I attended the 5 day Class A course and absolutely loved it. 5 days of 1 on 1 hands on training worked amazing for me. Every instructor was awesome, shared their personal experiences, and made training tons of fun. They each shared accounts of potential accidents, what they did to avoid them, and the potential hazards you may encounter on the road. My instructor was Travis and he is incredibly patient, respectful, personable, and an awesome instructor! If you are thinking about getting a CDL, go to KPDI.

I attended their 5 day Class A CDL course with little knowledge of driving with Jason as much instructor, and Jamie as my testers. All of the Instructors gave a plethora of advice and instruction to help give a better understanding of how heavy trucks work and how to operate them efficiently, and safely. Would, and will suggest them for anyone needing instruction on driving.

I recommend this CDL school then any other school in the state of Alaska. The staff and instructors are great and willing to go above and beyond to help you get your CDL. Also the housing KPDI provides is really nice because it’s only couple minutes away from the training site. Thank you so much Alex & Sarah!!

Alex and Sara are great people and if you’re trying to get a Class D , B , or A I would recommend on spending tht money at KPDI to get trained by them. Highly recommended! If your looking for a school this is it.Jason was very patient and understanding. Shared his knowledge and experience. I liked the fact that it’s one student one instructor for the whole course. Sarah was very helpful and patient through the whole process. The housing was great and very convenient for those traveling from out of the area.

The instructors were very helpful and patient. They took me from being a complete novice to being able to confidently pass my class A CDL test in 8 days. All of my classes were one on one so I got to learn at my own pace and work on my skills that needed practice as much as needed. They are conveniently located on the Kenai peninsula so I didn’t have to commute hundreds of miles and stay over in another town for long periods to attend classes. I would highly recommend the school to anyone trying to start or advance in the field.

My son just took the driver's education course. Sandie was his driving instructor. She is very personable and really made the driving experience fun and low stress. She was very positive, calm, and absolutely flexible with scheduling driving times. It was also convenient to take the driving test with Alex and then walk in to the DMV ready to get his license. It made it quick and painless. I highly recommend this course for all new drivers.

These guys are great. Instructors and owners are professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Real drivers with real world experience, not just teachers. One on one instruction with actual seat time. These people become invested in the students. They teach you how to drive, not just how to pass the test. I, without a doubt, recommend them. If you want real instruction and knowledge, this is the place to go.

I took the 40-hour CDL Class A training course in December 2019 and was impressed and highly satisfied. Sarah made the whole process a breeze from start to finish. Mike was an excellent instructor, even though I had no previous experience in manual tractor-trailer rigs, by the end of the week I was comfortable and confident with my driving. I think all the 1 on 1 learning/driving time was a key to my success. I would recommend KPDI to everyone and anyone looking to step up their driving experience and knowledge.

I earned my class A CDL with this excellent and competent school. The instructors have expert driving experience and are willingly to teach you the right way of safely driving. They prepare you for the road with skills that will enable you to negotiate the highways as a dependable driver. I highly recommend them for learning and acquiring your CDL.

Good hands on training my instructor was mike he was funny and was good about trying to keep you calm when you made mistakes. Alex was my examiner he was patient and a good person to be examined by. Both were professional and I learned alot. I had zero driving experience and passed a 3 day course they will work with you. If I can do it anybody can!

I just finished the 40 hour CDL course with KPDI, and came away highly impressed - and with my Class A license . Everyone I dealt with was professional, personable, and very helpful - and they all wanted me to succeed. The instructors I met were exceptional and full of helpful information, and having one-on-one instruction made for an ideal learning environment. The office, rather than trying to get me to take the most expensive course, worked to ascertain the skills I had and to offer the appropriate course. Overall, I'm grateful I chose KPDI for my CDL training, and I highly recommend them.

They are all friendly instructors that really teach you with skills you need to be a pro driver, not just to pass the exam. Sarah is helpful and patient answering all questions and will truly help with what you need. I highly recommend them.

Definitely worth the money. Great instructors, 1 on 1 time the entire course, plus very flexible schedule. I took the Class-A CDL training for beginners, I passed the class and got a driving job in 2 weeks after receiving my CDL. I highly recommend KPDI to anyone interested in getting a CDL.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I wanted to upgrade from my class B to my class A and was looking for a good program to choose. I heard about KPDI and their “one on one behind the wheel training” so I decided to go with them and I am so glad I did! I had 40 hours of one on one time with an expert instructor. I had so much drive time and he worked with me on what I needed help with. We got to drive to homer and that was so much fun! He would say “okay we’re done for the day” and I would find myself being sad from having so much fun learning how to drive. These guys go above and beyond to make you succeed, they aren’t just there to collect your money. Thank you Alex, Sarah, Jason and of course my awesome instructor Tod Paine! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Really awesome experience. Booking with then was nice and easy. They were really friendly and made you feel comfortable during the whole training. I did the 3 day course and they managed to train me up with quality, speed, and patience which worked really great and I managed to pass the whole test. I would really recommend this way to anyone. Its affordable compared to many other CDL comoany driving courses and it doesnt take alot of your time either. It's one on one which means alot of hands on driving and practicing Wanted to thank them again for making this possible. Thanks

I only did the driver’s test and it was amazing. The people are really nice. After the driving test, they give you pointers on your driving. They really want to keep their customers safe. I definitely recommend their road test.

You can’t beat the one on one training on the road with these guys who have worlds of experience to share with you. They are able to tailor their training around the individual student and focus on areas that need improvement. I can not think of a way to improve the program they have here!
