Great service Pretty smooth from start to end, the instructor is a pro teaches very well and is kind person. Whatsoever doubt you have ask him he will resolve it. Examiner is very kind too Lastly, the cars the cars are in great condition everything on them works. If you are first timer or returning driver just want to practise and get the thing this is the right place. Highly recommended!!

I struggled for years with pretty bad driving anxiety and didn't think I'd ever master driving, but the instructors at driven2drive were really helpful with building my confidence, giving really concise feedback, and clear instruction. And also! the instructors have their own breaks on the passenger side of the cars so they can catch any dangerous mistakes and stop things from going crazy. They simplify intimidating things like parallel parking into easy steps that make them so much easier to tackle. I had 2 lessons and passed my test on the first try. I highly recommend them for anyone thats new to driving or even someone that just wants to feel more confident about their skills.

Great place, good people. I paid for Day of Test - practice and test service. The instructor was a great guy and gave me some tips, pointers and really helped me out. The test was basically everything he showed me and I passed easily in the Mini Cooper. If you need to test quickly, I recommend doing it here, rather than waiting for weeks to get an appointment at the DMV.

I highly recommend this driving school to anybody that is willing to learn how to drive. Although some of the packages are a bit high. I had a good experience with driven2drive overall. They gave me the confidence I needed to succeed and with each lesson I took, I felt like I learned something new and different that I could use for the rest of my life. I passed my road test on the FIRST try after having only two lessons. I wish I remember the instructor name I had today but he was very cool and made me feel comfortable. He didn't even tell me I was taking the road test when I started until after I was done then congratulated me. They really prepare you at this place and I hope this office grows in size and with satisfied customers. Thank you D2D for your service!! Also I got my camera card from Penndot super quick. It came in a few days later after my road test 🔥

Driven2Drive is amazing, definitely highly recommend the driving lessons here. I purchased the package of 20 hours (10 classes) and passed the test after my 10th class. All instructors I had were amazing. Armani is very attentive to details, his instructions were helpful and clear, great guy, I am really grateful for his guidance and easy parallel parking tips. Simon, T and Patricia are also very nice and helpful. Love Sara at the front desk. This place is professional and warm, very pleased with my experience.

I found out about Driven2drive while looking for driving schools in my area. I was thankful to come across this amazing school. My instructor was absolutely amazing and he helped me over come my anxiety of taking my drivers exam. I’m so happy I found this school and I have to say if anyone wants to learn how to be a good driver this is the school for you. Their goal is actually to help people become great drivers. Best decision I ever made.

I took my 3 lessons here plus the road test, it was the best ever. Imagine a place with great customer service even when they are closed. Shoutout to Mrs Cedra my instructor and Mrs Sarah. In fact shoutout to everyone that works here, They really responded to all my emails. Mrs Cedra was patient with me and also was on time to the pick up location. I will never forget “Smog”. She told me I got it and believed in me. I can’t even believe that I drove in philly at night. This is the best place to learn and take your test. They also provide the Mini Cooper you will use

One of the few places in the area you can get your license aside from the DMV. The packages are a bit pricey. The 2 hour practice drive is super helpful before taking the test - they let you know what they’ll look for during the test. They’re particular about certain things - not going more than five over the speed limit, can’t have tires on the lines during the parallel parking section, etc. I’d also be prepared to have to learn the controls to a new vehicle- the cars they use have a weird gear shift and buttons.

I got the premium package in July and had to wait about a month to start my 3 lessons. This school was great, I went from a nervous driver to a confident one and passed my road test at the school on the first try. Each of the instructors have different styles but they are all helpful and will improve your driving skills. Would recommend!

They are great at teaching they made me feel so comfortable on the road. Every instructor I came in contact with was so nice and gave me great pointers to help pass the test. For the most part it was a great experience...just the scheduling wasn’t the best but they made sure to work with me to get plenty of practice to make sure I was ready to finally get my license

I took my lessons at the Oak location(recommend this one, you get to drive a Tesla). Only needed two lessons and passed my drivers test with ease. Overall the experience was helpful and got rid of a lot of my nerves and anxiety behind the wheel. The instructors give you a lot of tips and techniques for you to improve on and are very professional.

They are the best in the area. Staffs are very friendly and very professional. Instructors are extremely nice, helpful, and well experienced drivers. Scheduling the appointments for the lessons and the road test was super easy. They are extremely flexible with scheduling and the locations. I was able to reschedule one of my lesson just with one phone call. I did 3 lessons and the road test right after the last lesson. I highly recommend this place.

I’m an experienced (10 years) driver with a license from Ireland meaning I had to take a test. Thanasis my instructor was great, highlighting all the things that I needed to remember and his calm demeanour would be great for new drivers. Would definitely recommend!

I just passed my driving test today (Hybrid plan) at the Bala Cynwyd branch. Chris was the instructor who made the experience as pleasant as he could. I was a bit worried about the parallel parking, but Chris gave me tips on how to nail it. Overall, it was a stress free day driving and testing. Recommended!

Today I took my 30min refresh class and then the driving test. The school was very easy to locate and very nice. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. Sara at the front desk and my instructor Manny ( Emanuel) were great at their job. Manny was detailed in all of his explanations during the driving class and he answered all my questions. He provided a good class about driving safely.His way of teaching really made me feel confident and I was ready for my test. I suggest this school to anyone who is looking for a professional setting, they really provide an excellent service.

My recommendation would be to request either Jon and/or Sophie. I had the best experiences with these instructors. They were both, friendly and professional. Jon's temperament was one that made you feel at ease and comfortable behind the wheel. He was great at helping to calm my nerves. Sophie helped a lot with helping me to gain confidence as a driver. He was patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, and made me confident in the techniques that he taught me. I passed my exam on site first try. Took my road test with them yesterday 7/31/19 and I had a wonderful experience. The instructor was really nice and professional, he answered all of my questions and made sure that I felt comfortable before starting the test. I really felt that they care for you to pass as long as you know your stuff and you do everything right! Highly recommend them!

Thank you, listed in order of appearance: Sarah, Brian, Tony, Athanassios and the reservations clerk that scheduled my test and revised my remaining lessons (I'm sorry I can't remember your name!) Sarah made a reassuring first impression on my first call. She took the time to plan out a consistent day/date across my ten weeks, answered my questions and I hung up having a good feeling. Brian, my main instructor, was great at coaching my confidence levels as I learned to control my muscles while simultaneously taking in so much information. Tony, my second instructor, introduced control consistency and unraveled some of my bad memories about cars. Athanassios took over from there, helping me understand the physicality of the car, what good movements feel like, while also keeping complete awareness of my surroundings. Over the next few lessons he guided me through nearly every possible road type, traffic event, and human behavior that Greater Philadelphia has to offer. After another lesson with Brian, he felt I was ready for my test. AND I WAS!!!! My last two lessons were Manual Transmission with Athanassios-- it's intense! It was fun, but I'm no Hamilton, so let me get Automatic down.

I had an amazing experience. I went for a 2 hour practice and driving test package. The instructor was nice and taught me stuff I should be keeping in mind while driving. The actual test was a breeze since he let me practice for an hour or so on parallel parking and the actual test route. Would recommend this highly as 1. You learn how to drive properly. 2. Driving test slots are readily available as opposed to months of wait time at DMV 3. They are pretty friendly and professional

All I have to say is driven to drive is amazing. They were great with my Son. The driving instructor Matthew M was great. From my conversations with my son, not only did he instruct him on proper driving on the road but he taught him basic knowledge as well which was great instruction for him. I would highly recommend Driven to Drive. Everyone was professional on the phone and Sara was great and patient with me when i called 100 times 😂 to get what my son needed and fitting the classes in my budget. My son is now a licensed driver on the first try and happy to be a safe driver with loads of knowledge.

Amazing experience and I couldn’t be happier. I’m 21 and I’ve had people driving me around forever, so I said no more and decided to pay the money based on the reviews. I can firmly say it was the best money I’ve ever spent. I had a 2 hour driving lesson with Brian and I took the test 2 days later with the 30 min refresher with Matt. They’re both such great guys and made me so comfortable. My whole issue at the DMV was getting in the car with a complete stranger and the stress destroyed my nerves, which made me fail. The instructors here are so friendly it’s hard to be to stressed, and Matt was actually encouraging me the whole drive. Absolutely a phenomenal business they have here and I finally have the freedom I’ve been waiting years for. I can’t recommend it enough.

Absolutely 100% positive experience. My daughter had a two hour lesson with Allison and a test with Brian? (examiner n0004). Wonderful, wonderful people. We traveled almost 100 miles to go here because of the positive online reviews and would do it again in a heartbeat. She was able to get accustomed to the car and feel very comfortable with the vehicle and associate before taking the test. They totally relieved her anxiety from the start and allowed her to be relaxed and perform as well as she could.

I took the Day of Test - Turbo package which includes a 30 minute prep. The instructor asked what I wanted to focus on which happened to be parking. She was nice, gave me really useful tips, plenty of time to practice made and me feel very comfortable. Once I got the hang of it we went on the road to prep and I was given pointers afterwards to improve. The actual road test was shorter than the prep (no complaints!). Everything was easy, enjoyable, and fast (came in at 10 left at 11)! I'd definitely recommend, worth the price.

My teacher and instructor was Duy great guy, he made sure I was confident before starting the road test and gave me some great tips that solidified my driving skills. Driven2Drive got me an appointment within the week. The staff is incredibly kind and encouraging. I felt so comfortable. I passed with no issues ! Amazing experience! I am so happy that this service was available for me when I needed to get my driver's license. I moved to the US a few months ago and just started my job search after receiving my work permit. I couldn't afford to wait 5/6 months to do a test at the DMV. Thankfully I discovered that Driven2Drive is involved in a pilot project to allow private companies to administer the test. I phoned the company to organize a few refresher lessons and a test. I found the rates to be very reasonable. The person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and professional. I booked 3 lessons of 2 hours each for the next week. The instructor came each day to my house on time and was very patient and relaxed with me while I drove, giving me advice in a gentle manner whenever I needed it. After the 3rd lesson we had the test. I did not have to wait long for an examiner to arrive. The examiner was polite and professional and the test went smoothly. I managed to get my license just one week after my initial phone call, as opposed to what would have been months if I had gone the DMV route. Thanks D2D!

My experience with the instructors themselves was great. Craig at Bala Cynwyd was a great teacher, as was the gentleman (whose name I’m blanking on) I did my final lesson and test with at the Oaks location. There was a mishap in scheduling, where my road test was never actually scheduled, when I thought I was taking it after my second lesson at Bala Cynwyd. Turns out that location no longer does testing at all, so I had to rearrange my schedule and drive an hour away to the Oaks location for my second lesson and test. I passed though and had a positive experience during my lessons. Due to COVID the test was modified so that there was no instructor inside the car. He stood outside as we worked in the parking lot. I appreciated this, but the receptionist wasn’t wearing a mask and the car wasn’t sanitized in between students.

I would highly recommend this place! I'm 32 and was terrified of driving because my anxiety always gets the best of me. Just want to say this place did a great job and is as advertised!! I paid the 175 for the refresher course for my son and it was well worth it. My son was nervous but Ronit did a great job calming him down. Those were my son's exact words. While I was a nervous wreck myself Sharon inside did a great job with me also!! I definitely recommend this place to anyone. Also they let you use their mini Cooper for the test! Great job guys. See you again in a couple of months for my next kid.

Excellent experience and totally worth the money. I only took the test here but I would recommend taking the refresher lesson for those who have driven abroad. You can get the test booked much sooner than DMV, within few days of having your learner permit. They are very friendly over the phone and in person. Kudos to Ronit, she is an amazing instructor, very patient, fair, kind, and understands that even for an experienced driver, this test can create some stress. She was very thorough in explaining the test and gave clear instructions during the test. They deliver the test to high standards so be well prepared. I recommend them highly.

Definitely recommend this facility to take your drivers exam, and if your aren’t going to take driving lessons with this particular school, I highly suggest doing the 30 min refresher before the exam! I took my test here this week and was blown away by my entire experience. Scheduling my test was very smooth and the staff answered all of my questions and were very accommodating to my schedule (which ammitedly can be very hectic). When I arrived on test day I was greeted with smiles all around. Their waiting area is simply beautiful, you can clearly see the thought and care that they put into it. I got there a little early and was able to relax and ease my nerves before taking my test. The reason I’m leaving this review is bc as I was waiting the owners stopped in to celebrate one of the instructors birthdays with the rest of the staff. They all had a blast in each other’s company catching up, laughing and just enjoying themselves. The owner was so sweet and she offered all of us waiting to join them too. You could tell they love what they do and working together. I felt like I wanted to be a part of that. My examiner was very thorough, and very encouraging, I passed my test! I would not hesitate to recommend Driven2Drive to anyone.

Excellent service. I went in today for my road test and passed on the first try. Despite my hesitance of doing the test with a third-party provider, this company was fair and efficient handling my test. Highly recommend giving them a shot. Also, the Bala Cynwyd area makes for a great testing location, at least during the week. Little traffic and lots of signage to guide the way.

I’ve been struggling to get my license for the past year. I’ve been to three different driving schools. None of treated me with respect or patience. I passed here on the first try and I almost cried because I didn’t think I would pass. I was told I was a horrible driver in the past. I recommend 100% to anyone skeptical about coming. The driving lessons and tests are so fast and easy (much much faster than penndot) .The instructors only want to see you do great and that’s the truth!

I learned so much here! My mom paid for my lesson because she didn’t have the patience to teach me and before coming here I was skeptical but I am so happy she got me these lessons. I learned so much and my instructor Matthew.M was amazing! Super kind and patient. He taught me to park and taught me everything there is to know about driving on the road. I think these lessons would be an amazing gift for anyone with a permit who wants to get their license. I got my license here after just one lesson. 10/10 recommended.

Let me start with this, Sophie is awsomeeeee!!!! I had their DAY OF THE TEST package which was really helpful if you are not familiar with Mini Cooper. They let you practice before the actual test and let you know what can be improved. DO PICK THE PACKAGE if you haven't taken classes with them or not familiar with their cars. Very helpful indeed!! Sophie is my test administrator. Thanks to her tips on parallel parking which really helped me a lot. Her being wonderfully kind and showing the understanding for new drivers took my pressure off and made me more confident about driving. Thank you Sophie, you are the best! And my best wishes for your school stuff!! Overall, I'm very glad I found this place online, professional staff and great experience!!

Highly recommend!! Other DMVs told me the earliest I could take my road test was in May, 6 months from now. Driven 2 Drive got me in the same week I called and the service was incredible. I just recently took my road test here the friday before last. I was able to schedule my driving test within the same week I called. The schedule is VERY flexible. Much better than any dmv. The people here are friendly, and have great customer service. My driving instructor was Edward. I felt really comfortable with him. It felt like an actual human being was in the car lol! I'm usually extremely nervous on ANY test so the fact that I am able to say I was comfortable at all speaks volumes. Worth the money. Considering sending my kids here for diving classes when they're old enough. I definitely recommend this school to anyone who doesn't want to go through the hassle of scheduling through the dmv. Very pleased with the caring and positive attitude of all the staff working here, all the way from the man at the front desk to the examiner. They want you to succeed!! The examiners' (Duy) instructions were crisp and clear. Got done with the test within 20 minutes in the peaceful residential neighborhood. Got the temporary license after the test. Have recommended this place to friends and family!!

The constructive criticism given was very helpful and and was immediately applicable to my driving style. The staff is very kind and attentive! It started off rocky because my anxiety was through the roof and I just didn't click too well with one instructor. BUT my second session was amazing. Scott was an amazing instructor. If you could ask for someone, I definitely recommend him. He made me comfortable and was very informative. I had Sarah for my actual driving test and she was so kind the whole time. Didnt make me feel nervous in anyway. So Scott and Sarah both get a 10 out of 10 for me. Thank you for helping me get over my fear of being in a car and driving.

Amazing Driving School to take your driving exam. I went through another driving school and took my test at a Penndot and unfortunately I failed on my first try. I immediately called Driven2Drive to get another testing date and shockingly I was able to get another date within a week. Soon as I got there I was greeted with great hospitality and I wasn't even nervous with the instructor so glad I picked them to take my test with. Very quick route. There really is no line or wait (although they have a rlly nice lobby) and the receptionist was super warm. This place is awesome! Everyone is very kind and friendly. (Example: Edward gave a cold drink to the mailman who dropped off mail for driven2drive when I was there) I failed my drivers test at the DMV because I did not properly understand the testers' instructions. At driven2drive, I did the turbo package which included a 30 minute practice with a man named Edward. He gave clear instructions and helped me get used to the controls in the Mini Cooper as well as getting used to the way the Mini Cooper drives. After practicing parallel parking and driving around the neighborhood with Edward, I was ready to take my test. I took my test and passed!!! I definitely recommend the 30 minute practice. The test was almost identical to the practice. Overall very impressed with this place. I told everyone I know who needs driving practice or needs to take the drivers test to come here!

I just received my license from driven 2 drive a few days ago. Overall my experience was really good. I experienced a few hiccups with miscommunication. But my goal was to get my license and that’s what happened. So I don’t have anything bad to say. My instructor was Ms. Sidra (not sure if that’s spelled correct) she was AMAZING! I truly appreciate how calm she made the environment and the experience for me because I had so much anxiety. This is the perfect place to go and get your license it’s a lot smoother than PENNDOT.

The driving test portion of my experience was great helped calm my anxiety and I felt comfortable. My problem was the instructor for my driving course...He was super unprofessional, late, came out didn't introduce himself, didn't ask me any questions about my driving experience or anything. We got out into the car where he proceeded to tell me he normally didn't use this car and wasn't familiar with it or the controls, so we wasted about 10 minutes of my course figuring out the controls together. We practiced parallel parking and I was rushed threw it when that's really the only thing I have a problem with. Out on the road there was barely and instruction other then turn left or turn right, no tips, no tricks, no critique. He was using his cellphone while I was driving and not paying attention to the road. I could't imagine what it would have been like if I had never driven a car before. If you need to take your test this is a great place to do it but if you need to be taught how to drive I would not recommend it maybe with a different instructor. I asked for a refund and they gave me $25 of my $100 back which helps me none. Update: A few days following my experience I was offered another driving course to show me what they have to offer, and they exceeded my expectations the second time around. I genuinely felt I was being taken care of this time, I was given the service I expected the first time around. I was taught the laws of the road & also taught how to ace my lisence test. Like I said the first time I genuinely believe this is a better option then a DMV to take your road test if you have test anxiety or even an issue with a proper vehicle to take your test in. I’m assuming it was just the instructor the first time, not the business. Hopefully he will be retrained so this doesn’t happen in the future.

Could not be happier with the service that I got from this place. I'm 25 and my license was soemthing that haunted me for some time, as it's always been something that I've wanted but never achieved. I went to the DMV and got nervous and failed, but I knew how to drive, just needed someone to pay attention and clean some things up. Payed for a 2 hour class before I took the test and it was one of the best decisions I could make. Instructor took me out to the car and trained me on what they would be looking for, and after a few test runs around the block he said I was ready. I passed on my first try! 2/26/2019 This is an update to a previous review. I agree with other reviewers that this place is not consistent. Sometimes the service is very helpful and professional, and others, the person on the phone should be fired. So far, we have had two lessons. The first lesson the instructor talked about guns the whole time, so not a good experience. The second lesson was fine, and we have a third scheduled. Will update after taking test and done with their service.

Excellent experience from initial phone call to test and well worth the $75 fee. I am an experienced foreign driver and needed to get my PA license. Driven2Drive (Abby) was able to fit me in three days from time of learner's permit issuance. The shopfront is small with a comfortable seating area, with the staff putting you at ease. The test is taken in a Mini Cooper, which is very fun. Abby administered my test in a fair and thorough way, giving clear instructions about what was expected. I would highly recommend Driven2Drive over the DMV for service, friendly attitude of staff and testers, the lack of need to provide your own car with insurance and availability of test appointments. Kudos too to the PA government for opening up testing to private companies - should be a model for many a government service.

My experience with the staff here has been pleasant and professional. I've had to reschedule my test several times due to things on my end. And every time i called someone answered the phone and helped me. I failed my 1st exam(I was speeding) but i passed the 2nd time!! The instructor was professional! Overall im satisfied. Needed to get my road test done quickly, and i didnt have the 3 months the dmv told me id have to wait. I called and made an appointment with driven2drive, i was scheduled a test within a week. My son was scheduled to take his driving test 4/13/18, however the hazard lights on my car get stuck and would not pass Penndot car check. I did not want to borrow a vehicle-from anyone. I googled hoping to find a business where we could rent a vehicle for this purpose alone. Honestly I did not know this service existed. I am happy it does. 4/20/18, We arrived at Driven2Drive-what a relaxing environment. As we waited, my son chatted it up with another teenager, I watched people playing pool. My son and I played pool. They called his name-I left waited in our car. For us, it was worth it, yes he passed 1st time. He is a very good teenage driver, 18yr old. Thank you for having this service!

Wow is all I can say! What an amazing service and why didn't this come along years ago? The folks at Driven2Drive were kind, patient, thoughtful, AVAILABLE, prompt, thorough, and STELLAR through and through. I can't say enough wonderful things about this group, who took an experience that was aggravating and frustrating and turned it into a positive milestone in my son's life. We had been going through the state and to try to acquire appointments to take the driver's license test: we would have to get up at 4 a.m. on Weds. only to try for the best possible option of time and locations. The best I could get was a month or two out in Schuykill Valley, PA - almost 2 hours away! And so I would have to take time off from work to accomplish this test for my kid. It was ridiculous. Many of the teenagers are flunked the first time anyway: they all concur that there are difficult personalities dealing with the state officials implementing the tests. I heard about Driven2Drive only through word of mouth. My guess is that since they are now allowed to offer this service through private agencies, it is very new. I was shocked that it was even available and asked a couple of times to make sure if this would result in a valid PA Driver's License. They were kind and assuring every step of the way. I even worked in extra lessons for parallel parking; one of the more difficult items for new drivers to master. They are truly PROS here, right down to the all new adorable Mini Coopers that they have the driver take the test in. This is a well thought out and implemented business, and I hope to see them succeed! Thank you so much, Driven2Drive!!!

Just enough time to go through the controls, a lap around the test route, and a few reverse parallel parks to get my confidence up, and I was good to go.
