Great experience! I had only 2 lessons and just passed the DMV road test. The coaches are great and responsive, but you sometimes have to ask for specific instructions if you need ones. (and they are willing to answer!) There is a simulation road test before the exam and is customized for the location you choose, which really helped a lot. You can also use their car to take the exam with additional fees.

Best driving school in the area! I had an amazing experience with them. Greg is such a nice guy and good instructor. He made me feel comfortable and safe when driving. I passed my road test yesterday first attempt thanks to them! With only a few lessons. Very easy to work with, they always accommodate to your schedule. Before them, I tried another driving school in Champaign and the instructor was so rude and sarcastic, so I was so happy when I changed to I Can Pass Driving School and they treated me nicely. Also, this is probably the only driving school in the area where you can pay through Zelle, so you don’t have to go to an ATM and withdraw money for every single class. The price is also cheaper than other schools. 100% recommend them.

I moved to Illinois as a New Yorker who had never really driven at all. At first I didn’t believe I could pass the road test with only four lessons, but Greg’s patient, kind, clear instructions made me feel confident in driving so quickly, and I passed on the first try! Cannot recommend I Can Pass highly enough. Excellent streamlined process and great people at every step of the way.

Great driving school! I had Jack as my instructor and then Dr. Hsieh took me for my practice road test and actual road test. I had about 10 hours of lessons (and then the mock test) and was able to pass my road test on my first try! I Can Pass Driving School and the instructors are very organized, patient, and dedicated and they have a solid system/curriculum for ensuring their students learn how to drive and are able to get their license. They did not drag out the lessons to get more money and the prices are reasonable in comparison to other driving schools. I felt confident after my lessons and Jack and Dr. Hsieh were very encouraging and patient with me, which I appreciate. You also use their cars and you can use their car for the road test (if they think you are ready), which is very convenient. I would highly recommend!

It only took three classes for me to get my license! KC was very calm, patient and encouraged me since I was very nervous to drive after so long. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get their license and might be nervous to get out / get back on the road.

I was able to get my driver's license after four lessons. They are very professional in their approach to teaching. Jack taught me everything I needed for the road test. They'll allow you to use their car for the road test (my road test was in Rantoul). They'll only allow it after they feel that you are ready for it. Would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in getting their license !

All the instructors are very professional and they never made you feel upset about driving even if you feel difficult at the beginning. They also have the sample test to help you better prepare for the road test. I would strongly recommend this driving school if you have no experience in driving!

If you are a novice drivers wanting to learn how to drive, this is the place to go. They don't push you to take the road test when you drive immaturely nor delay you any further if they think you are ready. They have professional and responsible people who knows what they are doing. And you can trust them. Emmy is a superb instructor. She is patient and her instructions are on point. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

I wanted to leave a review specifically for Gerald. He really is a great driving instructor. He was patient and kind all the time and understood when I made mistakes that I’m still learning. I really prefer his style of teaching because he tries to build good driving habits in students from the very beginning. he’s also very reasonable so he’ll evaluate your driving skills in the beginning to see how many hours of practice you need. I highly recommend requesting him as your instructor. I always felt like i got the most out of every session, i never felt like I was wasting time.

Moving On

I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST TODAY FIRST TIME!!!!!!! (congratulations me), and also to my fellow colleague's who went before me this morning. I am grateful for being one of the 3 students who passed first time today at the beginning of the year 2022 with this school. It was two guys and girl (hahah that's me lol:). Firstly, I must give God thanks for helping me pass and then to the instructors Greg, Emmy and KC. The instructors are on time and professional. They will take you on the test route for your mock test before the driving test which really helped me. I would recommend this driving school to others. PS. my only issue is that these instructors cars are not very clean but I survived. I passed and that is all that matters. As my handle says.....This is my year!!!! Upwards and onwards! I had a great time with Greg. He was very patient, kind, and soothing- basically the kind of instructor you want to teach you how to drive for the first time. I also like how they personalize my lessons according to my progress so I can improve my driving slowly. They also pick you up from wherever you are, which is a plus since I did not have to spend my time on traveling. Overall, thank you for helping me pass the test!

As a beginner in driving, It was difficult for me to learn driving all by myself. The instructors at I Can Pass are very skilled and professional. I’d definitely recommend this for not only the first time drivers but also for the ones who need to brush up their driving skills and prep to pass the driving test. To add to this, they’re pretty flexible in scheduling lessons according to your availability. Had a great experience!

The driving school has excellent instructors (Gerald and Dr. Hsieh) who were patient and set a good learning pace. The lessons were well-structured and test-oriented. Moreover, the mock test was a replica of the DMV road test and made the actual test extremely simple. Highly recommend the school to anyone who wants to get a license with minimal lessons.

Unlike other schools, the instructors at I can pass are very polite, patient, and excellent in communicating the essential rules/ tips for driving. Their mock road test is very useful for getting used to the routes during the road test. Overall, great driving school and highly recommended for international students !

I've taken driving classes and used the driving test service here and it has been absolutely fantastic. My instructor, Greg, was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. It was a great delight to take his classes, and I always felt safe and calm while driving/learning. I also felt very prepared for the driving exam, and I was provided a vehicle, drop off/pick up and help with what papers to bring as an F1 student. I highly recommend I Can Pass!

This is a great driving school. I passed my test in first attempt with just 6 hours of training. My instructor Jim was awesome. Also I took their car for the test. They allowed me to drive the car to the DMV and even gave me suggestions to pass the test. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. Passed the test in the first try. The instructors (specially Greg and Scott) are very professional and know the exact details about the road exam and what we will be tested on. Their mock test was a blessing in disguise because it was the same route that the actual test happens on and thus I was well prepared with the stop signs / parking / speed limits. Would highly recommend their service. As an advice would recommend people to try out Monticello or Rantoul DMV for the test.

I passed the road test in first attempt. Jack gave me wise pointers to follow and gave me really good training. I was weak in certain areas and he made sure to let me practice enough before the test. My test took place while it was raining and it went very well !! I will definitely recommend this driving school to others especially international students here.

Great quality teaching, communication, and coordination from the instructors (Greg and Emmy). I learned from nothing within 9.5 hours of class and passed the driving test in first attempt. The mock test was definitely useful. I found the price little expensive. But I guess, they offer a compettive price in comparison to other schools in the area.

It's fine. The coach is pretty responsible but perhaps could further improve the teaching method and temper. I would suggest pay the same amount of money to friends instead--at least it doesn't cost a lot to ask friends before making decision.
