I’ve had a long journey with 160 I started back in July 2022 they helped me all the way up into my test week which was the same week I had a bad car accident, which led me to being out a couple months. I returned in January 2023 & I’ve worked hard & studied hard since my return. I wanna thank all the instructors for taking their time with me and helping me but I want to shout out my favorite instructor who had me since day 1 & was their for me since my return back to 160 after my accident “MRS.DIANE”, they are by far some of the most genuine, funny, & helpful folks you will ever meet. THANK YOU 160!

160 driving academy there I had a wonderful experience the instructors on the yard is amazing storm with Casey ,fu, Diane ,Isaiah, Wendy and Greg really demonstrate and teachers their students how to drive in maneuver them 18 wheelers Miss fu taught me a lot as well as Diane taught me how to be calm Greg show me some steps to my offset while fu taught me straight back in the 90 alley dock. Isaiah taught me precision and right set up positioning is the key to every maneuver thank you

I really enjoyed my experience with 160 I can truly say all my instructors took the time out to really make sure we were prepared for our test. If you trust the process they have in play there is no way you want get your cdls. If you wanna be a driver I would highly recommend this school.

My experience at 160 was great. There were other students there who complained all day but when quizzed on their pre trips they didn’t do well. Every morning my instructors had us doing pretrips before maneuvers. When I was struggling with learning anything my instructors broke it down to a way I could learn better. I comprehended everything I learned and so did my group that started with me, and on July 30, 2022 myself and 5 other individuals were One and Done. Thanks to all my instructors: Isaiah, Kevin, Casey, Mrs.Diane, Foo, and Greg.

I had a great experience with this academy. I walked in knowing how to move a hostler (smaller 18 wheeler) but they took the time and patience to ensure that I knew how to move the bigger truck. They helped with any questions I had about obtaining my license and submitting my MEC. I would highly recommend 160 to anyone wanting to get their license. To any future students all I have to say is: listen to what they are telling you to do. They want you to pass. Thank you.

If you’re looking into getting your CDLs you should most definitely consider them! They have some of the best instructors in the world. If you don’t understand, they take time to help you until you get it. I just passed my CDL test this past Saturday on my first try. I LOVED it there.

It was a great experience and the instructors there were very straightforward on the information given. As a student, staying focused and not forgetting why you started, will definitely get you your CDL. The professionalism could be improved in some areas with a few of the people there, but overall, it is a great place to attend to get your training for your CDL. Would definitely recommend but only to focused individuals.

Awesome place to learn to drive. Mr Thomas, Brone and Tim are great. Brone worked with me for a week teaching me to back up and then Mr Thomas taught me the offset and I learned that pretty quickly lastly Tim had me doing the 90 degree in no time at all. I went to do my road test and passed the first time. I surely appreciate you guys for all if your hard work. I AM OFFICIALLY A TRUCK DRIVER...

This schooling I highly recommend i passed my cdl course today & received my one & done hat, the hat itself feels like a trophy i look at it like a reward that’s why I strived hard studied all the way up to me receiving it.The instructors are 100% on the money when it comes to caring and teaching their students, Mr.Isaiah, Cassey, & greg are the 3 instructors to make it happen for me.From Mr.Isaiah being on me about my pre trips to Greg working with me on my offset & to Cassey helping me on my 90 all the learning methods from each instructor was took in from me to help me successfully pass they teach you everything you will go through on the actual test literally I want to thank you guys so much I will be back to visit real soon

Best school ever the teachers are top notch in Birmingham if you can't drive you aren't testing, Amber Purvis was in my class she was stoned the whole time, that why she is mad they won't pass a driver who is high the whole time..lol

I went to 160 Driving Academy to get my CDL and passed the test on the first try. 160 gives you all the tools necessary to be successful if you just put the time in to study and practice your skills. Shout out to Mrs. Diane who really went the extra mile and came in early and stayed late to ensure I was prepared for my test date. Also the yard lead Casey, as he went out of his way on several occasions to help me better understand my maneuvers. Check out 160 if you are interested in acquiring a commercial drivers license.
