I was referred to Dr Maxcy by a client. She recommended I get a new MRI before office visit. I was in some serious nerve pain and have been part of the bad back club for over 5 years. She went over my MRI during office visit and had me in outpatient surgery in less than 24 hours. The procedure she performed helped alleviate my nerve pain substantially. She was very professional as was her entire staff. I would HIGHLY recommend USA Spine and Dr Maxcy before even remotely considering back surgery. This is a follow up review for the office visit one week later. I don’t write reviews. It’s not what I do. But I have to share my experience. Dr Maxcy spent 45 minutes going over my mri and radiology report and going over the procedure I had one week earlier. Her empathy, compassion and knowledge are unsurpassed. She explained all of my options. Once again her staff provided FIRST class service. I share this in hopes other people in the bad back club take advantage of this and it helps. It’s worth sharing.

Dr. Maxcy was amazing. I had a severe disc herniation in L4-L5 and I was advised by two doctors that I needed to have an urgent surgery. Of course I didn't want to believe them and reached out to Dr. Maxcy for other non-surgical solutions. Dr. Maxcy did my evaluation and reviewed my MRI and was very honest with me that my condition was in fact very severe and that anything that she could do would only be a temporary solution before an imminent surgery. I really appreciated her very candid and honest advice and had a surgery performed last week. Dr. Maxcy truly looks out for a patient and not for her own profit. She even offered to write me a prescription for an appropriate mattress to use post-surgery when my surgeon was indifferent about it. I would highly recommend Dr. Maxcy to anyone.

I visited for a consult after an auto accident. I have zero complaints about the office. They were friendly and on time. Dr Maxcy explained everything and confirmed I understood. She offered me a choice in my treatment and was completely okay with whichever option I chose. I highly recommend the office.

I went to Dr Maxcy in 2011 for a work related injury and was very pleased with her care. There were a number of procedures she utilized for me to get better, and put me on three different prescriptions for pain management. On a follow up visit to the office she worked out of I was treated poorly by another Doctor who's care did not meet the standard that I felt I received from Dr. Maxcy. That office was 40 minutes from my house, and I was told I had to see whatever Doctor in that group was available. My chiropractor referred me to another Doctor that was only 10 minutes from my house, and I had been going to that Doctor for the past six years for refills on the prescriptions that Dr Maxcy originally prescribed. I only needed to see that Doc and get a refill about once (sometimes twice) a year, even though it was only a 30 day supply; because I only took them as needed. Mind you this medicine is taken as a last resort, as I go to the chiropractor and medical message therapist on a regular basis. I also strength train, have about a full rehab facility's worth of equipment in my home gym, and am married to a physical therapist. So all I needed here was a refill on the prescription Maxcy put me on almost 7 years ago. There is no fixing my conditioning, only minding it well. I have been doing better than all the Doc's thought I would be, due to my own dedication to good overall well being. Maxcy thought I was going to need neurosurgery in 2011. The Doctor I had been going to for the scripts has retired, and my chiro told me Maxcy was working out of another clinic not too far away. I called to make an appointment with that clinic. I explained who I was and what I needed on the phone, and they told me my visit would be $125. I pay out of pocket for everything. That price was fair, as it was the same I've been paying all these years. However, when I arrived at the clinic (that was 30 minutes away), I was told my visit was going to be $350. When I replied that I was told $125, they told me it was because I was a new patient. I explained that I'm an old patient of Maxcy's and have been on the same routine she put me on all these years. They said that since it's a new clinic, that I would have to pay the $350 for a new patient consult. I could understand additional administrative work needing to be done to get me into their system, and would have been willing to pay $250 (twice the regular visit fee), but $350 was not worth it. I left the office. That's either a bait and switch marketing tactic, or poorly trained staff answering their phone and taking appointments. Either way they wasted an hour and a half of my day by practicing bad business. Only 3 stars because I cannot speak for the quality of care, only the way the office is run.

I would like to commend the entire office from the front desk/check out /patient care (Brittany, Nicole etc) to billing and manager Jessica and of course Dr Colleen Maxcy. They have been amazing, professional, and so helpful. It is never easy dealing with people in pain and/or dealing with our insurances. I am very grateful and thankful to each and every one of you! God Bless you all. I highly recommend this office and doctor.

Incredible, smart, kind, generous and knows what she's doing!!! first time I ever had a small procedure done to my back 3 herniated discs she took the time to go over every little thing with me in and out procedure would definitely recommend her to everyone thank you so much Dr Colleen Maxcy & her staff!!!!
