Thank you city of driving for teaching me how to drive. My instructors were Erwin and Esperanza. I learn how to properly hold and turn the steering wheel using the shuffle steering. They were kind, patient, supportive, and informal throughout my 6 lessons and test day. The people at the office were friendly and kind to me. I will recommended this driving school to my friends and family who are looking for help learning to drive.

I took driving classes with this school, they honestly build my confidence in driving, my teacher was tough, when it came to teaching me. I genuinely preferred that because I needed honest feedback to help my driving. Very helpful techniques, it was worth signing up with them. Also, I did struggle in passing my written test. I took it maybe about 6 times and could not pass, so i signed up with Ruth to study fr my written test. I'm happy to say I passed it on my following try. Thank you Ricky, Ruth, and Edward. Millie was also great at helping me set up my lessons.

I had a fantastic experience with City Driving School as they are the reason I was finally able to pass my Behind the wheel exam. I had the great pleasure of having Edward as my driving instructor because he is very kind, patient, supportive, and overall, just a great guy to be around. In the beginning, I was very timid when it came to driving but Edward was able to help me gain the confidence I needed to navigate the road and pass my test. He was never judgmental when I made mistakes on the road, is very respectful when he gives me constructive criticism on my driving skills, and always gave super helpful tips when it came to improving upon my weak points and better my overall driving skills. I will always be forever grateful to Edward and the rest of the staff at City Driving School as they are the reason I was able to finally get my driver's license. This service is worth every penny. Earning my drivers license was a huge obstacle for me and now that I have earned it the weight on my shoulders has been lifted. As a 24 year old without a license, my lack of license used to be the topic of conversation at every family gathering. It used to be the first thing people asked me, “have you gotten your license yet?” and I had to always say no. Not having a drivers license became a part of my personality and that was extremely embarrassing for me. That embarrassment only added to my anxiety and made me an anxious driver. Before City Driving School, I did not feel confident in my skills at all. As someone who needs structure, City Driving School was the superior option. I did not feel prepared enough with just having friends and family teach me. On top of the structure, it was very easy and flexible to book sessions that worked best for my availability. City Driving School has multiple well informed instructors that all have something to offer. I learned so much through all my instructors and they helped me feel more confident in myself. I was too scared to go on the freeway but one of the instructors - Ricky, felt I was prepared and he gave me the extra push I needed. I’m very grateful for this service and my only regret is that I had not done it sooner.

10/10 experience they are really focused on what needs to be done and that’s getting your license focusing on all points of driving behind the wheel, they teach you everything here and are patient with you. They did a really good job with service everyone is really nice definitely recommend people to come here. They are good at teaching you the rules of being on the road when it comes to preparing for the written test. When it comes to driving, they help you get used to the rules(obviously through experience). The driving instructors are detailed when it comes to driving like how to turn your wheel, change lanes, checking the speed limit, and some parking,etc. They want to make sure they help you. I had a wonderful experience learning to drive with City Driving School . All of the instructors here are friendly, patient and very very encouraging. I was fortunate to have learned with Edward, Esperanza, Irwin and Ricky. I knew nothing about driving or even how to turn a car on. Although I felt I should have been yelled at many times, they never did, they just calmly repeated themselves and corrected me. I consider myself a hard to teach person. Yet with everyone's efforts and assistance in 2 weeks I was able to get my license. I would recommend this driving school to anyone I know, anyone who wants to learn with the best :) Thank you. City Driving School is worth every penny if you’re unsure or skeptical of your driving ability. The entire employee staff was very welcoming and supportive, especially Angela! She was really nice and understanding and she provided me with the best services that helped ease my stressful driving situation. Where can I start. Words can’t express how blessed we were to have City driving school guide my, soon to be 17 year old, son through this journey. They guided him from beginning to end, from training him to get his permit, to obtaining his drivers license. Ruth is very professional on training and Edward on guiding him on his driving. They were prompt and professional on all his appointments. Even on the last minute, my car had a problem the day before the driving test, and they managed to squeeze him in the schedule and take him to the DMV for his test. My son would never have done it without them, teenagers need professional guidance and good guidance, because driving is a PRIVILEGE that is earned with hard work and professional guidance.

This school accomplished the impossible. My daughter got her license on her first test! The people there are very friendly and go above and beyond to help you out. Her instructor Ricky was very patient with her. He was always on time from picking her up to dropping her off. She was a very nervous young lady and now she's confident and ready to take the road. There are absolutely amazing. My daughter has a learning disability and did not pass the written test at the Montebello DMV. In addition, the DMV was rude, cold, and did not make my daughter feel comfortable, actually raised her anxiety. At City, in particular Ruth, took my daughter under her wing, studied with her individually, provided her with confidence, and gave her the support she needed to pass the written test on the first try! She is now enrolled in the drivers training classes and couldn't be happier and I am so proud of my daughter. Thanks again, next up my high school son!

If you're looking for highly-qualified , supportive, and patient instructors then you've come to the right place. The instructors assess your weaknesses and explains how you can overcome them. Then took me on the exact routes the DMV uses until I was comfortable with both. The team also sets you up with DMW appointments at your convenience. I could not have chosen a better school.

it a really helping places for people that are first timers in written test and driving test. I highly recommend City Driving School for many reasons. The first one is, they’re very cooperative and flexible with your schedule. Next, their instructors will identify your weaknesses and help you fix them. Lastly, they’re affordable and understanding. I just passed my behind-the-wheel test today and it was only my first try. Driving instructor Esperanza was an excellent instructor! Explained driving techniques in depth and made sure I understood the driving rules. I felt safe and comfortable for all 6 hours. I just took my drivers test today and I have never felt more prepared for a test in my entire life. I spend days looking for driving classes that were not outrageous in price, local, and that worked with my schedule. I found this place and let me tell you it was worth it. My I instructor was edward melgar and he was amazing. So patient and always gave great feedback on our driving lessons. He was very accommodating and always made me feel confident with my driving. I couldn’t have done this without their help. It’s a family owned business so they are sooo welcoming and honestly those are always the best. I highly recommend them because they will definitely make sure you pass your drivers test!!

Shoutout to Edward and Erika for providing helpful tips and identifying my weak spots. Passed the exam first try. Driving exam was only 8 minutes and instructor immediately passed me with few errors. Taking their course calmed my nerves and helped me become an alert driver because California has some of the most terrible, impatient and erratic drivers. No more terrible LA transportation and crazy people on the bus like at 2am

Best driving school out there! The staff is super friendly, thank you Ruth for all the information over the phone and for helping me with all those practice tests for my permit. My instructor, Edgar, was super patient, calm, and informative when teaching me how to drive. Thanks to him I was able to conquer my fear of driving and get my permit and license all in less than 2 months. I definitely recommend them to anyone who's just learning how to drive or just needs some more practice behind the wheel before they take their test. Best driving school!!!The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I took the 6hr class which was divided into 3 days (2hr each session ). My instructor Edgar was super nice and patient. From the first time we met she said no more permits you will be taking your driving test and passing it this time, you have to believe in yourself. For some these words may seem insignificant but for me they meant a lot. Yesterday September 30, 2020 I finally passed my test!!! I am now a licensed driver thanks to the encouragement of everyone at City Driving School including Edgar who helped me prepare right before the test. Everyone is incredibly friendly and patient. I definitely recommend this driving school! I decided to take classes because I had no idea how to drive and I wanted to learn properly. My instructor Edgar was so patient with me and answered all the questions I had and now I'm able to drive with confidence! I passed the test on my first try today! I took 6 hours driving course, but since I didn't have a car to use for practice at home, I took 3 more classes. I was never originally intending to pay for classes, but I am so glad I did! City Driving School is awesome! My instructor was Esperanza and she was always so nice and patient from day 1. I had originally only paid for 8 hours but decided to pay for an additional 8 because I didn’t feel ready yet. The staff was super nice and even set up an appointment with me for the behind the wheel test. For the exam I also decided to use their car which gives you even more practice: an hour’s worth before the test. I had to stop depending on uber and the bus to get to work or to go out. I knew I had to start driving, I stopped because of my experience with another driving school. I found CDS and read their reviews. I then looked them up on social media and saw they had a good rate of students passing their behind the wheel test. I called them up and sure enough I was greeted and given the information I needed. I booked the 3 day 2 hour classes, the car rental, and an extra hour right before the test. I learned a lot as my instructor Edgar made learning fun. Never yelled or told me harshly that I been messing up. He kept a vey positive attitude. I kept practicing some movements until I nearly perfected them. Come test day, he suggested I add another hour of practice warmup. Best choice I made. STOP to read my comment: I'm a mom of a teenager, I'm a mom of irwing 17 years old, and for obvious reasons, every time I taught her her first driving lessons, she made me super nervous like all parents, consequently, my baby was also nervous. I had the best decision to go to City Driving School so that my baby could learn everything to drive and I had the best decision, I am infinitely grateful for the classes and of course the instructor Edward for his patience and for treating my son well. Today Thursday my son had his driving test and Thank God he passed it!!!!!! Yay I am happy that my baby is happy! If you are a good father or mother, invest in your child's EDUCATION or in things that will serve them for their future and I promise that it is the best feeling you can feel in your heart when you do everything possible for them. ...
