MT driving school is the best!! If you want to be confident and able to drive in all different places, go here! I didn’t know how to drive at all before I came to MT driving school, and after the 6 hour training, I’m confident and comfortable driving on both local and freeways. Mrs.Phan is an excellent instructor and has great personality. She lets you know how to drive under different circumstances, as well as risk management. Her husband is also very nice and helpful for getting my paperwork down and setting the DPS appointment. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and anyone who’s willing to get a license.

I would recommend this business to anyone looking to learn driving in the Houston area. I took a 6 hour behind the wheel training course with MT Driving school and my experience was very pleasant and professional. The trainer was very proactive to help you correct your possible errors till it becomes muscle memory. I had no experience behind the wheel ever and managed to drive on the freeway, parallel park, and comfortably drive through different environments. I passed my exam on the first attempt.

MT Driving is value for money! I did package 3 (6 hours and driving test) and I got extremely thorough training. The training also focused on areas I mentioned I lacked confidence in, and they took the time to help me build confidence in those areas, for example, by driving on freeways. I’m glad I went with them and would highly recommend it!

MT driving school is very professional and wonderful, my instructor Ms. Phan is so genuine, kind, and sweet, had lots of great conversations with her! She is soo patient, taught me to drive on the freeway as well as lots of driving skills and knowledge. Andy, This school is exemplary! My daughter was feeling a bit overwhelmed by taking the driving test so we talked to Andy and he was extremely helpful. My daughter took the test and passed, the entire process was very smoth and instructional. One of my friend recommended this school to me and I am glad that I came here. Mrs. Thuong Phan is awesome/expert driving instructor. During my 6 hour road lessons from her, she tells all the necessary information (related to safety, local drive, freeways, road signs etc.) which I need to know that helped me become confident while driving. She encourages students to drive safely. Her husband Mr. Minh Phan is very helpful and quick in completing documentation for driving license and scheduling my appointment from DPS. They are very polite, professional and flexible in scheduling training lessons and test. They provide pickup and drop off service to your selected location. I came in with little driving skills however after spending time driving with the instructors, I was able increase my confidence behind the wheel. The instructors encourage their students to drive as safely as possible and are very good teachers that will help if you have any questions or concerns. Best School in Town !! Okay, so I wanted to learn driving and get my license. I have already driven in my country but here in US - they drive on the other side.I saw the reviews on the Google. I went to meet them on Saturday. They were so nice and welcoming. I asked them if they can create a schedule for me, as I want my license done fast. I told them I had only 9 days before I leave Houston, Texas. Started In-Car lesson on Monday. Passed my driving test on Thursday (same week). Took just 4 days(Mon-Thurs) in total(5 hours) to get my license. I am very happy with this school, and would recommend it to any one who wants to learn how to drive. It is just like you become a part of their family.

I came in to this driving school, no actual kind of experience, barely could step on the gas. I finished all my lessons today and I've become more brave and I've improved for the better. The driving teacher is very professional and I can tell that she's passionate about her job. She's very nice and if you don't understand something, she'll make sure to go over it again with you. I walked in today for a driving test and even though I forgot to bring my certificate and not completing the impact Texas drivers, they helped get through with it by setting me up with the video and allowing me to send them a pic of my certificate. I was stressed for my driving test but it was a pleasant experience and I passed my test. Great customer service

The instructor was good, and I became a confident driver without any prior driving experience. I bought the 6-hour adult package, but sometimes the lessons ended earlier than expected, so I thought I had 30 more minutes of lesson time left. I suggest the school confirm with students in writing the time spent during each lesson to avoid any misunderstandings.

I was SOOOOOOOOO nervous about my road test today it's my first time ever having my license in my life but Andy was very professional and Ms. Phan was so comforting she put my mind at ease and was very patient with me. She stresses safety and always obeying the laws and I think that is important because driving can be dangerous if you're not careful but if you're nervous or hesitant MT Driving School is the place to be. I passed my first try and I guarantee that if you come to this school and let them instruct you there's no way you'll fail because they are the best of teachers at MT Driving School and will teach you how to properly and safely drive the right way and they are very professional and by the book!!

So simple and fast!! Literally called, came in, got my paperwork done within 5 minutes, took my drivers test, and I was done!! The instructor was SO SWEET, she made me feel so comfortable with my drivers test with her friendliness! & Once I was done, they had made my DPS appointment & I was set to go get my license the same day!! The man in the office who did all my paperwork & appointment, also provided help on how to get to the DPS the fastest way while ensuring my nervous driver mom that she’d get there within 20/30 minutes & that she’d be okay on the toll way! Great place!! 10000/10 recommend if you’re looking for a third party or a cheaper alternative for your license!!

Called MT Driving School to schedule a road test for my daughter after reading all the great reviews. Andy was pretty thorough and made it very clear on all documents we should have on hand when arriving for the test. We were in and out in less than an hour and headed straight to DPS. After a long wait at DPS, my daughter was able to obtain her drivers license the same day. Andy and his staff made the process very smooth and painless. Prices are reasonable compared to others I’ve searched. Already recommended to family and coworkers.

It took me two days to pass the final exam, with a total of about 3-4 hours of driving time. The instructor bases her teaching on the student and their capability to drive. The more skilled you are at driving, the less she has to teach you, and vice versa. I've read a review that the instructor was rude, but I would say otherwise. She has good communication and conversations that makes you feel comfortable. If you have questions, she has answers. I enjoyed my time learning from her, and if anything, she made more jokes than she was "being rude." If you're awful at driving, of course, the instructor will "yell" at you because both of your lives are on the line. I came there to drive, pass the exam, and get my license, which I succeeded in doing so in two days. I went to the DPS the following day, with the appointment Mr. Minh made for me 3 minutes right after passing the driving exam. Overall, good school. Mrs. Phan and Mr. Minh were both friendly and made everything much easier and comforting than I thought it would be.

I took refresher driving lessons to prepare for the road test after a long break from driving. Ms. Thuong was a great teacher. Although she was a little bit late to some sessions early in the morning, she was very flexible, making it easy to schedule driving sessions with short notice. She was always attentive, making sure that I was driving safely, and gave good cues to ensure that I kept in mind everything I needed to (checking mirrors constantly, maintaining speed, looking far ahead on the highway, etc.). She was also good at inspiring confidence and reducing my anxiety about driving, so it only took a few hours of driving and practicing parking before I was ready to take the test. I would definitely recommend this driving school.

Both instructors were extremely professional and knew what they were doing. Having driven most of life on the other side of the road, driving on the right side was making me nervous. With 2 quick lessons in which I learnt a lot and a warm up before the test- I cleared the driving test in one go. To be honest, most of the people that gave this place 1 star were probably upset about something else and decided to take it out by giving a bad review. The instructor is super insightful and nice because their main priority is making sure you know your basics. You must be able to take criticism well and listen to their advice. I saw all the great reviews on this place and decided to try it out. I’ve had my permit for 3 years and decided it was time to get my actual drivers license. I came to MT driving school to ask/schedule a road test, Andy and his wife were very welcoming, informative, and got me an appt for Thursday at 11am. When it was time for the road test I was nervous, but Andy’s wife was a sweet soul, reminded me of the rules and helped me calm down. I ended up passing my test! Everyone should come here they are great.

They try their best to meet you where your needs are and make for very personalized lessons. Before I started the MT driving program, the only experience I had prior was driving in a parking lot. I completed the 6hr program (they picked me up and dropped me off home as well). I am now driving on the tollway, freeway, and the road. Mrs. Phan is very patient, understanding, and she has a great personality. I have learned so much from her in only a week! Came here to take road test because DPS turned me down. Driving instructor was very pleasant and detail oriented. Was clear with instructions ahead of time and was very informative on what I needed to pass. She spoke to me like I knew her which made me very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are very professional and good teachers I came here to take my driving test, I was so nervous that day. There was 1 person ahead of me, when she came back with the instructor I realized that she did not pass the test. That makes me more nervous. but then when I took the car I did good and passed the test. They are very professional, they will pass you only if they know that you can drive safely on the road. So if you want to have your driver license efficiently go to MT driving school.

Excellent professional service. As an international transfer I only required a road test but found most other driving schools charged a lot for this and some required lessons first. MT offer very competitively priced options in own car or school car and were able to offer a test appointment for the next day which was Saturday. On the test day, the forms and materials were well organised so that the administrative filing was all completed rapidly. The staff were friendly and the examiner firm but fair, informing me of the minor errors I made and corrective action. I highly recommend MT Driving School to any learners.

Today, I gave my driving test and passed it the very first time. Best customer service at a nominal price. Very clear instruction from Andy about the requirements for taking the test. I reached the place on time and completed my test within 30 minutes. The driving tests start as early as 8.30 am, so the earlier your appointment, the quicker it takes to complete the test. After the test, I got correct feedback about what I did right and wrong during the test. Very happy with my decision of choosing MT driving school. Thank you.

MT driving school is simply amazing. I was previously enrolled in another school but unfortunately I didn’t gain confidence there that’s why I googled and found here. Phan coached me two and a half hours and she was so experienced to see through my fears and kicked them out of me one by one, not mentioning it was pleasant to drive with her all along. She built up my confidence and I was able to pass the driving test after spent 2.5 hours with her. When I was waiting my turn in school, I talked to Andy who really cares about students’ true understanding of driving and safety outside the school, though I didn’t pay for those tips. Overall I highly recommended this school, beginners can start from driving theory there all the way to driving test.

The teacher was great at explaining and giving instructions as well as making sure you get enough practice before you go out on highways and busy streets. I went in on a Saturday and paid up front and by the next week, I had completed the 6 hour course and passed my test.

The best. I work a full time job that would not let me skip a few hours to take a drivers test, and DPS schedule is too hard to work around. I loved their care for my progression to getting my license. They made sure that I stayed on top of my practice and called frequently to try and make sure that I got everything I needed done before I went to the DPS. Mr. Phan had absolutely everything covered when I was finally able to go to the DPS to get my license. I got their early in the morning with nothing but the documents that he had provided me and the lady thought that I was probably missing something because no one ever came to them with that one form filled out. While I was filling it out I told her that I swear my instructor had already had me fill out that same paper. She refused to believe me until she looked through the papers that Mr. Phan had provided me and she then subsided. After having waited so long to get my license, I truly felt that I had made the right choice in driving schools. The couple that teaches is very approachable and easy to talk to. To reiterate, I absolutely loved their service and would recommend it to anyone looking for drivers ed.

At first, I thought I was going to fail and that made me nervous and fret a lot, however I couldn't believe what Mrs. Thoung has taught would be a change to me. The results was stunning. It started out as with only 7 random time and day you appoint to drive with either Mr. Andy or Mrs. Thoung to drive from beginner to an average driver. Mrs. Thoung was my favorite mentor. She tells me a lot of stories, and great advice and a lot of imaginative math to make you successful in your driving in the future. Though mentors may be scary, never judge the experienced mentors.

I had the best experience working with Ms Phan and her husband Andy. Both are very kind and the same day i went to apply it went very smooth. They are very flexible with your schedule and I greatly appreciated that. My 6 hour driving classes with Ms. Phan were enjoyable and she’s very friendly and easy to talk to. She makes sure to let you know what mistakes you’re making and how to correct them. I love how thorough she is with instructing. She’s an amazing teacher and i’d recommend this driving school over any other one, and I’m glad i chose this one.

It was a fun experience to drive the car and learn new things . After the in-car training with Ms. Phan I felt more confident in driving. This is the best place to get the license. You pay for the course, which is $75 dollars, and they teach you videos on how to be careful when driving and they teach you everything you need to know to pass the driving test. Then they give you a test based on what you learned during the class and it's so easy that everyone passes it and also if you want to take the driving test there they charge you $50 if you use your car or $75 if you use the car they have at the school. This place is a place near aki in the Houston area and you really should come here for pork other places charge as expensive as $200. And here you can take the driving test and avoid waiting months at the DPS for them to give you a date and time to take it there. The truth is that this has been a super easy process and I really recommend it to everyone. Also do not be afraid that if you do not speak English there is no problem. There is material to study in English and in Spanish, they play videos in Spanish if you ask for it.
