at that time because of the distance I was driving to get there to add an extra hr of training to my scheduled appointment so glad I did there's a lot of information to take in and for me the extra hr was on the pre trip and air test as I requested I took the time to study (listen) and passed to all the people saying they failed they didn't give you the time you simply need to listen to the instructors and you will pass there giving you all the details if you can't listen that's not there fault. I did the $700 course and it was perfect. Just study before and kinda know what to expect. They'll answer any questions you've got and were super nice. I had about 2 hours before my test so I did another few pretrips and strolled around the DMV course, passed first try.

Great experience! Did the 2 hours of instruction beforehand, which actually included an hour with an instructor going through the pre-trip and an hour taking me out one on one to practice my skills. They made me feel very comfortable, especially being a minority in the truck driving world. I also had about 2 hours on my own to practice my pre-trip more before my test. I did pass my pre-trip the first time, but had to repeat my road test 2 more times. Eric was great to work with and very encouraging. Steve was also awesome to work with on my initial day. Got a little spendy, but that's only because I had to take my test 3 times due to silly mistakes from nerves. Overall, couldn't be more pleased.

I was in a time crunch to get my CDL before a job posting closed. I called on a Friday, had an appointment for the following Wednesday. I had my permit ahead of time, so I just needed some behind the wheel and Pre-Trip practice. I showed up at 6am Wednesday and had my CDL by 4 pm the same day. The instructors I worked with did a good job of explaining exactly what to say and point at on pre-trip. It helped calm my test anxiety! It wasn't cheap to do by any means, but better than doing it on my own, and failing multiple times like some people I know of.. Over all, I felt I got my money's worth due to the ease and quick turn around time. Very happy to have a valid CDL license so quickly . There are other places that cost much more, and take way more time to achieve what I was able to do in ONE DAY! Thank You CLASS A

The exam stations are a minature version of the real world. Don't try to take it in a 53' !! Class A leasing provided me the most user-friendly equipment that can be easily maneuvered within the exam station. The lady who goes over the pre-trip inspection is absolutely fantastic! I failed my test twice trying on my own. I went through Class A leasing and passed immediately my 3rd time! I would recommend these guys over any other option and you can't beat their pricing either! I did the 1,900 course since I had no experience driving anything with a trailer. In a week I passed my my Class A C.D.L test with a 93%. The team at Class A Leasing worked with my schedule and gave me the time and attention I needed. I can say that you get what you put in but if you work hard and pay attention to what your instructor is telling you to do then you will pass. All of the trucks are user friendly and the same. So it does not matter what truck you are using on the test they are identical unlike a lot of other places I looked at. Plus they are automatics so it is one less thing to worry about. If you are looking to get your C.D.L and not pay upwards of six-thousand dollars for it definitely go here.

Highly recommended. Eric is very knowledgeable and straight forward. I contacted him 6 months after getting my cdl through Class A Leasing. I needed information about employment and/or any possible owner operator opportunities. I was pleased that he remembered me and that he was very helpful. That says a lot. He could have taken my money in exchange for cdl training and be done with me. Especially since he is a busy guy. However, that was not his approach. I paid them $4900 to learn a stick shift and get my CDL. They taught me on an automatic and had me test to know what to expect for the exam. Then they taught me how to drive a manual, which I didn't even know how to do on a car, and I took the test again the following week and got my Class A CDL. So I learned everything I need to know within 2 weeks and I feel it was work the money.

I had a restriction on my cdl that was put there by mistake when I got a bus and passenger endorsement. Nine months later I'm moving onto Class A Driving that I did years before. I called Class A Leasing in my search for a solution. You have to schedule CDL driving test months ahead in some places. The owner of Class A Leasing told me to get my permit and he'd have me in in two weeks. I agreed because it was the best chance to get into a job I wanted. He called me back a few minutes later and gave me the name and number of a guy with the DMV that he said could take care of it. I called the guy and he fixed it the next day. Now I'm in a job that is a great opportunity for my whole family. I'm so thankful for his honesty, and willingness to help me.
