Dr. Leibowitz is an outstanding doctor! For many years my blood sugar was uncontrolled, although I was under the medical care of a leading clinical US institution. Things changed once I accepted a new job offer at NYC. Under his supervision, my cumulative three-month blood sugar dropped from 11 to 7.1. Thanks to his persistent and dedicated efforts. Dr. Leibowitz is a dedicated and highly knowledgeable endocrinologist, as well a superb human being. He is a good listener and spents a considerable amount of time with his patients. His examinations are thorough aiming at the debth of the problem. Time is not a problem for him. I gratefully appreciate his dedication to the medical profession. He is one of the best doctors!

I arrived a little late for my appointment. The was courtous and understanding. I was taken within 15 minutes of my arrival. Dr. Leibrowitz and i engaged in a conversation about my health and well being. After a short period he check my vitals and performed necessary test. The total time about twenty minutes. Dr Leibowitz was very thorough and knowledgeable and explained the plan going forward. The only reason I gave the office 4 instead of 5 stars was because of office issues. I was told that by the time of my appointment date, the doctor would be a participant in my insurance however when I arrived this was not the case and I was not notified in advance. Also when I asked on arrival, if the doctor was running late the staff assured me that he was on time. I was not seen until an hour later. Front staff was otherwise pleasant but should probably refrain from chit chat while in such close proximity to the patient waiting area.

I was in the office in the waiting room. A woman was at the desk and she suddenly started to scream loudly that she was waiting too long for her free samples. The office was full and the doctor was with a patient. She actually started to curse at the staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Leibowitz for 14 years. Not only is he knowledgeable but he goes above and beyond. I felt bad for the doctor and the staff. The front desk explained the patient can choose the doctor but the doctor can't control who comes in to see him. They said thankfully it is rare that the Dr. has to deal with terrible people. I asked Dr. Leibowitz about it. He said that most of his patients are wonderful and considerate. Thanks Dr. Leibowitz for being such a caring physician!
