Choice to drive Auto or Standard Yard has Fridge and Microwave for lunches Have bottled water available 48ft trailers 1st week in classroom- easy, just listen and take notes. Recommend buying CDL manual to follow along since no books provided School was worth every penny, Tom, Josh and Jeremy are definitely some of the best instructors and will work with you and explain clearly anything you are having problems with. They take time with everyone, and walk you through everything in a plain and simple manner. Each instructor has a different style of teaching so you will be able to understand from one if not the other. They also share different ways of doing maneuvers so if one isn't working for you the other might. Happy I got my CDL so quickly, Just listen to the instructors and you won't have a problem.

I had a fantastic experience with 160. Had never driven a semi before and got my cdl in just a few weeks. The instructors at the yard (Tom, Josh, and Jeremy) are truly wonderful; very knowledgeable and great teachers that do everything they can to help you succeed. Highly recommend!

Top notch fellas. Want to see you succeed. "One and done baby!" Tom, Josh, Jeremy and Emilio.. Can't say enough about them. Made school fun and worth every penny. Looked at other schools and was hesitant about 160 cuz I never heard of them but took a chance and I'm glad I did. Best decision ever made. Only see good things for this school. Study, Listen, Apply, Your on your way to better pay. S.L.A.Y. Do yourself a favor and come to school with a clean slate and willing to learn new things. Life will be easier for everyone. I was treated very well. The information was explained clearly and if mistakes were made our instructor , David, made sure all questions were answered. I was very comfortable with David. Emilio the branch manager was so understanding and helpful. I appreciate the Academy for the education in my new career choice.
