It is so unfortunate that I can’t give him ten stars, not five!!!!! HE IS THE BEST. I can clearly say that I couldn’t have passed the driving test without him. I had literally no previous driving experience or license, and it was my first attempt to take a behind-the-wheel test. Though I was so nervous about the upcoming test while practicing, he was really cool and his calm voice made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Trust me, he is the bestest. He gives you a lot of tips that are really useful for the test and even your driving life after the test! During the test, I drove some of the exact same routes I’d driven with him beforehand. I am so glad that I decided to have your help. Again, thank you so much, Carlos!! Can’t thank you enough!!!!

Highly recommended! I already got my driver’s license, so excited!!! I didn’t have driving experience before. The classes improved my driving skills a lot. Carlos is very patient. My English is not that good, but he can always try to explain to make sure I understand. He is very helpful. Snapshot: Dear Google, we need more stars to make this rating more accurate. =) Some details... He passed the vibe check. It can be awkward to be in a car with a stranger but Carlos put me at ease right off the bat. Of course, the aim is to learn a valuable skill but there's also value in small talk because it calms your nerves, makes you more receptive. Bonus is that he can handle (my) humor. So if you're jittery before your test, humor helps reduce the stress - trust the science behind it. Ha! Reliable. Assisted me inside the DMV and waited in line with me. You know how the lines can get. I knew right then and there that as an instructor, he's got my back. Born to share knowledge. I've acquired nasty driving habits from the Philippines that seriously needed feedback and correction. Carlos is able to get his feedback across without being harsh or condescending. Makes me respect his experience more. He's also genuinely encouraging. Truly appreciate that. Proof. I passed my behind-the-wheel on my first try. Lemme flex that a bit more - Passed. On. My. First. Scheduled a 1 hour driving session with dmv test and with no previous driving experience in a car, was able to get the hang of it within that hour thanks to the calm, helpful, and detailed instructor. He is one of the best teacher that you can find in California. You are sure to pass the test and also become a confident driver with his lessons. He has a straightforward approach and is usually honest when it comes to teaching. There is no sugarcoating and hence the student will know for sure if he or she is fit to be a good driver before taking the test. His teaching will surely give you the confidence to drive although plenty of practice is always the best teacher. The decision to take his lessons can be taken eyes closed as He will tell you all about the road rules and regulations Techniques Do and don’ts and also of how many lessons you actually truly need before taking the tests. As a person that struggled to overcome the fear of driving, my experience with this driving school was phenomenal. After the first 2 hour lesson, my confidence level rose tremendously and was even looking forward to the next. The next two lessons were also very educational and it overall helped me become wise driver behind the wheel. Before the official test, I spent an hour driving around the area and got myself comfortable with the area, and with all the help I received, I safely passed my test and left the dmv with a smile! A good instructor. Will go over the basics and ease you into the road. A patient and calm environment. He goes over almost everything on the actual test and goes over what you can improve at the end of each lesson. I'm a zero knowledge driver and my mid 30's where fears and anxiety was already. Driving is one of my fears. I don't know how to drive at all! I contacted Charlie about a month or so I practiced every other day to catch a lot and assess your skills if you need more practice which is a big factor in whether you will pass it or not. He will tell you all the necessary rules and safety and if he needs to be tough on you he will so you can learn. My experience Charlies Driving Traffic School was phenomenal. It was my first time getting behind the wheel and i was very nervous.The instructor was ALWAYS calm and never raised his voice even when i would make big mistakes. He would let me know what i did wrong, tell me how to fix it, and he would then make sure i did it again correctly. As we drive he gives you advice on what to do, situations that you may come across while driving, and teaches you to be a cautious driver that is aware of his/her environment as well as one that will be ready to take the behind the wheel exam. I am the third in my family to take lessons with Charlie and every one of us has passed the driving exam the first time with no problems. Taking classes with him will highly increase your chances of passing the drivers test and i would recommend him to anyone that is looking for not only an experienced instructor but as well as one that helps you feel comfortable behind the wheel.

After struggling to pass my drivers test several times and having taken lessons with other driving schools, I was highly discouraged from attempting to retake my driving test again. Then I found Charlie’s driving school and was persuaded through a friend to take driving lessons with him in which I was pleasantly surprised because I ended up passing my test the same day I took a lesson with him. This is long overdue BUT Charlie's Driving School is great for anyone who thinks they'll never be able to drive or anyone who just wants to get their license for the first time. Two of my friends recommended them to me so I gave it a try. I took driving lessons with Carlos and Alicia. Both are very patient and great instructors who allow you to feel safe behind the wheel. I passed my driving test on the first try! I think its worth the time and money to spend on driving school because you learn how to become a defensive driver and learn things a lot of drivers nowadays forget about safety. They'll also be able to determine if you're ready to take your test or not and will give you great tips on how to improve your driving.

At first driving was really nerve wracking since it was my first time behind the wheel, but the instructor will resassure you and help teach you to make good judgements while on the road. He teaches you to be a cautious driver and keeping in mind different scenarios you could encounter on the road. Punctual. Professional. Proficient. I'm in my mid twenties and have avoided learning how to drive out of anxiety. This driving school eased off all my anxiety and has taught me how to be a defensive driver. I like how we students we are given a grading scale by our instructor after every lesson.
