Alex is an amazing teacher! He taught my son to drive in 6 hours, he was patient, professional and his directional instructions were spot on. My son feels confident and capable and he is now practicing with me. He quizzed my son on various driving scenarios and since I rode along in the backseat, I picked up a few tips as well. I needed my daughter to take some real driving lessons, so I went online and based on the reviews I chose Alex Driving School. Best choice ever. Alex is professional, reliable and very caring. He makes sure the goals are discussed from the beginning. He works with the teenager while communicating with the parents, keeping them informed which for me was extremely important. Before calling him I had called another driving school and the person on the phone was very dry and seemed not interested in a new customer. Alex assists you through all the steps, before signing, during and even after by proving documents and guidance.

He gave my daughter information I'd never even thought of. He has plenty of tips and strategies to help the driver remember how to safely navigate the road. I particularly appreciate that he wants the student to talk to him during the lesson, so he will know that they understand what he's saying, and that they know what they need to do at every turn (step). I realize that this is an important safety measure he uses. Alex is also very patient, and surprisingly humorous!! I can't say enough good about him as an instructor!

Alex is a lovely, patient guy and an excellent teacher. I booked a total of six sessions with him, and just passed my driving test today. I'd had virtually no experience driving prior to working with him. By the end of our time together, I felt so confident and at ease behind the wheel. He's great about asking you what you want to work on (he does do an overview of everything, suburban/highway driving, parallel parking, etc.) which I really liked, because I could set my own pace. And all the while you're driving, he gently peppers you with questions about the road signs, local traffic regulations, etc. so you're really learning quite a bit as you go. I recommend Alex's services without hesitation. A top notch guy and a top notch instructor.

Excellent instructor! He's very hands on and patient which is important for someone like myself that doesn't drive very often. He went over all the basics and made sure I was confident enough to go out to the street. Also gave great tips and advice for being a safe driver, which is something he also highly encourages. Alex was very responsive and flexible with scheduling the lessons. I signed my teenage daughter up for 6 hours of behind the wheel lessons to enhance and reinforce her skills leading up to getting her provisional license at age 16. He was happy to provide specific instruction in areas we requested to make sure she would be ready for the road test portion of the Driving exam. Alex took the time to speak with me (her mother) before and after each lesson to let me know what he had planned for that session and to let me know what areas she needed more practice or reminders. Alex is the best instructor you will find. You're not going to learn how to pass a road test only, you will actually learn how to drive. While driving he teaches you about the laws, referring to what you are supposed to know based on the knowledge exam that you took. I came from another country with a lot of cultural differences when it comes to driving, and he took all of that in consideration when advising me what to do. Again, I will end this with my first statement: Alex is the best instructor you will find.

Received behind-the-wheel driving lessons from Alex Driving School and it helped me to pass my road test from a first attempt! All lessons included a practice of all road test exercises as well as many useful road safety tips, and individual improvement advises. Where do I begin!? Let me start by saying that I'm a very beginner at driving, I came to Alex with no experience at all! He was great with offering pick up and drop off options, from my job and home and he was flexible with scheduling. Always respectful of time but gives you a grace period. His demeanor is what makes him a great instructor because he has the ability to be calm yet firm and forceful, trust me, he knows his stuff!! He is extremely patient and really takes his time to train and teach you correctly.! Driving isn't something to rush into, pace yourself and he'll go at your pace. Give him time to teach you!! Looking at the great reviews for Alex, we contacted him to give our teenager driving lessons and are really appreciative of his teaching skills and patience. We started with one session of 2 hours, and our child liked his teaching style. We then decided to take 2 more sessions of 2 hours each. He never tried to sell us anything extra unlike the big name driving schools'. He was always on time and accommodative of our requests to teach specific skills. Just take it straight from me - Alex is an amazing instructor! Your search for an instructor stops right here at Alex’s Driving School. He has the right fundamentals, technique and is very professional! He has excellent knowledge about the road rules, test rules and has guided me in every step. He knows exactly how to teach and increases your confidence through focused trainings. I’ve had a serious trouble parking the car, especially Reverse and the Parallel parking, he just fixed it in one session!! The way he taught was easier to learn and follow. He teaches a great defensive driving and puts safety at the highest standards. He does not over charge you at all! His prices are the best across entire Atlanta - trust me on this, the amount of quality he provides, its a total bargain! His Student Driver car is an excellent choice to give a road test, it has a smooth controlled steering, the right amount of acceleration and excellent brake response. I had great experience with Aex’s driving school. Alex is an awesome human being with great attitude. When I came to Atlanta few months ago from California, I did not know which was the best driving school… I got driving schools from the Google search and called them and believe me when I say the reply I got from the other two driving schools was “Please go on our web site and read the details”. Alex’s driving school was the one driving school where Alex patiently listened and explained all the details. He was the first person you interact with and he really sets the bar high, he has an awesome sense of customer service and always ready to help and accommodate. I have attempted to get my license twice in California and paid two different driving schools for many hours, but failed each time. Within two hours period, Alex taught more than I learned in over 12 hours with other driving schools. He is highly experienced and knows all the tips and tricks. He taught me parallel parking, 3 point parking, and much more in less than an hour. I got it like the back of my hand and my confidence was through the roof. Two days later he took me to the DDS for my road test. He talked to me the whole time there telling to calm down and that I can do it, and of course I PASSED. I parallel parkied like I have been doing it for years. I am highly satisfied with Alex driving school and I would leave him 10 stars if I could. Thank you so much Alex!!

Alex is a great person and a very capable driver who gives clear instructions and really cares. I told him that I am good at driving, but new to the country. Accordingly, he taught me for 2 hours, showed me how to parallel park, do a 3 point turn, and informed me of the general driving laws in GA. To put the cherry on the cake, he took me to a driving school that was way far from his office (which other schools won't do) and let me drive the car I learned to drive in as part of the deal. Needless to say, I passed right away.
