Dr Gomez was very attentive and spent a lot of time with me. I thought she was excellent and trying hard to get to the reasons behind what was going on. She has sent me to several doctors who ordered lots of tests and they are still trying to get to the problem. I have one more doctor to see in 2 weeks which could hold the key.

My husband and I both go to Sterling Primary Care. We make appointments for same day and times. Everyone is courteous and professional. I hate to have blood taken but the lab personal are very easy and don’t hurt. Our doctor takes as much time as needed to listen if we’re feeling sick, or he explains our lab results and checks our vitals. When time for physicals he is thorough. We get a copy of what we discussed during our appointment. I’ve also used the TellaMedicine and when we need a referral, he has never sent us to a doctor we didn’t feel comfortable with. He is also young so will be around. We are both well satisfied with Sterling and with the new parking garage it’s almost perfect when you need to see a doctor.

My experience with Dr. Kenzie Dent, now Smith, has been outstanding. My wife and I selected her for our primary physician after both being "fired" as longtime patients by the Frist Clinic. No reason ever given. Dr. Smith is the best primary care doctor that I've ever had in her interest in my well being, pursuit of potential issues, and great "bedside manner". I'd recommend her services to anyone!

First trip to a brand new doctor for me, (my previous doctor retired), and I understand what precipitated the rave reviews I had received prior to my visit. Everyone at Sterling, from the appointment desk personnel to the nursing staff was amazing. My visit was capped off with a comprehensive examination by Dr. Lackey whose attention to detail and compassion for his patients was obvious. I couldn't have asked for a better initiation to a new facility. Two thumbs up!

My last visit, a work-in, was the quickest I have ever experienced and this office is spinning like a top. My specific provider, Kenneth Vargas, is my most trusted doctor. He regularly goes above and beyond for me but I also consider his medical opinion to be both the broadest and is often specialist-deep. His staff also is always friendly and efficient, especially Connie. They call in prescriptions super-quick when needed. In a time when things are only getting harder most everywhere, Dr. Vargas and Sterling Primary Care is leading the charge for a new standard in healthcare.

I have been going to Dr. Julia Gomez for the past four years. While my insurance has changed every year, I have made sure that the insurance would accept Dr. Gomez as my primary physician before accepting the insurance. She is warm, personable, caring and efficient. I haven't had much need for intervention during the year, but the time I was ill a couple of years back and needed to see a doctor, I was able to get in to see Dr. Gomez the day that I called. I do love the new location at Centennial. It is spacious and inviting. The staff is also very nice.

Dr. Gomez is incredible. She always makes herself available for her patients and spends a good deal of time with me during my visits. I never feel like she's rushing through my appointment. She has a no-nonsense bedside manner but gives advice from a place of love. She's always quick to respond to messages sent through the portal and has gotten me in quickly when I've needed to be seen. I did have to wait several months for her to have a new patient availability, but once I was established with her I was able to get in whenever I needed to. Gomez was worth the wait and I've recommended her to several people.

In my experience, I have never had a doctor like Dr.Gomez. She is caring, skilled, responsive to my needs and requests, and is not alarmist...but appropriately cautious. In addition, her staff is exceptional. I recently learned that my new insurance plan was not a part of her office. I was given the option yo find another doctor but I would not and was willing to pay for visits to continue under her care. With her and my insurance providers collaboration, it was worked out so that she is in my plan. BEST PHYSICIAN EVER.

Dr. Sanders is a wonderful family doctor. For well over a decade, he has provided individualized, focused, state-of-the-art, thorough care to my family. Any issues are addressed promptly. The entire staff is compassionate and patient. The waiting room is like a nice cafe and lounge, complete with TV's, coffee, canned refreshing drinks and more. My seat in the waiting room never gets warm. Practically no wait time after check in. I would recommend this doctor to any and everyone. And if I didn't mention it before: MY DOCTOR KNOWS HIS STUFF!

Just completed a new patient visit with Dr. Julia Gomez. I am most impressed with her and her staff. All were so welcoming and made it seem like I was a valued guest in their clinic. They were also very detailed and went through all my medical history. DR Gomez was thorough and a very good listener. I am glad I joined this group. October 2019: Well it's been a year with Dr Gomez and she continues to affirm that my wife and I made the right decision in choosing her as our primary care physician. In July my wife was injured in an accident during our vacation in Maryland. Dr Gomez and her nurse spent time over the phone and email helping us navigate the medical system to ensure she got the tests she needed. Recently, I had some medical issues that required email follow-ups with Dr Gomez and once, again, she was there for us. We are so grateful and thankful that she is our physician. October 2020 Wellness Visit: A little leery about going to the Dr.'s office during the pandemic, but my fears were quickly lightened. Covid safety protocols are in place to include each person given a sanitized pen for filling out paperwork. Once in the exam room I was asked to wash my hands and Dr Gomez and her assistant washed their hands multiple times. As for Dr Gomez, I can't sing her praises enough. My wife and I feel blessed to have such a caring and knowledgeable doctor. September 16 Work-In visit: Once again Dr. Gomez outdoes herself. What a great family doctor. We are blessed.

Burton Sanders has been my GP for about 15 years. I sometimes see the NP, Alyssa Hopkins as well. Both are outstanding providers who actually care about their patients and give you time that is necessary in delivering quality healthcare. And yet they somehow manage to get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The entire staff there is welcoming and wonderful.

I always receive excellent care when I see either of my two providers. The waiting room staff are always courteous, check you in quickly, and I am usually put in a room promptly. Whenever I have a question or a concern, the response time from the provider is very quick. I believe it would be hard to find a practice where staff are as courteous, concerned, and professional as Sterling Primary Care.

Dr. Burton and Alyssa Cunningham, and their whole wonderful team, have been taking care of my elderly parents ever since they moved here four years ago. Each visit is a joy to them. Everyone is kind, helpful, caring, and precise. They work so efficiently together that there never seems to be a wait and Debbie or Pam can always work some magic to get you in if it's urgent. They are especially good with my 93 year old father who has dementia and loves to joke around with them. They go along with his nonsense and make him feel loved. Had an amazing experience at Sterling. First off, the free valet parking was a godsend. Secondly, the interior of the building was clean and beautiful, even luxurious. Thirdly, everyone I came in contact with was extremely kind and polite. No one seemed to be in bad mood. Most importantly, I was going to get my thyroid checked, and for all the discussion over the difficulty of finding a good thyroid doctor, Dr. Nabors was excellent. She was personable and easy to talk to, and assured me that she checked functional levels, not just your usual doctors office levels. OMG where do I start. I relocated here from Clearwater FL. I have some health issues and was really concerned about seeking a good doctor. And I am bless to say that I am very thankful for Dr Jacob Fowler. He is an awesome doctor who takes time to speak with, listen and provide excellent treatment plans. If you are not feeling comfortable with his recommendation he gives you other options. He works at a pace for your comfort level. He also explains in detail what treatment he is recommending and why. He is such a thoughtful person and definitely puts you at ease. And the icing on the cake is all of the staff I have encountered are kind and patience. Dr Fowler and his staff are more than 5 stars to me and I am thankful to have such a warm and knowledgeable physician who is surrounded by a friendly office staff.

Just had my first visit for an annual physical and Alyssa is fantastic: thorough, personable and professional. She followed up IN PERSON the NEXT DAY with my lab results. The office handled all my referrals quickly and efficiently. My only complaint is that I couldn't get in for an initial visit for 5-6 weeks, and since I was switching insurance I just had to cross my fingers that I didn't need anything before establishing as a patient. But now that I'm in, barring any insurance changes, I think I'll be staying a while. :-)

If I could rate the facility and the practice separately, I would. Sterling Primary Care (& specifically Dr. Cheryl Nabors) are fantastic. Five stars! The building in which they lease space, however, is a cluster of a nightmare for people who walk and bicycle to places. No bicycle parking; idling cars waiting by the valet stand. Seems like a healthcare facility might do more to create a situation of wellness. One star.

Finding a good PCP isn't easy... But Sterling PC has provided me with two excellent physicians. Dr. David Edwards was my PCP until he retired and recommended Dr Craig Wright at their cool springs facility. I have been seeing Dr. Burton Sanders for over 15+ years. When he was at the Centinial location, I dreaded dealing with the staff. They were rude, dismissive and condescending. His partners in the practice were excellent as well. I feel Dr. Sanders and I have an amazing rapport together. He knows I would never call for an unscheduled appointment unless I was close to needing hospitalization. He really captured my highest respect and love for him as a caring soul when my mother passed in another state. Example: I have immediate family members who are hooked on drugs and alcohol. I lost my brother in a drug deal gone bad. So in closing, I just want to say that he and his amazing, caring staff in Brentwood are the best I've ever experienced. We're like friends. Based on my friends reports... that is rare in any medical office. Sterling Primary Care at Centennial Hospital (specifically Dr Vargas) has provided me excellent healthcare since 2001. I recently (this month) returned from living overseas for two years. I decided to return to Sterling Primary Care (Centennial location) to see Dr. Ken Vargas, who has been my physician in Nashville. I now live outside Nashville in Williamson county, but I consider the drive in to see Dr Vargas at Sterling Primary Care a worthwhile investment in my health. Dr Vargas has consistently provided excellent healthcare (not ordering unnecessary tests) or prescribing unnecessary medicines, while carefully monitoring and advising me on my health concerns, referring me as necessary when needed. When I find a good thing, I stick with it. That is why I have chosen Sterling Primary Care for the past 17 years.

Rob Quinn has been my doctor for about 3 years. On my first visit, he insisted that I take an ultrasound test for plaque in the arteries. As a runner with good nutrition, I thought it impossible that there would be any problem but the test showed plaque build-up and was still building. As a result of the medication prescribed, the plaque has had no further growth, thereby saving me from a sure heart attack and/or stroke. Further, at the first sign of some digestive distress and discomfort last fall, I spoke to him about an appointment and he directed me to come the next morning at 7:30 on his day off to check it out. Result was finding colon cancer at early stages and surgery cleared it up without further treatment. Needless to say, I owe much of my health and life expectancy to his skill and caring manner. I just got a Silver Medal in the National Senior Olympics in the 400 meter event early in June. Very thankful and happy to say the least.

I first leaned of the Centennial Office of Sterling Primary Care when my doctor's practice split with most of its physicians relocating to Murfreesboro and my doctor relocating to the Sterling office. The staff at the facility are friendly and courteous. The waiting and restrooms are clean. Unlike my doctor's previous facility, this office includes a lab on its premises. Finally, Dr. Robert Jamieson is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to listen to my suggestions. My only complaint about the facility is the size of the waiting area. However, Dr. Jamieson makes all my appointment excluding walk-ins prior to 8:00 am thereby remedying the large waiting room situation.
