Quick, simple, friendly place. First come first serve, no appointment necessary. We tested within 45 minutes of arrival, mid-morning on a Friday. You can use their car or yours, they take cash or credit card payments. Took my kid to do road test here. The instructor lady was friendly, approachable, kind and reasonable. She made my kid feel very comfortable & safe during the testing process.

The Staff was very friendly and courteous. I literally showed up with the proper documentation, got my written exam for $25, completed and was walking back out the door in less than 30 minutes 🙃, WOW NOW THATS FAST!! Not a place I expected to be but when you have to take a driver's road test to acquire your license, this is where you go. Folks it's all about the money. You have it and doors open for you. No appointment needed but you may have to wait a few.

This review is based off of the written permit test my little brother took. The service was quick and easy. The lady that helped us was nice. The other lady didn't look all too friendly. The other 2 in there that looked like the owners were cool as well. More of a real down to earth people that doesn't sugar coat things when they talk or grade you so maybe that's why people are not liking it.

Doreen was very nice and super helpful. Before coming here I saw a lot of mixed reviews but this place is awesome I passed first time and she gave me advice. The front counter was also super friendly and had me sit down to take the test in only 5 minutes. If you see bad reviews it’s probably people mad they didn’t pass. But definitely a recommendation to come here.

I'm not usually one for posting online reviews, but my experience with Western Slope Driving School was so good today that I thought I should throw ‘em a few stars... The wait for a driving test at the DMV to reinstate my license is ridiculous; 3 weeks for a 15 minute test. So, I looked up driving schools that are state-accredited on the DMV site & found Western Slope, which is pretty close to my work. There were quite a few negative reviews on Google, but I figured those were probably just from bad drivers who failed their tests because they’re bad drivers. Aaaaand that seems to be the case! My personal experience was super easy & quick, in and out in a half hour or so. Mike gave me my test & was very friendly...dinged me on a couple of not-checking-my-blind-spots, but those were my fault anyways...still passed with a B. Great place to get a driver’s test if you need one, & the cheapest one I found after calling 3 or 4 other places. 2 thumbs up!

I took my son in on his 16th Birthday to get his driver's license and we were met with smiles and encouragement from the staff. Step by step instructions and even some follow up review after my son passed his driver's test. I would highly recommend the Western Slope Driving Institute! By the way....the DMV is right next door!!
