Extremely pleased with CFI truck driving school. The instructors are very knowledgeable and down to earth. I enjoyed my time being a student there. The 1 on 1 classes were extremely helpful after my 6 week course I easily passed the CDL A test on the first try. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get their CDL!

Kevin and his crew are great, they put me in the right direction to get my CDL class A. They showed me how to do and what to do and of course you have to do your part with the extra effort and homework, today l passed all my tests first try and got my license. I'm very pleased with CFI School as a whole. The school charges half the price of most schools in the area, Instructors are very patient, and they teach on a One student to One instructor ratio. Furthermore, kevin is the best of the best when it comes to teaching. He worked with me all the way until I passed my cdl A. thank you Kevin. CFI is the only place in baltimore to obtain your CDL A. The one on one training is unmatched and Ciara will get you right in order to pass your CDL test on the FIRST try. She is patient, well reversed and an excellent instructor. Definitely recommend! I really appreciate the time and attention that my instructor Ciara gave me with the ins and out when it came to really learning how to maneuver that rid.at first I was a bit nervous about learning to drice a semi . I must say hell yeah I'm impressed great job.

I have a full time job and a business to run. CFIs flexible schedule allowed me to get my CDL A license in under 3 months from starting the school. Ciara does a good job communicating the information from MVA CDL test guide, which is the exact test you will see on test day, into something that will help you pass your test the first time. She points out areas that the examiners will fail you on which is very important for any CDL student to know. Additionally, the lower cost of the school made it a no brainer for me to add such a critical money making skill(CDL License) to my resume. I appreciate Kevin and the entire school for helping to get me to the finish line and passing my CDL test.

I normally don't leave reviews. After my 6 weeks at CFI, I have to this time. Apply yourself and take it serious or you don't belong in a trucc on the road anyway. Great experience with management down to trainer's. Kevin worked with my awkward schedule with no problems. Never hassled me for payment and each trainer takes you as a personal case. Credit to Justin being on top of my double clutching and the motivation. Ciara, the pre-trip specialist made sure I knew the entire pre-trip with no slipping. Taking my calls in the early morning hours and even late night to help me study. She was more excited then me at my test. Her energy was great each day, ready. I can't thank her and the entire CFI enough. Well worth the low price and exceeded my expectations. Bonus... Good carry out in walking distance

Man let me tell y’all CFI CDL Training is the place to be. My training was 6 weeks in total. Mr. Kevin the training manager was very accommodating. Special shout-out for Ciara she went above and beyond to help me get my pre-trip down pack. After trying several weeks on my own to to understand the pre-trip I was able to learn the entire pre-trip in just 3 days. Thanks you to the entire CFI training staff !!!!!!!!

I am proud to say that I obtained my CDL license at CFI. My experience was good knowing that the staff had patience, and was determined to see my success. I was so nervous spending hours studying the Pre - Trip only to find it much easier with a staff member name CIARA who took the time out to answer many of my questions at numerous times. Thanks to Gary and Paul I got my CDL in the first go around. I enjoyed my time and learning from each of the instructors. They are known and busy so scheduling will be an issue and at times I had to wait for week or more to get a class but I was okay with it (your situation be different). I definitely like the way of teaching it’s not your formal training more so old school kinda training in which Gary will even talk to you in a higher tone but hey it’s works for me so I don’t mind. They are there to work with you at your own pace and make sure you are fully ready before the test. Thanks Gary and Paul you guys rock!!!

I am very happy with my experience with CFI Truck Driving School. My instructor, Gary, is very friendly and genuinely wants his students to succeed. Flexible scheduling, one on one training, classes set to your individual pace. Gary made sure I not only knew everything I needed to pass the test, but we also went over lots of real-world situations and he gave me tips for life as a truck driver. The truck you practice in is the truck you take the test in. I looked at a couple other truck schools in the area, and this was clearly the best option. Great cost for what you get, easy scheduling, friendly instructor, able to get the course finished and licence quickly.

This is a great school school to go to if you are a fast or slow learner and have experience or not they will work with you 100% of the way and great for a person already with a job they will work with you at the pace that suits you. Hearing nothing but great things about this school, I decided to give them a try. Lot of different schools around DC Baltimore area (be aware and do your own research first))) Point for this school is their expirnce by preparing people for the road over 30+ years. Speaking with Jeff, I was convinced this would be perfect school for me ( Time and Price) He and instructors were very straightforward, highly motivated, PATIENT!!! The Classes were flexible with my schedule, very detailed and informative. Along with excellent and professional the behind the wheel training with Mr. Gary and Mr. Kevin, I was able to get my license easier and main thing SOONER than I had expected!!! What can I say, this guys are simply the best! I passed both my writing test and the final driving test from the first time. Getting CDL is not easy, I studied for three months very hard to pass right away. Don't think the driving school will take the test for you, they'll only teach you how to get it done the proper way!

I just finished up school at CFI and took and passed my test on the first try! Never been in a semi truck in my life prior to that. The guys at the school taught me everything and I highly recommend them. The trucks are a little older yes, but I never had any issues. Paul was my instructor most of the time and he was extremely patient and down to earth, I never felt pressured driving the truck with him. Greg went above and beyond making sure my schedule always worked and got me in whenever I needed it. The school will teach you to PASS THE TEST. Understand that that is what you’re paying for, they aren’t going to teach you the ins and outs of trucking, that’s not what they do. They teach you to pass it, and it’s 100% on you to commit, study and focus because the MVA test is NOT easy. You must study and take it serious. But my experience with them was totally great and I’m so glad I decided to do it. Paul, Gary, Greg, and Jemari, thank you guys for everything! It was a pleasure.

My experience at Mr. Gary's CFI CDL School exceeded my expectations. Mr. Gary is extremely nice and provide many useful tips, even after my first lesson I had already gained soo much confidence! If you want a best Class A truck trainer , Mr. Gary Boardwine is. If you want get training with flexible schedule, he is. If you want first day can do parallel parking, he'll let you can! He is a only one I know how to train in class A. Also, the tuition is much cheap than others around this area. I'm very happy I got my Class A license at May 4. Thanks Mr. Gary!

Gary will give you the tools needed to be successful in obtaining your CDL. Alls you need to do is study, pay attention and ask questions. The instructional classes are 1 on 1 so you will not feel abandoned or on your own. There are no guarantees other then your own motivation to learn and get your CDL. Gary can not take the test for you. I was very pleased with my training and Gary will work with any schedule so getting training is not an issue. I must say I found my training enjoyable and Gary made the process a easy learning experience. Very good school, individual training so if you know how to drive but need help with pre-trip they will focus your classes on that, or the opposite good with pre-trip more of your classes will be drive time.
