Had the opportunity of working with Diane on a consistent basis..she's amazing at what she does. When I'm behind the wheels it didn't feel as if I was learning from an instructor. she took time to ensure yes, I was safe and comfortable, she gave me feedback and consistently told me to stay out of my head, because she was confident in me. But, she also made the process easier by pretty much talking about anything whether it was how my day was going, a tactic to help the driver feel relax. it took me a few tries but finally I got my license thanks to Atlas driving school. Also special shoutout to Melissa always so warm and cheerful when scheduling. never have I had a problem making an appointment even on short notice. I appreciate you all.

I had a great experience at this driving school. My instructor, Diana, was awesome. The environment was welcoming and whenever I would go to my sessions I felt comfortable. The sessions really prepared me for the road test. Because of my sessions with Diana and her words of encouragement, I felt confident during my test. Melissa, who handles appointments and paperwork, was a pleasure to talk to. She was always friendly and would put you in a good mood. Her words motivated and made me feel more confident. I just passed my driver's exam FIRST TRY thanks to them!! After my brother passed his driver's exam, my Mom wanted to enroll me to this school as soon as possible but I was hesitant on going to classes because I thought they'll be boring and frustrating. I was VERY wrong. When starting off with the more classroom-like lessons, you can tell that the teacher, Florian, was really passionate about everything he tried to teach and always tried to keep everyone at their toes. Not to mention, he'd always find ways to light up the classroom in days that felt slow and somber. The materials he chooses to help educate us on certain topics and situations are super useful that I often quote in my mind, and even out loud, whenever I drive around. After completing my hours for classroom lessons, it was finally time for me to get on the road. I was very nervous at first, since I was more used to driving around empty parking lots, but Florian gave me the courage to start driving on the road to help me get the gist on what usually happens when driving. After completing my first driving lesson with Florian, I began to spend the rest of my lessons with Diane. Diane was such a fantastic and fun teacher to have guide me whenever I drive! She was also so clear and concise with her instructions and is very level-headed and calm whenever I make some major or minor mistakes by pointing out what I should have done instead. She also made my one hour driving lessons entertaining as she would often converse with me for whatever's going on in her life in order to get me more comfortable with having passengers in the car as well as keep me grounded whenever I would get stressed about my mistakes. You can tell she cares and has faith in her students' abilities. I should also mention Melissa, who I would usually call to schedule classroom and driving lessons. Without her, I probably would have forgotten a handful of appointments I've scheduled because she often calls me to remind me 48 hours in advance of my lesson. She is also the one that keeps track of my hours, letting me know how many I have left of class or driving I need before I can move on to the next step. Without her, I'd definitely be lost. Whenever we aren't talking about appointments or hours, she would often converse with me with whatever is going on by asking me how my day was or telling me what she's experienced before. In fact, all staff in Atlas are all very fun and passionate about what they do. I would have never imagined myself passing the driving test without their help at all and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to help me learn how to drive but them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone nervous about driving because I started off believing that I'll get into an accident the first day on the road but because of their dedication and belief in me, I was able to overcome my fears and pass.

My experience at Atlas Driving School was fantastic! They are very organized, flexible, and understanding. Melissa is such a lovely and funny lady; she has excellent attention to detail and will make sure you are in good shape before your test. I also want to highlight the fantastic job that Diane has done while teaching me how to drive. During our class, she was very calm and respectful and gave me tips to help me learn parking and driving skills. Before going to this school, I was terrified of driving; I encountered many teachers who weren't the most patient or knowledgeable. I will surely recommend Atlas Driving School to everyone. I started the school with zero knowledge and after a few practice sessions with my amazing Instructor who was Diane, she had so much patience and was very polite, I was so comfortable with her. She taught me everything I needed to know on the 6th October, 2021, I did my road test and I was successful on my first attempt. I will like to say a big thank you to Diane. I didn't believe that I could have done it, but she had the confidence in me and I did it. The receptionist was Melissa, she was was so awesome. She worked with my schedule. Driving with the school was great. The driving instructors were kind and patient as they were willing to teach you everything you needed to know. The staff are amiable and go out of their way to help you. Melissa, who worked at the front desk, was always so funny and made my day with her humor and kind enough always to make sure I had a lesson booked. Diane was always so kind and funny as she helped whenever I felt anxious during driving and an excellent instructor. Christina always knew how to give me great tips, and she was easy to talk to and helpful on how I can pass the test. The school owner was also beneficial who helped me a lot, especially with drugs and alcohol classes. Overall, I highly recommend going to the school because the staff will surely help you pass your test. I am grateful to everyone who is the reason for passing my test the first time. Thank you!

There are a lot of driving school options around where we live, but we were lucky to pick the BEST! If you’re looking for professional and really passionate people about what they do, Atlas is the school. Starting with the registration until you get the license, they are with you every step of the way! Melissa is so nice and very organized. She makes sure everything runs smoothly and we found the reminders about scheduling very helpful. The classes were flexible and scheduled at times that worked for my child. New drivers are generally nervous and we were so lucky to meet our favorite instructor, Diane. She is such a wonderful instructor and was able to figure him out right away. She taught him not just how to drive, but how to do it SAFELY! She helped him increase his confidence when driving and she was with us until the end. My son got his license and that’s all because of the help and guidance he received at ATLAS DRIVING SCHOOL! Thank you Atlas!

If you just got your learner permit and want to learn how to become safer driver, this school is one of the best driving school you can go to. Everyone in this driving school is nice and respectful. My mom came here so she recommended Atlas Driving School to me. Very professional and organized. The teacher always corrects your mistakes and explains to you why it was incorrect, which is very helpful. My driving instructor was Diane, a really great person, very patient, always helpful, and very understanding! My experience with them was amazing, a decision I do not regret and money well spent. Not only are the staff professional, they also take the training they offers seriously and showed they care a great deal about the success of each individual who walks through their door. Thanks to Mellissa who works the front desk and deals with customer relations; their customer service is exceptional. From the moment of first phone contact to first meeting in person I was already feeling at ease and confident. My classroom/in-class learning with Florian was concise yet informative. Florian mentally equipped us with the necessary tools needed to not only simply pass the class but to become safe motorists. His method of teaching was very interactive and lets each of us apply critical thinking to the information provided and the questions he would asked during class. Diane was my driving instructor and she was amazing; she’s very experienced, positive, patient, she knows how to put you at ease, she communicates very well, and encourages me every step of way. Learning to drive and going for your driver’s license is already stressful; having experienced professionals who will help ease the stress and helps you gain the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to make that a success, is in my opinion a blessing. If you are a new driver who is determined to pass your road test, i will highly recommend this driving school to you. I had Christina as my instructor and she helped me learn all the maneuvers required to pass my test and guess what i did pass on my first try. Melissa, the lady at the front desk is also one of the nicest people ever. She has loads of patience. She is gonna remind you a day before your practice with their driving school. She will tell you the documents you will need to have on your day of the road test. I am forever grateful.

She has great communication and would regularly call if they had any availability. The instructors are good in particular Christina who is very professional, direct and explains driving in a very logical way. Diane is a burst of positive energy and encourages you to do better. Great school, worth the money. They help me tremendously with passing my learners permitt test as well as passing my drivers test in one attempt. Driving instructor is great, diana is great in teaching you how to drive one step at a time with no pressure. The classes are pretty solid the teacher is great with instructing lessons in terms of learning rules of the road, learning what to do in different scenarios and learning the different types road signs and cross roads. either way I do strongly recommend you try this school you won't be disappointed and that I hope that this review ends up being useful to whoever comes across it 👍

I took like 6-7 classes with them and they are very nice and very thorough. I recommend this school to all whom need professional classes. I had Diane and Christine who really helped me get over my nerves and fears about driving. Melissa is super nice and even if she wasn’t teaching me how to drive, she helped me with my confidence too. They also take you through every aspect of the test so you aren’t as nervous and are fully prepared when the day comes. My sister had taken driving lessons with Diane at Atlas Driving a few years ago and recommended this place to me. I loved the flexibility of the lessons in regards to times/days because it made it extremely easy to fit lessons around my crazy schedule. There's also the option of getting picked up and dropped off at your house which was a huge help to me. I'm sure all of the driving instructors are great, but Diane was so wonderful! I felt super comfortable with her and she always had good feedback and tips. I would recommend Atlas Driving and Diane to everyone who is looking for a great driving school at an affordable price. I failed my road test on my 1st try elsewhere and decided to go to Atlas Driving School for my 2nd try (I passed my test☺). The staff member Melissa and instructor Christina were very professional, patient and respectful. They were with me from start to finish of getting my license. My instructor was honest with my assessment, if you are not ready they will let you know. I highly recommend them, especially if you're nervous about driving. Overall experience was great👍👌

I had 0 driving experience before coming to the school and I passed in very first road test. Let me tell, in the very beginning, Mellissa who Manages everything and Diane my instructor for most of the time are outstanding professionals and human beings. Take 1 class with Diane and she will give you so much confidence that you can take test very next day. She has patience and a real skill to teach you how to drive. Mellissa is very accommodating and helps you schedule class at ease. Florian who is owner is an amazing classroom instructor. Makes 4 hours go like anything with his sense of humor. I do have 1 bad experience but I am still giving 5 stars, because the school compensated for that experience. There is one female instructor, I will not name her, she is very rude and pessimistic person. I will say driving with her is like having a car accident, you will remember all your mistakes but it will scar your memory and lower your confidence. Overall a nice place and nice people.

She’s awesome and so relaxed when it comes to newbies driving. She had more confidence in me than I did for myself when it came to driving. This was my first time seeking professional help to improve my driving skills. I really needed help to understand the test site area of Wethersfield and to understand where I was, skill-wise, in a matter of a few days before my driving test. The staff was accommodating and prompt in helping me to schedule driving lessons the day before and the day of my driving test. What I really appreciated from my driving instructor, Christina, was the repetition and not allowing fixation on any one skill or setback we practiced everything from K-Turn, reverse parking techniques, left turns, lane changes and also tricky spots which included what to do at Yield signs and at 4 Way Stops. In fact, if it were not for Christina having had me drive on a residential street with two, one way streets and to understand its layout, I would not have known the layout of exactly the place where I performed my K-Turn! Believe me, a lot can be accomplished in 1-2 hours. If you are not sure of something, you will receive the needed feedback and you will definitely perform it. I passed my driving test due to the driving lessons that I received and the thorough knowledge of the instructor of not only the most common test areas but also those areas that may pose a critical skill challenge to a nervous, new driver. My recommendation is to schedule lessons a few weeks before and the week of your test if at all possible. The knowledge you receive will be absolutely practical and exactly what you need to pass your test. New driver, you can do this. I highly recommend the staff of Atlas Driving School.

Diane was very easy-going and it was clear that she really wants her students to succeed. I have no complaints and I would definitely recommended this school to any new drivers!

Saying this driving school is Amazing is an understatement. My dad recommended them to me and from my first point of contact with them, I was greeted with respect, a welcoming tone and a positive energy. They are honest and willing to work with you in order for you to improve on your driving skills and to be fully prepared for your road test. I was home trained by my dad and did 2 AMAZING hours with THE PHENOMENAL Diane. She's funny which helps to keep you calm and reduces your anxiety while you've behind the wheel. But she's also focused and let's you know when you can improve on something and show's you how to improve on it. The lessons from my dad and her being a professional paired together has made me a great, safe and relaxed driver. I must give my respects to the staff Melissa and the male staff (sorry I forgot his name). They made me feel welcomed, comfortable and even made themselves accessible to answer any questions I had and would even call me, leave voicemails to keep me updated with my appointment etc. I only took the 2 hr driving practice with them but I felt like I became a part of the Atlas Family in such a short time frame and I miss them already. I drive by their location often since I live in the area and I am often tempted to stop in just to say hello and thank them a million time for all they have done to prepare me for my road test. This will be my vitural THANK YOU for now. Thankfully, I passed my test today! I unexpectedly saw Diane with another student before my road test at the DMV and she reminded me to stay calm, breathe and do my test as if I was practicing what I have learned from her and my dad. That definetely helped me to remain confident. Both of us passed! There are many driving schools out there, and it can be overwhelming when trying to choose the right one. I'm here to not only give a good review but to also mention the fact that this driving school genuinely cares about you as a person, cares about the safety of you on the road, they treat you with respect, don't belittle you or the way you drive. Instead, they believe in you and they are there to assist you every step of the way. You're not just another student, number or $$$ in their pocket, and I'm glad that I was able to experience their driving school. I'm truly grateful for the entire team over at Atlas. My father & sis have heard me talk about how great they are so many times, especially Diane. I will carry her tips, tricks and suggestions into my future as I am now a Licensed Driver!!

This driving school is by far the best one I have been to. After struggling with learning how to drive on and off for years, I was able to pass my road test on the first try today thanks to Diane! She was beyond helpful and supportive of me even when I didn’t have faith in myself a lot of times and not to mention, patient. The school itself is great. Melissa is so nice and great at her job, always willing to work around my busy retail schedule and always had a positive attitude. My experience with Atlas Driving School has been amazing and I'm glad I ended up going here! I had my test today and passed thanks to everything I learned at the school! Melissa, the woman at the front desk was very patient, understanding, and helpful when it came to my schedule and finding the time to drive. The owner, also the one who provides the classroom instruction is very hands on learning and will help you know everything you need to know form the CT Drivers manual. Lastly my driving instructors, the two that I had the most experience with were Diane and Christina, both of them will work with you if you are very nervous about driving, if you are nervous they won't go hard on you, but they will work to help you manage your nerves and feel more comfortable behind the wheel and when you are ready they will tell you! If you go here try to see if you can drive with either of these great instructors! Overall Atlas Driving School has helped me feel better about driving, and helped with my confidence for my road test :)

It was super easy to make the appointment, I was scheduled right away for a close time. Mr.s D (Diana) was an amazing instructor! She was so helpful right from the time I arrived at the school. During the 2 hrs we practiced lane changes , K turns and parking and she was so observant and made me feel comfortable driving. This is the best driving school I've been to and I've been to 2 others lol, I definitely recommend it!

Highly recommend this driving school! I did my 8 hour drug and alcohol course here, as well as a few driving classes. Which had me fully prepared for the actual driving test. The staff were very friendly and informative and always encouraged me to ask questions. They helped me through every step of the way and helped me build my confidence as a driver. I took the 8-hour "safe driving practices" course and Florian, the General Manager, taught the course with a great deal of knowledge, experience, and humour, which made the classes surprisingly enjoyable, especially considering that they were at 8:00am on Saturday mornings. Meliska in the front office was also friendly and very efficient which made registering, scheduling, and sorting out my paperwork a snap.

I failed my first attempt at the road test because I was taking training from a private instructor and literally was getting trained to be a dangerous driver. I decided to enroll for behind the wheel classes with Atlas Driving School for my next test. Melissa was super helpful in creating my schedule and making me aware of payment and timings. Diane and Florencio were my instructors - each with a different style. Diane helped me perfect my parking and Florencio made me aware of all the toughest driving situations like weird one ways, islands, lane change etc. I took my driving test this morning and passed ! I didn’t even have to correct my parking, it was so perfect!! I recommend Atlas Driving to anyone who wants to learn to be a good driver!! Plus point - both the instructors are amazing conversationalists. You will get the best bang for your buck at Atlas.

Atlas is the best I came here one time before for an hour driving lesson this is the first school I went to and they showed me how to do everything how to turn to reverse parking I thought I couldn’t get it but recently I came back and my instructor Mrs. G had so much confidence in me she was like you got this and I was about to ride with Ms Christiana where she calmed my nerves and we went over a few things again right before my test. From start to finish this school is hands down the best I never got the woman’s name that called me but she was nothing but polite and helpful she even called to congratulate me on getting my license and this was first time going for my license so if you want your and there’s no one to teach you at home or need some cleaning up to do come here it’s totally worth it. It was a great experience working with Atlas Driving school! The staff is very friendly especially Melissa who worked with me to schedule driving practices and everything! One of the great thing is that they pick you and drop you off at your house for the driving practices!
