I do not exaggerate when I say that the services provided, over the years, may well have been life savers. The options given to me, twenty years ago, were either life altering, debilitating surgeries, which would likely ruin all quality of life and the ability to provide for my family and myself; or descending into a drug induced haze, which would likely have the same results. When I first met Dr. Neil Ellis, in 2013 (8 years ago!), I had been referred by a very renowned neurologist to him as my last option to surgery, since I refused going down the road with opioids. Due to the insurance issues, I moved to another Pain Management Doctor, not long ago, and found the lack of results disappointing and the procedures to be excruciating, almost to the point of being barbaric, compared to the fine, caring treatment received by the PPOA team, in general, and Dr. Ellis, in particular. I am a fan of his for life and refer everyone who asks to him.

The Doctors and staff are all very nice. I have a good re pore with my doctor and his staff. It is easy to get appointments when needed and everyone is very helpful. They really do seem to care about my pain and finding a way to improve my quality of life to the best of there ability. I have all positive things to say about the practice and it's employees.

Dr Gorman has given my life back to me..after a failed hip replacement in 2017 and a hip revision in 2019 i was left with permanent nerve damage. I tried everything from physical massage therapy to ablation to medical marijuana..nothing helped the horrid pain i was in..it was so debilitating that i thought that it was how my life was going to be. My PCP Dr talked to me about a pain management dr. I did alot of research and found Dr Gorman. He talked to me about what had transpired in the past to where I am now and i finally..after 4 yrs got a definitive diagnosis of CRPS. Dr Gorman told me what he can do to help which was first a trial of a DRG neurostimulator. I discussed it with my husband and said.."This is the last thing I'm trying". The trial was a complete success and had the neurostimulator surgically implanted on 6/25/2021. The pain i experienced for 4 yrs is completely gone. I can now walk like a normal person. I can walk around the block and thanks to Kristin from Abbott and Dr Gorman i am now able to have a normal life. Anyone that has debilitating pain i cannot stress enough go see a Dr Gorman. I have been a patient of Dr.Leal's for many years but recently for the past year or so I have been treated by Eric Shelton PA. Eric is a great asset to this physcians group. He takes the time to talk and understand the his patients and the pain we're going through. Eric is very thorough and his bed side manners are amazing! The problem I have with this office is that when you call the prescription line for issues, they never return your call or take care of the problem. I have to call over and over just to get what I need when they didn't do there job. Also they are never on time with appointments.

Five stars for Dr Leal he was wonderful I had an appt. with him in November I felt instantly comfortable and thought everything was going to be great. The nurse that I had on both occasions and other medical staff were great. The office is another story. I would advise anyone considering making an appt at the Habana location not to the office horrible. The phone #'s on the paperwork (for test results to be faxed) are wrong. Appts are canceled by the office without notifying. I could say more but I won't the idea is that the problems are the fault of office manager. I'm lucky I'm not taking opids so I can leave.

I was in irretractable chronic pain following an Auto accident. I had over 100 nerve blocks and 3 spinal cord stimulation trials with other doctors. Finally, I found Dr. Ellis. He was and in one of the most proficient and thorough I have ever met. He implanted a pain pump which has improved the quality of my life exponentially. The RSD that worsened massively after the MVA. If you want relief from chronic pain, make an appointment with the best pain management doctor that I have seen in 34 years, Dr. Neil Ellis.

Upon moving to Florida three years ago, I have to admit that I was very nervous about having to leave the only doctor that treated me for the ten years since my accident but I got lucky finding Dr Leal. I feel like a real person when I go there. He actually makes you feel like he understands how hard it is to have to live with chronic pain and he truly cares about your treatment. His PA's are the same. My last appointment was with Eric Sheldon. It was a crazy busy day but when he came in the room and shut the door it was as if he closed the door on everything that was going on and I had his full unrushed attention. I truly believe that caring and understanding are job requirements there and to be honest when you live with chronic pain that can mean so much.

Ive been seen Eric Sheldon PAC for almost a year now and I like to add that he has help me dramatically with my pain as far as what to do or things to try after my surgery. He has improve my way of living by sharing all his knowledge and experience. Makes me feel welcome every time I come to visit, whether there is lots of patience in the office or not, he always greet you with a smile. Great customer service!!! Eric shelton pa-c. Im very pleased with the care i get. Eric has helped in my progress. I love coming there. I know he will always be there to help. Never judge. With my upcoming surgery. He is helping me to deal with the painful side of it. I would recommend him to all my friends.

The facility is very clean and people are very nice. I need a prior authorization form for my medicine so insurance will pay for it. The medicine is not fillable for insurance to pay until the 28th of the month because when I was switched to embeda it took 3 weeks for pharmacy to get it. my ms contin 30 mg. I do not have to take much of anything and I was on it for about 6 years. I called betterhealth but the fax number just rings and so I do not know if they got the form. I am going to try and get a form emailed to me so I can copy it for hand delivery because it takes about 10 days after the fill date to get everything done. But I know Dr. Leal is a very good doctor...and I have seen many pain management doctors over about 20 years of going...

hi my name is marisol irizarry I have met Eric Shelton and he has made me feel so comfortable that I can honestly say he doesn't listen he pays attention people get confused from listening to paying attention theres a big difference but this dr Eric Shelton i recorrment him to anyone that feel uncomfortable this dr absorb the patient and and try to do his best to make you feel better I had a pain dr since 2010 due to change insurance i came to him and i compare my previous dr to dr Eric Shelton there is no comparison he check the patient and he advise with other remedies to make the pain subsides he's a wonderful man I will recommend him to anyone.
