Doctor Dam is an excellent doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Dam’s since the opening of her South Tampa Office. Dr. Dam has treated me in a number of settings over the years and her diagnosis and treatment has literally changed my life and my longevity. Dr. Dam emphasized to me that good personal changes in my life such as diet, exercise, weight loss, sleep hygiene, family, activities, and other good habits could change my life for the better, and it did. Her sincere interest in my wellness has resulted in a lipid panel that is optimum with everything measuring excellent for the past three years, which prior was completely out of wack. I now walk 10,000 steps a day (5 miles), do 10 flights of stairs a day, eat less than 2200 calories a day, monitor my BP and pulse (both now in excellent range), along with my pulse ox along with intensity minutes, measured by my Garmin watch. I have also experienced a noticeable weight loss, losing nearly 50 pounds, along with increased activity and happiness. Dr. Dam took an interest in me; and I took an interest in myself once she helped me realize how important good habits and health are to my well being. Yes, I am motivated by positive the results!!!! Additionally, I was also able to decrease the number of medications I was taking significantly. Dr. Dam is an excellent physician with a great bedside manner. Finally, having moved three years ago from Tampa to Cocoa Beach, Florida, I travel two hours each way to maintain my visits with Dr. Dam along with tele-visits as appropriate. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Dam. She represents Bay Care very well and her staff is easy to deal with, very friendly, very professional, and detailed. Dr. Dam runs an excellent office and provides excellent health care. Finally, as a patient, I use the on line portal and Dr. Dam gets back to me quickly when I make an inquiry or ask a question. She also replies to me when labs are provided and posted to my health care account. Dr. Dam is the best physician I have had in my lifetime; and I am 71 years old. Thank You, Dr. Dam, you deserve 10 stars!!!!
