I am a recent graduate of 160 Driving Academy, and I highly recommend this school... great staff and atmosphere! My instructor Don made my learning experience easy and fun, also the other instructors on the yard were pretty helpful as well if needed. It's really all about if you're willing to LISTEN and LEARN. I watched one of my classmates fail her test THREE times all because she had a problem with following directions and not talking over our instructor when he was trying to teach, as if she had her license and he didn't. Everyone else in our group passed except Ms.Keyloid

Very good instructors and a nice place to learn. I want to give a special thanks to my instructor NITA, she was very supportive in all the process of getting my CDL. Very diverse and respectful group of instructors. The best thing about this school is when you fail a test all the instructors comes to you and help you to believe in your self again. Thanks

if I say all the good things about this school it would take a while so I'm going to say that this place will teach you everything about Commercial Driving and on your 4th week you'll have the confidence and knowledge you need to get your CDL on the first try one and done I want to thank my instructor Ben 👈 the G.O.A.T coolest guy ever and all other instructors that made the Academy feel like home 👍

They are professional, from the management at the school, to the instructors in the classroom and the yard. You will learn what you need to know to pass the most coveted license you can earn. The 160 Driving Academy has the one and done mentality, and if you listen to your instructors, you will reap the benefits this school has to offer. I paid for my own schooling, but they have several options such as, financing, and sponsorship through local and national companies. Topher Bowling was extremely helpful and courteous during my onboard experience. Helping to find me a job that would sponsor my training and expedite the process. David, Jack, Warren, and Rodger are all excellent instructors who helped my driving improve immensely while attending 160 academy's practice lot. Within 3 weeks I went from not being able to straight back to knowing my In-Cab, Pretrip, skills, and road test like the back of my hand. Passed my test on the first test.

I had an amazing time while getting trained on how to drive a semitruck!! I have always wanted to learn how to drive such big size vehicle, but didn't plan on having to learn the mechanics portion of the process...it took me a few days. From begging to end it was a very pleasant experience. Everyone is very professional and always offering to help, the office manager, the online classes instructors, the yard instructors. With a push from my leading instructor, the help from the other instructors and the patience and support from my classmates, I aced the incab and pre trip portion of my exam and ofcourse, passed on my first try. The instructors are very helpful and have a great deal of patience. They will work with the students and teach standard methods to ensure the concepts are understood. It is important to listen and practice. I watched many YouTube videos from other schools, but if I have to go back to school, I would definitely choose 160 Driving Academy again! Thanks to my employer, I only had to pay 5% of the total cost.

Love,love, love my instructors Warren and Preston. They are the best. Very motivating, good spirits, scared to death when you don’t know what the f$;? you doing and making sure you working hard, listening and calm. I’m happy they pushed me beyond what I thought I couldn’t do and stood firm on what they believed. Going to 160 Driving Academy was the best decision I made. I passed my Permit and my CDL on my first try. Though it seemed impossible when I started, the instructors at yard Warren and Preston made it possible for me. The steps and advice they gave me made me better and better each day. By the time my test date came I was very comfortable with my skills and pre-trip. Warren and Preston I can't thank you guys enough. Thank you.

I had to go there because of my employer requirements but I had a good experience, they are friendly and helpful if you want to get your CDL ask for Ben he knows how to get you there. They are good with following covid 19 updates and they have a good online support system also they will answer your questions by text if needed By the way I got my class A on my first attempt.

I learned alot at 160 Driving Academy. The instructors are very helpful and taught me how to straight back, off set back, and parallel park like a pro. I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting a position as a professional truck driver!

. I got my CDLs May 2019. I passed and I was just wanted to say you have an awesome team in Louisville Kentucky they are hands-down the best people I've ever met from the classroom to the truck yard! They absolutely believe in teamwork! They show all the tricks of the trade and I greatly appreciate the way that they give you a family feeling from Bethany & Chaz in the office to Mike Sr. Mike Jr., Christne & Greg in the yard. So much respect given to answering every question to instructors staying over if someone is needing extra help. Thank you so much for molding this CDL driver!!!!!

160 Driving Academy has been a great experience and an eye opener into a new career path in my life. 160 Driving Academy in Louisville has some great talent to teach you what you need to know to pass your state test. Ben Gordon and Donald Thomas have been nothing but patient and understanding on how I grasp the knowledge needed walking around a tractor trailer. They were there for every step of the way. At first, I wasn’t sure of their process and found it a little frustrating but as time went on it all started to make sense. Roger Hardy the yard master and Nita Johnson the branch manager are great people also. Always giving insight to a career in trucking and always encouraging what we are learning. The day of my test a competing school had 8 or 9 students at the test site. 6 failed the pre-trip inspection and the other 2-3 failed skills! That’s a real bad look for a competitor. 160 Driving Academy’s Students under Ben Gordon ALL PASSED! THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE AN HOUR AWAY. DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE AREA. THEY DON’T HOLD A CHANCE TO 160 DRIVING ACADEMY. TAKE THAT LEAP OF FAITH WITH 160! GET THAT ONE AND DONE HAT!
