I had an incredible experience with Kanor, from calling their office to scheduling my 16-year-old daughter for the 6-hour required behind the wheel. I requested the best instructor for all the driving lessons and picked three Sundays. My daughter learned a lot and had an amazing driving experience with Pamela.

Henry is the best instructor you can get. I've had the pleasure of learning under his guidance, he is very patient and his instructions are very clear, which heavily eases the pressure of being on the road. From the very beginning I felt no nerves due to his friendly personality. He even accompanied me all the way up to right before taking the test, which I passed on the first try! I recommend him as an instructor if you wish for someone who is calm, collected, and easy to get along with.

Amazing experience. Henry was my instructor, and was awesome. With his help, I was able to overcome my fears of driving on main roads and was able to improve at turning and parking, as well as learning basic but important maneuvers. He would politely show me what I needed to work on, in a constructive and informative way; and I was able to apply that to my driving to improve. I now feel ready to take on the DMV driving test thanks to his instruction and encouragement. Kanor is nothing short of professional and accommodating, I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to learn from them again.

This review is a little late for that I apologize. But Kanor driving school is the best!!! Within the short amount of time I paid for (6lessons) Lashawn and Carrie did an amazing job teaching me all the skills I need and the confidence to drive and pass my test. On the day of my Test I had a gentleman by the name of Ian and he had a lot of amazing last min tips to pass the test and to use in future situations. Kanor is worth every penny I definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Both of my sons took their driving lessons from Kanor. They liked all of their instructors. It was easy to schedule and cancel appointments online. The only negative was the last instructor we had, Juan, was 10 minutes late for the last appointment, and he did not give my son 10 extra minutes of driving.

Kanor has been a wonderful experience for my son. He had lessons with both Henry and Paul. They gave helpful feedback, were very nice, and gave my son a lot of confidence. The online booking system was easy to use, and they send several reminder emails about your appointment. Feedback was posted online after each lesson.

I had 6 lesson from Kanor Driving School, and i had the best driving instructor Ms. LaShon she’s very gentle, calm and kind person. I enjoyed driving with her everyday, she taught me a lot of things that help me to passed my exam today. If i will have a friend that need an instructor i will surely recommend Kanor driving school and Ms. LaShon for sure. Kanor Driving schools offers budget friendly fees and quality teaching. I enrolled my daughter for her behind the wheel lessons. Juan was her instructor for all 3 lessons. He taught her what she needed to know when driving and gave her tips on how to be a better driver. On her last lesson, Juan took her to the dmv area where she was going to be tested. He went through the test similar to the actual driving exam. Needless to say, she passed her test! Thanks to Juan and Kanor!! I highly recommend!!!

Kanor instructors are very patient and help make sure you are prepared for everything that may come your way in driving. When it came to a time when i made a mistake they were very calm, cool and collected. I think a lot of driving teachers fail to understand that yelling and negativity doesn’t very much help, especially when their is an overwhelming amount of pressure behind the wheel. Overall kanor was great!

I passed the driving test on my first try! The school makes it very easy with payments and setting up appointments. They are very quick with their response to any questions you have. The experience was a truly positive one. We had tried a big name organization that starts with an “A”… and they were not patient or supportive. The other benefit is the length of the lesson. Two hours is more beneficial and allows the student an opportunity to practice. Scheduling appointments was also super quick. After being avoidant for the last five years I finally decided that this was a year that I would drive again. He felt very comfortable with Madeline. He received a very detailed Evaluation Report in Email each time after his instruction, which was very helpful. My son Kevin had such bad anxiety when it came to driving. I wasn’t sure he would ever drive. We were matched with Tony through the St Jude occupational therapy driving assessment program. All of our dreams came true. Originally they had recommended 30 lessons for Kevin. He passed the driving test and got his license after just ten! Tony put all his fears away and taught him how to be a safe driver. I can’t begin to say how grateful we are for this driving school and the knowledge that Tony had to break things down and evaluate where my son was and get him to where he needed to be.

I admit that it was only my first out of six lessons, but when I was with my Instructor, I believe his name is Paul Curson, it was quite nice. Again despite merely going over the basics, with Paul, I like how he showed and explained first before letting me take the wheel, and he's a really good guy, very nice. Rather nice experience for my first lesson. Honestly, I think he's a great instructor. Edit: Once again I had nice experience behind the wheel, after my second lesson on Friday, especially with Paul, and again I think he's a great instructor, one that I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to drive.

The perfect kind of instructor for me, he had the right best mix of laid back and attentive that kept me comfortable for the entirety of the lessons while simultaneously not hesitant to let me know when I had made a decision that he did not feel comfortable with. I had Pamela twice and Juan once. Both are great instructors. The first lesson with Pamela was the first time I ever drove and she eased lots of my nerves, helped me get used to driving, and communicated very well right from the start. Same thing with Juan during my second lesson, in which I was driving more comfortably by that time and he helped me improve my parking too😅. They offer great tips, are very patient, and encouraging with errors. I also spoke with customer service once over the phone and it was a good experience. We also appreciated the section on their website that features all of their instructors along with a brief bio. We chose Antonio Brio based on his longevity with Kanor and his experience with teenagers. We were not disappointed. Mr. Brio is kind, patient and a great communicator. We appreciated how he kept us updated on our son's progress and suggested ways we can help him with his driving. Used Kanor driving school for both my teens behind the wheel training and their online traffic school. Online school was easy, but the material was not as funny as advertised. That being said, it is traffic jokes. As for the driving school, they were supper flexible on schedule and 2 of 3 instructors made my teen feel very comfortable, while one (2nd instructor) made her feel very anxious/stressed while driving. Other then that, they are great and would recommend them to anyone.

I took a driving Assessment at Hoag. I liked my original occupational therapist for driving and Jeremy from Kanor, who also assessed my driving at Hoag. Once I finally started at Konar, Jeremy was unavailable. The driving was good practice; however, high prices. The front desk scheduler, Annie, is very friendly and professional. She always called me back right away if I had any questions or concerns. The positive thing is you could pay as you go. I ended up having Antonio as my instructor. In the beginning, he was patient and friendly. I don't think he has proper training to handle someone with a brain injury. He wasn't always clear with instructions. Also, I felt like he applied uneasy pressure during our driving sessions. I understand he was trying to create scenarios for the event when I would start driving by myself. However, Driving should be calm and professional. I only recommend taking a few classes first and then going with an instructor you enjoy. He did have valuable notes and knew his driving laws and some helpful tips. He was sometimes harmful in his coaching. By saying I wasn't making any improvement instead of giving me positive feedback. I didn't feel encouraged. I ended up cutting the classes short. Though I received my certificate. I probably still need more practice. My certificate contained spelling errors and improper grammar. It was positive that I was able to practice driving again.

We are so glad we chose Kanor Driving School. The moment I called them, they were very knowledgeable with all my questions, polite, accommodated with scheduling and very professional. The long term knowledge your child will attain as a safe driver is worth every penny to put them @ Kanor Driving School. My daughter had such great rapport with Antonio and he's the best. There is this calmness about him and the knowledge he instilled in my daughter made her a confident driver, each lessons with him. Kanor is by the book making sure your child has confidence to pass the first time taking their test. The last driving lesson with them the instructor will score your child as if they're taking the actual test and even go on the route of the driving test. Your money will be well worth it. This place doesn't cut corners to just write off the hours for your child, it's a place to teach your child with all of the safety precautions and obstacles they need learn when driving on their own. Definitely your child will be well taught with Kanor Driving School. Highly recommend:)

This driving school is very good with well informed instructors and great teaching. I passed my driving test with only 1 mistake! The instructor is very well informed to teach me what I needed to improve to prepare for the test. Leo, taught me better handling with the turns and where I needed to look. He even inspired me to not fear the freeway and eventually it was easier to get the hang of it too. He is kind, sincere, patient, and insightful. His tips and teaching helped me see my improvements throughout my hours with him. My mother taught me how to drive before I scheduled an appointment here, but Leo helped me fix some of the mistakes that my mother did not teach me and is required for the driving test. He made me feel less nervous about the driving test. I'm grateful for this place. 10/10, I would recommend it. :)

Our family has been using Kanor Driving for the past 6 years. I have four children that have gone through both the online course with Kanor as well as the in person driving lessons. There are many kind and professional instructors there, but I am partial to Theresa. All for of my children have driven with her. It is most important to have a very knowledgeable instructor that is patient with new drivers. She is a soft spoken woman that teaches the laws of the road and can express the importance of the law and safety to her students. She encourages students that are a bit fearful when first starting out, and gives direction to those that need improvement. Patience is most important when teaching someone to learn to drive. (As most of us have experienced the frustration of teaching our teenagers to drive). Theresa gives feedback to her students so that they know the areas where they need to practice and sharpen their driving skills. I recommend Kanor Driving school to all of my friends because my children passed both the written and behind the wheel test the first time around. My daughter loved her first two driving experiences with Kanor. However her 3rd lesson was the exact opposite. During her 2 hour driving experience, her instructor continually told her "that's a fail". With little explanation as to why. During this entire 2 hour drive, my daughter could not wait to go home. When she arrived home, she was told "you are going to fail, however my son drives worse than you and he still passed". She was not complete scared and not confident in her own driving. Well guess what, I told her, she is a good driver and you know what your doing. Guess What, my daughter passed with flying colors!!! I understand that some of these student drivers will make errors, but the instructor needs to stay positive and put the student down at every turn. This is not constructive! I gave them 3 starts since the first two experiences were great. Yes, all three lessons was with the same instructor... however the 3rd one, I questioned if this was the evil twin!

I took 12 hours of classes with them and I learned so much just in the first 2 hours (or the first lesson). I recommend getting Tony as your instructor because he helped me a lot. He was really nice and he knows how to ease the tension and nervousness that you feel when you get scared. I also took their 1 hour lesson before the exam, and I had Ian (the instructor who took me to the DMV) he was really good at guiding me before taking the test. I passed the road test in just the first try and only had 5 mistakes.

The very best driving school there is in Cypress. I took the 10 lesson plan and with only 2 lessons I had the fundamentals down. In fact I actually went on the freeway on my 2nd lesson. This class was amazing!! I took this after my AAA classes and I can say by far that I learned more in this class. The AAA is fine but really didn't prepare me to the same level as this one. On my finally driving test, I only missed 1 out the 13 possible points I could have missed and its mostly thanks to this class and my instructor who was Teresa.

I took the 6 hours minors driving requirement. My driving instructor was Teresa Farrell. She was a very nice, chill (didn’t freak out or raise her voice), and has good driving form. However, another really good driving instructor that I have heard is Pamela. If you are planning to take the same course as I did, it’s definitely worth the money. All you have to do is go to the kanor driving website, pay for the specific course you want, then call them to schedule your lessons; you can change your lessons dates as needed. Thanks kanor!

With that being said, my behind the wheel test is on May 16, and I plan on taking a few more classes with Kanor to help me feel more confident and better prepared. This is the best driving school ever which I have experienced it, I had a worst experience with other driving school, but when I find Kanor and took driving classes I realized that there is huge difference between Kanor driving school and other driving school. Instructors in Kanor are reallly nice and attentive and they really care and take full responsibility to teach driving. I took 2 in car driving lessons from Kanor before my behind the wheel test at the DMV. The first instructor I had from kanor was not informative at all. I felt that the $99 I paid was not worth it, however the second instructor I had Antonio Brito was really professional, and made the two hours we had REALLY count. I highly advise you to request Antonio before taking/paying for your in car lessons. I hope I get reimbursed for the first lesson I took.

Excellent experience! When my daughter got her learner's permit at the DMV, the Clerk told me it was not valid until she had her first behind the wheel lesson with a licensed instructor. So I jumped online to find one. Three days later my Daughter had her first lesson with Kanor. She has completed three 2 hour sessions which is the minumum requirement. I will probably send her for another 1 or 2 sessions before her actual driving test. I am very comfortable with the convenient Kanor experience so far.

Tony was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very nice. After his sessions with Tony aka Anthony he was ready to take his test. I found out that Kanor actually has a service where they pick you up and take you to the DMV to do your behind the wheel. Tony picked my son up promptly at the scheduled time took him out driving to brush up whatever he needed to work on then he took him to the DMV where I met up with them to take the test. Instruction was right on. The SMOG reminders are essential. I missed one over the shoulder entering the freeway and this evaluator wants minimum 3-6 foot gap before Stop line. And 6-7foot gap behind stopped traffic. Right turn on red only ok if Zero traffic. Only 6 errors on a Supplemental DPE, pretty darn good?

Excellent driving school! I'm so glad we chose this school for our student! The online class was educational & helpful. They were also very accommodating with making driving appts & sending reminders for the appts. For the driving part, our driver was Antonio B. He was so helpful, very patient, answered all questions we had & would listen to our concerns for our student driving. He was very detailed in letting us know how well the driving was & let us know what to work on. He sent evaluations of the driving experience after each appt also. I feel very lucky we had Antonio B. for our student driver. I can not say enough good things about this experience. Thank you!
